Lmao at Yukimura nonchalantly telling Hideyoshi and Mitsunari how the heroine's doing so well she eats an extra large helping of dumpling skewers every time they go to the teahouse for a date and she never skips her meals😂😂 I mean yeah it shows how healthy she is but lmao😂 I like how Yukimura told the heroine that there is no "wrong" time for her to talk about anything when she had concerns about the guidebook but she didn't want to bring it up because he's been really tired lately. Yukimura noticing her worries despite how tired he is and reassuring her that he will always be there to listen makes me happy. Sasuke disappearing and Shingen leaving with Kennyo definitely does not bode well. But I'm glad the heroine was there to encourage Yukimura and tell him that he's not alone and doesn't have to shoulder rebuilding the Takeda himself. But, her hand passing through Yukimura when she tried to touch his cheek was just sad. It's sweet how Yukimura comforted her with the pin he got her and very calmly told her he will protect her and her future. Considering how silly they can be with each other, it's very reassuring and sweet to see the other mature side of their relationship as well. I'm also glad the heroine has realised that she doesn't need some great purpose or anything to be there to support Yukimura.

I mean I really love Yukimura's confession as to how important the heroine is to him and how he's so glad that she didn't disappear without a trace like Sasuke did, but I'm just imagining Motonari holding the heroine as a hostage listening to their sappy love exchange and it makes me laugh hahahaha. I think it's true and I agree with Yukimura that Kicho saw all the bad things the future held and neglected and ignored all the good things it had such as the heroine. I think it's sweet to know that the peony pin lasts until the heroine's future era, that's one sturdy well kept pin! But it just goes to show how much the heroine and Yukimura would have cherished it as a special family heirloom as well as how much he loves her. I'm kinda sad that the pin will be kept in a box but I guess it is the best way to preserve it and keep it safe.

Overall, Yukimura's sequel was a short and sweet additional story. The plot isn't the best but it doesn't really need to be since all I cared about was seeing more sweet moments between the heroine and Yukimura so it delivered and did what it needed to do! I loved seeing Yukimura and the heroine's silly antics which were what made me love them so much in the first place, as well as all their sweet gestures towards each other. Yukimura not only shows with his words how much he loves her, but he also does it through his actions and precious gifts to her. He's considerate, thoughtful, understanding and very caring and will always be my best boy in this game hahaha. The peony pin thing was a nice touch and very sweet because it's so like Yukimura to give the heroine a very simple but precious gift, and it's very sweet of the heroine to cherish something so simple but important to her because it represented them and their love for each other that endures through hardship and the ages.

I agree with your long time relationship anon! While I haven't been with someone that long, it doesn't even pass my mind to think "wait did Harry and Louis break up?". Like to me they're beyond a normal couple, they just feel like soulmates in so many ways and that's from what we've seen as strangers from the internet. To me they decided a long time ago that they're it for each other and nothing will change that. Can't imagine how beautiful (and disgustingly sappy) it is to witness them together in private. I think I've been in fandom long enough to know that it's not my job to convince others to become larries. i'm trying to think of my own indulgent headcanon to share that i haven't already told you 🤔 i will say that your use of shania twain in lps made me hc that edd would secretly be a big fan of hers. i know it's kinda ooc but it's really funny to me. he's a sap and her songs can be pretty sappy. there's also a lot of pedal steel in her music which automatically makes me think of him.

Hmmm time to rack my brain for some other headcanons for the Eds’ parents. Let’s see:

I wrote this in like me still but I think Edd’s parents get a divorce once he’s 18. I sort of hint at this but in my mind his folks are more amicable colleagues than romantic partners: not that they don’t care for each other, but they know pretty early on after having Edd that they are more friends than husband and wife. They do a lot of things out of obligation and respectability.

While I imagine most of the parents in the cul-se-sac to know one another (possibly even have grown up together - we love intergenerational beaf), Edd’s parents are an enigma and literally never socialize. This rubs most of their neighbors the wrong way, really pisses off Eddy’s parents, especially his mom, who takes it super personally (and probably rightfully so).

Sort of a popular one, but I also like the idea of Ed and Eddy’s dads being business partners selling used cars. Or actually, Ed’s dad sort of being Eddy’s dad’s superior 👀.

I think Eddy’s parents (I come them Eddy and Carmela, or Lina for short) are middle school sweethearts. Eddy Sr. threw rocks at Lina during 7th grade recess and she beat him with a fence post and the rest is history.

I imagine Ed’s parents having a pretty big age gap, with his dad being like 10 years older than his mom. We all agree Ed’s mom is a miserable housewife, right? And that his dad is a shellshocked vet? Yes?

Okay this is gonna start out sorta dark but stay with me: in college I read this book called Rampage: The Social Roots of School Shootings which informs a lot of my headcanons on Bro. No I don’t think he did anything THAT drastic, but the book outlined more the conditions that cause kids with mental illness to be ignored for the sake up upholding the community appearance if that makes sense? Sweeping concerning behavior under the rug to not raise concern or point fingers at the parents or adults for failing. I sort of see peach creak as a similar town.

I also like to imagine Edd’s taste in music being a strange mix of experimental obscure + borderline cheesy (I was just listening to the OST for Xanadu by Olivia Newton-John/ELO that makes me think of Edd for some reason). But I’ve never thought of connecting the pedal steel guitar in Shania Twain’s music with Edd. Maybe he can serenade Eddy… 😛

Lucy’s phone buzzed, and she knew who it was before she picked it up.

They were in the lull between the morning and lunch rush; the only occupants besides herself and Holly were the bespectacled boy tapping away at his laptop in the corner, and the man with the oddly impressive moustache sipping tea by the window. There was nothing or no one stopping her from texting back, which wasn’t necessarily a good thing.

[Joan] I haven’t seen him today. there’s nothing to update you on

[Skull] bullshit [Skull] doesnt need 2 b a concrete physical update [Skull] ik u have already spent a minimum of 2 hours thinking abt him this morning [Skull] his hair. his lanky fucking legs. [Skull] penny for ur sickeningly sappy thoughts ma’am

It took a strange amount of time for a reply to come through.

She shoved her phone in her apron and immediately it began buzzing with message notifications, each one presumably more sarcastic than the last. Lucy was far too distracted to care; Lockwood had just walked in.

Lockwood. First name unknown, amount of patterned ties owned unknown (but it was at least twelve), regular orderer of one Earl Grey tea with milk and a ginger biscuit to go. He normally showed up during the morning rush which never left Lucy any time to talk to him outside of the standard cash register exchange, but today was different – he was running late. How interesting, Lucy thought, as she ignored her phone buzzing for the hundredth time. She ought to put it on silent.

“Morning,” Lockwood said as he approached the counter. “One Earl—”

“Grey tea with milk, ooh, and a ginger biscuit too, please?” Lucy said without fully intending to. She froze. Lockwood stared for an excruciating moment until the corner of his mouth quirked up.

“Do I really order that every time?”

“Pretty much every morning, yes.” She occupied herself with entering the order in the till, if only to avoid having to make eye contact. “Will that be everything?”

Of course, it was, and of course, the name for the cup was Lockwood, though Lucy only asked him to not seem like a complete creep with her memory.

Lockwood idled by the counter, scrolling through his phone as Lucy went to work putting his order together. Holly was in the back. The bespectacled kid didn’t make a noise, aside from the clacking of his keyboard. The moustached man quietly sipped his tea. It almost felt as if she and Lockwood were alone, and Lucy wasn’t sure how that made her feel.

She steeled her nerves to say something new. Now or never. “Running late today, are we?”

“I was, up until a few minutes ago. My morning meeting’s been cancelled, so I’m now free until eleven, which is certainly an odd feeling.”

Morning meeting? Lucy thought he was around her age – early twenties – and here she was, working a 9–5 making coffee, while he probably made double her wage in some swanky office. How lovely to think about.

“Yet you still came for your tea and biscuit.”

“Of course. I can barely function without it. Thank you,” he said as she slid his order towards him. He picked it up, hesitated, and looked around the room. When his eyes fell on the bespectacled boy, his face lit up.

“George! I didn’t realise you’d be here.” He strode over to the corner table and made himself comfortable opposite the boy and his laptop. Lucy watched them for a moment or two before realising she probably looked incredibly creepy again, and opted instead to lean against the counter and make sure Skull hadn’t collapsed in her absence.

Thirty-two unread messages. Half of them described Lucy batting her eyes and pouting her lips while Pretty Boy smouldered and sipped his ‘stupidly pretentious earl grey tea, who even fucking drinks that? just drink bog standard english breakfast like any normal self respecting brit’. The other half consisted of incoherent babbling which probably only made sense to Skull himself.

[Joan] you really missed me in those ten minutes I was gone, didn’t you?

[Skull] u flatter urself joanie [Skull] those 10 mins were the best of my entire life actually [Skull] peaceful bliss. pure unadulterated zen [Skull] so did u just run through ur normal coffee shop script like a coward or did u actually make a move

[Joan] I pointed out that he was running late, and he said a cancellation had changed his morning schedule

[Skull] god damn its straight from a film. so romantic!! [Skull] if u cant tell im currently blushing + swinging my feet back n forth in the air [Skull] eee tell me MORE!!

[Joan] I’m immune to your sarcasm. I diverted from my usual script! that’s better than nothing

[Skull] u talked about his morning. schedule. talk of google calendar will not segue into sloppy making out

Across the room, Lockwood was talking animatedly to George, who listened yet continued typing. Lucy checked her watch: half past ten. Thirty minutes until Lockwood was busy again. She was so focused on working out what to do to catch his attention and make an impression that when Holly approached from behind with a soft hey, Lucy practically shot ten feet into the air.

“Hol,” she said, one hand on her chest. She’d almost flung her phone into the glass display case.

“Ooh, I’m so sorry. Didn’t mean to frighten you!” Holly beamed. Her usual cheer could never be dampened by the chaotic mornings on the job. “What’s gotten you so distrac— ah. He seems rather relaxed for someone running late, doesn’t he?”

“Schedule change,” Lucy murmured. “Cancelled meeting.”

“Lucky him. What I wouldn’t give for the morning rush to be cancelled for a day.” Holly nodded to the phone in Lucy’s hand. It buzzed once, as if reminding her it was still there. “Skull boy?”

Lucy nodded. She and Skull had been friends – acquaintances, as he often corrected – for nearly half a year. They’d frequented the same paranormal forums, and after finding themselves in an intense debate over whether ghosts would be able to talk coherently and being berated by mods for spamming the entire place out, had taken it to private messages instead. In six months they still hadn’t settled the dispute, but somehow managed to form something akin to a friendship.

Exchanging personal info was, they had silently agreed, a complete No. From the way he spoke (or rather typed), she guessed he wasn’t far off her age, but besides that only knew him by his skull icon. In turn, he only knew her by her vinyl icon and the choice to go by her middle name online. It was an admittedly dodgy setup – he could be anyone, could be capable of anything – but Lucy had grown accustomed to his sarcastic commentary and brashness, and would be hesitant to let it go.

She’d told Holly about him after being caught texting on the job one too many times.

“Yeah,” she said, tucking her phone back into her pocket. “Being his usual self.”

“No surprise there. But hey, I need your help prepping for the lunch rush. How about you clear Moustache’s table – which, may I point out, is conveniently near the corner – and then come join me in the back. Alright?”

Lucy followed her pointed, neatly manicured finger. Moustache man was gone and Holly was right, his table was close enough to Lockwood’s that clearing it would give her a second shot at conversation. She made a mental note to buy Hol a slice of carrot cake after their shift, and beelined to the table adorned with empty cups and plates.

From here, she could pick up on snatches of their conversation. It all seemed to be business stuff, and it gave her the impression that Lockwood and this George worked together, but their senses of dress were so starkly different that there was no way it was possible. A suit and tie and a graphic tee didn’t belong in the same office.

She stacked the dishes. Wiped the table. Realised she had absolutely no clue what she could talk about. If her hands were free she would have instinctively asked Skull, despite knowing he’d provide a stupid answer.

“Can we help you?” George said over Lockwood’s shoulder.

Lucy blinked.

Shit. She’d been staring again.

She could practically see the taunting messages Skull would send.

“Er,” she said eloquently. “Sorry. Was just wondering if you two needed anything? Cutlery? Sugar?”

Lucy worked hard to not drop the dishes in her hands when Lockwood turned around with a gleaming smile. “Oh, no, thank you. But – do you need any help with that? That all seems quite heavy.”

Moustache man tended to order multiple things requiring multiple plates and a variety of cutlery, and today was no exception. Yes, it was heavy, however no amount of silly infatuation was going to get Lucy to admit it.

She shook her head. “I’m fine, thank you. Could do this in my sleep.”

Lockwood continued to smile. It looked effortless. “Impressive. I’m sure you could take my order asleep, too.”

“Oh, any trained monkey could do that.”

“I ought to start changing my routine, if I’m that known for ordering the same thing every day.”

“It’s like you want me to mess up. No matter what you ask for, I’ll be sliding that Earl Grey and ginger biscuit over to you. It’s just muscle memory.”

“It could be fun to test you,” he said, eyebrows raising. “Up for a challenge?”

“A challenge? Pressing some new buttons and putting slightly different things into a cup? You underestimate me.”

“My apologies—” Here Lockwood squinted and leant forward ever so slightly. It took Lucy a second to realise he was checking her name tag. “—Lucy. I never meant to insult your barista expertise.”

“That’s more like it, Lockwood.”

“Feisty, this one,” George mused from behind his laptop.

“Lucy!” came Holly’s voice from the back. Lucy jolted and only just kept her grip on the plates. Awkwardly, she flashed a smile at the two boys and scurried back to the safety of being behind the counter.

With the dirty dishes deposited in the sink and officially Future Lucy’s problem, she followed the sound of Holly’s voice into the back, but made sure to check her phone along the way.

Lucy turned on silent mode and slid her phone into her back pocket. Skull could wait. She had a lunch rush to prepare for, but the thrill of finally properly talking to Lockwood was enough to keep a smile on her face the whole way through it.

I’m a bumbling flustered mess reading your enthusiasm for my oc stop I will actually sob SKDJFN it doesn’t take much for anyone to woo her she’s a hopeless romantic at heart 😭 but Luffy did it effortlessly I think it more has to do with like the trust she has given him over time like she’s so used to living life thinking humans, especially pirates, are the scum of the earth and for one to take interest in her in that sort of innocent curiosity way without any malicious intentions behind it made her grow an interest toward him that quickly turned into a crush. And on luffys end I don’t even think he understands how his mind works but he was just very fond of her from the beginning he met her. Like she’s something ripped straight from a fairy tail!! And his fascination towards her also turned into a crush, though he’s more oblivious in regards to his feelings and he never really does anything to act on it in a romantic sense. a signature scent!! I never really thought of that oh my gosh,,, recently I’ve been a fan of like a little idea where she always has flowers sprouting from her hair and the flowers change depending on the emotion so this could translate into her having a fresh flower scent 24/7. Someone in the relationship needs to smell good 😒😒😒 and she isn’t one to add to the chaos! She’s a pacifist through and through so she hates causing harm and distress to others even if it’s like prank wise so she just watches as Luffy and the others do their own thing. She often does try to anchor Luffy and reel him back, but ultimately she knows that he’s not one to change in that regard so she’s quickly learned to embrace and accept his chaotic self!!

TIPS FOR A COLLEGE FRESHIE uhh okay HMM i’d say really read up on the syllabus! being ahead on all the readings makes a huge huge difference bcos you can always ask the professor for clarifications on the next meetings + join some clubs / organizations / expand your social circle! i personally did not do this lmao (because i just want to go home after classes and i don’t wanna talk to people 😭) buttt i think making connections in uni is really beneficial since you guys will most likely be seeing each other again in the work industry! also idk if this applies for everyone but from what i know, all your accomplishments and contributions to any clubs can also be included in your portfolio/resume so that’s extra cookie points 💓, and hmm what else... ig really just have fun! those 4-5 years fly by really fast and uni can be intimidating as well but you also gotta remind yourself that its okay to take it easy sometimes! my biggest advice is to never EVER beat yourself up when you feel like you’re falling behind bcos uni is exhaussstingggg and its totally normal that there are just times you’re not doing so great. but yes! read a lot, expand your circle, establish connections, and just enjoy! wishing you the best of luck in your uni life bb i’m so proud of you 😭💓 NOT ME BEING SAPPY because i feel like an older sibling 😭

Well this year has been. Interesting to say the least

...Well for starters I officially have a voice now. That's interesting right? Being a voice actress has always been something I've wanted to do, and that dream is now a reality! I'm currently involved in a number of Fangans/Project Sekai fandubs/just other random things which has been a lot of fun so far, and has helped me meet so many new friends! While most of the Fangans I'm voicing in still are yet to release, I'm still hyped to show you all nonetheless! I'm also involved in some Fangans as an artist and a writer which I am also excited to promote to people ^v^

And!! I am running my own fandub project of one of my favourite pieces of media in the past few years! Which is fuckin sick if you ask me I never thought in a million years that I'd be directing a project like this so being able to do this is so awesome (if any of the Orbit ALNST VAs are reading this ily all you are soso cool <3) We hope to have another release soon so keep an eye out for that :3

oh and ofc Memento Rosa and Hope's Chains have had some major developments that I've been looking forward to showing you all for such a long time. Both of these projects mean a lot to me so being able to write these and have y'all enjoy it means the world <3

As for next year! Obviously I'll be busy with my VA stuff and the Alien Stage dub, but my hope is to get Memento Rosa's main story and DFTH finally finished (I know y'all have been looking forward to it, dw I've not cancelled it I do plan on finishing it trust me). I do also at least want to start Hope's Chains chapter 4, and I guess starting Memento's event stories is a want but Idk if that's gonna happen yet But! Big things are planned!! Trust me!!!

Anyway, thank you all so much for sticking with me this year! It means so much that you guys are all here so...Idk what else to say other than thank you and peace and love hahahaha
