Another project I did for class! I made the image of the desert dunes very quickly, as I needed something to put the quote over. There are many imperfections, but let's hope it adds to the charm 😂

I wanted to draw some of the other characters from clangen comics I've been reading and trying to keep up with!

From left to right we have:

Heronstar from @juniper-clan (The clangen comic that really inspired me to start making my own comic, highly recommend!!)

Nightcreeper from @anchorage-refuge (A clangen comic set in the Wings Of Fire universe and has now made me want to draw all my cats as WOF Dragons because I love this comic so much!!)

Frostpaw and Swallowpaw from @mouseclangen (I love these 2 silly lil cats and the art style of the comic so much, especially with how their facial expressions are drawn!!)

Pricklestar and Flowerkit from @brightclan (Cats in the backrooms honestly and incredibly unique and funny concept concept for a clangen comic and I'm excited to see where the story goes!!)

Nettleiris from @moons-of-dewclan (one of the first clangen comics I seriously got into! It has gorgeous art and interesting characters, would highly recommend!!!)

Icicleclash from @vespidclan (Another comic with some a very interesting twist that I dare not spoil! I also love how they draw their cats, very great shape language going on!)

I reccomend anyone who likes clangen who hasn't seen these comics to check them out!! This handful are some of my personal favorites and I wanted so show them some love!

Lady of the Lake finished illustration

I finally went and scanned some of my larger-format coursework from Fall 2023! All of these were done for my Beginning Fashion Illustration course. That course was so monumentally helpful for finally learning how to draw humans. I learned about anatomy, how to render shading, and how to do portraits! I've never been able to comfortably draw realistic figures before and now here I am!! This course also taught me how to use markers which made me fall in love with the medium. The final three illustrations were for my course's final where I had to create a series of related fashion illustrations, so I did three self-portraits of my cosplays :> Not every illustration here is fully rendered or a but janky since I didn't always have the time to finish them, but I'm proud of them nonetheless! Junior year marked a massive improvement in my artistic ability.

The death toll of Palestinians has passed 14,000— not including those who are still missing. How many more people have to die before our government calls for a ceasefire? They may look away, but the blood is on their hands. And it has been. From children getting shot on the street to children being massacred at schools to children being thrown into cages on US soil, it is clear that these people have no humanity, empathy, or morality.

It feels like we're living in a time where all we can do is watch as these atrocities are committed, but that isn't true. Scream and don't stop screaming. And don't stop at calling your representatives, scream at them on the street too. I don't care if they're at a restaurant or enjoying time with their families, these politicians don't deserve a moment of peace while they happily advocate for the death of children and babies both abroad and at home.
