how does everyone else see Leshy and Morgan in the cult? Are ppl like ‘yeah those idiots are clearly in love’ or do they think they fight because they actually hate each other?

The general opinion? I'll go for a timeline: -It starts as "What a weird green guy the Lamb brought to the cult, he's grumpy and rude and bad at everything he tries, when he tries at all. But Morgan is helping him around despite the bad attitude, Morgan is always such a sweetheart." -Then one day Leshy is crashed through a barn window by the cat, who follows and does his best to murder him. It's a rough, bloody, scary fight that most followers are not used to see. "Why didn't the Lamb punish Leshy, I know Morgan said he was the one who attacked, but there had to be a good reason right? He would never do something like that! Why is he isolated? Haven't seen him in a week. Let's avoid Leshy that mf is scary as hell, he changed into a monster and raised spikes everywhere." -Turns to "WHY the hell are those two hanging around like that? They constantly insult each other and sometimes they fight- thank the Lamb they never go too far- but why does Morgan continues helping Leshy? I didn't even know he could yell like that, or knew that many swear words. Sometimes they actually laugh- this is insane. Are they friends??? At least we have someone to call when Leshy is fucking around, he's the only one who can make the bastard stop, except the Lamb."

-And later "Yeah they're friends. No, the fighting is normal, don't worry, it's their thing. Yeah I know, it really looks like they're going for murder haha. But that's tame for them, trust me. They seem to play around more than they fight lately though. Don't be rude to Morgan it makes the worm man angry. But he's not that bad nowadays." -Finally "No you don't understand- they HAVE to be fucking right? They're always glued to each other, and they're so touchy they look like an old couple, and- yes I know friends can do that- but the sexual tension though. Leshy is obviously down bad. My money is on them being lovers. Yes, there's bets going around. Lots of them. Wanna join? the rule is observe and don't interfere. I really hope Morgan ends up noticing Leshy's tail wagging when he's happy around him. I put a lot of money on that bet." I'm only into slowburns when they're really well written (pretty rare in my opinion, most authors use shallow reasons to drag things out) EXCEPT when the reason for the slowburn is awkwardness and stupidity. Comedy is my drug.

I FUCKING LOVE TERU

Yes I love this man!! Here are some reasons why:

He is a great and selfless older brother. He took on exorcist duties since he was a little boy because he wanted Kou and Tiara to have a normal childhood,to live a happy life without facing the struggles of being an exorcist. He had his childhood taken away from him but he's okay with it if it means he can see his siblings smile. Because in the end all he wanted was to be the cool big brother to Kou and Tiara.

The memory and motivation that made him keep going on to be an exorcist was Kou smiling at him and calling him cool. This isn't the first time it was mentioned,the first panel of him smiling at little Kou when they were kids is in Young Exorcist Arc.He really loves his siblings,and as long as they're happy,then he would be content,no matter how many injuries he gets or sleepless nights.He even risks his life to shield Kou from No.6 in the Grim Reaper Arc/fight. From the beginning til now,he was always written to be someone who cares for and loves his family.

No.2 He is a good person. Before anyone comes at me with "He tortures supernaturals!He's cruel to Hanako!" I love Hanako but he's a supernatural and Teru is supposed to exorcise supernaturals. Plus, Hanako is a murderer...so...Not to mention the moments when Teru attacks Hanako (severely,not as comedy) is when Hanako provokes him or does something to deserve it,two times. The first is when Hanako puts a knife near Kou in Young Exorcist Arc,Teru saw his younger brother with a supernatural with a KNIFE,who is clearly unstable at that moment. If he hadn't intervened,Kou might have gotten hurt. It's reasonable for him to attack Hanako here as Kou could have been in DANGER..The second is when Hanako has already sacrificed Aoi. This,I don't really have to explain,he literally sacrificed a innocent girls life..

Anyways,Teru is a good person because he tries to help people whenever he can and cheer them up.

When Aoi gets harassed by a cashier,he immediately steps in when he notices. He also asks her if she hates it and asks to make jelly sharks together to cheer her up.

In the Far Shore Arc,he decides to help Akane and Nene go to No.6's boundary. He could have chosen to not help Nene go,he has no reason to but still does. As for Akane,he brings him along to rescue Aoi. Teru could have gone to rescue Aoi himself,he is capable of doing it but he knew Akane wanted to come so they both went to rescue Aoi together.

Before they go to rescue Aoi,Teru takes Akane and Nene on an arcade date to lift their spirits.

In the Altercation,the second timeline,where Nene, Akane and Teru are discussing how to go back to the original timeline,Teru tells Nene that there's still a way and Nene becomes more hopeful to go back.

Teru also has made enchanted glasses for Akane,so when Akane wears them,he won't see supernaturals so that Akane could still live a normal life.

No.3 He's pretty considerate of Aoi and Akan's friendship/relationship.

So Teru has been watching them and stopped them before they managed to kiss,so some people might think oh he's interrupting them!! Teru only interrupted their almost-kiss,he let Akane tell Aoi that he would always love her,he didn't interrupt the hug nor their talk with each other in chapter 70. Teru can be annoying but when Akane and Aoi talked with each other in Chapter 70 while all 3 were walking,he didn't interrupt those two at all,he let them talk with each other nor did he interrupt when Akane told Aoi that he likes her. For a guy that likes annoying Akane,he didn't get between them this time.

No.3 He is funny and I like his silly moments.

Look at him. Silly.

No.4 He's handsome.

Last reason is despise his hatred for supernaturals,he's willing to ask Akane to use all his powers to keep Kou safe.

Question for the more experienced shippers in the mix. It feels like there is a constant pendulum in motion swinging between shippers being pissed at Nic and then pissed at Luke. And for reasons I don’t fully get. It’s a huge drain and honestly grates on my nerves more than the Jakolas at this point. Is this to be expected from here on out?

Ok I'm of the opinion that people should manage their own expectations and shouldn't look to others but I'll give this advice.

Their jobs are our source of entertainment. Their real lives is of interest but it is at a distance. They are not us we are not them. They provide small insight to how they live, we shouldn't ask for more than what they give or when they give it.

Be happy for them when you see them together it's hard to live when you're being scrutinized and criticized every day.

There is always more we don't know. More we won't see and even more we cannot explain. Let them choose their story and what and how they want to tell it. Theories will always be thrown out but don't let theories consume too much of your brain space. Theories can corrupt hence some of the emotional outbursts I see online. That's why distance is needed when looking from the outside.

Focus on other things too. We aren't going to ever get 24/7 content. Whatever we get watch, observe, comment respectfully and move on.

Do not preach and spread hate even if they do something you do not agree with. I'm not saying don't discuss, but don't hate either. They are not robots who will be unfeeling, they have personal struggles as we do.

Unless we are in the industry we will never fully understand what and why they do those things and what they are exposed to that we don't see. Maybe their respective situations provide a safety net from something they are dealing with for now.

One day will never be the next, each day is different. Do not let their public situations be your personal highs and lows.

We see their brand and image more than we see their personal life but behind the brand is a human being with emotions, struggles, ups and downs like anyone else. They do not have conventional love stories and closeness that we experience. Theirs is played out for the world to see, they have to protect them and their loved ones while still doing their jobs and living publicly.

When we realise we can easily live privately compared to them and they have to go through hoops to have some semblance of privacy and a normal life we will be more empathetic.

Life and humans are messy, as with any job, relationship etc things are not linear and sometimes things don't go our way. But it isn't our way it's their life. Not ours.

Stop projecting your expectations on their story. Separate the actors from what you want for them and what you want for you out of this. Their relationship is a bonus, their work is the main attraction. Sooner you get that the less you begin to spiral.

Today is Jake and Antonia tomorrow could be another situation. Again life isn't linear.

They also work together and there is a possibility they have a season or 2 again to go. Maybe they cannot move forward now for contractual reasons or if they can, it's things they need to consider that could be impacted if they are together or not. We don't know so we cannot judge harshly.

Shipping is not for the weak. Look up Christopher Plumber and Julie Andrews. Yes that same Julie who voices LW. She's decades into a Sound of Music ship. Martin and Meryl. I'm not saying this is the timeline for N and L but it's to show we don't control it, they do.

Appreciate the ship, worse thing is to force a relationship and they're not ready. Let's say they're together then break up, we aren't going to be there to wipe tears we won't see. Is that really what you want for them as fans? Where they can take control to make sure their friendship and working relationship is as healthy as possible let them decide because we definitely won't be there to pick up the pieces if they're together then break up. Hearts bleed a different type of sorrow and blood we don't see when genuine love and connection are broken. Losing a loved one to death is hard, losing a loved one while they are alive is fucking war.

OG shippers see it in compartments. We don't see all in a vacuum because not every thing fits. What we do know is we like them and their work and want the best for them. I also think there are new fandom people who have never shipped before or never observed a ship. If this is your first fandom and ship experience welcome to hell. I've been waiting for another ship for years but that's not happening yet so lol. Hope this helps.

Do you believe bill will eventually get better, even if it takes close to an eternity? Or do you think that is just his destiny, to forever be in denial of his mistakes?

I think on a long enough timeline change is inevitable. One way or another, Bill can't stay the same for an eternity.

He isn't necessarily getting better, though. Meds could leave him brain damaged, brain dead, or dead-dead—that's a real risk in psych wards from overmedication, errors, or adverse reactions to drugs, and I doubt Bill would have complained about the place being overmedicated unless the drugs were actually doing something to him. He could crumble under the stress and end up complying with whatever it takes to get him out of there and leave as a broken husk of who he once was. Or he could get more traumatized, more angry, more defiant, more hateful, spiraling on into infinity.

Psychiatric hospitals are, by and large, awful places to be. In fact the only time I've ever seen positive reviews of a psych hospital are from people who have been to multiple and are relieved their latest one is so much better than normal. A very common happy outcome of a psych hospital stay is literally "I absolutely needed to be there and going was the right choice, and I'll be traumatized the rest of my life because of it." And that's when the psych hospital did well.

The Theraprism uses solitary confinement + total sensory deprivation—which humans use as a torture and interrogation technique—as a punishment. I don't think they're doing it well.

I think Bill can improve—mainly because, frankly, at this point there's not a lot of ways left his situation could get worse—but if he does, at this point? It'll be in spite of the Theraprism, not because of it. It's pretty common in psych hospitals (particularly forensic psych hospitals, where all the patients also have the stigma of being criminals) for the treatment to hold patients back more than help. Things like patients that have committed more violent crimes being scrutinized much more than other patients and thus rated as more unwell than other patients displaying the same symptoms. Or patients objecting to taking a med that makes their mental condition worse, and being written up as noncompliant for it and pushed further back from being released until they agree to take the drug that makes them worse. Or patients having innocent behaviors reinterpreted as signs of mental illness ("keeps a journal" = "pathological need to write").

But he could improve. Maybe being cut off from his powers & his enablers will cause him to think over his life for the first time; maybe he'll make actual emotional connections with fellow patients that help him improve; maybe he realizes "this is the worst place ever, I've GOT to turn my life around" and starts checking out self help books from the hospital library. There's even a very slim chance he might get a competent psychiatrist who listens to him, doesn't assume he's incapable of self-insight just because he's mentally ill, and sees him for more than fifteen minutes once in a blue moon—all of which aren't traits you find in psychiatric hospitals as often as you might hope.

Dandelions can grow from the cracks in sidewalks, and people can improve in shitty psych wards.

But I expect the Theraprism will have to reform before Bill reforms.

I expect even more that Bill will find a way to escape before either thing happens.

I was happy after the episode and made the mistake to go to twitter, I stayed 5 min lol. I love this kind of messy tho, peoples who obviously still love and want each other but not fully ready yet so they use a loophole to be together even for just a moment, in this case a day. And I have to say because I saw some 'it's ooc for lucy' that it's actually really in character for her. Being scared, not ready, so she use a loophole like in 5.01 it was 'we're still undorcover so it's ok.' Like she said it's for the day so it doesn't make her talk with tim last episode strange I think. She wants to despite not being ready. She'll be ready by the time she take the exam so they can talk and get back together. With the rookie timeline I think she can take the exam before the season end, even if it's the last ep. We'll see but it's sad not being able to enjoy ep like yesterday in the meantime because they're not official for now. I have to say tho I'm glad I let go of things I wish to see for them because I know the show doesn't operate like my brain + I took a break during the hiatus so my mind wasn't thinking about them and how I wanted things to be so it's easier I must say. As you pointed out she did the exact same thing when they were "technically" still undercover. She wants to be with Tim but she's just not fully ready to deal with the hard stuff yet so she found a way to be with him and not think about the consequences. I will never understand why people think Lucy is this precious angel baby that never does anything wrong. She's messy and emotional and human! THAT'S what I love most about her! As for people who say "Tim hasn't done the work!", makes me think they have an inability to read between the lines. Just because we don't see everything explicitly spelled out for us, doesn't mean it hasn't happened. I took a break during the hiatus also and I'm glad I did. Folks tend to get so caught up in their own headcanons, they can't sit back and enjoy the actual show in real time. I'm just happy we are getting Chenford back. Talking more about the au again

First off 'I like to think they find out because Mic gets so excited about winning that she runs and grabs Taco out of the bushes to hug her celebrate' is a very sweet thing to imagine, even if what it leads to is less so.

I wanted to focus more on how the others react to it this time though.

Not listing everyone, just a main reaction and then a few separate but I'd say the overwhelming reaction would be anger, as said before, the s2 contestants don't really know Taco they know of her atleast some of them do (since Mic knew who Taco was when they first met) but not enough to be mad more at who she's working with more than that she had outside help at all but for the s1 contestants it'd very much be a, 'out of all objects why her?' type of reaction, some objects that were closer to Mic might be somewhat upset by it too, after everything most would probably not contact her again and Mic ends up being banned from the hotel alongside Taco.

Soap probably wouldn't be one of them that refuses to talk to her but I think she would atleast be upset, after giving her the speech on following her heart and all she not only gets outside help but that help comes from one of the most infamous contestants to be on the show, they'd text or call a bit but I think the more time that passes the more that contact would dwindle.

Knife probably also wouldn't cut all contacts with them, I don't think it'd be as frequent as Soap but he'd check in every now and then to make sure they're doing fine.

As for Pickle, I think his first thought would be that Taco is using Mic too, that she's just going to take the money (or her split) and bolt the first chance she gets leaving Mic to deal with the aftermath of it all but she doesn't do that she sticks by Mic, finds the loophole all of that & they leave the island eventually (why stick around? They have what they wanted and almost everyone there hates them now) what happens to them after what he can only guess but it'd probably hurt, he gets told they were never really friends and with Mic she hugs her, Taco goes out of her way to find something to defend her with, let's her come with when everyone's mad it's practically the complete opposite. It'd hurt again when he sees them again when everyone is deleted if their relationship does end up getting better later on too because they're close, I wouldn't view Taco as a big fan of PDA but you'd be able to atleast they're close.

As for whether they'd stay on the island and be part of the community that ends up being built or not I'm not really decided on that yet.

(Also I wanted to make sure it's clear but s3 still happens and the newbies are all still there it just doesn't happen in between s2, I'll probably make a proper timeline later on since that'd be easier)

Yeah, everyone would be upset for their own reasons!! The season 2 cast seem to know what Taco did, so they'd probably not be happy that Mic worked with her knowingly. The season 1 contestants might have more sympathy, actually, with how they saw Pickle get used and dropped by Taco. There's a good chance they think Taco using Mic too.

Soap wouldn't be mad, but she would be disappointed, yeah? She'd probably check up on Mic more in the beginning, yeah, and that would dwindle over time. Hard to have a conversation when you can't mention anything about the people close to you, since there's bad blood with everyone involved, yeah?

Knife would check in, ask if Taco is treating Mic okay, and all that. Would be very surprised to hear that Mic convinced Taco to go to therapy, when that eventually happens.

YES Pickle wondering what Mic has that he doesn't that made Taco want to change for her. Unfortunately the answer is that he is a man and Taco was never in lesbians with him. Among other things. But yeah they'd be obviously close and Taco would be rather obviously different at that point and Pickle will wonder why he couldn't have gotten that from her.

They might stay for some time, but I'd see them moving back into society pretty soon. They're used to it by that point, yeah? They might even be the main helpers of other former contestants who want to move out into the world, with their previous experience and knowledge.

Hello I have a couple things to say and questions to ask. (Sorry if any of them have already been addressed on your blog!!)

First of all this looks great and I'm very excited. I love your designs and creature-fication of everyone (particularly Carmilla, I'm very fond of the idea of vampires having more bat-like attributes.)

The albums as different areas is very interesting to me. I take it this is mostly an au but how much of canon are you going off of? Does this game take place in any particular part of the mechs timeline? I assume you'll be changing the story within the albums considering canon would make most of the main story characters dead so it'll be interesting to see how you tackle that.

Also, massive props to you for doing all the tiles, sprites, maps, and music yourself. Game making is super hard!!

I'm very glad people seem to like what I'm doing and my feral designs! I was at first quite scared but eventually I figured "eh they're all aliens in some way, fuck it." So now I creature the hell outta everyone!!

And it's mostly an au, yes, though if you squint yer eyes and tilt yer head it COULD MAYBE SOMEWHAT fit into cannon?... maybe. Don't quote me on that. I long ago stopped trying to make it fit (examples are ivy Alexandria being trans masc, Marius being nonbinary n using he/they pronouns and the ratatosk express being a steam train locomotive now cause...cause steam train fun :] )

Due to items you'll see on the Aurora (but not in the demo), it's safe to assume it's some time after bifrost or UDAD (I don't remember which one was the last??), since I figured there chaotic gay space pirates do NOT give a fuck of when they play what album, like they could've just experienced UDAD but still tell the tale of OUATIS, Ya know? I loosened my view and accuracy of timeline since I believe it would be impossible for me to create something how I want it to be if I'd stay 100% accurate (also believe me I've tried multiple times to go over the timeline with others and I ended up just quiting)

Lastly to the album areas. I can tell you that the game focuses on nastya and Aurora and to me, Aurora would store the data of everything that happened, places they've been to and people they've met. So if you'd, let's say, be able to enter a "computers" code on a deep level like nastya probably could, I'm sure that data would surely translate into something. ;)

When he wasn't around Toman, he oddly gave more delinquent vibes, as if he were more meant to be a lone delinquent. He was stoic, hair unstyled and baring a pair of black headphones that were clearly used a lot considering the black ducttape around part of the headband, he looked tired too. His left hand was flicking through an mp3 player while his right hand held a paused PSP. He had a black bag laid across his lap as if it were a small lap table that he could set the mp3 down on and return to gaming.

Mitsuya couldn't help his designer-brain getting a little obsessed with the.. aesthetic? The others were just plain admiring.

Someone in a black hoodie and mask came over from the convinience store across the road, holding out a yakitori stick. The stranger chuckled while using the end of it to flick the cigarette out of Takemichi's mouth even as the timeleaper let out tired complaints.

"You asshole, I'm going to make you buy me a new pack if you keep it up." Despite the complaints, Takemichi gave an small smile to the male he'd managed to save. It had taken so much effort but Baji Keisuke stood before him right now, handing him food and being oddly compliant with not letting Toman find out he survived.

"Oh cry me a river, you shouldn't even be smoking. De-stress by burning cars with me or something, stop ruining your lungs." Baji huffed a small laugh while watching Takemichi set the PSP down and take the stick of food being offered. The amber eyed teen sat directly beside him under the umbrella, sideways on the bench with his left leg stuck through the bench seat and back so he could look directly at his savior, and pulled down his mask to eat his own food.

The voice and mannerisms had been enough to tip off Toman's uppers but having it confirmed by seeing Baji's face made most of them nauseous. How was Baji still alive, how had they not known, and why was he faking his death? Why was Takemichi helping him and seeming all close with him? The two were flush together as they sat underneath the same umbrella.

"Ah yes I'm the one ruining my lungs as you breath obnoxious amounts of gasoline and allll the toxic stuff getting burnt with cars. If you ever get caught, you're going to have a whole life sentence from all the cars you've burnt." Takemichi's smile was so exhausted and it hurt Baji as well as the others but none brought it up.

"Pretty sure the whole fake death is a bigger crime, taxes and all that stupid shit." The noiret huffed, his free left hand reaching out and rubbing his index finger beneath his replacement captain's chin. Like a cat, Takemichi's eyes fell shut and he immediately leaned into the affection.

"You had no choice. Last timeline things went.. kinda in my favor when you died? I needed your spot. I'll figure out how to fix things after I'm sure no one dies this time. I'll take the blame so they don't get on your ass either, they can hate me all they want as long as they're breathing and happy otherwise." Takemichi sighed and openly gave Baji a pout while looking up at him. It earned a small upside-down smile from the fanged teen.

"You're doing good, I'll make sure they won't hate you for saving all of us." Baji's words dripped with care and the faux blond nodded, eyes shutting again as Baji kissed between his eyebrows. "Now eat, Take. Hina's gotten on my ass too many times about making sure you eat on our dates."

With Baji's scolding, Takemichi looked at the noiret with playful eyes that should've alerted Baji but didn't fast enough. The ocean eyed timeleaper was fast and precise in dipping his head to bite off a piece of Baji's yakitori only to immediately complain that it was spicy just holding it between his lips. The amber eyed teen happily stole back his food while giving Takemichi a direct kiss, leaving them both with pink cheeks but laughing softly.

"Eat your food, you know I like spicy shit." Baji's left arm slung over Takemichi's shoulders and they ate their own food in comfortable silence. Both were oblivious to the stunned eyes on them and most of the Toman admins were glad Chifuyu wasn't able to come along today. They could hardly keep themselves from rushing the secret lovers, they couldn't imagine how hard it'd be to stop Chifuyu.

"At least they're happy? And he said Baji had to, there has to be a reason." Mikey was uncertain in his own words but spoke them anyway, still watching his childhood friend and current friend be so lovey. Baji continued to pepper kisses on Takemichi's face while they ate and Takemichi gamed with his headphones around his neck playing music low enough to not bother others but so they could both listen.

"By the way, I have an appointment for them to take out the stitches day after tomorrow and I'm making you come with me and mom. I can't thank you enough for helping with the hospital bills" Baji combed his hand through Takemichi's hair and pecked the faux blond's lips again. The other founders couldn't help being a little happy at how sweet the love seemed to be between the two.

Not to mention that Baji had mentioned Hinata and they all knew Baji well that he would never play a part in cheating, so it must've been allowed by Hinata. And his mom knew he was alive so Baji wasn't hurting her. So this was all.. okay. They were hurt about the fake death, it'd been traumatizing, but Baji was alive, happy, safe, loved, and clearly well looked after.

"You don't have to make me, I want to make sure you're doing okay. And playing this sorta.. guardian angel is fun so you don't have to thank me either. Knowing that I've already stopped your death makes everything feel so much better. I think I can actually do it this time. No one is going to die under my watch, I'll save Hina and Mikey and everyone else." Takemichi looked to Baji with love and received yet another sweet kiss before Baji rubbed the tips of their noses together.

"Well you have a ghost on your side too and like hell I'm going to let this all hurt my boyfriend, his girlfriend, or my friends. You can do it, I believe in you. They don't know it but everyone in Toman believes in you, my love." Baji's friends had never heard him sound so in love and softly happy, nor had they ever seen either of the two lovers look at someone the way they looked at eachother. Of course Takemichi looked at Hinata with love but it was a different type of love, still equally important.

"Thank you Kei.. so so much.. but your kisses are starting to be too spicy" Takemichi lightened the mood and it pulled a fangy grin from the noiret who immediately gave Takemichi several teasing kisses while asking how spicy it was and if Takemichi was sure he didn't want some of the spicy yakitori.The faux blond gave laughed out complaints, clearly happy with his boyfriend.

The two soon returned to Takemichi gaming, Baji teasing him about the games and the two just aimlessly chatting with pure adoration in their eyes whenever they looked at eachother.

As it usually happens on here, we become fans of things by osmosis if we didn't seek it out for ourselves. So I've been following you for a bit and I have finally crossed the threshold from "this person I follow really loves this media and I love seeing their love for it on my dash, so glad they're having fun" over to "I wanna have fun, too." And that's all thanx to @thatgothsamurai's photobooth art.

So, I hope you can guide me on where I should start with patpran and inkpa, and the rest. Like, are they on separate shows that crossover? A spinoff? Like, what's going on, where do I start, how do I watch. Like you, I'm in the US. Any suggestions are appreciated.

okay so both patpran and inkpa are canon pairings from the thai bl bad buddy and its related special episodes! all are produced by the thai production company gmmtv.

the show and all related episodes are available to watch on youtube with english subtitles - i'll link to relevant playlists.

THE MAIN SHOW: BAD BUDDY THE SERIES

directed by "aof" noppharnach chaiyahwimhon (who is gay himself), and starring "nanon" korapat kirdpan as pran, and "ohm" pawat chittsawangdee as pat. the original show is twelve episodes, which aired from october 2021 to january 2022. i watched it for the first time in february 2022 and have not known peace every since

the premise is that pat and pran, who have lived next door to each other since birth, have been rivals all their lives because their families hate each other. after pran's sent off to boarding school for three years, they are unexpectedly reunited at university - where they find that their friend groups are also enemies, so they have to keep up the pretense of hating each other. but of course they fall in love instead!

the main story is about patpran, but inkpa is a canon side pairing featuring "love" pattranite limpatiyakorn as pa, pat's younger sister, and "milk" pansa vosbein as ink, a classmate of pat and pran's. though they get less screentime, i still think they have a delightful romantic arc themselves!

SPECIAL EPISODES

zero photography: an inkpa special episode that is set after the main show. directed by "tee" bundit sintanaparadee, whom i don't know much about, and aired in august 2022

our skyy x bad buddy x a tale of thousand stars: so our skyy 2 was an anthology of special episodes released between april and june 2023 for a bunch of different gmmtv bls. each show was supposed to have two special eps for their characters, but since two shows directed by p'aof were getting special eps (the other one being a tale of thousand stars, also a delightful show), he decided to use four episodes as a crossover of the two shows. in the bad buddy timeline, these eps take place during a timeskip that happens in the original show between episodes 11 and 12, and features patpran but has a few great inkpa appearances too. you don't really need to have seen atots to understand the eps, i don't think? but they probably are more enjoyable if you have haha

EXTRAS

"just friend" music video: nanon sings two songs on the bad buddy soundtrack, and ohm sings one for our skyy 2, all of which have music videos, but i'm linking to this song of nanon's particularly because the music video its own story unrelated to the show at all! it's very cute and is basically an au where they are employees at the same hotel (and in love of course)

23.5 degrees the series: this is not technically related to bad buddy, but milk and love are going to be starring in gmmtv's first full-length gl, 23.5 degrees, which will be directed by "fon" kanittha kwunyoo (who i believe is a lesbian)! thai gls are just starting to get attention and backing by the major tv studios, and milklove's known chemistry from playing inkpa, as well as an exciting supporting cast and director, are making everyone super excited for this

there are also TONS of behind-the-scenes and making-of extras if you get into the show but i figured this was enough to start with :D

ANYWAY here are my surface level takes because as of right now, i have only watched wiege once (will watch more when i am stable enough to make a second post)

i've also been awake for like, 20 minutes at time of posting this, so half of my takes will be elaborated on/edited later when i'm conscious enough to know what i'm saying.

ACTUAL SPOILERS AHEAD

ok so i forgot mizi was wearing that outfit so there wasn't a timeskip, we're ignoring that part of my predictions post btw, it's very embarrassing, i'm a fake fan.

wiege gives the idea that luka is a clone way more credibility if we use the scene where he's covered in blood and standing around all those incubation chambers (possible?) and there are bodies strewn on the floor after he, stabbed them? but i can't tell yet whether the segyeins that took him were because this was all intentional and he was the 'victor' so he was put into anakt garden because statistically he seemed the most likely to come out on top then because of either what they think is his "sadism" or just his "skill" to be able to win against so many people.

i kind of thought luka was more likely to die but, with how mizi is the central focus and all the trauma goes to her, it makes a lot of sense that hyuna dies (also the stomach wound, my wife was not surviving that). in hindsight, luka's character arc is way more unfinished than hyuna's.

i'm not entirely sure based off my first watch but it looked like the segyeins were experimenting on luka and/or cloning him possibly.

mizi having flashbacks to sua and IVANTILL BEING MENTIONED IS CRAZY.

AND NOT THE FACT THAT THEY'VE NOW CANONISED THE ALTERNATE UNIVERSES WHERE THEY'RE HAPPY BECAUSE WHAT THE HELL DO YOU MEAN THAT THERE'S ANOTHER TIMELINE WHERE THEY DIDN'T GET HURT IN THIS WAY, unless it's meant to be in the way that this is what luka actually wanted. THE WEDDING RINGS ARE INSANE I CANNOT WITH THEM.

also the fact that ivan, till, mizi, and sua are HAPPY in another universe was just not necessary in a place where they cannot ever get to.

i KNEW that hyuna's feelings towards luka weren't pure hatred because of the official art where hyuna has heart eyes towards luka and he doesn't towards her.

HYUNA IMPARTING JACOB'S FINAL WORDS TO HER AND THEN TO LUKA??????????? but adapted because what they're being told is what they actually need to hear, hyuna who never forgave herself after hyunwoo and luka who doesn't think he has ever felt love in his entire life.

i genuinely don't know how to feel about how hyuna still had people after leaving alien stage (dewey, jacob, isaac, later mizi) but luka was just alone as soon as hyuna left.

i don't think luka killed hyunwoo because of that scene where hyuna is crying and luka leans on her as if trying to comfort her but being unable to because he doesn't fully understand the spectrum of human emotion and also due to the fact, he has probably never been comforted either.

either luka being attached to lots of wires is because he was being cloned OR he was being monitored after hyuna escaped alien stage.

i don't have any points on the song itself yet/lyrics because i don't know korean and i was more focused on the visual aspects during my first watch, but i'll have more thoughts today definitely.

I'm not a fan of Louis. I'm not a fan of their friendship or any relationship between the two of them, and I never was.

I was once a fan of 1D and liked all the other members as well, but when the band went their separate ways, I became a fan of Harry and Niall as solo artists. No one else.

2- I'm not a shipper of any kind

I want Harry (and Niall) to be happy doing whatever it is he chooses to do. I do think he wants to find love because he has alluded to it, so I'll always support his relationships and root for him in that regard, but I'm not someone who gets invested in his relationships. The only reason I'm talking about them is this project.

3- I do not own the truth.

The only people who know what happened, in terms of the band, their friendship, the relationships we'll discuss here, are those involved in them. I don't know anything for sure and don't claim to know it either. I try to be as factual as possible and stick to the things that are public knowledge, interpreting them in the best way possible. When I draw conclusions, I make sure to point out that they're educated guesses.

I don't think there's anything wrong with theorizing as long as you're respectful about it, not overly invasive, don't try to bend the truth to fit whatever bias you have, and accept it when you're proven wrong. If you get new information that contradicts a previously held belief, the correct reaction is to change that previously held belief, not sticking to it.

4- I never want to be invasive.

The information I'm working with is public knowledge and widely spread. I don't have access to private information and I wouldn't want it if it was made available to me anyway. My sources are pap and fan pics, social media, media outlets, interviews, and stuff like that. If anything I ever include is private, I promise you it's unintentional and I wasn't aware, and I'll appreciate it if you can point it out so I can exclude it (I don't think it's gonna happen because I'm careful to avoid that, but I'm not infallible).

There are also certain things I don't want to mess with, such as children and family issues. I may skirt around that sort of thing, and I hope you understand why.

5- The purpose of this is to shed light to parts of the truth Larries are lied about or omit.

In my years in fandom, I have met and talked to my fair share of ex Larries, and one thing most of them had in common was communicating that they felt like they were working with half-truths. The masterposts, the videos, the timelines, everything they read and consumed on Larry, was skewed, out of context, and used a lot of fallacies.

There used to be a lot of "anti" resources, but the blogs have been deleted, or privated, or flagged. Links have gone bad, pictures have been lost. Also, Larrie arguments have changed and evolved.

The point of these posts is a resource for both Larries who are willing to challenge their beliefs, leave the echo chamber, and look at the other side, and normal fans (I don't like the term "anti") who want or need tools to talk to Larries themselves.

And yes, part of that is their relationships. There are masterposts about some of them, for sure, but they have a very shippy tone that doesn't really... work. I don't judge people who "ship" real people. I don't get it, but I don't judge it. I just don't think that sort of content would help in this context.

6- Why do I hate the word "anti"?

Well, I hate it because I don't like my space in fandom being defined by what I'm not, especially considering "what I'm not" is a believer on a conspiracy theory. I'm a normal fan. Any normal fan who doesn't believe in a conspiracy theory would by default be an anti, because it's not positive or fun or good for your favorite artist or their loved ones to be the subject of this sort of thing. There's no such thing as "neutral." It also impacts fandom spaces quite negatively. Almost every person who has fans that do this has spoken against it in one way or another.

If you care about an artist and you don't buy into whatever conspiracy theory has been cooked up about them, then you're most likely gonna be against it.

7- Why am I spending time doing this?

Because I find the human brain fascinating. I find the system of beliefs in conspiracies to be both terribly frustrating and utterly intriguing. I want to explore what makes people believe this sort of thing and find the best ways to dismantle it (all the while knowing I'm unlikely to succeed, but enjoying the process regardless).

I also really enjoy talking about pop culture in general. I've been a fan (of Harry's and other artists) since I was a literal child, and I retain information pretty easily, so putting it all down feels a bit like emptying my brain, a little bit like a relief. Of course, that regardless of how well I retain information, there are a lot of things that are common knowledge that I'm simply not gonna know or remember, and it gives me another type of "relief" to reveal a previously held blind spot, so doing research for this project has been fun.

It's not that fun to put it into words, and that's the part I struggle with the most, which is why this might take forever to complete.

Gosh I used to respond to every one, but it just got to be too difficult, and I got out of the habit. I still feel guilty about it. Now, if I get a really nice one on AO3, I'll respond though.

6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

I think the last fic I wrote (Birthday Party) was probably the angstiest, both in ending and throughout, but I could be forgetting some along the way!

7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

Oh geez, most of them have happy endings, as a great majority of what I write is smut! Maybe It's a Brand New Day, since the timeline on that is current (baby #2), and it paints a positive picture of their future going forward.

8. Do you get hate on fics?

I don't remember that I ever have, so I count myself lucky!

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

Does Mulder like sunflower seeds? Does Scully have Daddy issues? YES, I definitely write smut, almost exclusively. But it comes in all forms- sometimes dirty, sometimes angsty, sometimes fluffy, sometimes humorous, etc. etc. I write it in all forms.

10. Do you write crossovers? What’s the craziest one you’ve written?

No, and I honestly don't really enjoy reading them either.

I do seem to remember someone asking permission to translate a couple fics of mine a long time ago.

Meg (@msrafterdark) and I started with the thought of cowriting a fic about different points of the relationship where Mulder has spanked Scully, but we never really got it off the ground lol. Though I did release a portion that I wrote here.

15. What’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

Ugh, I started a fic many months ago about the two of them trapped in a closet together, but my interest in it has kind of fizzled out. So I don't know if I will finish it or not. Sigh.

16. What are your writing strengths?

I think I can write poetically and do beautiful things with words, and that makes me happy!

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

I am a sloooowwwww writer. Which means I don't do well with involved plots, etc, because then I'd never finish anything!

Not sure if I've ever had a specific kinda plot I wanted to do. But I have had vague ideas for stuff I'd like. Such as the idea of writing both Jin & Abaddon interacting with somebody at once... as separate individuals rather than one body. Dunno how this would work! Considering they're forever confined to themselves... maybe somehow somebody got into Jin's head? Dunno! But it's something I wouldn't mind doing!

Another thing I wouldn't mind doing is more threads set in the past. Just 'cos... Jin & Abaddon are kinda chill now LMAO. Jin's no longer suicidal and Abaddon's no longer a cunt. They're just kinda Living now. Which is fine... there is stuff to explore with that; such as them adjusting to a Normal Life, Abaddon dealing with guilt and what he used to be, them learning to actually coexist, Jin dealing with his trauma. But like... shit just doesn't cut as deep as Suicidal Self-Hating Jin and Remorseless Monster Abaddon, y'know? When I'd have threads before TK8, it felt like I had a lot more threads that were "deeper" y'know? Now it seems like I have a lot more slice of life / fluff threads. Which makes sense given they're current position. But like I said... I'd like some deep, angst-ridden stuff too!!! These two need to stop being happy, dammit!! lol!

TK6 Abaddon is a verse I often write in! Which is really cool 'cos that timeline really fleshes Abaddon out. Most of the threads I do with that timeline is set whilst Jin is still "completely gone." I would like to do a thread set a little later during Abaddon's reign, when Jin was starting to "return". Because that just puts a LOT of stress on Abaddon, and it would be interesting to see if some muses are successful in "reaching" Jin.

This one is really self-indulgent and I'll probs just write a drabble for it. But like... I wouldn't mind the idea of Jun meeting Abaddon when he was a kid. Just because it was Old Lore (that's safe to say has been retconned I'm sure) that Jun would fight off Devil during her pregnancy, so that he doesn't possess Fetus Jin LMAO. But since that is noncanon to my blog, and likely no longer canon in the actual lore - I'd like to come up with an alternative. Perhaps a scene where Jin tells Jun about a "dream buddy" he's been seeing, and Jun knowing about Kazuya's situation, she assumes this must be the devil Jin was born with. So one night whilst Jin is sleeping, she places her hand on Jin's head, and is able to spiritually meet the little devil. To her surprise, the devil also takes form of a child... and well, how are you gonna fight a little kid? The conflict it brings Jun would be interesting... would she try to fight off this spirit, or try to show it compassion?

There are probs other more things... but my brain is drawing a complete blank on what else I would've want! Other than the obvs of getting to write with other Tek characters that haven't had blogs yet... (at least not in my time of writing Jin!)
