I'm thinking about this once again. Sky was sacrificed for Viktor's ambition; Silco was sacrificed to his love for Jinx. Their devotion resulted in self sacrifice but it was borne from love because they wanted to save those they were losing. We all know Viktor was losing himself in research succumbing to his obsession and willing to give his life, but to be sure, Jinx was losing herself as well, in her head and to her visions. Silco saw this, and still, he loved her, called her perfect. Part of me thinks there is something peaceful, going at the hand of someone you love. For someone you love.

Thinking about the line of devotion that goes from Sky, to Viktor, to Jayce, to Mel, to Ambessa. The line of devotion that goes from Sevika, to Silco, to Jinx, to Vi, to Caitlyn. In some ways, it is all about how the love given is always more than the love and loyalty received.

I love the recurring and extremely crucial character detail that even when ye Zimu flies into a berserker state/mindless rage - even when he instinctively destroys any threats, even when he hurts other people in that state! - he never hurts ling chen.

ye zimu literally Crushes the assassin and rips apart her robot with his bare hands, he destroys the weapons and even the security camera, he breaks the laser on ling chen's wrist that ling chen himself JUST shot him with.

but he stops before ling chen's wrist is injured.
