I've apparently made an error in my calculations. XD

I was mulling over some things in my head about future plot stuff, did some math, and it turns out that with Gwen's current lifespan, she'd already be in her last year of life in the time frame of certain events that I need her present in, sooo that simply wont do. I know I've previously stated that in my universe, Gardevoir only live up to 20 years, buuut due to future plot times and certain events, I'm extending Gwen's lifespan to 30 years so she gets an extra ten.

I'm sure this probably brings some relief for you guys cause I know the majority of you were distraught with the thought of Gwen's life being so short. My whole idea behind it was that most animals, especially domestic animals, usually live shorter lives than wild animals. I figured in taking an approach with more realism, domestic pokemon would be similar, like how most dogs or cats only live to 15-20 years. (though some can surpass the standard lifespan by a couple of years). But now it's extended to 30, so Mewtwo, Amber, and the others get to keep her around a little longer, lol. X3

I am slowly getting access to SecondLife again. I am absolutely loving my cybernetic upgrades!! And some new outfits! Now I just need a skin thats solid caramel honey brown/tan instead of pale buckskin. That may need to be custom..

While he was a little weary of Misaki being involved with anything involving Hope's Peak... well, he couldn't be upset, not when she was so excited.

"I-I see that... ya excited for your first day?"

"I think so. Hehe, I'm going to be spending time with really cool kids... I can't wait!"

He can only sigh as he makes a note to get her something nice for after school.

"All right, 'll make sure ya got everythin' packed up 'fore your first day, then... hope ya make some real good friends..." And nothing happens to you.

Story Time: Meet Danica and Dale

Dale, a young orphan surviving on the streets of Copperdale, found himself in a tough situation. Moving from family to family due to his aggressive nature, he eventually ended up on the streets, making a living by scavenging abandoned homes and other places. One fateful evening, he stumbled upon an ill Danica. Despite her sharp fangs, he couldn't bring himself to leave her side. Their eyes met, and he was instantly smitten, feeling like he was "lost for words."

After a few minutes of attempting to communicate with her, all Dale received in response were soft murmurs and her shaking head, accompanied by gestures towards her mouth. It became clear to Dale that she was unable to speak. Faced with this new challenge, he felt unsure of what to do next. However, just as he was contemplating his options, she mustered enough strength to type a message on her phone: "Need animal blood." Dale couldn't help but find the request slightly amusing, considering they were standing in the middle of a sidewalk where no animals could be found. With a stroke of brilliance, he suggested that she could feed off him instead. Instantly, she rejected the idea, even after he reassured her that it would be alright. However, after a couple of minutes, she realized she had no other choice. Summoning all her strength, she positioned herself as he presented his neck. The moment she caught a whiff of his intoxicating scent, she didn't hesitate to sink her fangs into his flesh. He let out a groan, a mixture of pain and pleasure, until everything faded to black.

Suddenly, he found himself waking up in a luxurious, well-decorated room with a tearful Danica sitting beside him. The opulence of the room was a bit too much for his liking. Strangely, he felt a strong urge for blood. Danica finally noticed he was awake and flashed him a wide smile, wiping away her tears. He couldn't help but wonder if she was crying because of him. His cheeks flushed with embarrassment. "He's alive…I see," a voice echoed from across the room. A woman with medium-length white hair and piercing white eyes sat there, looking quite intimidating. "I would be relieved, but I don't appreciate my granddaughter bringing strays into my mansion…especially mortals," she growled, extinguishing her cigarette before approaching them. "However, since she mentioned that you played a part in saving her life…I suppose I owe you my gratitude." He nodded silently, unsure of what to say.

Edith Lnyx introduced herself with a sense of detachment, but she still engaged in a conversation with him. When Dale confessed that he had nowhere to go, Danica looked at Edith with a sorrowful expression. Edith could have easily dismissed the idea of living with a mortal or feeling indebted to anyone. However, she couldn't bring herself to refuse her beloved girl. As fate would have it, Dale and Danica grew even closer while living under the same roof, eventually becoming lovers. To their surprise, Danica accidentally turned Dale into a vampire by consuming enough of his blood. She felt guilty, but he reassured her that everything was alright. Despite his new vampire lifestyle, he was content as long as he could stay by her side, embracing her vampnemia. He proudly wore her bite mark and demonstrated his devotion every single day.

The character creation demo unfortunately doesn’t have all items, for example no short skirts.

I will need some time to warm up to the characters. Thinking back to the last (more minor) character update, we were way more negative than the update deserved in hindsight because every change will feel weird at first.

i made changes ( not over complicate his design so much. ) on his fur patterns + his colorful tail and double tails , reduced the number of the mini chains on his clothes and most noticable change is Dasan has now bat ears ( making Nuru as the only of the siblings who doesn't heir bat ears ).

The aftermath:

character updates following the Halloween Event and the earthquake.

Cardelle has been busy helping with the relief efforts. Knowing he's not the smartest but can take direction well, he's helping mostly with the construction side of things, putting those stupidly large muscles to good use.

Dodger has been at home looking after Jay, not leaving her side while Phoenix is working. In terms of her memory issues, he's following Phoenix's lead, letting him explain things in his own time and acting as the moral support as he always does.

Falco has been homebound, metal piercing his shoulder during the quake after he pushed Vincent out of the way of falling debris, keeping him pinned there until rescue. Vincent stayed with him until then and has come to visit him most days to check his recovery. They also may have kissed because Falco was convinced he was gonna die, but they've yet to talk about it.

Floyd has been taking care of the residents at Sunnyside as normal, but is making moves behind the scenes to get his plan for complete mayoral leadership over Huntsville in action. He's also not completely happy with how the Commune has these random newbies taking up important positions, and he's voicing these complaints, but his focus remains the town. If he can get the Town, he can get the Commune after.

Hunter to no one's surprise has been sulking since the earthquake. His friendship with Mo is pretty much on the rocks (thread incoming) and his relationship with Val now feels non-existent, so he doesn't really have anyone he can go to. So if people feel like they haven't seen the little bleach blond bastard for a while, they haven't. But he's thinking he may pursue one of the other storylines the town has to offer and hopefully have some fun along the way.

Kane I think is pissed right now. Given the state of the town and how many injured folk there are, people don't care about the Fight Club at the moment, and people aren't coming to train with him as much while they focus on fixing their homes and healing their wounds. So he's helping out with some of the fixing where he can, but he's probably falling back on some old vices just to keep himself sane in the meantime.

Ric my poor boy, after spending a lot of the time with Peyton he's now back at his place, but she comes to visit him often. The leg he twisted a few week prior to Halloween is the one that got injured the most and it's strapped up in a makeshift leg brace. He's supposed to be resting but is adamant he should help with rebuilding the town, so if you see him out and about, no you didn't. He's also experiencing bad headaches but he's not telling anyone about that.

Sycamore remains as miserable than ever, has yet to check on how Spencer is doing and is more interested in getting sympathy for her own minor injuries. She seems more and more interested in the crack that was formed by the quake, hearing the stories of ghosts coming up from within it. Lots of thinking going on in this corner of the Commune.
