Wobbly hearts is so so good and made me cry so bad I love them all sm. It brings me a sort of comfort I can’t describe, so thank you very much to the author for an amazing fic!!! Also I drew this before I saw the official designs so that’s why they look off!

Shout out to my girl Ningxue I love her sm

She’s a lemur!! She’s the reincarnation for one of my ocs (De Wenyi) and she absolutely hates that fact and will ignore it for the end of time thank you kindly.

She’s extremely flexible due to being a dancer (silk/aerial dancing was her specialty) before converting to becoming a bounty hunter.

Much like her predecessor, she’s genderless (she/he) and has two forms depending on her mood/feel for the day. Masc some days, fem other days, the usual. It’s interesting to explore that part of her since only a handful of my ocs have the ability to just.. do that. But it will change. Because I am genderfluid and I think that’s fun.

She was made for an AU I’m working on with Knox—but I got so attached to her she might be a little, silly permanent OC—who knows!

Much like lemurs he likes to sunbathe, can purr and chirp—and she has some indri lemur in her so she’s adapt at singing too, haha.

She also loves the cold due to her namesake and, gosh, she adores traveling to find new places to settle down. It’s insane. She likes moving to safer areas. Wonder why.

Hair Glamor

Happy birthday, @ninja-knox-ur-sox-off! Got inspired by your burnt marshmallow Sun Wukong to make this little fic. It's not about Wukong's burns but it is about something else.

“What happened to your hair?”

When they first met, Sun Wukong had long hair. DBK could still remember investigating that giant monkey to find a tiny monkey with amber curls spilling across his shoulders as he retied them back into a messy bun. Later, after…everything and he had finally seen his sworn brother again, DBK had been startled to see that mane cut short. Back then, however, he had been distracted by the theft of his wife’s fan and then his son’s flames were growing out of control.

Now, however…

“What?”

They were sitting together, tea steaming between them, watching the trio of children below. Normally, DBK wouldn’t be here, but his son had insisted. In flashes of gold, the little thief dodged his son’s flames and the dragon girl’s jade sword. DBK winced as the staff gleamed before Red Son was knocked back. His red coat gleamed as he managed to somersault and launch an attack back. The little thief ducked and burst out laughing before he had to dodge an electric green blast.

“Your hair,” DBK said. Welp. He had said it, might as well go with it. “You were very proud of it.” He eyed Wukong’s amber fur. “I was wondering why you cut it.”

“Oh!” The monkey reached up and fiddled with the weird little feather cap. He pulled it off and set it on his lap. “I, uh…I cut it after meeting Sanzang. It felt right.”

DBK cocked his head. The monk had passed away centuries before he was sealed away, if he remembered right. “And now?”

“Well, hey!” Wukong’s grin was strained as he flexed his hand. The glint of a glamor faded and slowly, as if waiting years and years to fall, long amber curls fell down his back. DBK leaned away, cupping his tea protectively, blinking at the length and Wukong chuckled. “I forgot how smart you are!” He reached up and fiddled with a strand, not looking at him. “Yeah. I grew it out. I mean, I figured that, hey, it’s my hair and nobody cares anyway…”

This was strange.

It felt like he had stepped on a sore spot. DBK had thought when he got Wukong to look like that, shy and nervous and ground down, that there would be a feeling of victory. A sign of defeat from the simian. Instead, however…

The asshole.

The asshole, still determined to cling to him.

“Can I braid it?”

Wukong blinked. “What?”

DBK cleared his throat and set aside his tea. “May I braid your hair?” he asked, trying for a more authoritative tone. It was weird, talking to Wukong like this again, but he was a king. He was not nervous.

Wukong blinked. “Do you… know how to braid?”

“Of course, I know how to braid!” DBK huffed. “I know you prefer your monkeys to mess with your hair. If that’s your concern-”

“No, no, no!” Wukong whirled around. “It’s fine. You can braid it!” For a moment, he sounded like his old self again, bright and cheerful. DBK huffed in satisfaction as he gently scooped up the amber curls.

(He did not ask about the grey staining the edges, nor the scar surrounding Wukong’s forehead. Instead, he focused on the feeling of Wukong relaxing into his fingers.

That was more important.)
