I won’t claim it to be perfect but GD their tagging and filtering system is one of the GREATEST. Ever. I’ve been thoroughly spoiled tbh 🤣

You can sort it by the latest updated fics, to the most hits (have the most viewership), the most kudos (most Likes basically), most wordcount (lmfao be prepared to see some lengthy novellas there),to most comments, to have the most Bookmarks (my preference tbh since that usually means it’s so good readers keep coming back to read it again!), etc etc.

Then you can filter it further by what category or tags you want to Include and/or Exclude!

You find smutty works especially with Non-Consensual content— icky or triggering, you can filter it out! You want to see Crossovers between certain show/book/movie together just type it in the little search bar there! You’re afraid to find a particularly good read leaving you in a cliffhanger because it hasn’t been updated is in 5 years? Filter them out by reading Completed works only. (*mutters* Cowards. (Jkjk ✌🏼🤣))

tv shows i've watched in 2023 ⇢ THE MIDNIGHT CLUB (2022)

And I don't know, it might be lame, but I started with the Atari 7800 and I haven't missed a beat. NES, Genesis, Super Nintendo. And I'm not going to play the PlayStation. It comes out in September. That's like eight months from now. Not going to play the Nintendo 64. That's not out until next year. Yeah, it's, it's lame, I guess, um… But that hurts, man. That's all. And I know there's stuff I should mourn more. I'm probably going to lose a lot. My sight, my motor function, my memory, my life. But yeah, the PlayStation is on my mind, and it makes me mad and it sucks.

I finally had my wedding that was centered around the works of @flanaganfilm. I wanted to take as much as I could from all his shows but I could only focus on three of the shows: Haunting of Hill House, Haunting of Bly Manor, and Fall of the House of Usher (with the mask and Bachelorette party last week).

I also played songs from the shows as well as creepy music box music to fit the vibes. I got a lot of compliments about this wedding, which makes me very happy! I’ll post more pics later!

Hi Mike! Are you a big Twin Peaks fan (this is mostly rhetorical as I've found great creatives are and I figured you'd be anyway)? What was the process like of bringing Russ Tamblyn to Hill House? I was so thrilled to see him pop up, do you have any other TP actors you'd like to work with or have attempted to include in your projects?

Hey there! I am a Twin Peaks fan, but I wanted to bring Russ into the show because of Robert Wise's The Haunting ('63).

Russ played Luke in the very first adaptation of Shirley Jackson's novel. The character was of course very different from the one we presented in the series, but as one of the only living actors from that amazing movie, I really wanted extend the invitation. Russ was retired when we approached him, but the chance to return to Hill House appealed to him and I was elated when he said he'd join us. He was only on set for one day, but it was a remarkable day. We made sure to allow time to sit at his feet and listen to his stories about working with Wise, and about his experience with The Haunting (though I peppered him questions about West Side Story for at least half an hour). It was a great honor for me to give him a tour of our set, and watch him light up as he recognized the overlapping elements (he particularly liked the spiral staircase).

I most remember him being on set with Victoria. Early in the day of their scenes together, he asked her what she had done before this. "This is my first job," she said. He smiled and said "That's fantastic. I think this is my last job." It was a surreal experience, and one of the brightest points of that production for me. It was an honor to bring Russ Tamblyn back to Hill House.
