man, you know, nobody asked me, but I have such conflicting opinions on some of the fat falin art, where on one hand: it's always nice to see A Fat Body in fanart anywhere + it's being done in positive ways, for funsies and on the other hand, there is something so familiar about how you are automatically The Fat One if you are a woman simply standing next to a more petite woman, bc I've had a 0% hitrate in seeing people change Marcille's body type and keep Falin's, or change both of them. it's just Falin

#it gives me a negative feeling that I seldom/never get from seeing fat art which is rare #like she's not fat out of thin air For Fun And No Other Reason and she's not fat bc of context #(out of thin air being like just picking a character you like and changing their design just cuz. Kabru maybe.)#(and Because Of Context being the way ppl draw fat Usagi from sailor moon. which i have been meaning to do btw)#but rather she's fat just bc to be Not the thinnest woman in the room is to be fat. like it happens specifically by scale #because marcille is so much physically smaller and petite and falin is bigger in the ways that a Human Woman is bigger #than an elf woman #and it's funny bc it's something i see all the time already #people also really don't seem to have an interest in making marcille butch in fanart in a way #that is sort of sad for me bc it's like ah well she's the thin small one so of course she gets to be feminine #if you're physically bigger then of course you get to be masc of course of course of course...#i also love good butch art esp fat butch stuff but this is about the phenomenon where if you're with #a thinner shorter woman then that means you're the butch now which is a place I have been to #and I did not like it there #I think part of why That sticks it to me is bc marcille has such a Butch Girlfriend personality and falin acts so demure LMAO #but she's slightly bigger so the writing is on the wall #sergle.txt #Godspeed to you if you choose to read these thoughts in bad faith bc I can't give you more clarifying statements if I try #like I said. conflicting feelings #i don't know if anyone else has similar thoughts it May Just Be Me #I don't think ppl think about this stuff when they make their fan redesigns but it gives me a certain feeling

KFM: Are there any lineage-based surnames or is it just based on the background? JE: So surnames in this game are entirely based on your background choice. The reason for this is we do reference your surname in dialogue, a not inconsiderable amount, and we didn't, at a certain point it becomes unsustainable in terms of how many different variations, so. We reference it based on your surnames, sorry, your background.

I feared this might be the case after thinking about why it makes sense that there likely would be no "subraces". But damn 😭

when the other two rogue traders are fighting each other the lord inquisitor has pretty much declared martial law the cultists are attacking every system at once and spreading too quickly the aeldari and humans continue at each other's throats as usual and there are another 20 fires you have to put out personally but your drukhari bf is bored and decides to act cute by provoking and openly challenging your authority in front of another rogue trader

I'm actually rather surprised that not a single one of the boys made top three. but then again, I suppose the large number of straight men that play this game are not as visible in fan spaces as us lgbt. That is...a fortunate thing, though, I'd argue.

#bg3 #thoughts about media #with how much you see of a certain little elf- I figured he'd make the top three. but I see I figured wrong!#the top classes do not surprise me at all.#I take great interest in strategy when it comes to dbd. so I pay the same attention to strategy in bg3.#the top three classes are some of the best classes to choose for combat.#theeeen the choices stray back into RP territory.#rogue has it's uses...but less so than warlock I'd argue.#I'd say wizard and cleric are stronger than rogue too.#hell. I multiclass star into wizard once he's gotten his lvl 3 thief perks. in part for tav lore reasons. in part to maximise his strengths #stealth just isn't consistent enough in this game to pay off. in my opinion.#like the best classes I'd say are sorcerer / paladin / bard / warlock.#fighter is good for multiclassing to gain action surge. and multiclassing into war/tempest cleric can be useful too.#but fully levelling either seems pointless imo.#the race choices are 100% because of RP reasons. the stats do not whatsoever show any influence from min/maxing stats and abilities.#if that were the case. half-orc would be the top. halfing. and drow. I think duegar is good too?#tiefling being up there isn't actually TOO bad either. they are decent for mage classes.#CANNOT believe evoker wizard is the most popular though. other subclasses have better perks imo.#I also think thief is the best subclass of rogue. extra bonus action? and falling damage reduction/cannot fall prone from falling? SO good.#also my sincere congrats to the 464 maniacs who've already destroyed honour mode. you people are bananas.
