Bad news: That joke post about including Reset + Orchid is definitely not canon. (I legit got sad thinking about Reset being in a universe where Orchid isn't- because their stories are so so intertwined- but Nightmare 100% would NOT risk the whole twins exploding Error's soul thing.)

Good news: This means I COULD include Kane (Reset's older brother who usually dies in timelines where Reset is born) and use it to develope his character a bit more! Also! Perhaps a Blue × Dream kiddo is finally in the stars for me to design?

On one hand, I want a final fantasy 6 remake, because the game is criminally underrated and the amount of fan content (which is all absolutely fantastic btw) is Not Enough for my neurodivergent, hyperfixating brain.

On the other hand, that would inevitably encourage more people to join the fandom, which would be great, except it seems these days the bigger a fandom gets the more toxic it becomes, and I really like what we have going on over here in our little corner. We all just love the game and its characters and nobody fights about who should and shouldn't date who or who you shouldn't like because they're ~problematique~. Nobody's trying to make one ship morally better than another, nobody's calling anyone names or threatening to doxx people who don't agree with their opinions. It's so peaceful and I love that for us. We're just vibing. Moisturized. Unbothered. In our lane. Flourishing.

rodney and jennifer 😂 although i think if jennifer's character was written to be an actual character instead of The Hot Trophy For Rodney i probably would've liked the ship way more, but as it is they don't even seem to like each other???? also unless it's in the context of ot4 i can't do john/teyla idk why i don't know what it is (especially since john is such a slut and so easy to ship with anyone????) but it just feels very Wrong to me idk

all that being said tho all it takes is the right headcanon or fic/idea to get me obsessed with a ship so who knows maybe one day i'll ship mckeller and john/teyla!

I’m not a huge elmaxer but I do think it’s fairly cute and whatever, but… if u ship elmax and dont ship lumax…..! idk there seems to be a trend of ignoring a well written, super cute and enjoyable mixed/poc m/f ship in favor of a bland, mega whatever they-touched-once white on white queer ship, under the pretense that you can just be like “oh i just dont like m/f ships theyre boring” :/ like. lumax is so much more interesting than elmax im sorry, elmax is cute and i think el probably had a crush on max at somepoint, but the lumax dynamic, “do you accept the risk”, “I like talking with you, stalker.”, “i disappeared / no you didnt, i just didn’t look hard enough”, “movie friday?”, just everything about them will always beat elmax?? its weird so many of you are so quick to ship el and max and put them alongside byler (ignoring the canon byler/lumax parallels and double date!) claiming that m/f ships are boring and queer ones are better, while ships like byclair or henclair are rarely talked about by the same crowd. it smells like racism!

jonathan/eddie makes me so sick (POSITIVE!) because in the magical fantastical self indulgent world i have created in my brain in which they were in each others periphery since childhood and only really got close in the background while things were getting tense in jonathan's life is something that can be SO personal. eddie has to move in with wayne after middle school? jonathan finds his way to his new trailer whenever he can, it's muscle memory by the time he comes back to hawkins. lonnie fucks off from the byers? jonathan and eddie spend the night near castle byers writing a list of all the bands they're gonna see when they gain more independence. eddie loiters around the photography club (never participates or engages, just lurks) when jonathan moves to california. that kinda stuff
