it's cold and it’s almost winter here which means i'm thinking about the 141 boys wrapping up warm while they're on leave back in the uk.

specifically im thinking about how each of them already have statement headwear (except soap), so its easy to imagine what they might swap to; thick beanie for price like we've seen before, ghost probably has a thicker balaclava meant for snowboarding to keep out the chill, and gaz would stay inside in his flat - warm and cosy because why the fuck would he venture out when it's snowing? - his cap firmly still in place on his head, blanket wrapped tight around his shoulders.

soap though? close knit family like his, there's no way he's not been given a handmade hat each year when he visits his gran. and given how naturally johnny mactavish can fall into being a little shit in any given situation, there's not a chance it's not learnt behaviour passed down from generations before, so i think his gran would have fun with her knitting.

which brings me to johnny's hat the year after he shaved in his mohawk:

Who do y'all think Time'll handcuff to him be with for his group in the dungeon? I've seen a lot of people say he will try to control who goes with who since he's scared for their lives rn (valid)

I think that unlike when they split in the Divine Dark Reflections arc, they might try to stay in bigger groups, and I think Time would probably want to have as many close to him as possible (his group have three or four), but I uhh didn't know how to incorporate that.

It's silly, but right now I can't stop imagining a scene where they reach the central room and everyone sprints off into the groups they want before time can argue.

Anyone who goes with legend will survive physically and anyone who goes with four will survive mentally.

what all this analysis reminds me of:

Day & Night (2010)

Something something about the brothers being called Night and Day, which are two things that effectively don't co-exist. It is either night(time) or it is day(time). They never occur in the same moment. The brothers won't ever find common ground or be on the same page...and sometimes that's what it's like with siblings. Despite the dna they share, despite growing up together and having the same nature and nurturing, they will always be strangers to each other and can't really be there for the other. And now I really understand their animosity...and how lonely it is for both of them. They're each a foreign entity to the other, whom they touch the edges of but can never be fully immersed into their world.

Edit: @kayatoasted made a brilliant observation about how this might also tie into the title of the series, since twilight is the meeting of day and night, the transition from one to the other...I need to ponder on this for a while.

Im gonna speak my truth and say that Song Taewon, Han Yoojin, and Sung Hyeonje would be in a throuple w Song Taewon there by request of both Han Yoojin & Sung Hyeonje. They would probably be the most toxic throuple ever but I think they'd balance each other out.
