ALSO: I was overwhelmed with the positive reaction to my FF8 inspired Zelda and Hero's shade reunion. Seems like the Internet loves bittersweet angst as much as i do. And YES, there's a sequel in progress ;) I was already drawing it when i posted my first batch of panels.

in honor of kakashis birthday i thought i might as well finally release my half finished mini concept of "inverse lost tower where baby kakashi comes to hang out with shippuden era team 7. Badly" because obviously baby kakashi seeing his older self have relationships and happiness that baby kks doesnt think he can or deserves to have pisses him off on such a fundamental level hes so filled with rage he barely knows what to do with himself. not to mention that adult kakashis general outward lackadaisical demeanor also makes him angry because how can they have gone through all the same things and yet he still doesnt take anything seriously etc etc u already know all this. regardless the issue more than anything else was that im not much of a writer so i could never get the words to feel right so it'll probably stay unfinished forever, but take these anyways

BG3 greater fanbase is...not very kind to larian ngl...the fact that people threw enough of a fit to have Alfira become a (temporary) companion is so wild to me.

i dont understand the growing desire to have this game have 100% every single thing ever. it sounds like to me some of these people should just play actual DnD? if you don't have a party then you can run it yourself and make one...idk

i hate seeing game devs bending over backwards for changes ultimately making the game...worse lol

i finished my family tree for corlys/house velaryon/dragon twins AND i used that to solidify one for my “freya hightower” au which i decided to combine with my “ned finds out he has magical kids” au for shits and giggles. Catelyn deserves a crazy Hightower mom to queen out with alright!

why are cishet women so bad at writing how women's bodies work. actually im fascinated with romance novels by and for cishet women especially when they use a male POV like the female MC is always a blatant self-insert but she's cardboard and personality-less whereas the author actually identified more heavily with the man whose POV is there to validate her & all the female readers who want to be admired as he admires miss cardboard. but it's literally a woman admiring herself like it's dumbo's feather you're freeeeeeee... but also something about how heterosexual desire is so dehumanising it turns every relationship between two individuals who happen to be A Man and A Woman into a shorthand for all relationships between all Men and Women so these characters aren't even remotely interesting in the way that symbolic representations are necessary much more simplistic

I know not every character deserves a redemption arc per se but if Bioware can take my most beloved and sympathetic characters and paint them out to be evil and unforgivable then I can take all of their most vile and backwards characters and make them grow and develop and learn from their misdeeds instead of having them condoned and glorified by the narrative, right???

Not forgiving or excusing them, not even "redeeming" them in many cases,but making them look at and confront their actions head and work to change themselves and clean up their messes with no real benefit to themselves.
