Yo so uh. Beware of a possible discord scam thats going around that is called 'verify and shame' bc it looks sketchy ad hell and now im yella worried abt the safety of my acct bc it was sent to me through an acct of an old friend???
It starts w/ something about 'hey this person who had your same acc tname and profile said this they did this awful stuff and so I'm blocking you until you can going to this server and verify that it wasn't you' so i couldnt even message this friend anymore to tell them that their acct couldve been hacked
(I blame the fact that i just woke up and was rly out of it for why I actually checked out the link, bc it was an actual server but the setters were set up with only one channel called 'verify' and no one was allowed to type in it even though there were like 2000 members to the channel already.)
So uh. Yeah. Beware.

zadie as a jay girly on tumblr who struggles to find fics for him sometimes, i agree with you!! ive expressed this in a prior ask and to other blogs too, there’s not enough jay fics!! there’s so many writers that have jay in their bias line but never post about him whether it’s just pics or putting out fics for him. there’s a shortage of smaus and long fics for him especially. but ig bc it’s how u said people will beg for it but then not interact. it’s so sad at times because he’s literally straight out of a romance movie and as i’ve said before he fits so many diff tropes. there are days where ill go to his smut tags and nothing is added to it for days or its mostly stuff for other members. but there’s always something new on the other members tags. like hello jay is so sexy please give me smut i beg!!!
i don’t really reblog because i am just a reader on tumblr and don’t want anyone to find my acc, but i def will try to because ik writers love that way more. but when there is jay content omg i put it in my likes right away. i usually also send my feedback through anon and tell them i loved it! there’s this one jay fic that’s an absolute masterpiece but only has like 200ish notes. which isn’t bad but i swear it deserves like 3,000+. maybe i’ll send the link in another ask if you’re interested in reading it. it’s a fake dating/kind of rich kid/college au! it also features other idols and i swear i read it like once every three months.
ik it’s not that deep but this whole thing kind of extends over to sfw/non fic related content on twitter too. i feel like sometimes he doesn’t get the hype he deserves and it breaks my heart cause jay has expressed that he’s not super confident in himself. i just hope he knows he’s very very loved. i remember there was a time a lot of the jay update accounts that had 10k+ followers started selling their accounts to some random crypto/nft bots and stuff and it was so sad. i don’t play about jay, im not normal about him i just want him to know that we love him so much MY BABYYYY 😭😭😭
- 🐥
no no please spak your truth because ive been dyinggg to talk about this and im glad im not the only one who noticed 🫣 i absolutely agree with everything you said and after talking to mutuals about this i realised just how sad this makes me because jay really is a great person and writing him is SO easy bc you have such a great base to work with if that makes sense 🤕 i really genuinely hope people will start appreciating his content more bc its so little and deserves just as much love and interaction as the other boys' content🥺

Does anybody wanna do an in depth analysis of my art /j
MAN Idk I just wonder how many people notice the patterns/details/references and stuff in my art like. A lot of my (object OC) art is lore-related.
I feel like most of the OSC centers around shows. And then comics. And then probably art, and writing by itself is likely last.
Idk I like to think there’s somebody who sees and understands what I post idk. I think it’s fun to add details and emotion to my posts. I feel like for me it’s easier to tell a story (and more fun) by adding a bunch of details to a collection of images rather than making comics of everything that happened ever or writing it out. I wouldn’t say I’m a terrible writer, it just bores me pretty quick and it isn’t as easy to write while listening to music as drawing. Comics just feel annoying because it feels like a bunch of things being repeated over and over instead of just adding more detail to a single thing.
Of course, I do have most plot related stuff written somewhere, some way or another. I’ve got two google sites, a world anvil, a toyhouse, and an archive website. Many many google docs, notes on my phone, notes on my iPad, Instagram. Tons of information in tons of different places. I hope to put all of it onto the archive website eventually.
But I like having posts of everything. Let people figure it out themselves if they want to yknow.
A lot of this doesn’t super apply here though since I mainly post on Instagram (@ gears.electric) (more is on my old acc though @ rhino_is)
But I think the easiest way to navigate my art is through the archive I made if anybody does wanna look!! You don’t need to do anything idec whether you look at it or not but if you want to look at my art but don’t know where to start, this has ONLY my object oc art, which means you don’t have to scroll through irrelevant stuff to find it. It’s organized by years and months, all chronological. Comics are in separate sections depending on how canon they are. It currently only has art from 2018-2022 (not including humanized art) but I hope to add the rest eventually.
So yeahhhh. Also I don’t mind if people ask questions because my object OCs are one of my main interests right now and I love talking about them =]

hello I am back with an analysis, it is currently 6:57 so there will be no spoilers, instead I’d like to discus why I think that the new video is the fanale and how Thomas was ale to drum up hype for the video in a really great way specifically for the fandom.
I was talking about this to a friend and why I’m certain that it’s the finale, no matter what the video is I will be posting this because fuck you I can and because I want to go into marketing so this is pretty cool for me.
so first is obviously the youtooz, people are saying it’ll just be an ad for the sanders sides youtooze plushies.
Now why won’t it be, that’s pretty simple, sure just an ad is bound to get a lot of views and sell a lot of plushies especially because of FOMO
but if it’s at the end or probably the beginning of the finale that’s even better, everyone has been waiting for the finale, everyone will watch the finale, of all his videos sanders sides has the most views the last one (not asides svs) has 2.2 million views currently with recent videos all getting a few undred thousand but not passing a million views
the picture on twitter of editing software
the sanders sides fandom is build on speculation and theories, who the orange sides is, Janus’s name, Virgil’s name. People make all sorts of theories and look into every little detail so posting editing stuff, people are going to assume that it’s a sanders sides video
having it premiere instead of just posting it and not giving it a title and having it be a black screen
this is great, no one knows what it’s going to be, but with the other things it’s easy to assume the hype has been building and a premiere, people can speculate with others while they wait, hyping each other up for whatever it’ll be
and now the video it out and I’ve finished it so time to talk about THAT, and why I’m personally disapointed under the cut, if you don’t want to read it that’s fine, these are my thoughts and you don’t need to like or agree with them
I’m disapointed, I’m disapointed as shit, mostly because of the above, how much hype was done especially with the premiere.
yes the sanders sides videos are hard, they’re getting longer and require more editing over time but it has been two years since svs. The fandom revives when there’s new content before leaving.
I got on tiktok a lot in 2020 there where so many cosplayers, all the ones from then are basically gone and I now follow only one acc who still makes tss content, I followed others but they all stopped making that content.
the fandom is dead, and without new content it’ll stay dead, I don’t think this little revival will last very long.
I am sick of waiting, I have waited for two years for a proper sanders sides video, not asides.
Flirting with social anxiety had 1.9 million views as of now.
working through intrusive thoughts has 819k views.
all of sanders sides has millions of views.
I don’t really know where I’m going with this other then that the fandom is slowly dying for good and I’m tired, I’m tired of waiting for a finale that feels like it’ll never come.
the waiting was fine, I didn’t mind when I knew there’d be more but now it feels like there won’t be and if there it it won’t be for a very long time.
if you don’t like this just move on, block me, I don’t care, I am venting out my frustrations at this, it’s partly my fault for hyping myself up so much and I know burn out is a thing, but if Thomas is burned out I also wish he’d just tell us that so we at least know there’s a reason for the wait

updated hair swatches (works with genetics - 6/22/21) by an0nymousghost / celeschul / stardze / teauke
AHH i can finally breathe. i knew i had a lot of cc but i didn’t know i had this much. this took me 10 days (june 5 - june 14) and like 40+ hours? idk but it’s finally here! to celebrate i wrote a literal essay.
7/24/21 edit - this folder only contains the cc i’ve made through 6/15/21! it is highly unlikely that i’ll be updating this in the future. i don’t update my files often, but if you want the most recent versions of EVERYTHING, i suggest going through the original posts
please read though all the notes before downloading! (or not idc)
here are my 223 hairs updated in a 22 swatch palette. the 6 new ones are courtesy of @aharris00britney, and the 16 other are adjustments of the ea colors so the textures are clearer.
i also updated some of the meshes, if you want to know exactly what i updated it’s on the spreadsheet.
the thumbnails are the same unless stated otherwise (i only updated them if they were unbearably ugly lol)
the names are all the same so you can just pop them in your mods folder and click replace! if a hair was in a zip file, i kept it in its folder.
i did this by myself and i haven’t had anyone test it, so if there is any swatches that i forgot to import, please let me know through ask! it’s pretty easy to update it and the post. however, idk if i’ll be updating the massive zip file because it is tedious to do
i’ve also included all of the meshes needed for simplicity. credit goes to the creators!
all the posts are updated with links as well. a lot of my mediafire links broke tho :( i wrote a post on it here

They’re both so nice. Victor’s always made out to be this heartless CEO, so it’s nice to see this side of him :)

Victor eyed the cheerful grin splitting Jason’s face, just a little uneasy in his seat.
While having eager eyes on him was not an unfamiliar experience, he’d never been in a position where he was expected to talk about his feelings on camera. Not that he was about to confess in front of the entire crew of the show, but when it came to you the lines always got a little too blurry for his comfort.
He got a little too eager.
“Just be nice,” Jason had instructed gently, and Victor steeled himself.
They started, quite predictably, by asking him about his ideal type. Resisting the urge to scoff, he tried to stick to the script he’d worked on with Goldman, who had insisted on being present for today’s shoot. Not that Victor was complaining; it wasn’t exactly part of the job description, but Goldman had been enthusiastic, which Victor could appreciate and would certainly reward.
Goldman had also spent most of yesterday handling the public relations department in his absence, preparing them for his appearance on the show. A tentative plan would be sent to him by tomorrow morning. He had faith in them, believing that they would be able to make this look good for him.
“Someone who works hard,” he answered, knowing you would laugh at that. “Who can be themselves around me, someone I can be myself around. Someone...kind.”
The times you’ve spent in Souvenir flit through his mind, some quiet and some full of bright-eyed chatter.
“You’ve known Y/n for some time, right?” the interviewer asked. She looked nice, but he’d been on the block long enough to know that even the kindest faces can often hide the sharpest teeth.
“Yes.”
“What do you think of her?”
“She’s a very kind person,” he said easily. “One of the most hard-working and inspiring people I’ve ever met.”
You would surely gape like a fool after seeing this. It was a little embarrassing, but Victor was determined to leave your image shiny after this. He would not have any words of his twisted to give you a bad name. If it got even a fraction of his feelings across, well, that was a bonus he wouldn’t mind having. The intimate setting of the ferris wheel had seemed to help some, but his admittedly indirect confession didn’t reach you as he had hoped.
God, but his father would love this.
“Did you have fun on your date?”
“It was lovely.” They tacked on another question and he nodded. “I...yes, I’d love to do it again.”
It was a little curt, but he didn’t really get what Goldman had meant by ‘nod tenderly with a far-off look.’
What would you think of that?
The interviewer raised a brow, her smile widening. “Let’s get to it, then. How do you feel about her?”
For some bizarre reason, the first thing that had come to his mind at this question was his inexplicable need to check your social idea every day. And the way his heart beats just a little faster when you’ve posted a new picture. How, in moments of weakness, he’d given in and saved a few to his phone. Even a mental reminder of it made him a little hot under the collar.
There were many things he couldn’t even begin to try and explain when it came to you.
Really, the list is endless.
Victor’s current favourite was the video you’d uploaded of eating the tiramisu he’d cooked. He watches it at the end of a bad day and just like that, he feels a little better.
“I think anyone who ends up with her would be the luckiest person in the world,” he said honestly. “She’s beautiful in every single way.”
The last three words were supposed to have stayed in his head, but saying them felt natural. Goldman seemed to approve, shooting him a discreet thumbs up.
When you walk in, sleep-deprived and grumpy but trying to hide it, thinking he won’t catch on as if he isn’t running sharp eyes over every inch of your face. When the first sip of your coffee is too eager, leaving your tongue burnt and him with a pressing need to soothe it with his own. When you eat too much sugar and complain about a stomach-ache; he scolds you for it, but his arms are left straining with the need to wrap themselves around you.
He cherished these moments and wanted every single one all to himself.
She makes me greedy.
“Would you want to be that person?”
Victor laughed, light and incredulous.
Yes. Yes. Yes.
“I guess time will have to answer that question for us,” he said, the ghost of a smile on his lips, leaving it at just the right note to keep viewers hanging—right along with him.

Closing your Moments and the entire thread discussing the episode, you flop back down onto your mattress. Reaching for your newest plushy, you hug it tight, perhaps a tad too aggressively.
It’s odd. You struggle between the visceral sort of pleasure that comes from a job well done—because the response is terrific—and the trembling nerves that come from watching yourself on a date with Victor.
Watching the episode had been harder than you had expected; you hadn’t quite been expecting the way Victor was looking at you—the intense gaze was a little too convincing, and watching it from the audience’s perspective was flustering.
You spent most of it trying to suppress the inconvenient surges of hope, telling yourself it wasn’t real.
There really was nothing to know. The ferris wheel shot had ended there because you had nothing to say to Victor’s answer. You don’t know if he was referring to his past or his present, but the look in his eyes made it clear: his feelings were still there. Instead of pressing him, you chose to stay quiet, exhaustion clear in your face and sinking deep into your bones.
Victor had seemed to understand and maybe even appreciate it, probably not wanting to discuss it either, and only insisted on dropping you home. The ride to your place had been mostly silent, but you had tried to ask him his thoughts on the day and the shoot. He kept his answers concise, appearing a little distracted, which was so unlike him it made you wonder if he regretted opening up.
You’d spent the entire ride trying to quell the delicate little thing trembling in your chest.
The next video started while you were lost in your thoughts, and it happens to be your individual parts. Curious, you lean in, wincing slightly at the way you were fidgeting.
And then they switch to Victor. You both had to wear the outfits from the date for these, but you still weren't quite expecting the impact his voice alone would have on you.
And as always, those fierce eyes have you freezing in place.
“Let’s get to it, then. How do you feel about her?”
He looks unfazed by the question. Of course, they go over the questions with you beforehand, but you still remember how nervous you’d felt when asked how you felt about him; Victor’s eyes flick towards the camera, filled with intent, as if addressing you—and you close the laptop with a snap, your throat tight.
You don’t have to watch that right away.
You had been very careful about what to say, how to act, channeling your inner-Victor to adopt a marble-smooth expression. Say nice things about him? Easy, you didn’t even have to make anything up. Imply just enough to keep people guessing.
Keep your unwanted feelings to yourself.
Palm coming to rest over your heart, pressing down as if it would alleviate the ache there, you try to sort through your thoughts. You never really thought there was a chance, but to hear it confirmed was a blow you weren’t prepared for.
It’s ridiculous to feel so insecure, you think. You feel like you lost a competition you had never even had the chance to compete in. And over an unnamed, mysterious figure? So silly!
But another part of your mind says it’s okay to feel this way, that it’s only natural. You’ve had such strong feelings for Victor for so long. And all of these feelings, the good and the bad, are yours; the wounds of your heart, the light in your laughter. Fighting them would only make you suffer. The love and the hurt are part of you, both important in their own right.
Knowing all of that doesn’t make it easier, though.
After all, Victor had alluded to his feelings on camera, to your face. Knowing him, he would never do that unless he was sure about the person.
“This fucking sucks,” you admit out loud, and at the heels of your words come the tears. Because, to make it even worse, people really seem to think it’s you.
You can’t blame them, because even you had been taken in by his soft looks. Anyone watching would believe he’s smitten with you. Good for the show, terrible for you.
You’re not strong enough to reply to them, to tell them you aren’t that fortunate, and have been hoping Victor, or someone from his team, would put a stop to it.
But there hasn’t been any word from them and you curse out loud at the fact that he expects you to do something about it. As if there’s any more emphasis needed, your phone vibrates. Unlocking it with a miserable sigh, you scroll down quickly.
Minor [19:40]: am I watching this right? Boss, are you dating the CEO? PLS SAY NO
Chik [20:21]: You bitch. When were you going to tell me you snagged THAT? So I was right back then, ha! Anyway, you two are adorbs. The puppy eyes are disgusting. I’m proud of you.
Chik [20:22]: also...deets. Now. I’ll even throw in a please!!!
Lucien [20:40]: Well, now. I seem to have missed out on quite the opportunity.
Kiro [20:45]: I wish you’d invited me. But I guess it wouldn’t have mattered. I hope he makes you happy, Miss Chips! He better, or else ;P
Frowning at the texts you scroll back up, hoping, hoping, hoping, and at the sight of the name that always sits at the tip of your tongue, you curl up tighter.
Victor [21: 05]: Are you okay?
Y/N [21:20]: I’m fine. Moments seems to be blowing up, haha. Did you watch the episode?
Victor [21: 20]: Yes.
Victor [21: 21]: Did you?
You pause at that, looking guiltily at your laptop. You had, sort of. Fighting off your own thoughts had taken up most of your attention. Resolving to watch it again—a clear display of previously dormant masochistic tendencies, roused by Victor— and actually pay attention this time, you turn back to the screen.
Y/N [21:22]: Yeah, but not the individual parts. It was nice, they made it seem so real! But we’re going to have to say something to let them know there’s nothing like that.
You wait anxiously for a reply, a part of you clearly suffering from delusion hoping he’d oppose that. When there’s no text from him for a few minutes, you plug your phone in to charge and get out of bed, heading for a quick shower before you get something to eat.
Heartbreak hasn't been enough to curb your appetite, and you feel more than ready to let dessert have the chance to make you feel better.
Who needs Victor when you have cake, right?
Just as you’re halfway through cutting a slice of the cake Jason—well, his team—had sent as thanks, trying to keep your thoughts away from the bottle of wine you‘ve got tucked away, your doorbell rings, breaking the melancholic silence of your apartment. A part of you wants to roll your eyes at your dramatics, while the other feels you have the right to wallow for as long as you need to.
The irrational side of you stirs once more, conjuring thoughts of Victor rushing over, and you peep through the hole with a wildly thumping heart.
Lucien’s serene smile chases those thoughts away, and you open the door with a sheepish grin.
He looks a little tired, his dark bangs ruffled; unlike his usual sharp appearance, he looks impossibly soft in his barn red sweater and comfortable looking track pants. He’s also got a folder tucked under one arm.
“Hi!”
“Sorry to drop by so late,” he greets you, his warm eyes bringing you a little comfort instantly. “But you mentioned you’d be working on Miracle Finder tomorrow and I wanted you to have the chance to go over my remarks before that.”
“Lucien! Thank you,” you insist, waving away his apology. “Would you like to come in? I’ve got cake.”
He searches your face for a moment, and his eyes narrow the slightest bit. You feel a little self-conscious in your over-sized sweatshirt and shorts, but it’s not like he hasn’t seen you in various states of disarray before.
“Can’t really say no to that. Let me get my laptop,” he finally agrees. You wait at the door as he gets it, before leading him in. But you notice his curious, inquisitive looks, so subtle and so Lucien, as he toes off his shoes.
“Everything okay?” You reach for another plate, cutting a second slice as Lucien takes a seat at the table.
“Yes, of course. It’s just,” he hesitates, and there’s that odd scrutiny again. “I wasn’t expecting you to be alone.”
“On a Sunday evening?” The first bite of the cake tastes like sweet comfort over the taste of despondency, and you send a silent thanks to Jason. “I spent the day napping.”
“Well, after the show I just watched,” he says, quite slyly in your opinion. “I wasn’t even sure if you’d be home.”
“I didn’t know you were interested in dating shows.” You’re aware your tone is more than a little petulant, but Lucien only laughs around a mouthful of the cake.
“I am if you’re in one,” he retorts. “This is quite nice, by the way.”
“The director, Jason sent it. And, honestly, it wasn’t planned. We were supposed to have Kai and Hollow on, but they ended up clashing horribly. Jason asked me and Victor was around, so…” you trail off, uncomfortable.
“Is that why you texted me that day?” He seems to have remembered your message, and you wince slightly. You had texted him later with an apology, but hadn’t really expected him to cotton on. He doesn't look mad, just expectant.
“Well, yes, but Jason wanted, he wanted Victor.” Stumbling over your words, heat suffuses your skin as you flounder for a moment.
Lucien watches you with the eyes of a fox and the understanding of a good friend. “Just Jason?”
“Huh?”
“Was it just Jason who wanted Victor?” he asks, tilting his head as your mouth purses.
No, no, of course it wasn’t. You stare down at your half-eaten cake, the other half of it beginning to churn in your stomach. His small, soft smiles. His scent. His rants on street food and the way he dragged you away from food that would ‘absolutely make you ill, you absolute dummy’ as Jason resigned himself to having to cut all of that out. It all comes back in a rush, your head left feeling heavy.
And then it feels the weight of a hand, as Lucien reaches over to pat it gently. “Never mind. Why don’t you get your organizer and we can go over tomorrow’s episode?”
Relieved, grateful and slightly emotional over his silent acceptance, you rush to your bedroom to find your notebook and laptop, barely catching the light of your phone screen before it went black. Unplugging and checking it as you exited the room with your materials in hand, your train of thought comes to a screeching halt.
Victor [21:59]: Do you really believe that?
Victor (2 missed calls)
Victor [22:15]: Y/n.
Victor [22:16]: ...Did you fall asleep?
Victor [22:18]: Dummy. Goodnight.
Unwilling to delve into what his first text means, you shift your thick planner in your arms and type a quick reply.
Y/N [22:19]: Hi! Sorry. I went to get something to eat and then Lucien dropped by. We’re going to get to work haha ^^
Victor [22:19]: …
You wait for a whole minute before Lucien calls for you, and let your hand fall, phone locked, with a sigh.
Well, at least he’ll be happy to hear you’re working hard.
Sinking into familiar, engaging discussions with Lucien is easy. Even with the thoughts of Victor looming at the back of your mind, you straighten out a plan for the shoot. Lucien listens to your input carefully, adding his own notes as you squint at yours. His voice, familiar and soothing, lulls you, distracting you from yourself for a short while.
Before you know it, it’s eleven and you’ve got a fantastic plan in hand.
“I’m sorry I kept you so late,” you say for the second time in a minute, and he gives you an exasperated look. “And thank you.”
“I’ve told you, there’s no need for all that between us,” Lucien repeats, crossing one long leg over the other as he adopts a thoughtful look. “However, perhaps you could satisfy my curiosity regarding one thing.”
“What is it?”
You were prepared for a philosophical question. What he comes up with is, in your opinion, way more difficult to answer.
“Why aren’t you with Victor?” he asks seriously. You blink, uncomprehending.
“Like, right now?”
“Right now, or in general. I didn’t think he would just...let you be,” Lucien mutters the last part under his breath, but you still catch it. He continues to say something about possessive bastards, but you’re not touching that.
“I think you’ve misunderstood,” you say, slowly, with a nervous laugh, shoulders hunching a little. “All of that was just for the camera. Victor and I aren’t like that.”
“But you have feelings for him,” Lucien points out, cutting straight to the heart of the matter and yours. Really, this is almost cruel. Lucien turns to face you fully as you sigh and sink back into the couch.
“I do.” It’s the first time you’ve admitted it out loud. Sure, some of the people in your life have had an idea, but you’ve never said it. Lucien seems like a good person to start with. “But he doesn’t feel the same way, so.”
And you’ve never said that out loud either. It hurts, as you put it out into the universe. As if shying away from it before would have increased your chances.
Lucien looks at you oddly. “Did he say that? Because the way he looks at you says otherwise. It’s quite embarrassing.”
You feel heat creeping up the back of your neck.
“I’ve never told him how I feel,” you mumble, pressing the side of your cheek into the soft fabric, hoping it would swallow you up.
“Then how do you know how he feels?” Lucien continues to probe, and you exhale forcefully because it’s so clear to you; why isn’t it ever as clear to everyone else?
And Lucien is supposed to be your smart friend!
‘Well, there’s also someone else in his life but I can’t exactly say that.’
“Because it’s Victor,” you declare with an emphatic sweep of your hands, hoping it would somehow get your point across, that it would explain how unattainable he is. Just as you do, two things happen successively.
One: Lucien looks at you as if he wants to boink you on the head or laugh really loudly. He does neither, but his mouth twitches violently.
And two: there’s a series of loud, heavy knocks on your door, before the culprit seems to remember you have a doorbell and rings that instead. It only rings once, but you can sense that the person is still there.
Exchanging alarmed looks with Lucien, you rise to your feet and shuffle towards the door.
“Let me,” Lucien murmurs, stopping you before you can reach the entrance, and steps forward to look through the peephole. His only reaction is a quick, sharp exhale before he steps back to unlock the door.
Without telling you who was just knocking at your door like a maniac.
“Wait, who i-” the words fall away with your panicked thoughts, as Lucien opens the door to reveal your uninvited visitor.
It really is Victor this time, with his chest heaving as if he’d run up the stairs. Victor, with his inky hair pushed back carelessly, in dark grey sweats and a light grey t-shirt and indoor slippers.
Victor, with a furious look in his eyes as he pushes past Lucien, who looks a little too entertained in the face of such ire.
“Sorry to intrude on your cosy evening,” he says, after a short pause, through clenched teeth. You stare at him in disbelief, unable to form actual words at the moment. It feels as if a concentrated storm itself has swept into your living room, ready to swallow you up.
Of course, a part of you would be more than okay with that. Even with that knife-sharp glint in his eyes, you can’t help but want to throw yourself at it, let it graze the softest parts of you, in an emotional variation of bloodletting.
Sometimes you surprise yourself with the things you think.
Maybe you should’ve changed into nicer pyjamas after all, damn it.
“Victor? What-is everything okay?” You look him over carefully, seeing no visible signs of injury. The stony look on his face, however, keeps you from coming too close. What could you possibly have done now?
Swiftly, you run through a list of work-related tasks. Nope. Nothing. You’ve been sure to give it your all this week just so Victor wouldn’t feel the need to call you.
Even now, though, something under your skin starts buzzing, as it always does when his entire attention is on you.
“Yes. Why wouldn’t everything be okay?” he says mutinously, crossing his arms over his chest. Okay, you’re sensing more than a little hostility here.
And, because life is unfair, bitchy is also a good look on Victor.
“Well,” you draw out, looking past him at Lucien, who shrugs lightly. Victor frowns at the exchange. He levels a downright lethal glare at Lucien, who tilts his head in clear interest. Kinda hot, but you should probably keep that to yourself lest you push Victor to the point of spitting fire. “It’s...late...and you’re here…?”
That has his mouth doing that little spasm it does when he’s pissed. “And I notice I’m not the only one. What, is it just me who’s barred from coming to your place this late?”
“Well, n-no,” you stammer, looking once more at Lucien who seems content to watch and be unhelpful. “But Lucien was just here to talk about tomorrow’s episode.”
Why are you here?
The question seems to hang in the air, unsaid yet clear.
Victor says nothing, standing tall in your living room like an indignant matron. You feel helpless, confused, elated and increasingly offended because of the implication in his words that only catches up to you now.
You pick the path of offense.
“But what, exactly, did you think Lucien was doing here?” you ask, your tone turning decidedly cooler. He returns your glare. Behind him, you see Lucien trying to hide a smile. “You seem to be under the impression that I make it a habit of entertaining people in my evenings?”
Victor blinks at that, arms coming loose, and you hold up a hand.
“And even if I did want to have friends over at night,” you say loudly, through gritted teeth. “What business is it of yours?”
“It’s inappropriate,” he insists.
“No, what’s inappropriate is you coming into my house and telling me who I should, or should not, be spending time with, regardless of the time.” Much to your frustration, you find yourself blinking back tears as your voice cracks towards the end.
Victor deflates at that, the ice in his expression melting in the face of your furious tears; Lucien, concern clear on his face, takes a step towards you. Your eyes squeeze shut, as if that would hide you from them; anger and embarrassment war within you at not only crying in front of Victor, but to have a quiet Lucien witnessing this ridiculous drama.
Where did your peaceful day go?
You hear footsteps, hesitant and barely audible, come closer, feel the heat from a body as it nears yours.
“I’m sorry. I’ll leave.” It’s Victor.
Your eyes snap open to the sight of his back, your feet carrying you forward without the aid of your thoughts, a hand curling loosely into his t-shirt.
Leave? Just like that?
He stops in his tracks, looking back down at you in surprise. You’re not sure what he sees as you keep your eyes fixed on his shoulder, but it makes him sigh softly.
A thumb wipes under your eyes, gentle, and strong arms wrap around you carefully, pulling you into an—unreasonably broad, you think—chest; his comforting scent envelopes you, pulling you back from the edge.
It’s frustrating. You want to yell at him for barging in like a lunatic. But you don’t want him to leave. You want to sink into his steady embrace and allow the solace it brings.
With your face pressed to his t-shirt, you miss the way he looks back at Lucien, who nods and turns to leave, but not before holding Victor’s gaze for a moment longer—you don’t see the warmth drain from his face, the vicious warning warning clear in his eyes.
Victor pulls you closer, nodding once.
If Lucien’s answering smile is a touch more resigned than amused, neither of them can really acknowledge it.
You try to pull back when you hear the door close gently, but Victor cards a hand through your hair and you slump back into his embrace.
“I’m sorry,” he repeats, stroking your hair, with a gentle hesitance uncharacteristic for the decisive man. “That was...extremely inappropriate of me. I should not have done that. I can leave. I should.”
He should. But neither of you move. His heart beats a little faster, the sound clearer the longer your ear remains pressed into his chest.
With cotton in your mouth, your mind totally mush with the knowledge that Victor’s hugging you, and with the little voice yelling that he does not get to hold you after driving you to tears—it takes you a moment to form a response.
But you can’t resist. “So what you’re saying is you made an impulsive decision.”
The soft motions of his hand pause before he huffs into your hair. There’s no other response, and it makes you smile a little.
“Why did you?” you finally ask. Victor quite visibly lost his cool. While he did seem to have something against Lucien, this was a bit much. You hadn’t been aware that the hostility ran this deep.
He tucks your head under his chin, the arm around your waist tightening, and as the anger subsides, your face begins to heat up as you realize how intimate this is. But Victor seems content to stay like this, and your heart hammers when you feel something brush the crown of your head.
“Dummy,” he mutters, and yes, his words are slightly muffled by your hair, and you feel the urge to stick your head in the refrigerator. “You had that guy over this late at night. Do you really need to ask?”
“It’s just Lucien,” you respond, and this time he lets you pull your head away to look at you with abject disbelief.
“Just? There’s no just with that guy.” He seems serious, so you swallow the laughter bubbling up.
“Lucien is a dear friend,” you assure him. “You were really that worried about it?”
“Worried,” Victor repeats, staring at you. Your confusion is clear in your face, as the feeling that you’re missing something creeps in. “Worried. Yes. I was worried.”
You nod encouragingly, and take a quick step back when he laughs. It isn’t one of his airy laughs, that escapes him when he finds something funny. It’s low, almost strangled—and then he steps forward, expression melting into sheer intent.
When he speaks, his voice is a full octave lower and it scrambles your brains with shameful ease.
“Since he was the one you considered over me for our date that day. Yes, I suppose I was worried,” he muses, matching every unsteady step you take backwards with one towards you. You refrain from pointing out that it was for a show, and all too soon, the back of the sofa hits your hips and Victor looms over you.
You tuck the part about him knowing you wanted to ask Lucien first away for later. Victor, his soothing scent, the heat from his breath, his tempestuous gaze—your senses flood with him.
“Y-yeah. But you didn’t need to be, he always helps us out,” you point out confusedly, and he gives you a familiar, unimpressed look that brings a small, and odd, measure of relief.
“What kind of a person would I be,” he says, and your stomach swoops as he leans over you, hands resting on the top of the sofa as you lean back. “If I let dangerous men like him think they have a chance with you?”
“Dangerous? He’s…” The rest of his words catch up and you can’t think, tongue struggling to form coherent speech. “Not...dangerous?”
“Too dangerous,” he murmurs, lips brushing over your temple. Something in the back of your throat trembles. “Even if I don’t have the right, I…”
He doesn’t continue.
Holding your breath, you count to five before releasing it, pulse beating an anticipatory beat in your veins. “Why should anyone think they don’t have a chance with me?”
You know he hasn’t, but with how everything in you stills after asking that question, you wonder if he stopped time.
You’re not sure if it’s the right question to have asked, or the worst.
But it gives him pause, and when the tip of your tongue slips out to wet your lips, his eyes slide down to your mouth. A large hand slides up your spine to rest at the back of your head, your skin erupting with goosebumps at the touch.
Your lips part on the softest sound and it makes something rumble in his chest, quiet but clear with how close he is.
It gives you what you’ve been dreaming of—Victor’s lips falling over yours, soft, with a rushed breath and fervent eyes, something desperate at the edge of it. Everything goes quiet, with only your blood pounding in your ears. It feels as if every inch of you is awake in a tingly sort of way, your thoughts deserting you at the way he looks at you, ready to devour.
There’s hunger in his eyes, and you feel faint when it hits you.
It’s also his answer, you realize, mouth opening to say something, anything, and he pulls you back, kissing you fiercely. Something in you caves, spilling into your blood, setting it alight with a burst of sparking desire.
Victor kisses with his entire body, like he does everything else: controlling every inch of it, sweeping your mind clean, licking into your mouth with the determination that drives his every action, to conquer.
But you’ve been determined to match him since the day you first met him, all too eager to push back and clash. You don’t mind the clack of teeth, the lack of rhythm, and Victor only presses in harder as your arms slide over his shoulders, fingers weaving into his hair. Your tongue is a sly thing that licks along his, your mouth a clever warm weapon that sucks at it, and he unravels.
Hands that were so careful lose their caution as they dig into the sides of your hips, slinking down and hooking around your thighs as he lifts you up, your legs wrapping around his waist.
“You’re not stopping me,” he rasps against your lips, almost questioning, pupils blown wide. He looks so good you might just lose your mind, and this is after a kiss.
Taking a page out of his book, you kiss him again.
He carries you around the sofa—with a strength you’ll be sure to admire deeply once you’ve regained the ability to form thoughts—even as he sucks bruises into the delicate skin of your neck, sitting down with you sinking into his lap.
You’re shivering, you realize, at this sudden fulfilment of a desperate, impossible wish. Your knees press into the sides of his thighs as Victor kisses the corners of your mouth, the curve of your upper lip, the plush, swollen jut of your lower lip—and you feel deliriously drunk.
He watches you carefully.
“Oh,” you say, half-slurring, kissed stupid. “That’s why.”
“Hm,” he agrees, nuzzling the side of your face. His eyes are bright, his arms a grounding touch around your back. “No one should think they get to have this.”
“No one but you?” It’s meant to be clever, sharper, but it comes out shy instead. He nips at the shell of your ear, and you can’t bring yourself to be mad about it.
“If you allow it,” he confirms. He presses his lips to the soft skin behind your ear.
Something swells within you, sweet, sudden and threatening to dissolve you into tears. It breaks open, everything you’ve worked so hard to suppress spilling out like hoarded treasure out of a box now too small to hold it.
“I like you.” It comes out in a rush, and you slap your hands over your face. This time, his low chuckle rings clear in your ears. But when your breath hitches on a sob, his grip on you tightens, lips finding your forehead. “I really like you. So much. I have for a while. At the fair, all of it, I wasn’t...wasn’t acting.”
“What, and you thought I was?” He looks a little offended when you take a peek at his face. But the sight of his ruffled hair and kissed-puffy lips sends a hot, thrilled jolt through you, and you have to restrain yourself from pouncing. “I have many skills. Acting, admittedly, is not one of them.”
“I thought maybe it was a hidden passion or something,” you mutter, trying to repress a wet laugh at the withering look he gives you, gentle hands wiping at your eyes. “What, you were great!”
“Nope. That was all real,” he declares, pulling you in to rest against him, your head on his shoulder. You feel a little awkward, but that’s mostly outweighed by how much you want to stay here. “...well, maybe I was a little…”
“Nicer than usual?” you offer, and he huffs into your hair. “Cheesy, like you binge-read several romance novels the night before?”
“Cheesy?” He protests, and you laugh with warmth building and rushing through you. “I thought you liked all that.”
“I do.” This time, the kiss he presses into the crown of your head is firmer.
“Then I’ll do it.” You look up at him, a little enchanted, a little bewildered, but the former wins out as the corners of his mouth curl up. “Every silly thing you want to do. Oh, and I really like you too.” It’s almost a scoff, but the tremor in his voice and the flush that spreads across his skin speaks his truth.
“Really?” you ask, your grin a little mad and ridiculously beatific. It feels unreal, the joy and relief spreading through you; he pecks the tip of your nose.
“Have I ever given you reason to doubt me?” Victor asks, and the solemn sincerity in his voice prompts you to deliver a loud, smacking kiss to his cheek, just because you can. To your unending joy, the lobes of his ears are almost impossibly red.
“Never,” you assure him, peppering more kisses over his skin, fascinating by the sight of him pinkening. A thought strikes you, dampening your rising spirits. “I thought...thought there was someone else.”
He makes a soft, surprised noise in his throat, disbelief winning out over the tenderness for a moment. “Who?”
“I don’t know!” You press your face into the side of his neck, inhaling his comforting scent, hoping it would help with the remnants of hurt. “Some mystery goddess.”
He’s quiet as you nuzzle his rapidly warming skin, feeling the first hints of sheer mortification settle in at the way your voice just cracked. He whispers something.
“Sorry?”
Victor clears his throat. “Just you.” He buries his nose in your hair before you have the chance to lean back like you want to. “It’s only ever been you.”
Not expecting the sincere confession, it feels as if the breath was punched out of you. “Why didn’t you ever say anything?”
He toys with a strand of your hair, curling it absently around a finger. “I didn’t want to overstep. And to make you feel like you had to reciprocate.”
You stay silent, sensing that he has more to say, even though you want nothing more than to wrap yourself around him and never let go.
“I’ll admit that I feared you would feel pressured to be with me. And that would...I would rather see you happy with someone else, than see you miserable with me.”
“I could never be miserable with you,” you protest at once, feeling almost offended by the mere suggestion.
“I’m not...I know I can be difficult.” The words fall out in a rushed exhale, as if he wants to get them out before they can be swallowed; you feel weak with the force of your emotions. “But I can try for you. I did that day. I wanted you to relax, to have fun, like you do with your friends. I didn’t want you to be so...cautious.”
It’s true, you realize guiltily, that there are times where you can’t completely relax in Victor’s company. Those are the days where your feelings sit a little heavier in your stomach, when his words strike a little sharper. The thought of disappointing him, of doing something not to his taste, of judgment, held you back.
But the day of the fair had been different. He met you halfway, maybe even more than that, and never said a word of complaint. You’d assumed that had been for the camera, though.
“Please,” he says with a roll of his eyes, and you realize you’d said that out loud. “No, that was…” He lowers his gaze, long lashes fanning over the tops of his cheekbones. “That was to show you that you can have fun with me too. I...like you. The way you are. Every bit. The determined, unyielding parts.”
You stare at him.
“The hurting, unsure parts,” he says, a little quieter. “The silly, ridiculously cute parts—don’t look at me like that.”
“Like what,” you ask, your overworked mind trying to process his words, knowing your smile is probably embarrassingly dopey.
He scowls at you. “Just be yourself with me. Dummy is fine.”
“Victor,” you exclaim all of a sudden, startling him. “How am I supposed to stay standing in the face of you saying things like that?”
He rolls his eyes again. “First of all, you’re sitting right now, and I don’t plan to let you move for a while.” Predictably, you feel a little lightheaded at that. “And as for the future...then don’t try to stand, dummy. You can just rest here.” He pulls your head to rest on his shoulder, patting it firmly.
“I’m going to die,” you say with absolute certainty into his shoulder. “I can’t survive this.”
“You have to,” he mutters dryly, tucking you more firmly against him. “Haven’t you seen the discussions? Our ‘love story’ can’t end in your death, too many would be left devastated.”
“Including you?” The look you direct at him is positively vulpine, and he snorts, pushing your head back down. Bully.
The titillated fluttering in your stomach makes you smile.
“...I can’t become a widower before we even get married,” he says solemnly, and you can nearly feel the blood drain from your face as you rear back.
The corners of his mouth twitch with something like mischief, and the smack you deliver to his bicep is perfectly justified.
The undoubtedly chiselled muscle you feel very briefly will also require further rumination once you’re alone.
He’s cracking marriage jokes, no doubt referring to the few comments gushing about a secret wedding. An hour ago, you had been under the impression that he was madly in love with some mystery figure.
Like a bird just freed, your heart flutters at the thought of him having feelings for you.
“Say it again.”
To his credit, he doesn’t do you the disservice of pretending he doesn’t know what you’re asking for. He clears his throat, eyes flicking to the side before finding their way back to yours.
“I like you,” he says, a little lower, a lot deeper. “Dummy.”
You wish you could see what your face was doing, because it makes his eyes go really, really soft. Now that you aren’t weighed down by the frantic need to hide your feelings from one of the most astute people you’ve ever met, you feel like you could float away the way you’ve seen Gavin do, just from how free and happy you feel.
“Just for the record,” you say quietly. “I like you the way you are too.”
“Hm?”
“Even when you’re being a jerk.” He tweaks your ear lightly, rolling his eyes when you giggle. Your heart beats a harsh beat as you try to come up with the right words. “But you’re also the best man I know. When you have it together, and when you don’t—I’ll be there for you. Always.” The way he’s always been there for you.
He kisses the tip of your nose, his pretty eyes a little shinier than before.
“We should aim for a real date first.” He sounds decisive, and a little hoarse.
“...I have a list of places I thought would be good for our first date,” you admit, eyes still locked with his despite your shy admission. He looks pleased, always happy when you take the initiative, and you watch his mouth do that tender thing for a second before leaning in for a swift kiss, catching his lower lip between your teeth as you pull away.
“Good.” His head falls back onto the sofa as your lips trail down his neck curiously, mouthing at the slope of his adam’s apple. Just because you can. “Send it to me.”
“Good,” you murmur, breath hitching in your throat as his hands curl over your waist, skimming the hem of your sweatshirt. “We’re doing this, then.”
“Most definitely.” With how throaty his voice has gotten as you reach his clavicle, a gentle explorer, you’re not sure words will be your allies for much longer.
“Will you be my boyfriend then, Mr. CEO?” you ask playfully, tasting the words in your mouth. Victor makes a soft, content sound in his throat.
“I’m all yours,” he affirms, relishing the words in his mouth, raising his head to look at you through hooded eyes. You both know it, just a little, but saying the words brings a giddy, vulnerable sort of feeling with them. “And you…”
With no need for hope, just certainty, you rise up to kiss him softly.
“I’m yours.”
BTS:
Goldman stares at Jason in horrified disbelief, shocked by the words that had just left the director’s mouth. He glances at his boss, whose only reaction had been to cock a brow.
“Would you be open to replacing Kai?”
“I’m...not really one for such shows,” Victor says, quite delicately in Goldman’s opinion, knowing the man usually has no qualms about being savagely blunt.
“I’m aware. I just thought it would be something different, something that would let people see a different side of you,” Jason explains, still completely at ease.
Victor’s expression makes it quite clear he doesn’t care about people seeing other sides of him.
“Who’s the other participant? Did Hollow come back?” Goldman asks, curious despite himself. In his very personal opinion, which he will definitely be keeping to himself, it might be nice for Victor’s image if people saw he isn’t always heartless.
“Oh, no. She didn’t,” Jason says pleasantly. But the look in his eyes is almost hawklike as he keeps them locked on Victor. “I asked Y/n to do it instead. She agreed.”
Now, to the untrained eye, Victor gives no outward reaction to that statement.
But Goldman sees the way his brow twitches, the way his lips purse the slightest bit. He wonders if Jason, as a director with many years of experience under his belt, caught it too.
“She agreed?” Victor asks, sounding as if he doesn’t quite believe it.
“Yes,” Jason answers, suddenly distracted as he glances at his wristwatch. He sighs, a touch too dramatic to be convincing, but Goldman doesn’t think Victor cares about that. “But I understand. We wouldn’t want you to do something you’re not interested in. I have to go check on her, we’ll keep you updated.”
Something is happening here, Goldman realizes. Jason isn’t rushing out, but seems to be waiting for something.
Victor, staring at the surface of the coffee table, is struggling.
Goldman struggles too. He struggles not to roll his eyes in abject exasperation, to pray for divine patience. Why is he like this? Of course, to step into such an obvious trap surely goes against all the instincts he’s honed over the years, but none of that matters when it comes to the delicate matters of the heart!
Instead, he catches Jason’s eyes, pushing his glasses up his nose, eyes glinting.
“But who else would you ask to step in on such short notice?” Goldman asks, pointedly.
And finally, Goldman holds his breath as the ghost of a smirk passes over Jason’s mouth.
This is it.
“Oh, it shouldn’t be a problem. Y/n said she could call Professor Lucien, having already guessed Victor wouldn’t be, um, up for it. She really knows you well, huh?” Jason informs them cheerfully, and even Goldman isn’t expecting that. He thought Jason would go for the ‘who will help poor y/n’ route.
It’s obvious manipulation, and they all know it. Knowing Victor, he will stubbornly refuse to give in and suffer for it. At least, the way he’s glaring at Jason seems to indicate that.
Goldman rushes through several justifications in his head, forming a rapidly coherent argument as to why he should do it, carefully keeping ‘if you don’t want to see her with someone else, suck it up’ and ‘please, please, watching you sulk is really sad I can’t do it’ off the list.
Surely, Victor wouldn’t let the sexy professor sweep you off your feet? He’s heard the man talk, that kind of smooth talk should not be allowed and holy hell, Jason has played this really well.
“They do get along well, so it should work,” Jason muses, slathering a little more icing on his three-tier cake of clear-cut manipulation, drama, and subterfuge.
“I’ll do it.” It’s said through a tightened jaw, but it rings clear in the silence of the room. Goldman abandons his mental speech, head whipping around to stare at Victor.
“Oh?” Jason sounds genuinely surprised, as if he hadn’t been aiming for this from the start.
“Yes,” comes the answer, leaving no room for argument.
“Are you sure?” Jason asks, oddly somber, finally abandoning the pretense. So he is in possession of some morals, who would have thought?
“Give me the briefing,” Victor says, shoulders set in a firm, determined line Goldman is all too familiar with.
Jason relaxes into his seat, relief clear in his face.
And as Victor turns to him, giving him specific instructions about his outfit, cologne and flowers, determined to do this right with that familiar, besotted spark in his eye, Goldman feels warm pride trickle in.
‘We’re gonna get you the girl, boss.’
Aaaaaaand...CUT.
I know the last behind the scenes thing wasn’t really needed but I had to

HAVE YOU SEEN THESE "LEAKS"? IF ITS NOT FAKE WILL YOU STILL SHIP SHIDGE PLEASE IM CRYING
oh shit I din’t expect I got asked about that this soon D:
I’m not gonna post those “screenshots” here because I don’t wanna problems, if you need to see them go to other accs or Instagram
Yeah anon don’t panic, I saw that bullshit and now I have two things in mind:
1) From one hand it looks pretty much real I mean it’s literal studio mir style, line, coloring and other stuff.
2) I’M LITERALLY SCREAMING WTF DREAMWORKS Lol apparently that’s a guy from old anime who appeared in first episode like an easter egg and now he’s gonna marry Shiro? That easy? I’m not talking now about different copyrights and stuff (if you had to deal with it you may know that it’s not very simple shit lol) the matter is that it looks very fake itself that they made Shiro to marry other guy literally in a season after he lost Adam, whom he dated for four years and they still haven’t been married. And we know nothing about that guy because he’s just a fucking Easter egg + apparently on the “leaks” his skin is darker so idk if it looks very um right. And would Dreamworks really let THAT importamt info to be leaked? The main spoiler? Not sure about that.
The thing is that I remember LGBT rep in OUAT and how fake and forced it looked there and I don’t want Dreamworks to make the same mistake. It’s better to don’t have a rep at all than having it like that - with a certain deus ex machine just to show that “we’re progressive, love us”. It’s not even because I ship Shidge I never principally wanted it in canon and even in my hc it took time for him to develop feelings to another person after Adam because that’s just not that easy to move on. And there was no sense to add Adam at all if you still wanted to marry him with another dude.
SO here’s my humble absolutely subjective theory you don’t have to agree with and trust to:
producers see all the explosion in the fandom after what they did to Adam
people blame creators in not getting proper LGBT rep and making “bury your gays trope”
creators want to leave everyone happy and at least push some lgbt rep for Shiro even though they never originally planned it and never wanted to make smth else besides Adam
they bring already done few months ago last episode back, bring some animators back from their well deserved vacation to draw 3-second piece with him kissing a guy we first see (well second but you know what i mean)
apparently they think people will be okay with him making out with smb off screen, not explaining this new relationship at all and with all of this thing looking forced and absolutely deus ex machina for everyone
because lots of people already like Adam, they made aus with him, where he is alive and after that they still want to make Shiro move on that easy with random guy? Adam didn’t deserve it honestly. I’m not even talking about all the Shaladin shippers lol.
so the creators want to test this addition to the already done story to know people’s reation and know if it’s positibe or negative to avoid any mistakes and being blamed in all sins once again.
and they make “leaks” to know what to do when they need to air the episode.
My opinion is - if this was really like that, if they really add that in hurry after episode was already finished, they will literally make no one happy. As I’ve already said - good LGBT rep = logical LGBT rep with being properly added to the plot and having influence on it. I don’t know what trick they’re planning to make but personally I think that they need to stop and let it be before it’s not too late.
That was a hot take I hope I explained my thoughts clearly.
OR THIS SHIT IS JUST SOMEONE’S VERY QUALITY MADE FAKE AND WE ALL ARE FUCKED
thanks for coming to my TED talk.
P.S Nothing will ever stop me from loving my OTP, none leaks, none plot twists okay thank you

Saloni ka Suffer Part 3 - This first half is related to her… I still remember there was a photographer named Zain Ali (Black Beard, Stout fellow) I had approached him in 2016 for a portfolio cuz back then I was pretty & he didn’t have anything cheap on his Instagram so I thought he was decent, when he started getting clingy I backed out and I had to block him at some point, anyway he kept my number saved and he would sporadically harass me on iMessage and all & I would keep blocking him, it has been going on since years, last year he added me on Snapchat and then created an additional acc on Instagram when I removed him from there, he added me on Insta & my first instinct was to delete the request so I did that but I went to fetch his ID to block him and I found his original account which was now littered with vulgar naked photos and out of them, Saloni’s pics were the most salacious, complete p*rno stuff, I realised women like her encourage such men, I was able to locate both the accounts so I blocked him. Just because I now look like this doesn’t mean I don’t deserve an equally educated, sophisticated guy who would understand/who’s able to comprehend or fathom what I share here in my journal or someone of my caliber, I don’t deserve that pervy petla creep… those girls like Saloni are comfortable with him I’m not and they even encourage them. He would mostly come whenever I would share pretty pics or old selfies like a superficial shallow perv and every time I would rebuff him, he would say, “F*ck off man just eff off” - he apparently had the same level of attitude that Bengali servants have in Indian households. I’m getting another panic attack cuz I got anxious while drafting this so I’m gonna go and catch my breath… :/
Contd. It’s easy to be spontaneous at 15-16 and say, “I’ll buy my own engagement ring” or “pay for myself” but as a grown up when you realise how coldly the world perceives you or any other female when they are rejected or never chosen or when they end up being “inexperienced”, how elusive relationships or dating is - for you, (the rest of the world has a normal life, they have several exes, for them even “sex is easy”) when you aren’t asked out ever, at all… you realise your worth is judged solely by how much a man is willing to spend on you, be it his youth, time, effort or money, if he’s ready to buy you gifts instead of humiliatingly rejecting your’s or willing to pay for your food because he wants to see you eat your fav stuff then the world smiles with you but when he doesn’t, you cry, alone and the world blames you and calls you impotent (even though it should be the other way round) - 𝒞𝒵. Zara Sauleh
I’ll again like to reiterate myself: I have had incidents where I’ve been very close to getting gang raped and that is exactly why I’m scared of living alone or living with a predator under the same roof and in India men only get married to buy a woman for life, they say “it’s their right and our duty” https://www.lilacnights.com/post/twist-of-fate I wanted someone of my choice.

My Friend has been Falsely Accused of Tracing So I Will Defend Him
Okay I accidentally deleted the blog I posted this one because I’m a dumbass, so I’ll just repost it here even though I don’t use this blog anymore, but apparently I still have followers. Bless caches because I was able to get this back from google caches so I don’t have to retype everything. I added further evidence and refutes to claims that were not in my original post btw.
Anyways, I am making this post to help out my good friend @5ru9 aka Falco who has been recently accused of tracing/copy pasting other people’s / official art!
I’ve known Falco for over 3 years, and we’ve grown as artists together. Once in a while we give each other advice on art (thanks for the mech and armor advice and teaching me how you line and color!), but most of the time we just meme each other.
Anyways, a lot of people have pointed out that they’ve seen him livestream before, and he’s already posted some of his block outs and other wips as proof that he does not trace in his post here:
http://5ru9.tumblr.com/post/168277137427/hello-i-have-been-informed-about-a-callout-post
To further prove his claim with solid evidence, I shall present to you!
Times he’s asked for advice on his art, or I randomly decided to mention things I notice in his WIPs!
Exhibit A-1:
A Tenkai Knight he made up! I pointed out a few things I thought were awkward about the perspective in his WIP.
Exhibit A-2:
He started working on this way back in July and didn’t finish it until much later because he was working on several other pieces at the same time. I suggested lowering the eyebrows and drawing the eyes a bit narrower to get more of the playful expression he was aiming for. In his final piece here, you can see that Falco continued to refine the piece.
By the way! The reason he sometimes posts a lot of detailed artworks one shortly after the other is because he sometimes works on multiple pieces at once! And then finishes coloring them around the same time.
Exhibit A-3
Falco and I spent good time trying to figure out why he felt like something was wrong with his sketch! I thought maybe it was the trapezius and I decided to red line (or blue line i guess) it so it’d be easier for him to see approximately where i thought the line should go to fix it.
Exhibit A-4:
The gif-ing process turned white bg into blue… anyways! Falco showed me an early version of his Tenkai Knights OC that he eventually used in an April Fool’s joke to pass off as a new character in the series. He mastered the tenkai style enough that at first glance, people really did believe it was official! Like you had to get a good look to realize Shiyu was not really a real new character! Btw I had to go into my old twitter acc to find this…. (Edit: the gif wasn’t working bc it was too big so i had to make it smaller… and choppier and stuff to fit the mb max)
Well now that brings us into!!!
Exhibit B
Some of his old art!! (I’m so sorry falco i’ll be exposing your ancient art to ppl now)
Here you can see his progress from 2014 Tenkai fan art to early 2015! It starts looking more and more like the official art, which is what he was going for.
For reference, here’s what the character Ceylan Jones/Washizaki looks like:
I blocked out fan art by everyone except falco (which i marked) that shows up in this google search. Everything else is official art. The two fan arts by falco you see here are more recent, the angel one being from 2016 and the chicken one from 2017 (i think he also made a version with sonic instead of the chicken? lol). They’re both on his dA accounts btw! The 2017 one really looks like official art, doesn’t it? But it’s his artwork! He practiced a LOT to reach that point, and I hope the earlier arts I showed above this one are enough to convince you in his art progression! Side note: i only used images w/ceylan because 1. i’m biased because ceylan is my favorite character and 2. he drew ceylan a lot because ceylan is his favorite character Also you can see his handle change from s3iwashi to burningbraven. 5ru9 is is a pretty recent handle.
ANYONE WHO HAS BEEN IN THE TENKAI FANDOM FOR A WHILE CAN VOUCH FOR HIM!!!!!
And now for the last one,
Exhibit C
WHAT? WHO IS THIS???
This is my favorite character from a Chinese series called AOTU World! His name is Grey, or 格瑞。I commissioned Falco to draw Grey for me, and let me tell you it would be IMPOSSIBLE for him to have copied any of this. Why? Because the donghua is 3D and the manhua’s art is very inconsistent!
Let me show you the reference pictures I gave him to work with!
They’re all in my gdrive folder here: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1CqwH5KS-pHX0ZqLHQpoIZBi6W-gsU_Tz
This is all official art from the manhua, except the 3D model is from the donghua. Look at how inconsistent the references are! There’s no way he could have copy and pasted or traced this! Grey doesn’t even do this particular pose anywhere. lol. I told Falco “give him a cool sword pose”. (I’m sorry for being so vague, Falco! But it turned out great!!) The style he ended up drawing in was a mixture of all of them.
Btw!! here’s the blockout and the sketch he sent me before I sent my payment for the commission!! You can see his construction in the block out!! The arm construction and leg construction is light, but it’s there. You can also see the block out below the sketch. Notice he actually fixed the leg length from block out -> sketch?
ARGUMENTS AGAINST SPECIFIC ACCUSATIONS
LOOK, thte actual drawing doesn’t even match the sprites that closely. Pay attention to the collar especially. The whole frankensteining the image and then painting over it thing is just way more effort than drawing it himself. They don’t even match that well in the overlays. Like wow it’s such a crime to try and stay on model.
WHO WOULD EVEN NEED TO TRACE A MOUTH LIKE THAT? IT’S SO EASY TO DRAW. I CAN DRAW IT PERFECTLY JUST BY LOOKING AT IT. (well i AM an animator so I also do style mimicking)
Doesn’t the fact that you have to edit the sprites to match his artwork prove that you’re just a tryhard in making up fake evidence and not a tryhard enough at art since you think it’s so impossible for people to draw characters on model?
Yes he referenced the broom and possibly the heels from this image, but your overlays for the leg and arms are disingenuous and you know it. The leg positions are different, and the overlay doesn’t even match up. Face tracing also makes no sense. You literally stretched the mouth to try and make it fit but it still doesn’t fit. Do you really think it’s that hard to draw mouths and eyes in the DR style? DR faces are really simple to emulate. Also you fool, if you follow Falco’s artwork enough, you’d realize the way he draws bodies is actually rather consistent even as he does different styles. Especially when it comes to hands. His way of drawing hands is how I recognize his art and know right away it’s his art and not official art or a trace (also his coloring style). The heels he drew are also reminiscient of how he typically draws shoes/feet. he draws them bulkier. The other art has dainty heels. At most he referenced how backside works because he’s used to drawing sneakers.
Also come on, if all you referenced from an image was a broom because you liked the style (his is also clearly drawn by himself since you can’t overlay it on the other one. like i said he mostly used the style as a reference for how-to-broom) and you referenced pieces from many other images, are you going to list every single thing you referenced? While yeah it’d be nice to, it’s a little ridiculous to expect all 5-20 references whenever they post the image. It’s a thing where, if someone asks, you’d tell them, but it’s too much to list all of it. This isn’t a 20 page thesis.
If it’s such a crime, then holy shit sue all those people who parody other people’s comics and sue everyone who dares!!! to ever draw something remotely similar to someone else. Dang.
Art doesn’t live in a vacuum.
Okay, this one is just plain stupid. You distorted the sprite to match it up with his, but what would be the point for him to distort it just to trace? Also if he traced, can you explain the rest of the fingers that are drawn nicely but clearly different from the sprite? Also the thumbs don’t even match up. His faces more downward while the sprite is facing more forward. Also explain the turned body in Falco’s sketch, then!! And the hair! OH WAIT YOU CAN’T EXPLAIN IT BY ANY OTHER WAY THAN HE DREW IT HIMSELF!!! BECAUSE NO SPRITES MATCH IT AND YOU CAN’T FIND ANY SPRITES TO DISTORT ENOUGH TO EVEN GET CLOSE TO MAKING FAKE EVIDENCE FOR IT.
By the way, the style he drew it in is closer to the drv3 than this sprite. while it’s pretty much the same style as the older games, drv3′s art is more refined than the older games. Falco’s art is also more refined as you can see. (wow not only did falco’s art improved from back when we first met; even professional artists improve. shocker. /s)
Dude what the hell? The overlays don’t even match up even ifi you tried to frankenstein them. And these are really common poses at really common angles, and once again, must every single thing we reference from be listed in the description of every place we post an image? Let me just list all 30 videos and 50 images i used as reference for one of my prints. jfc.
As for the saihara animation based on the digimon opening animation? It was pretty clear to everyone that it’s some kind of parody. Many people when making parody animations don’t mention the original video either?? It’s a fun thing for fans of the franchise to recognize the reference themselves. Yes he could have said it was the digimon opening on the description, but at least he didn’t say he thought of the idea himself? And if you talk to him about the animation, he will openly tell you it’s from digimon. And the fact that you think it’s a trace despite how much the overlays do NOT work out is practically proof that you’re just doing this maliciously and hoping that saying he traces enough with shoddy evidence will make people believe you.
ALSO PEOPLE LITERALLY TRACE ANIMATIONS TO MAKE PARODIES OF, DOWN THE STYLE WHERE ALL THEY CHANGE IS THE HAIR AND OUTFIT, AND YET SOMETHING WITH DIFFERENCES EVEN DOWN TO THE STYLE LIKE THIS IS SOMETHING YOU THINK IS A TRACE? Do you need a new pair of glasses?
I was gonna ignore this one because it was the same as a lot of the others, but you literally erased Falco’s face line so it would match the sprite, and you covered the bigger boobs Falco gave her, and totally ignored that the angle doesn’t even match properly. Like you covered parts of his sketch in your overlay just to make it look more like it matches, but if you actually fucking overlayed it correctly, even with squashing it, it won’t fit. (Also sorry to point this out Falco, but the circles on your goggle lenses are too small compared to the sprite; Maybe if you actually traced like this person claims you’re doing, they’d be perfectly like the sprite. OH BUT WAIT YOU DREW IT YOURSELF SO OF COURSE THERE’S SOME DIFFERENCES. JUST LIKE HOW EVEN THOUGH ALL YOUR OTHER WORKS ARE REALLY CLOSE TO THE STYLE AND PRETTY MUCH ON MODEL, THEY’RE NOT EXACTLY THE SAME WITH THE SPRITES! SHOCKER...!)
HOLY FUCK. I already pointed out and gave evidence that Falco started on the Nier Automata drawing waaaaaaay before he posted the actual picture. The 2 sketches are sketches! They don’t take a super long time. I busted out 10 inktobers in 1 day. (thumbnails of my artwork below)
Look I even even lined and colored 5 fairly detailed chibis in 1 day (i did the sketches earlier though. btw i hand drew the plaid on ray. it was annoying)
At the moment I have 5 wips. They’ll likely all be done around the same time. I know Falco often has multiple wips as well, and sometimes he also finishes some of them close to each other. Some artists (like my friend Fish) can pump out extremely detailed paintings in less than a day. WOW some artists can draw at a fairly fast rate. WHO KNEW? (manga artists in weekly magazines pump out 15-20 pages of manga in a week)
He’s still developing a style; he’s mostly doing style mimics of series he likes in the mean time.
At the moment he’s mostly experimenting with the drv3 style, but he was practicing p5 earlier. By the way, he DESIGNED a phantom outfit for mishima. Who the heck would he copy that from? He made it up because he loved mishima and wanted to make him part of the gang in some AU fan art. Mishima doesn’t have artwork like this for him to trace, so it should be obvious it’s his own work.
And the pokemon and crash bandicoot ones are actually not that close. The pokemon one looks like a good attempt at imitating the pokemon style, but since he hasn’t practiced it enough, you can tell it’s a little off model because, well, he drew it himself and doesn’t practice the pokemon style a lot. Same with the crash one. Had it been a trace, with his level of control over his lines (which you can’t refute), it would have been much closer.
And you act like it’s a crime to imitate others’ art style. It’s really not. What is wrong with you? Do you want to slow down animation production by only letting the character designer draw everything? Or do you want animation where the art has 0 semblance of consistency because all the artists draw in vastly different styles? lol. What do you have against artists that try to stay on model?
LOL THIS IS ONE IS SO STUPID WHERE DO I EVEN START?
Oh, I KNOW. Why don’t I do that same pose with my own hands?
IT’S A MIDDLE FINGER, YOU IDIOT.
Just because YOU don’t know basic anatomy and can’t tell a middle finger from a pinky, doesn’t mean everyone else is as incompetent as you. He wasn’t doing the rock-on hand pose (sry idk if that pose actually has a name lol), and he’s drawn the rock-on hand pose properly before.
Closing statement
I believe I covered a lot of things and provided a lot of evidence here that Falco and his other friends did not cover in his defense against the false accusations.
I even added more counter arguments in this repost because apparently my original post wasn’t enough to convince people.
Perhaps the person calling him out meant well (no, I doubt it because they made a new side blog just to diss him because they knew if they did it on their actual blog, they’d be called out for being a jerk), but they did not do enough digging to find out if their claims were true or not (and they probably know well enough that they MADE UP THEIR EVIDENCE).
If you’re going to make a call out post, please make triple sure sure of everything before you accuse people. Talk to them first. Talk to those who know them too.
Many jobs require you to be able to draw characters exactly in the style given. Animators for example! There are multiple animators working on one series, and they all need the skill to draw consistently! Some games also have teams that need to be able to draw in the same style so they don’t have to leave everything up to one person. Comic artists often have assistants that help them draw background characters, but those background characters can’t be too different from the main style either.
As for the people who believed the call out post before, it’s perfectly understandable. I am also guilty of falling for similar posts in the past. Due to that, I decided it was best to double check before retweeting (i say retweet because i use twitter far more than tumblr these days. heck i almost never post anything on this blog) things, and if i wasn’t sure, I would just leave it be.
I hope my post was able to convince you on Falco’s innocence and all his hard work. And if you already believed him but checked out this post anyways… Thanks! ObligatoryPleaseWatchAotuWorld.
And again:
Art does NOT exist in a vacuum. All artists are influenced by each other and MANY artists, especially professionals, use a lot of references, whether it be from photographers, their own pictures, others’ artwork, life, or whatever. We all use many different resources. If you’re going to say that’s wrong, you just dismissed millions of artists in the world.

My SUPERCORP Fanfict
“I don’t have an account at archiveofourown.org so I just posted here in my Tumblr acc.”
Take Me on A Test Drive, Baby
desperatedreamers.tumblr.com
Summary:
Lena needs a new car
Kara is a salesgirl at the car dealers
Love at first sight
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Notes:
This is my first Supercorp fanfict, honestly this is also my first story writings in English. I usually only write short poems, so I don’t really understand the rule to write a proper story.
I hope that you will enjoy reading it, even there must be lost of mistakes, I do apologize. THANK YOU
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
“beep.. beep..beep..beep..beep…,” the alarm next to Lena’s bed beeping but she’s still not awake yet. One hour later the alarm still beeping, and finally, “shit, I’m fuckin’ late,” she run to the bathroom to brush her teeth and wash her face, apply some makeup and make a bun and do some other stuff and finally grab her bag and walk out.
“I got no time for breakfast,” she close her apartment door and when she looks for her phone to call her driver she remember that her phone still left on her bed. She grumbled, “darn’ this is going to slow me down”. “Stu’ please wait at the main entrance in 5 minutes,” after saying that to her driver, she close her phone and she tries her best to run to the elevator.
Lena still 15 steps towards the elevator when she sees and old man enters the elevator and she shouts, “Mr. Weizmann please hold the el....,” before she finish her words the elevator door closed. “Ahh.. no!” The old man couldn’t hear her voice because he had a hearing problem. Lena has to wait 3 minutes for another elevator because she stayed at the 25th floor.
“Morning Miss Luthor”. Lena’s driver is a young man around 26 and he politely opens the door for Lena. He always looks nice and neat, because he knows that Lena hates shabby people.
While adjusting her position on the passenger’s seat right behind the driver, Lena gives an instruction, “Stu’ get me to office in 20 minutes.”
The driver looks at Lena with doubt and he raise his shoulder, “I’ll try Miss, but at this hour the traffic is very busy.”
“Well, try your best Stu’, I have a shareholders meeting this morning,” she answer the driver.
For 10 minutes the car stuck in the middle of a traffic jam due to a labor demonstration in front of the city hall. After they are free from that traffic jam, Lena says, “use that shortcut on the right.” Her driver obeys and turns right. Lena feels making a good decision by taking this shortcut, the street seems quiet. “add more speed Stu’, I don’t want to be late for the meeting,” she added.
“Yes Miss Luthor,” and the driver immediately increase the speed twice than before. The car runs smoothly in the paved road.
It will only take 7 minutes to reach L-Corp building. Lena smirk and think that she’ll be there on time, but suddenly a pickup truck loaded with bricks and irons appear from one of the building’s basement in high speed. The pickup truck’s driver is not aware of the street condition and the pickup truck crash at the right side of Lena’s car.
That bump push Lena’s car to the edge of the sidewalk, it make a very loud banging sound follows by a screech sound from the tires. Lena‘s head hit the back of the driver’s seat while the driver face hit the airbags. Luckily Lena sits on the left side so she’s not seriously injured. Pedestrian helps Lena and Stu’ out of the car in no time, while the pickup driver need to wait 10 minutes until the rescue team come because he is pinched in the driver’s seat.
Lena is shock to see the condition of her car, totally damaged. She really needs to buy a new car. She’s really pissed off and wants to confront and scolded the pickup driver for driving carelessly. She sees that the man is seriously injured, so she just let him go. After the accident, paramedics take Lena, her driver and the pickup driver with an ambulance to the nearest hospital. Lena is having a few tests and scans to make sure that everything’s okay in the inside. Doctor gives Lena a medicine to overcome her headache due to the bump.
Lena check her phone and see the number of miscalls from her office, “holy shit, 20 miscalls?” than she dial her secretary, “Jes .”
A voice replied, “miss Luthor, I’ve been trying to call you for more than an hour, but you didn’t answer.”
Suddenly Lena feels her head sore, “ow.. my head!” she holds the right side of her head with her hand.
“Are you okay Miss Luthor?” her secretary voice seems worried.
“I got an accident Jes, the car crashed; sorry I couldn’t phone you earlier, how’s the shareholder’s meeting?” Lena is curious, how’s the shareholder meeting runs without her presence.
“They didn’t take any decision since you were absent, Miss.” Jes answer.
Lena feel guilty about her absence, “oh I see, please send my apologies to them and please let them know what really happened.”
“Yes Miss Luthor” her secretary replied and Lena hang up her phone.
“Now, where must I go? ah yes.. the car dealers as I need a new car as fast as possible” She walks out from the hospital and get in a taxi.
“Where to go ma’am?” the driver ask Lena politely after Lena enters the taxi and take her seat at the back.
“Car dealers you can recommend,” she said. Lena doesn’t have any favorite brand, she prefer the utility than the brand.
“Okay ma’am, I know one nearby” and in 10 minutes they arrive. Lena pays, get off the taxi and walk to the entrance.
A security guard pulls the glass door for Lena, “what can I do for you ma’am?”
“I’m looking for a new car”, Lena reply. Her eyes scan all around that room full of beautiful cars.
“I know someone who can help you, please wait a minute,” he goes inside the office and not too long after that a young woman appears.
Lena has to shake her head and widen her eyes as she sees a very beautiful girl walking towards her. The girl has blonde hair, blue eyes, slim figure with a very charming smile. Lena wonders whether she’s looking at an angel, or is this the effect from the medicine that doctor gave her earlier?
“Hello, I’m Kara Danvers,” she shakes Lena’s hand firmly.
“Lena Luthor,” and Lena smile.
While shaking hands Lena could feel the warmth of Kara’s palm. Kara smells so nice, just like spring morning. After shaking hands, they exchange name cards.
Lena still couldn’t take her eyes off that girl and something catches her attention there’s a stain next to Kara’s lips. Lena raises her forefinger and brush the stain, accidently her finger touch Kara’s lips. “Oh.. Sorry Miss Danvers, it’s my reflex,” Lena blushes and so does Kara.
“It’s okay Miss Luthor, thank you for noticing,” Kara feels happy for receiving extra attention from Lena and that looks so obvious in her gesture.
“Call me Lena please.”
“Then you should call me Kara,” and the girl smile.
“I was eating potstickers for lunch, when the security guy tells that there’s a lovely lady looking for a car and I immediately run to see you without knowing that it left a stain near my lips,” Kara explains.
“Oh dear, sorry you couldn’t eat your lunch properly,“ Lena feels guilty, “I owe you lunch than, Kara.”
“You don’t have too, Lena.”
“I insist, Kara. I’m starving to death,” Lena make a pout that makes Kara smile and finally nod.
“Ok than, I think we still can discuss about cars while eating, any specific food you want?”
“No, you can take me anywhere you like, Kara.”
“Ok, Lena,” than she smile again. Every time Kara smiles, Lena feel her heart pounding even faster.
Lena talks to herself, “this angel is going to give me a heart attack.”
They ride on Kara’s car to get to the restaurant and during the ride Lena just couldn’t stop staring at Kara. Kara blushes and smiles again, “is there anymore stain on my face Lena?”
“No.. no.. no stain. I’m admiring your beauty, err.. your driving skills, Kara.” Lena looks nervous because she’s not supposed to say that, yet.
Kara laugh, “you are really an outspoken person Lena, I get a feeling that you like me, sorry If I’m wrong”
Lena smiles and raises her eyebrow “I just can’t resist admiring beauty, Kara.”
Kara looks at Lena and give her a surprising answers, “me too.”
A voice in Lena’s head says, “oh yes, I might have a chance with her”
Finally they reach the restaurant. Kara picks a table at the corner and they sit down. Lena let Kara choose the menu for her as Kara is more familiar with that place. After they eat, Kara put out some brochures and places them on the table. “Lena, I assumed that you’re looking for a sedan.”
“Exactly Kara” Lena pick one of the brochure and start to read what’s written on it.
Kara starts to explain all the features and comparison between those sedans, like engines, speed, vehicle safety, etc. The more Kara explain, the more Lena get confuse. Kara understand “okay Lena, let me make it easier, you want a sedan that’s safe and can run fast?”
“Yes I do!” Lena nods.
“What else do you need beside that Lena?” Kara looks at Lena with a gaze full of curiosity.
“Umm.. a comfortable and larger passenger’s back seat” Lena answers.
“Oh, I see and what’s that for?” Kara gets more curious.
Lena smirks than say, “so I can cuddle and do stuff with my girlfriend.”
“Oh dear God, Lena..!” Kara laugh so hard because she never thought to get such frankly answer from Lena.
“Okay Lena, let’s get back to see those cars in real, I’ll go and pay the bills first,” Kara stands up.
Lena grabs her hand, “no Kara, let me pay the bill, I’ve told you before.”
“Save it for next time Lena,” Kara winks and walks to the cashier.
Kara’s words give Lena butterflies. Will there be another date? Lena wants to believe it’s true.
A couple of minutes later, “sorry to make you wait Kara.”
“No problem Lena, just take it easy okay,” and Kara smile.
“I need to retouch my makeup” Lena clumsily grins.
“For me you are a goddess with or without makeup Lena,” Kara looked at Lena with a flirtiest stare and it makes Lena blush.
“Oh Kara, with all your words back there and now…,” Lena look at Kara and raise her eyebrow than continue her words, “are you hitting on me?”
Kara laughs and put her hand on Lena’s thigh, “yea, you know I just don’t want to lose a chance of a lifetime.”
“Oh, Kara you’re the sweetest,” Lena smile and give a peck on Kara’s cheek, “is it too fast Kara?”
Kara giggles “nope, I love it,” then they both smile.
They are back at the dealer. “These two cars are my recommendation for you Lena.”
“They looks nice Kara, umm..,” Lena opens the passenger‘s door from one of the car and before she steps in she turn to Kara and ask, “care to join me in here Kara?” Lena bites her lips and reaches out her hand to Kara.
“Absolutely Lena,” Kara giggles and takes Lena’s hand, “so Lena what do you think, is this car as you expected?”
Lena doesn’t answer but she draws closer to Kara and makes a surprising move. Kara realizes that now Lena is sitting on her lap with a face only some inch away from her face. “Is this as you expected Kara?” Lena winks her eyes.
Kara looks freeze due to that sudden move from a stranger that she merely meets.
Lena seems unaffected by that freeze, her fingers dance freely on Kara’s face, touching just everything. When her finger touch Kara’s lips it stop. “I know a proper kind of touch for this part,” Lena bring her face closer to Kara and press her lips on Kara’s lips, that kiss unfreeze Kara.
Kara in control of herself again and she knows how to react to this situation. Kara wraps her arms around Lena’s waist and now they are kissing and caressing intensely. Both of them are lost in their own world, forgetting time and the real intention regarding to the car.
A screech of a metal door brings them back to reality, “what sound is that Kara?”
Kara look at her watch, “it’s closing time Lena” Kara pat on Lena’s thigh, “you now can descend from my lap, princess.”
“Ah.. yes, sorry,” Lena blush. Both of them get out of the car from different door.
“Were both of you in there for hours?” They recognize the voice, it’s the security guard. They also see some pairs of eyes are staring at them with confusion.
“Oh.. hi guys, no, nope we’re in there for a couple of minutes” both Kara and Lena smile clumsily reacted to the awkward situation, “let’s go Lena,” Kara holds Lena’s hand and pull her away from the crowd and they hear another voice, “nice move Danvers.”
Kara and Lena standing outside the dealers building .“I do apologize about what had happen Lena; this is out of my style, I never mix work with pleasure.”
Lena put her finger on Kara’s lips, “shush Kara, it’s not your fault, I started it.”
Kara smile and stroke Lena’s hair, “you’re too charming, princess,” she continues, “about the car, if you like we can do a test drive tomorrow.”
“Good idea Kara, I will empty my schedule to run a test drive with you,” Lena winks. They both laugh.
“Need a ride home Lena?” Kara looks at Lena and winks back.
“Sure Kara thanks,” Lena feels so excited that Kara will drive her home.
They arrive at Lena’s apartment, but Kara’s car doesn’t stop at the main entrance, it goes directly to the parking lot.
“You can just drop me there Kara.” Lena pointed at the main entrance.
“No Lena, not without a proper goodbye.” Kara answers with a serious tone.
Kara and Lena walks hand in hand from the parking lot to the main entrance. Their faces look glowing, even under the moonlight. They stop at the main entrance.
Lena looks at Kara in the eyes, “Thank you for such an amazing time, Kara.”
“The pleasure is mine Lena, I’ll pick you up tomorrow at 10 AM?” than Kara smiles.
Lena nods, “yes, 10 AM sounds good Kara.”
They hug and Kara landed a kiss on Lena’s forehead, as she’s way taller than Lena.
“Would you care for some drinks?” Lena asks.
Kara answers, “I would love to princess, but you look so tired.”
Lena does look tired, as today has given her too many surprises that she can ever imagine.
“Ok than,” Lena smiles weakly.
“Hey princess don’t be too upset okay,” Kara holds Lena’s arms and she stroke Lena’s hair, “there are still many days await us” Kara look deeply to Lena’s eyes and says “you have captured my heart.”
Lena smile and close her eyes, Kara knows that she must kiss her princess now. Kara presses her lips against Lena’s lips and they kiss lightly.
“I love you Lena.”
“I love you too Kara.”
Both of them wave goodbye but it’s not a sad goodbye, because they know tomorrow they will meet again and the seeds of love that they’ve planted today will grow beautifully through the years.

College football picks, schedule: Predictions against the spread, odds for key top 25 games in Week 5
The 2020 college football season has been anything but normal so far, and that includes in the SEC, which was the defending national champions upset last week as it began play. Now entering Week 5 of the overall season, the SEC truly takes centerstage with the two biggest games of the day.
No. 2 Alabama hosts No. 13 Texas A&M in the SEC on CBS Game of the Week as Jimbo Fisher — in Year 3 with the Aggies — looks to become the first Nick Saban assistant ever to topple his boss. The Crimson Tide are heavily favored in the contest, but in this wild season it seems like anything can happen in a given game. There is also the first top-10 showdown of the season in the evening as No. 4 Georgia hosts No. 7 Auburn in one of the SEC’s biggest rivalry games. Will the Bulldogs have their quarterback situation worked out, or will the Tigers pull off the upset as a near-touchdown underdog?
Elsewhere on the schedule, No. 1 Clemson, No. 3 Florida and No. 9 Texas all face conference foes in key early-season matchups ahead of bigger games on their slate. The Gators and Longhorns are in action early in the day, while the Tigers will serve as Saturday’s nightcap.
Let’s take a look at the biggest games on the schedule Saturday along with our picks and predictions for what will transpire in those contests. Our CBS Sports college football experts have picked every game both straight up and against the spread, giving you ample opportunity to decide how to make your picks ahead of kickoff.
Odds via William Hill Sportsbook | All times Eastern
South Carolina at No. 3 Florida (-17.5) — Noon on ESPN: The Gamecocks are just 1-3 against the Gators in Will Muschamp’s tenure, but their average margin of defeat in those three losses is just 9.3 points. South Carolina scored 27 against Florida last season and 31 in 2018. Given how vulnerable Florida’s defense looked against Ole Miss, it’s a safe bet that South Carolina will reach at least 20 points. And with some veterans in the secondary, South Carolina should be able to keep Florida from turning this into a complete blowout. Pick: South Carolina +17.5 — David Cobb
TCU at No. 9 Texas (-13) — Noon on FOX: Given Texas’ struggles against the pass, TCU could hold its own in this game. The Horned Frogs had nice ball distribution against Iowa State with nine guys catching at least two passes. However, I’m worried about their pass protection. Additionally, Sam Ehlinger has to be a playmaker and he showed he can lead a comeback if he’s called upon. I think he makes enough plays for Texas to get the home W, but I’m not loving the defense to make the necessary stops to win by two full touchdowns. Pick: TCU +13 — Ben Kercheval
No. 13 Texas A&M at No. 2 Alabama (-17) — 3:30 p.m. on CBS: I’ve always had a pretty solid rule of thumb when picking Alabama games in the SEC. Generally, when Alabama is at home, you want to bet against it. It does a much better job of covering the spread when on the road. But when we look closer at the results, the Crimson Tide performs better at home with larger spreads. In 26 SEC games under Nick Saban when they’ve been favored by 17 points or more — like they are here — they’ve gone 16-10 ATS. When I see that trend and combine it with how soundly Alabama has beaten the Aggies recently, it’s hard to go any other way here. Pick: Alabama (-17) — Tom Fornelli

Visit SportsLine to see which teams will win and cover the spread — all from a proven computer model that has returned over $4,000 in profit over the past four-plus seasons — and find out.
No. 18 Oklahoma (-7) at Iowa State — 7:30 p.m. on ABC: Home-field advantage isn’t a thing like it used to be, in part because of COVID-19’s effects on stadium capacity. Still, the Cyclones shouldn’t have any problem bringing their own juice for this one. This is a rare opportunity to not only reinsert yourself back into the Big 12 Championship Game conversation but give the Sooners rare back-to-back losses while fully exposing them as a vulnerable team. Iowa State can punch plays up, and the offense sprinkles in some big plays, so give me the Cyclones to keep it at least within a touchdown. But we’ll find out if Iowa State’s passing game has enough to pull the outright upset. Pick: Iowa State +7.5 — Ben Kercheval
No. 7 Auburn at No. 4 Georgia (-6.5) — 7:30 p.m. on ESPN: Georgia’s quarterback situation is an absolute mess. JT Daniels got medically cleared this week, but just how healthy is he? Is he capable of playing at the level he was at before injuring his knee in the season-opener last season? These are valid questions — especially considering it took so long for him to get cleared by doctors. Whether it’s Daniels or Stetson Bennett, Auburn’s defense will bring the heat early and often, forcing multiple mistakes from the Georgia offense. Yes, Georgia’s defense is great. Maybe the best in the country. But all Auburn has to do is find a way to get to 20 points in this one to not only cover but get the win outright. Pick: Auburn +6.5 — Barrett Sallee
Virginia at No. 1 Clemson (-28) — 8 p.m. on ACC Network: To me, this pick — not the game, but the pick — comes down to Virginia’s offensive line. That group has come a long way since it was a glaring weakness at times for the Wahoos offense, where Bryce Perkins’ athleticism and escapability was not only a feature but a necessity for success. They are an experienced group in 2020, and the success they had against Duke suggests it’s improved in a way that makes running the offense a little bit easier for new starter Brennan Armstrong. But Duke’s defensive line is not Clemson’s defensive line, and if Myles Murphy, Bryan Bresee and the rest of that group dominate like they did against Wake Forest, it will be difficult to get any kind of rhythm going on offense or extend drives to keep the ball out of Trevor Lawrence’s hands. It might not be another 42-point win, but I feel pretty good about Clemson winning that position battle, Lawrence having 3-4 total touchdowns, and the Tigers winning by at least 30. Pick: Clemson (-28)

● SPHERE NOVEMBER EVALUATION: INTERROGATION !
NOVEMBER 30TH, 2017 A MOCK INTERVIEW
he’s almost embarrassed to admit how nervous he is for the end of the month— perhaps more so than he has been for an evaluation in a long time, if ever. after all, it’s no secret that talking is not seungcheol’s forte.
it has to be said, however, that amongst all the nerves is a building excitement. the particularly appropriate challenge for this month’s stressful final day only serves as a reminder of what’s to come — endless grilling from the public, perfecting answers to questions he should never have to expect and, thus, of course, debut. momentarily, his mind wanders to his million curiosities about how it’ll all unfold, but he doesn’t allow it to stray too far, since they’re about to start and seungcheol already knows that actually listening is the most important part of an interview.
his coach makes himself comfortable in the seat opposite him, prepared with questions hidden to seungcheol’s eye. ( though, admittedly, as tempting as it might be, seungcheol is far too scared of being caught to have even tried sneaking a peek. ) anything could be written on those papers, and whilst seungcheol doesn’t think he’s ever done anything to be challenged on in an unanswerable question, it doesn’t hurt to anticipate the worst. he’ll either get what he expected or be pleasantly surprised to be spared; isn’t that foolproof? he supposes he’ll find out.
“please introduce yourself.”
easy enough, he thinks. “h-hello! I’m s.coups, o-one of convex’s m-main rappers.” he hesitates to playfully add ‘dancing black hole’, but quickly decides against it. it’s difficult to get his tone across when he’s stumbling over his words like this and he’d rather not be misinterpreted. still, he knows he can’t leave it at that — it’s far too plain, tells the coach nothing about him as a person or a performer. he inwardly cringes as he considers his trainee title as a last resort after he’s left too long of a pause between answers, but the moment has passed before he can think of anything else.
“we hear you’re ‘sphere’s scaredy cat’. where did this come from?”
he supposes it’s wishful thinking to think he’ll ever escape it. he doesn’t mind it too much; after all, he gave himself the name. he just doesn’t want it to be his only identity after debut. he’s much more than a scaredy cat, really. “I get st-startled v-very easily.” he breathes out a weak chuckle. “l-loud noises, mostly, so y-you can imagine w-what it’s l-like for me living in a d-dorm of th-thirteen.” speculation, of course, but he doesn’t think it’ll be far off the truth.
“it’s becoming expected now for rappers to write their own lyrics. you don’t. why?”
he sucks in a deep breath. “for a long time, I’ve been p-passionate about making rap more acc-accessible to all. I w-want to rid the industry of th-this idea that you ha-have you have an extensive b-background in underground r-rapping to be a rapper. o-of course, if you h-have that, that’s great, b-b-b-but— I think it discourages a lot of y-young people from pursuing rap.” his eyes widen in panic, wondering if he’s perhaps talking too much or even sounding judgemental to those who have that experience under their belt. of course, he doesn’t mean any harm by his comments; he can’t help that his own experiences with underground rappers has so often been sour. “I want to be a g-great idol rapper, so I c-can inspire mo-more future idols to feel c-confident in their skills.”
“we heard that you sang for your audition, though. if rap is so important to you, why did you sing?”
“singing is important to me, too.” he answers evenly, the first sentence to come out free of trembles. maybe it’s because it feels like an attack, like he can’t be passionate about more than one thing, like he’s being accused of being unfocused, indecisive. “I’m v-versatile musically. rap is my f-focus, but I have a lot of tr-tricks up my sleeve I h-hope to show more as time passes. at the time, I had o-only singing publicly for a f-few months, so it fe-felt right to h-honour that new e-era of my life.”
“you also sing monthly on your youtube channel, right? can you tell us more about that? we’re all curious who WZ is.”
he laughs heartily, a soft pink dusting his cheeks. he wonders if they truly feel as if they’re catching him out here; as if he’s going to stumble ( not too much of a stretch to believe ) over an excuse for ‘WZ’s identity, but the real truth is— “WZ is convex’s shortest lead dancer, lee jihoon!” it’s rather noticeable how his stutter drops immediately at the mention of his best friend, and even more obvious how his features light up and his shoulders relax. his hands hidden under the table have stopped rubbing against one another, instead animatedly gesturing as he speaks. “we share a love for gfriend’s music, so I decided to dedicate the first cover of my monthly project to him. it’s also one of the two videos I showed him when I told him about the channel and my past with singing, so it has a lot of sentimental value.” his eyes curve as he pauses for a few beats. “my monthly project started as a way to ensure I uploaded semi-regularly on that channel,” and a way to keep sane through the rollercoaster that was 2016, he bites his tongue, “but it’s also now a testament to my growth both musically and personally over the past— wow, almost two years. you can see how I’ve matured from the early days, writing out raps to avoid bringing my two worlds together, to now. there’s so much more vibrancy in my covers now, even if I do have to record them late at night after training.” he chuckles, running a hand through his hair, hoping his blush isn’t too obvious.
“speaking of jihoon, you two seem to be close. you’ve both posted about each other on instagram and you speak very fondly of him.”
“jihoon and I have been best friends for almost four years. we’re— kind of opposites in a lot of ways and that’s why we work so well together. jihoon’s helped me through a lot, and he’s helped me to get closer with the other convex boys, whether he realises it or not.” he has a proud grin on his gentle features as he thinks to the endless encouragement the younger gives him, the unconditional support and patience. he nods softly. “it’s through his friendship that I’ve grown more confident in myself and learnt to take risks. where he is brave, I am cowardly, and where I am gentle, he can be unintentionally sharp. he has an attention to detail I don’t, and I have a nagging voice he sometimes needs. we’re always helping one another grow to be better and better versions of ourselves.” he hums quietly. “I have lots to learn from every member of convex; charisma from hyun, dance from the performance unit—” he pales, realising he’d uttered the word he’d been trying to avoid.
“it’s no secret that dance isn’t your strong point. in a predebut performance in july, you fell a lot. do you think you’ve improved since then?”
they really don’t hold back, he thinks, blinking once, twice, before he snaps back to reality. july is still a month he doesn’t really enjoy looking back on, and that much must be obvious, or he doubts they’d have honed in on it specifically. “I d-definitely still have a long way to go,” he admits, “but it’s something my interest in is growing in ra-rapidly. I’ve been working on it a lot recently, so please anticipate my next stage! you’ll see!” he smiles brightly, sighing inwardly in relief.
“you didn’t take the college entrance exams, correct? so if you weren’t an idol, what would you be doing?
“music.” he answers immediately, not a moment of hesitation. “being an idol is the path th-through music that I want more than anything, but it’s not the only path. I have an interest in classical music, too, and a particularly strong interest in movie scores. my family also own a music store, so I would find a way to be part of music somehow.” he nods, adding quietly, “it’s my destiny.”
“why do you think you deserve to debut?”
“hard work, dedication and passion; just like everyone else. everyone deserves to debut if their heart is in it.” it’s probably not the answer he should be giving. maybe he should be selling himself, talking about how he alone has worked hard and how baek jiyoung deems him ready and he feels it in his bones, too, that this is the right time, but it’s not in his nature. he knows idols are supposed to lie from time to time— white lies for the sake of image aren’t foreign to him, but had he or had he not worked so hard to rid himself of that? to be honest? he doesn’t think he has a personality that’s particularly un-idol-friendly, so maybe he’s reasonably safe. maybe his white lies can be about ideal types and how easy he is to wake up in the morning. we’ll see, he thinks.
“finally, what are your goals for the future? do you want to have a solo career on the side one day? perhaps acting or modelling? radio hosting?”
“my only goal is to continue to better myself for fans and for the other boys; to be the best performer I can each and every time I step on stage, and never to give up or falter. I want to help convex grow to being a highly respected name; a group that is known for their charms and performance skills. anything beyond that, solo activities, modelling contracts, for myself alone are bonuses.” still, he laughs softly as he adds, “that being said, I’d really love to go on king of masked singer, or something similar, one day.”
once he’s finished talking and the coach clicks the lid shut on his pen, he breathes a sigh of relief. he doesn’t doubt that he’ll launch into a full analysis of his performance in a few minutes, once he’s organised his criticisms into a more natural order, but for now, he can’t say he doesn’t expect the obvious, “you definitely need to work on that stutter,” that fills the stifling silence.
“I’m w-w-working on it.”
the coach doesn’t make eye contact as he adds, “and to think you considered yourself a contender as a leader with it.” he bites his bottom lip nervously, hands returning to rubbing against one another under the table. it’s not a statement he’s undeserving of and perhaps that’s why it stings so much more than he expects at first, digging into his confidence and dragging it into the ground. he wants to argue, clarify that he didn’t explicitly name himself for it, he simply laid everything on the table, said he’d do anything because he would— if it meant pleasing everyone, he’d do it— but it’s not worth it. he has to develop a thick skin, anyway, right? then comments like this ( and worse ) won’t hurt so much after debut.
he can see it now: convex’s black hole, convex’s unlucky number 13. he chews through the skin.
his pride was fun while it lasted, at least.

Get Free PSN Codes
The main advantage of PlayStation® Network Card (psn card) is the ability to pay for the services in your PlayStation Store with it instead of a credit card. since one person asked me to, here’s a post recommending some roguelikes!
if you don’t know what a roguelike is, it’s a game where, once you die, you start over. the fun is often in getting better, and defeating enemies you couldn’t defeat before. it’s pretty dang fun.
(i was gonna write a lot more, but bleh to that.)
anyway! starting with my two personal favourites:
RISK OF RAIN a game where every second that passes means a harder, tougher, game. the graphics are gorgeous pixel-art, and the soundtrack is pretty damn rad. it’s probably my favourite, even though i don’t talk about it at all. (and haven’t played in a while >o>;) plus, it’s finished!
THE BINDING OF ISAAC: REBIRTH probably the most popular roguelike. i’ve personally spent 200+ hours on it, so. the art is pretty cute, and a lot of people praise the soundtrack (personally i turn off the music and listen to my own shit, but that’s probably because i’ve spent so much time on it) there’s also two DLC! Afterbirth and Afterbirth+, both of which i’d recommend, though if you’re not sure, just buy rebirth first! there’s also fanmods a plenty, and have i mentioned the main character?? because you will Want To Protect him very fast. (there’s also kind of a story, but it’s not like... in your face? it’s mostly in cutscenes you get after beating the round) it’s also finished!
ENTER THE GUNGEON the game which i’ve been playing a lot, recently. it’s super fun, and also hard, but i’m having a damn blast playing it. it just got extra stuff added (for free!), so even though the base game is finished, there’s still more stuff a-coming! i’d definitely recommend this one; it’s kind of quirky, and a lot of fun, and just- it’s really fun, okay?
NUCLEAR THRONE in the same vein as Enter the Gungeon, is this game! it actually came before Gungeon, but whatever, i do what i want. much like Gungeon it’s quirky, super fun to play, and also hard. it’s also finished.
CRYPT OF THE NECRODANCER probably the most unique game on this list, it’s a rhythm-rougelike! the music is top quality, and it’s super easy to sink a lot of time into it. it just recently got an DLC, Amplified, which is in early acces!
DARKEST DUNGEON the oh god how do you not die game. Darkest Dungeon is a bit different in that, once you die, you don’t start over- instead, you lose the characters you’ve spent hard work leveling up, and start over with new characters. it’s fun. :) it is also a pretty damn grim game, with lovecraftian elements, a ‘dark’ artstyle, and a system which will fuck you over (or save your ass). beside hp, there’s a thing called ‘sanity’ which will drop the further you explore into the dungeon. when it drops completely, your hero will either crack, or go full blown saint. this is one of the hardest games on the list, i think, but it’s also a lot of fun. also, the narrator has a very delicious voice. i’d definitely recommend watching the intro.
DON’T STARVE (TOGETHER) another of my favourites! together is a multi-player version, which is probably the more popular one. it’s super fun to play with others! anyway, DS is by the awesome company Klei, who makes super awesome games. the art style is FANTASTIC, the world is amazing, and the characters are all precious and lovely. there is story, but it’s one you have to seek out yourself. there’s also DLC, which changes up the formula and adds more characters. there’s Reign of Giants, which adds a weather system and giants that’ll fucking murder you; Shipwrecked, which strands you on an island, and forces you to make boats and shit. it’s really an amazing game, and i’d recommend it any day. (though, fair warning: i personally get a bit nauseous playing it. you might be the same, i dunno.)
GONNER the actual cutest roguelike ever??? the art is fantastic, and the music is amazing, and YOU HAVE A WHALE FRIEND. it’s also pretty tough, as per usual. it is also finished.
CATACOMB KIDS i’m currently playing this, and having a fucking blast. it’s still in alpha, which means it’s nowhere near finished, but damn, is it good so far! unlike most roguelike, it has swords! and not guns! also it has spears, which has gained my forever love.
VAGANTE in the same vein as Catacomb Kids is Vagante! it’s a lot more polished, but it’s also still in early access. i haven’t actually played this recently? but it’s got a great art style, and it’s super fun.
DOWNWELL i honestly love this game. it’s a neat little one, with pretty pixel graphics, and fun gameplay. it’s really cheap too! i’m not sure why exactly i love this one as much as i do, but it’s a lotta fun.
ROGUE LEGACY another ‘unique’ one, in Rogue Legacy when you die, you start again as the dead hero’s kid. it’s pretty damn tough, and i’m nowhere near beating it, even though i’ve played like 19 hours.
SPELUNKY remember how i said Isaac was the most popular roguelike? i lied, this is the one. Spelunky is pretty dang known in the gaming-circle, and it does live up to that fame. it’s super tough, but also fun. it can, however, get very frustrating.
FTL: FASTER THAN LIGHT space game! roguelike- in space!! FTL is another one of those ‘famous’ ones, and it most definitely lives up to that fame. it’s fun, and also tough as fuck, and it’s kind of a delight?? also there’s aliens.
THE FLAME IN THE FLOOD i literally just played an hour of this, just so i could recommend it. because the game looks awesome, and from what i’ve played, it’s pretty great! it’s a survival roguelike, and you gotta travel from island to island. plus, you got a dog.
NEO SCAVENGER i love this game, honestly. it’s mostly text-based, and it’s not quite roguelike, but fuck it, i’m putting it here anyway- it fits the criteria well enough. it’s really fun to play, and it doesn’t matter that there’s not much visually going on.
DUNGEON OF THE ENDLESS this game is super duper pretty, turn-based, and i don’t know, i just really like it?
KINGDOM this apparently isn’t an roguelike either, but it feels like one, so. in this one, you gotta build up your kingdom, and not die. it’s pretty neat, and also pretty pretty.
ONE WAY HEROICS oh man, this game. it’s barely ever talked about, but it’s super fun. it’s kind of an old style JRPG, except an roguelike. basically, you can only go one way, and you have to constantly move, because otherwise you die. it’s really fun, super cheap, and also funny.
DUNGEONS OF DREDMORE okay so personally, i don’t care much about this game, but it’s pretty popular? it’s kind of in the style of old rpg games, kind of ala tabletop games, and stuff. it’s kind ‘quirky’, but obviously not in a bad way. it is kind of fun, and i probably just have to give it another chance.
DEVIL DAGGERS okay so, this isn’t really a roguelike either, but it feels like one, and it does kind of fit the criteria. also i do what i want, fight me. anyway, Devil Daggers is.... a really, really, hard game. like: the first hundred times you probably won’t even last over a minute. but, the combat is pretty damn fluid/fun, and the art style is just. REALLY RAD. also there’s a lot of ‘listening’ to figure out where your enemies are, and just- i really like this game, even though i haven’t even played 30 minutes.
anyway, that’s more or less it! all of the roguelikes i have (and would recommend)! there’s obviously some good ones i don’t have yet, and some of these aren’t quite roguelikes, but they’re pretty damn close. hopefully you’ll like one of these, and find a new game to love. (◡‿◡✿)

Systems Monitoring: top vs Htop vs Glances
When developing a piece of software or monitoring a running system both telemetry and context are important. After one understands what is normal behaviour in a historical context the two most pressing questions are often (1) what's changed? and (2) what's acting abnormally?
In this post I'm going to look at three popular tools often used for ad-hoc monitoring as well as look at a simplistic solution for monitoring distributed systems.
top
In virtually any modern UNIX-like system you can type top and see a variety of system performance metrics updating every few seconds.
top - 09:43:05 up 1:08, 0 users, load average: 0.52, 0.58, 0.59 Tasks: 4 total, 1 running, 3 sleeping, 0 stopped, 0 zombie %Cpu0 : 4.1 us, 22.2 sy, 0.0 ni, 72.3 id, 0.0 wa, 1.4 hi, 0.0 si, 0.0 st %Cpu1 : 4.3 us, 7.1 sy, 0.0 ni, 87.7 id, 0.0 wa, 0.9 hi, 0.0 si, 0.0 st %Cpu2 : 4.4 us, 9.0 sy, 0.0 ni, 85.3 id, 0.0 wa, 1.2 hi, 0.0 si, 0.0 st %Cpu3 : 3.6 us, 6.7 sy, 0.0 ni, 88.6 id, 0.0 wa, 1.0 hi, 0.0 si, 0.0 st KiB Mem: 33431016 total, 9521052 used, 23909964 free, 34032 buffers KiB Swap: 62455548 total, 27064 used, 62428484 free. 188576 cached Mem PID USER PR NI VIRT RES SHR S %CPU %MEM TIME+ COMMAND 1 root 20 0 8304 132 104 S 0.0 0.0 0:00.14 /init ro 3 root 20 0 8308 96 56 S 0.0 0.0 0:00.00 /init ro 4 mark 20 0 17856 5308 5192 S 0.0 0.0 0:00.35 -bash 228 mark 20 0 14452 1668 1172 R 0.0 0.0 0:00.01 top -b -n2 -d5
The binary running is most like a version of top written by James Warner of Comcast. This version of top is entirely new and was built as a replacement to a previous version written by developers from a variety of organisations including Lockheed Martin and Heidelberg University.
The top.c source code itself is reasonably simplistic and as of this writing was around ~4,900 lines of C code. Top is still in active development to this day and its source code can be seen with the rest of the procps repository on GitLab. Other utilities found in this repo include kill, ps, sysctl, uptime and watch.
The default layout feels timeless to me but over the decades I've been working with UNIX systems I've developed a mussel memory for typing zc1M every time I bring up top on a new machine.
Top uses a monochrome display mode by default so z will toggle into a colour-mapping mode. The number 1 will display separate CPU states and does a good job at highlighting single CPU core-bound loads. I like to view processes sorted by their pressure on memory capacity by typing M. In total there are 49 metrics top can view and sort on.
Commands are truncated by default and typing c will give more extended information on their paths and arguments. My only complaint with this is that it's the end of the commands and arguments that are truncated; it would be more useful to just keep the beginning and end of each command and argument string in order to differentiate between processes.
The changes to top's configuration will only last as long as the session. To avoid this, type uppercase W and it'll save the current configuration to ~/.toprc by default. My only annoyance with this file is that it contains byte values above 0x7F and isn't easy to edit outside of top.
$ hexdump -C ~/.toprc | head

Htop
In 2004, Hisham Muhammad began work on creating a distinctly different systems telemetry monitor. Htop put a focus on telemetry display organisation. There are bar charts for key CPU and memory metrics, processes can toggle between a flat list and a hierarchy via the F5 shortcut, field sorted can be done via mouse clicks and there are seven different colour modes are supported.
The software does a good job of keeping you within the application. If you want to inspect the files a process is using you can select the process and simply type l, if you want to run the process through strace simply type s while running htop as a privileged user.
Below will install and run htop on Ubuntu 16.04.2 LTS.
$ sudo apt install htop $ htop
1 [ 0.0%] Tasks: 37, 145 thr; 1 running 2 [ 0.0%] Load average: 0.03 0.05 0.07 3 [ 0.0%] Uptime: 01:31:42 4 [ 0.0%] Mem[|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||| 1.03G/3.84G] Swp[ 0K/4.00G] PID USER PRI NI VIRT RES SHR S CPU% MEM% TIME+ Command 1 root 20 0 37556 5668 4004 S 0.0 0.1 0:03.03 /sbin/init noprompt 27884 clickhous 20 0 3716M 359M 49184 S 0.7 9.1 0:24.93 ├─ /usr/bin/clickhouse-server --config=/etc/cli 29668 clickhous 20 0 3716M 359M 49184 S 0.0 9.1 0:00.10 │ ├─ /usr/bin/clickhouse-server --config=/etc/ 29667 clickhous 20 0 3716M 359M 49184 S 0.0 9.1 0:01.02 │ ├─ /usr/bin/clickhouse-server --config=/etc/ 29666 clickhous 20 0 3716M 359M 49184 S 0.0 9.1 0:00.08 │ ├─ /usr/bin/clickhouse-server --config=/etc/ 29665 clickhous 20 0 3716M 359M 49184 S 0.0 9.1 0:00.48 │ ├─ /usr/bin/clickhouse-server --config=/etc/ 29409 clickhous 20 0 3716M 359M 49184 S 0.0 9.1 0:03.48 │ ├─ /usr/bin/clickhouse-server --config=/etc/ 29408 clickhous 20 0 3716M 359M 49184 S 0.0 9.1 0:02.15 │ ├─ /usr/bin/clickhouse-server --config=/etc/
In terms of configuration, any changes made while using the software will be saved automatically to ~/.config/htop/htoprc by default. This file is text-based but comes with the following warning:
$ head -n2 ~/.config/htop/htoprc
# Beware! This file is rewritten by htop when settings are changed in the interface. # The parser is also very primitive, and not human-friendly.
The source code is still quiet small given the functionality on offer. As of this writing there's a total of ~12,000 lines of C code with other files making up a further ~3,000 lines of code.
Glances
Glances is a Python-based systems telemetry monitor. The project was started by Nicolas Hennion in 2011. Nicolas' LinkedIn profile states he works in the South of France as a Project Manager in the Satellite Control Centre Department for Thales Alenia Space.
When you launch Glances, in addition to the regular CPU, memory and process lists, you'll see the Cloud virtual machine type as well as network, disk and docker container activity to name just a few items.

Glances is written with ~10K lines of Python, ~25K lines of JavaScript and relies on the psutil package for it's telemetry collection. There are a huge variety of plugins including support for monitoring GPUs, Kafka, RAID setups, folder monitoring and WiFi to name a few.
In addition to the ncurses-based interface, Glances can also run as a web application. When you run glances via cmd.exe on Windows 10 it'll launch a Bottle-based Web Application on TCP port 61209. When you load up http://127.0.0.1:61209/ in a web browser you'll be greeted with an AngularJS-based Application that mimics the ncurses interface.
There is an API exposed as well if you want to consume it with other tools.
$ curl http://127.0.0.1:61209/api/3/all \ | python -mjson.tool \ | head -n50

The default configuration file is somewhat lengthy but is friendly enough for human editing.
Glances also supports exporting telemetry to over 16 different targets including statsd, Kafka, RabbitMQ, JSON, SVG, Elasticsearch, CSV as well as to bespoke RESTful APIs.
Feeding Glances into Kafka
Below I'll walk through exporting telemetry to a CSV file and then feeding that into Kafka. My thinking behind this is that local disk is usually more reliable than network connections and if the network connection were to fail the local file could be backfilled into Kafka again.
The following was run on a fresh installation of Ubuntu 16.04.2 LTS.
$ sudo apt update $ sudo apt install \ kafkacat \ python-pip \ python-virtualenv \ screen \ zookeeperd
I'll install Kafka manually using the binary package distributed by one of Apache's mirrors.
$ sudo mkdir -p /opt/kafka $ wget -c -O kafka.tgz \ http://www-eu.apache.org/dist/kafka/1.1.1/kafka_2.11-1.1.1.tgz $ sudo tar xzvf kafka.tgz \ --directory=/opt/kafka \ --strip 1
I'll then create a log file for Kafka which will be owned by my UNIX account.
$ sudo touch /var/log/kafka.log $ sudo chown mark /var/log/kafka.log
Much of Kafka's distributed functionality is supported by ZooKeeper. The following command will launch the service.
$ sudo /etc/init.d/zookeeper start
With ZooKeeper up I'll launch Kafka's server process.
$ sudo nohup /opt/kafka/bin/kafka-server-start.sh \ /opt/kafka/config/server.properties \ > /var/log/kafka.log 2>&1 &
I'll then create a Python virtual environment and install Glances as well as CSVKit so I can analyse the CSV output from Glances.
$ virtualenv ~/.monitoring $ source ~/.monitoring/bin/activate $ pip install \ csvkit \ glances
Below I'll launch a screen session and start Glances. It will both display the ncurses interface as well as write 215 pieces of telemetry to ~/glances.csv.
$ screen $ glances --export csv \ --export-csv-file ~/glances.csv
Once that's running type CTRL-A and then CTRL-D to return to your regular shell.
As you can see, there is a large amount of telemetry being collected.
$ csvstat --type ~/glances.csv | tail
206. mem_available: Number 207. mem_used: Number 208. mem_cached: Number 209. mem_percent: Number 210. mem_free: Number 211. mem_inactive: Number 212. mem_active: Number 213. mem_shared: Number 214. mem_total: Number 215. mem_buffers: Number
Kafkacat is a non-JVM Kafka producer and consumer that's written in C. When statically linked it's less than 150 KB in size. Below I'll use it to feed the contents of ~/glances.csv into a Kafka topic called "glances_log" and use Snappy compression on the contents.
$ screen $ tail -F ~/glances.csv \ | kafkacat -b localhost:9092 \ -t glances_log \ -z snappy
Again, once that's running type CTRL-A and then CTRL-D to return to your regular shell.
Any of the above commands running in screen sessions could be easily added to Supervisord. It would do a good job of restarting processes if they were to fail for any reason.
With all the above running I'll take a look at the first three columns of data for the first 100 records.
$ /opt/kafka/bin/kafka-console-consumer.sh \ --topic glances_log \ --from-beginning \ --zookeeper localhost:2181 \ | head -n100 \ | csvstat --columns 1-3 \ --no-header-row
Below are the statistics for the timestamp column, number of CPU cores and 1-minute load averages collected in the first 100 records.
