What first drew you to this character? ngl...... he's old, he's Garlean, he's tragic, he has A Big Snoot, he was basically made for me 🥰🥰 there was a lot of like, mystery leading up to his reveal where we were convinced he was gonna be Nerva (and i have to say i had a FIRM tinhat he might be Noah van Gabranth cos i'm nothing if not hopeful apparently!!!) but in the end, i'm glad it was Quintus.

also, clearly cos he's my fave, he's also very disliked in the xiv fandom, which made it depressing as FUCK to navigate after Endwalker without coming across suicide jokes constantly

vyn is somebody i, unfortunately, imagine to sound british. or some kind of european accent. in addition to that, im looking for a voice that has an air of elegance and hoity toity-ness. and the only va that came to my mind was Yuri Lowenthal ala how he voiced eng Clive in Professor Layton and the Unwound Future. but like SOUNDING OLDER. bc clive is like some kind of teenager and thus has some high pitched/voice crack moments. vyn would be this but deeper, smoother, and generally just lower in pitch

artem is somebody i also envision a low voice for, but in terms of vibes, it's less of a floral garden path like vyn and more of a dark, polished wood. LIKE, IT'S SOPHISTICATED BUT IN A MORE GROUNDED WAY. like instead of this voice making me go "huh what an elegant dude" it makes me go "huh what a steady, reliable dude. somebody to trust and also somebody i want to hear give me compliments on my writing." and my va for this is Logan Cunningham ala how he voiced Achilles in Hades. but this voice is again, british (or something, idk anything about europe) and i dont think artem would sound british. he would sound like this without the british, a dude i would want audio asmr of giving me sweet and sincere comments about my skills, calm and assured, just the most earnest and honeyed praise

I've finally started woe.begone and im only on episode 6 but you are right, Mike is very muchunhinged, and I was expecting a very gradually spiral into that but no he's just starts out that way, Im kinda terrified to see him progress cause Im pretty sure he gets worse judging by the posts ive seen from you.
