Lance can’t quite figure out how he got here.

Well, that’s a half lie, he knows exactly how he invited himself onto Fernando’s yacht, can precisely recall the moment where he scribbled a message onto the wine bottle before he wrapped it and the hat up for secret Santa, can’t wait to share it scrawled hastily on the label of one of his dad’s priceless pinots. It hadn’t been a big deal, though, because this was Fernando, and he and Lance were friends, teammates, two guys who could have a drink together outside of the F1 circus without it being weird, or awkward, or jarring. 

And it hasn’t been. For the last few hours it’s actually been lovely; the mediterranean sun is golden and hot on Lance’s flushed cheeks, and the pinot turns out to not be so bad after all. Fernando’s also a hell of a cook, or at least he looks good working the barbecue; Lance can tell his eyes are lingering just a little, can feel his pupils sticking to the folds of Fernando’s wet t-shirt, at the way it smoothly coats the ripples of muscle on his flanks. It isn’t weird to think that Fernando’s fit, Lance thinks, and he bites his tongue before he says anything stupid, instead taking a sip of his third glass of wine (or maybe it’s his fifth, he hasn’t been counting).

Fernando chuckles when Lance asks to see his tattoo anyway, turning towards him with a slight glint in his eye and abandoning his tongs on the table next to the grill. Lance is biting his tongue so hard he might draw blood, and he’s praying that Fernando doesn’t notice the deepening of the flush across his cheeks and down his neck. He reclines, his elbows resting against the harsh grain of the deck, and watches as Fernando peels his shirt off, making sure his back faces Lance so that he has a full view of the samurai tattoo stretched across the soft angles of his suntanned back. Fernando must know about Lance’s schoolboy crush, because he looks around for the hat, plops it onto his head, and smirks at him while flexing his biceps like Lance won’t just spontaneously combust. He points to the ‘Capitán’ embroidered across his forehead and that’s when Lance realizes he’s fucked; Fernando’s in charge, through and through.

He steps in closer, hand reaching for the tattoo on Lance’s ribs like he’s never seen it before, like it hasn’t been on show for hours as Lance lounged lazily all across the yacht, his body feeling looser and lighter than it has in weeks. The tattoo feels so warm now that Fernando’s eyes are trained to it, almost burning as his hand reaches out to touch it.

And Fernando honest to god slides his thumb right across the ink, the slightly calloused fingertip making goosebumps bloom all down Lance’s chest. He’s breathing heavy now, his eyes widening slightly as Fernando’s own meet his gaze. It shouldn’t feel this way, Lance thinks, the thought of Fernando touching him shouldn’t make his breath hitch in his throat. He can feel the understated hardness of his cock, can ignore it as long as Fernando doesn’t notice; but the devilish smirk painted across the Spaniard’s features tells Lance that he certainly will, that he already has.

The kiss stirs something deep inside of him, undoing a knot he’s so carefully tied in his own tongue. Maybe his body can accept his repressed urges better than his brain can, because Lance can’t fight the urge to reach for the back of Fernando’s neck and pull at the strands which curl underneath the hat. Low moans escape his throat when Lance tugs, and he wonders if Fernando knows just how pretty he sounds, how broken and unwound. He’s harsher than Lance is used to, lips rougher than the nameless girls he makes out with in darkened clubs; here the sun shines bright across the golden expanse of Fernando’s chest, and his teeth lightly graze Lance’s lips as they pull away, mouths red and raw.

And what the hell, Lance thinks as he rises up to his knees, Fernando’s shadow cast over him as he opens his mouth wide, it isn’t a big deal if they fuck on Fernando’s yacht sometimes.

thank u for your takes on the s5 finale. sometimes it genuinely feels like im going crazy when i watch people talk about it being a good wiriting choice… the whole “be nice about everything that happens on screen or shut up” culture that the fandom has cultivated is genuinely becoming a problem imo

I totally feel that. which is part of why I choose to post about it on main sometimes, even though I really don’t want to ruin other people’s enjoyment in the fandom. I might joke about being a hater, but I have been on the other side of this many, many times where I’m just having a good time my favorite cartoon and salters come in and sour my mood with their relentless negativity. So I don’t want to be like that for someone else! But the thing is, as much as I don’t want to rain on people’s parades, MY parade has been rained on, and I have a sneaking suspicion that that is also the case for a lot of people in the fandom who are staying quiet out of a similar hesitation.

if you’re a long-time fan, of course you don’t wanna be a vibe killer, and you definitely don’t want to be seen as a Salter™️ by the rest of the fandom, especially if you historically have been a person who focuses on the positive. But I hope that this fandom is reasonable and open enough to make room for good-faith criticism. Fandom is a community, and I feel like an essential part of a thriving, healthy community is the joint ability to share and engage with opposing perspectives in a respectful way—while recognizing and holding onto the thing that brought you together in the first place.

I think it’s also important not to make unfair assumptions. Lots of the people who currently have mixed or negative feelings about s5 love ML just as much as the people who have positive feelings—in fact, their feelings might be negative because they love ML so much, and the current story direction feels like a disconnect for them. There are also lots of smart, passionate, media-literate people with varying responses to the finale. We have different logical approaches to similar issues. We have different emotional responses. We have different interests and expectations and perspectives and ideas. That’s okay!

I’ll probably share more about my problems with the currently writing direction, but I’ll be sure to tag appropriately so people can filter if they want to. (Staying in your lane is generally a helpful and valid approach if you don’t want to interact with an opposing viewpoint lol.) I’ll also be blocking/filtering where needed, withdrawing when needed, and trying to stay as respectful as I can. For now, I also plan to keep watching, creating, and enjoying what I find to enjoy in the ml fandom. For me, there is space for both enjoyment and criticism in the way I engage with my interests. So this is not going to become a miraculous salt blog lol (although I might come off as salty sometimes because i’m just a dumb little guy with a lot of strong feelings about children’s cartoons and the emotions overtake me sometimes!!). I still want to contribute to the fandom in a positive way, but I also want to be able to speak critically where I see fit on my own blog. Hopefully I can express my criticism in a balanced way and still have fun:)

Taking a moment out of my study time to share some ways to help u feel more comfortable an confident when drawing characters :>

1. Try drawing characters from memory: no one wants to draw a character wrong, but sometimes you gotta see what parts of their design really stick with you and which ones kinda fade away. When u always check a reference you may subconsciously just redo the same thing over and over, and that can make every drawing just seem like a copy paste of the original. I promise no one is going to kill you for forgetting a detail or 10 lol so just wing it every once in a while

2. Try drawing at a different size than what you normally do: something I found can help is drawing either bigger or smaller than your normal drawing size. Having to compress or enlarge proportions can actually be very enlightening as to how you draw specific things (when I draw smaller I tend to make facial features bigger, and I do the opposite when I draw bigger). You may even find that you actually LIKE drawing at a different size, so it’s good to try at least once lol

3. Purposely make characters with traits or body types you need practice drawing: speaking from experience here when I say that nothing makes you wanna better yourself more than a guy you love but can’t draw lmfao. This also goes for things you don’t even necessarily LIKE drawing. Give characters what some deem as “ugly” features, it’s actually the best thing ever and I love it and I will fight someone over it (crooked teeth and overbites and big ears and fat all over and body hair and fucked up hairlines I am kissing it all with my mouth)

4. Draw existing characters/others characters: am I telling you to make fanart? Yes. Draw that character from your childhood cartoon, draw the dude from the comic you like, draw that pretty handsome lady oc you saw cross your dash. Even if you end up not sharing it, the practice with drawing something NOT from your own brain actually helps quite a lot with figuring things out that ARE in your brain

5. Just get fucky with it: ok so pretty much, just go ham. Draw fast and loose, draw rigid and dark. Try different line weights, make em scratchy, make em clean. Just try every possible thing you can (maybe not all at once, or do. That’s fun too LMAO) and hold nothing back. Try something you have NO practice in at all just to see how it goes. Try to add shading, try making everything flat, try adding color, try adding different filters. Worst case scenario you don’t like how it looks, best case scenario you LOVE it. I know this point is kinda vague or whatever, but really doing just whatever without rules is so fun! I didn’t like making digital color things until I fucked around and did smth I liked, and now I color things a lot more. Really truly, just try things!!

hi, thank you so much ! i'm not like amazing at tutorials but i'd be happy to share with you my layers & process for this particular set (she saved a psd for once ... everyone cheered!) and give some general advice + i'm going to direct you to this tutorial by @woozis who i think does a great job of explaining things and has more experience with gif blending specifically (this was my first set using 2 gifs in this way; normally i use blending for static gfx or using overlays that aren't 2 gifs from the same source content, which are both great ways to practice) . i highly recommend utilizing multiple resources to get a feel for how different creators do the thing you want to learn, but at the end of the day i basically just start throwing stuff into photoshop and watch it come together in real time with anything gfx related lol . anyways, with that big intro out of the way, let's talk about how we made this set using this gif as the example:

so step one for me working with this content aka music video was just picking out the clips i liked and knew i wanted to use in the set . when it comes to gif blending the 2 gifs you're using need to be the same exact amount of frames or you need to be able to get them there, so basically after i had just pulled as many gifs out of the mv as i roughly thought wanted to use, i imported all of them into ps to see the frame rates and started mix-and-matching the ones that were around the same length to see what would look the best layered over each other. this is very personal preference based but in this case i liked that they were executing similar choreography from different angles and in different outfits and settings. for this gif, i ended up with these 2 separate ones:

these are sharpened but no coloring added yet - as you can see one of the clips is black and white so that can be a great option for blending because you can add whatever color you want over it. of course, if the original content isn't b&w you can just put a b&w filter on it and do the same thing - i recommend this if you want to put gifs together that aren't already color compatible. anyway, once you have your gifs you convert them both to timeline and just drag and drop one over the other. it's usually not going to matter which one you put on top, but that's the one you're going to use the blending effect on, so i went with the black and white gif over the color.

to blend the gifs, i set the blending mode to 'screen' on the top gif. for this one i kept the opacity at 100% but on other gifs in this set i brought it down to around 85% depending on how it looked. then i added my coloring to the base gif + i deepened the blacks on the top gif (note that you need a clipping mask for anything you want to do to the top gif without doing it to both). this is where you'll want to start messing around as you go, screen is my most used option for these purposes but sometimes overlay or multiply looks cooler, and you can mess with whatever opacity you think looks best. here's what my layers look like at this point with that top gif selected + what the gif looks like blended before and after coloring:

already pretty cool! but i wanted to add color to the black and white to really bring the effect home. i used the eyedrop tool to grab the blue from the lighting in the bottom gif (for the other color overlays in this set, i used the red from taeyong's hair) and added that into a solid color layer over the b&w gif with a clipping mask, and set the blending for that solid color layer to 'overlay' (again, you can try different ones for the look you like best)

this is my finished blended gif, from there i just added the text! the actual process of making the gif isn't what is so time consuming imo it's more just about finding the clips that will work together and testing out what you like the look of. this one is probably my favorite blending result from the set and there are plenty of things that i feel like don't look perfect, but ultimately i'm happy with the result and i think the set looks cool anyways -- so i encourage you to just give it a try and chances are it's going to turn out looking nice!

and agh, i loved your thoughts on the demon bros sibling dynamics. plus yeahhh, its kinda hard to take anything seriously since it is an otome game, BUT who says u cant come up with your interpretations and thoughts? whos gonna stop you? anyway, each brother has a level of depth that is screaming to be fleshed out, but its all very surface level on game. belphegors burdening shame and regret from watching lilith die in front of him, and by extension beelzebub having the same feelings and/or his own guilt. (i remember belph talking about his trauma and the immersion immediately breaks off when an option pops up on the scream, "ask him to kiss you." LIKE. place and time!) asmodeus and lucifer, their entire relationship T_T speaking of which, satan and lucifer?! they're brothers, or say they are and the rest just kinda go with it. but does no one else wanna bring up how satan was even brought to existence? he was literally birthed from luci's wrath during the celestial war. thats like, a gateway for someone to write a long philosophical analysis about him and what it symbolizes. aghhudhwdhwhd i wish i could say more, but i'm literally out of words rn. if i was mc, i'd have to fight everyday to keep it together without breaking down and crying about this. espeically having to live under the same roof as them...ooofff

speaking of complex siblings dynamics, have you see succession? its a show on hbo. its about an ultra rich and powerful family that is ultimately, dysfunctional. theres four siblings and their relationship mean sooo much to me. i wont drop any spoilers just in case you dont know anything, but when i say dysfunctional i meant it!! one of the things i like about this show is that it doesnt have any flashbacks or show the backstories for most of the characters, rather they kinda drop pieces of information randomly and you just go ??? that happened ??? youd think it wouldnt be a good storytelling strategy bc how are you going to emotionally connect the story to your audience? but somehow, the show does it really well. for example, one of the brothers, roman, was heavily abused. and sometimes one of his siblings would go, "yeah i remember when dad used to heavily beat the fuck out of you" offhandedly, like its a cute little fun fact. and youre sitting there like....when did THAT happen??? ofc they wouldnt show it, but if you watch how roman and his father interact on show (roman is so submissive and scared next to his father) it starts to make sense. its like the "show dont tell" but they switch around to "tell and show." subtle interactions like that fully exposes a characters psychology. subtle body language goes a long way. theres also the eldest brother connor, whos seen as the father figure bc their real dad is so neglectful. but tbh connot gets shit on a lot and uuyfuefehfe theres more. i would talk about this all day. sibling angst got me on a chokehold.

Oh man, so I did a search for sibling webweaving and I was like woah what is all this lol. I had no idea there was a term for stuff like this, but I'm fascinated! I must not be getting the TikTok videos... admittedly my use of that platform is limited lol.

The thing about the otome game not delving into things means that we all get to speculate and come up with whatever we want. It's a blessing and a curse lol. On the one hand, I like being able to come up with my own interpretations. But on the other hand, it'd be nice to have just a little more depth that what we have.

I have thoughts about Belphie and specifically what happened in the OG with him. That was definitely a situation of, there is so much more going on here than they're bothering to get into. I also get that they can't really do a ton of that, partly due to the medium and partly due to the amount of characters they have to deal with. Like I think they can only choose to flesh out certain characters and the rest kind of end up on the back burner. Which is annoying because there's so much potential for so many amazing stories!

I also have a lot of thoughts about Satan and his relationship to Lucifer and everybody. It's like they give us just enough to make the story dramatic, but in the end everybody loves each other and so on and so forth. I'm not saying both Satan and Belphie shouldn't be able to reconcile what happened to them and move on, but it just happens so fast. It seems too easy. So I kind of headcanon it as, they hide everything. Not just those two, but all the brothers have a certain level of trauma that they just bury deep or at the very least don't display in front of MC. I know they make MC out to be the demon therapist, but nobody resolves their issues in one session and that's all they're normally limited to. But of course they don't have time to get into things that deeply in a mobile otome game lol.

I have not seen Succession! It sounds pretty intense. I think it's always interesting when media use different techniques to tell their story. Of course I have very little knowledge of how TV scripts are written, but for story writing, the way a character reacts can imply all kinds of past history, even if you don't know exactly what happened. Flashbacks are helpful, but I think it's interesting to have a bit of a mix. A character is always going to tell the story of their past a little differently than how it actually happened. And I find that it can reveal a lot about character just to see what they change or leave out when telling it. Of course, who they're speaking to can affect that as well. But it's definitely an interesting concept!

I wanted to know if you think, buying that papershoot camera was worth it..

Hi! Tbh I do enjoy using it. It's cute and small so it's easy to carry around with you, and it has 4 different colour options for you to use which I like to switch around using. Cons tho include that the "viewfinder" port (aka a square hole in the papershoot camera case) isn't the most accurate so u gotta make sure u got a good guestimate (this hasn't been much of an issue for me though), you can only see your pics when you plug in your papershoot into your computer or take out the SD card ofc and they don't get labelled by date you took them, and the screws on my case fall off every now and then. Realistically honestly you can achieve the same results of a papershoot camera with photo filters on your phone (which many of my friends have pointed out to me lol) but honestly I enjoy having something separate and looking at my photos after! It's a fun alternative if you wanna feel like you're taking pics with something else, but it isn't the cheapest imo so the cost depends on what you're willing to spend. I personally like it and don't regret buying it :)

Fill up your bath tub, a clean garbage can, buckets, tupperware etc before it starts getting bad. This water can be used for cleaning stuff that doesnt need to be like completely sterile and flushing toilets. Plastic and chemicals from the containers can leech into the water so its not good to consume it.

Consider getting a camping/emergency toilet if flooding has a risk of affecting the sewer system, or figure out some kind of toilet alternative like a hole in the backyard for the worst case scenarios (We once had a normal rainstorm that flooded everything so badly that the toilets literally wouldnt flush they just filled up. We've never had to use the camping toilet but its reassuring to have.)

Definitely definitely get a refill of ur meds soon. Call your dr or the pharmacy and see if they can give you extra for an emergency supply. Some of us on "😑🙄controlled substances" cant but it doesnt hurt to ask!

It is very important that you have a way to boil water. Bring water to a rolling boil for a minute to kill the bad shit in it. Dont use contaminated water to brush teeth or wash dishes.

Water can also be disinfected by adding eight drops of plain unscented household bleach (four to six percent strength), which is about 1/8 teaspoon or a dime sized puddle, per gallon of water. You can also get iodine or water disinfecting tablets wherever they sell like camping shit. Start eating thru ur perishable food now to reduce fridge and freezer waste in case the power goes out

Get something to do for when u have no power and are saving the battery on ur devices. Youll need to be able to do it by candle/lamp light and with no electronics. When we were little my mom had board games and go fish, shit like that. Uno is a good choice. So is taking naps lmao

Idk what the quality of buildings is like over there but if u think the roof might come off, get in your closet/bathroom with no windows. Put as many walls between you and the outside as possible. If you have a grill or lawn furniture or shit like that bring it inside or it will come inside through your window.

Keep ur important documents in a billion layers of ziploc bags and water proof protection and have them in your evacuation bag. Also, make sure that ur evac shelter or similar allows any pets you have.

If you think the storm is over but you have no way to check whats going on, stay inside for a while. You could be in the eye of the storm and the eye walls are the strongest part of the hurricane so u do not wanna be off your guard when it passes over you again. We went outside in the middle of the eye just to see what it was like once it was freaky

Sending love! Ive watched neighborhoods change dramatically with each hurricane for all my life. It always feels like the end of the world after a storm but you will rebuild. Community is especially important during these times. Having a relationship with your neighbors could mean sharing supplies, seeing who might still have water or power, getting updates from someone with a radio, or access to a generator to charge devices (shout out to my old neighbor randy with the generator the size of a hummer! Make sure you've got shelf-stable food and water for everyone in the house, including pets. The rule of thumb is a gallon per person per day. Freeze water bottles if you want cold water.

Make sure you have enough meds!

Make sure you have batteries, candles, flashlights, and a manual can opener. 

Make sure your electronics, including backup batteries, are charged. Unplug things you don't want fried in case of a power surge. 

Don't tape your windows, it doesn't help and you'll just be stuck scrubbing goo off of them later.

Put a mug of frozen water in it in your freezer with a quarter on top of it. If your freezer defrosts, the ice will melt and the quarter will sink and tell you you need to throw things out.

i know this might sound weird/rude but... about ace attorney, why do you usually only post about shipping/romantic pairings? i saw a lot of people that always complain about someone who onlys cares about ships in a fandom so yeah, i wanted to know your opinion about it 🤠🤠🤠

'Cause that's the gimmick of the blog! the het shipping of the attorneys! Being more precise, ace attorney's storytelling is divided in two main pieces: the murder mystery side and the relationship side. Because i cant for the life of me write mystery in general, I focus on the relationships. Because my need for family and friends is already satisfied, i focus on the thing i dont have, which is romance lol.

Many ppl have blogs dedicated to a specific ship or type/trope/character so what i do isnt THAT strange, and i wouldn't exactly understand someone complaining about small group of people who only care bout shipping……..

on the other hand, if the majority of a fandom that isnt about romance is always focused on the romance, yes i absolutely get it and it bothers me as well but i must say that i've had an easy time blocking whatever i dont wanna see :p, as far as i know, the ace attorney fandom is very balanced on that regard~~

this is where i recomend to block stuff rather than complain but since tumblr is stitched togheter with boogers and prayers it can happen that if u filter out stuff that is too popular the main fandom tag will just vanish and have no content at all?????? but it never happend to me (and only read about that once) so idk????? sucks to be them i guess???? in that case they do have all the right to complain lmaooo (^this bout a dif fandom so there may be many variants to this glitch)

Oof I had a similar experience! But how mine ended up being folded was because something went in my eye, so I had to scratch it. Then it was one of those that you can sleep with. So I did, and I probably kept scratching my eye because when I woke up, I couldn't see properly. Then I saw the blueish film of it on the corner, and had to move my eye so I can get it out.

There was a YouTube video of this woman, who had several folded lenses in her eye..like how did that not bother her is crazy.

yes, lost in assistance in on the last chapter (Ch. 65). oh Ten Days, dont worry i dont forget about it. I love writing that series,it's fun. because it has a lot of comedy in it. some general tumblr things to note:

as you probably know, tumblr doesn't run on an algorithm

any content depends primarily on what blogs you follow + occasionally what tags you follow (less reliable. your main source will be by blogs)

tags serve mainly as an organizational/content marker, as well as for filtering purposes. tagging #fyp to get your content out there does nothing

to send an ask, click on the button beside the follow/following button on the user's blog - some people rename the 'ask' to some other things, which may make it hard to find

we are the faceless app. pls customize your blog a little so it doesn't look like you're a bot but do not feel pressured to reveal names/face/age/pronouns whatever

once again, the only way content is found is through reblogs. reblog things that u think are neat, no additions required :)

re filtering: you can block terms/tags/content you don't want to see on your dash (e.g. 'tw sexual assault'). here's a better post to explain trigger warning/tagging etiquette

ok onto general hockeyblr:

to follow tags, go into the search bar and type out #[tag] and click the blue follow button on the right. your basic starter pack of tags to follow in hockeyblr: #hockey, #nhl, etc.

but that's lame. and you're probably not gonna get any of the juicy stuff

following your team/the teams you are tangentially interested in and their popular player tags are often a good way to start breaking into the community (e.g. #pittsburgh penguins, #sidney crosby)

follow cool hockeyblr ppl! u can find ppl in your team spheres through the tags i mentioned above. there was also a hockeyblr directory made a while back (og masterlist is down but shoot me a message and i can get you some specific team lists. don't be afraid to ask ppl for recs too)

reblog, like, etc. esp with content creators/gifsets/etc. engagement does the heart good

lots of users liveblog and post commentary during games!

you can find these posts in the lb tags, which vary by team and are sort of collectively known (e.g. #pens lb for pittsburgh)

some tags are a little less intuitive: #nyr lb or #rangers lb are both used for the rangers iirc, #bolts lb or #tbl lb have both been used for tampa - feel free to shoot me an ask/msg if you have trouble lol

big events, such as the playoffs, worlds, the all star game, etc may have their own special tags (e.g. #scp lb, #worlds lb, #asg lb, #team germany lb, etc). you'll figure it out as you go! and don't be afraid to ask for clarification

tagging your liveblogs are pretty important since:

it's fun to liveblog with a bunch of people on your silly little gang of guys! helps u find friends to follow, and

people who follow the opposing team might want to filter out your commentary (more info below)

coming back to filtering, the nice thing abt tumblr is that u can filter out whatever tags/blogs/keywords you don't want to see on your dash

go to your blog settings to live peacefully and with prosperity

you can filter out team tags/liveblogs/players, anything you want. in fact, u are encouraged bc not feeling extreme rage over some picture on the dash of the team that knocked your team out of the scp does the body good

filtered posts don't disappear entirely from the dash (in case u have fomo), but when a blog u follow posts about something in that tag, you will see a blurred post with the tags you filtered, as well as an option to view the post

some users also have specific tags that they may have created for organizational purposes and to help you block specific content (e.g. #nhl trade rumors are my personal tag for, you guessed it, trade rumors. some ppl don't wanna hear that, so easy tagging for filter)

on that note: filter and move on. don't go into opposing team tags/liveblogs and talk shit or stir up shit. you will be blocked by. a significant amount of people. play nice y'all, it's hockey

not really my area of expertise on tumblr, but there's a pretty big rpf/fic community on hockeyblr. follow or block as you need!

player relationship tags are a good place to look for content (e.g. #sidgeno, #8771)

use the :readmore: function on tumblr liberally if you're posting fics - full player fics in the player tags can suck to scroll through for an outside user

Fic Banner Tutorial - Picsart

Step 1: Background

Select your image from your photo gallery ! I like using picsart cuz it can be done relatively easy and from your phone. Just choose an adequate size banner, scroll through the bottom icons, click “draw,” then “fill” and u can choose the color of the background. For this one I chose white !

Step 2: Character

Add your character ! I usually like choosing a transparent image of them so they can fit seamlessly into the background. For this one I chose a cute guy from the webtoon I was reading. Just click “add image” from the bottom icons and put them wherever u wanna.

Step 3: Text

You can add the title of your fic or the name of your blog or literally anything with the text option ! In this case I wrote the trope of the webtoon lol. You can also choose the font and color and can even use a color picker if you want the font to be within the same color palette as the rest of your banner.

Note: you don’t have to click apply (top right) after each step, but some functions won’t be allowed until you click it. Once you click apply, you can’t go back to edit, so make sure you like it before clicking.

Step 4: Overlay/Filter

This step isn’t always necessary, but I wasn’t satisfied with the way the banner looked so I wanted to add a cute pink filter over everything. For this step, go to “add image” and select the image of the color you saved. You can google “pink hex code” or “pink color” for samples of any color. Add it to your banner and stretch it out so it covers everything.

Once it’s on top of everything, click “blend” and u can scroll through the intensities of the merging of colors. I liked the “lighten” option for this one, but “multiply” typically works best !

And here’s the final product ! A cute little banner to be added to any fic. Feel free to download the image and color over it so u can have a copy of the banner size. This can also be uploaded into Canva if you don’t wanna use the dimensions ! You can also use the overlay step anytime u wanna color over a manga panel for a cute profile pic x3
