Dogwarts - A Horror-Themed Minecraft Map

Ever since the beheading, paranoia has taken hold of the Red King.

Dogwarts is a short Minecraft map full of secrets, made for AUFest 2024's Reverse Big Bang. You can find more information on it here, including the world download, content warnings, how-to-play guide, and a video showcase for anyone who can't or doesn't want to play through it themselves.

As part of the event I had the honor of working with two INCREDIBLE writers, Sparrow @erstwhilesparrow and Writer @capriciouswriter207!! Both of them did a masterful job bringing this story to life in a new medium, and I'm delighted that I got to have them on my team <3 Check out their fics:

The things Martyn carries with him have dwindled to almost nothing. One bucket that he doesn’t dare abandon to the capricious shadows, a handful of glass bottles. A scrap of banner that he keeps in his pocket, that he wipes his sweat on but never without feeling a little bad. If it’s the tunnels themselves that are responsible for all his misfortune, they never make a sound to suggest so. If this place is haunted, it’s not haunted by any ghosts but his own.

The enchanter must be protected at all costs. Away from prying eyes, deep below the ground, nobody but Ren will ever lay their eyes on it again. A labyrinth of dirt and stone must be dug to further protect it. The process weighs heavily on Martyn, and the tunnels themselves seem to suffocate him. It's all worth it, though. The enchanter must be safe.

Some of y’all need to calm down about people who are not that into lostshipping. I don’t see y’all raising the pitchforks at people who don’t like Lava, or literally any other ship for that matter (not to say that it doesn’t happen, cause fandom is fandom but still). But god forbid someone isn’t invested in Lost, that must mean they’re homophobic! Or whatever other label we can ascribe to them that makes them a Bad Person tm

I’m sorry but if people are allowed to ignore Jaya/Pixane/Kailor, I think it’s fine to ignore Lost. Especially since **AT THIS CURRENT MOMENT** they are probably the least compelling ship on the board right now. Hoping they get some development in season 3, but they are kind of just a pairing that exists for me at this point.

i tend to roll my eyes at sexuality microlabels that mention feeling a less-than-normal/average amount of attraction bc what, exactly, is a normal/average amount of attraction? how is it quantified? what data are being used? is it applicable to every single person on the planet, or just in certain cultures? are different stages of life considered?

as a hormonal teenager i could develop a crush on someone i saw once and most of my daydreams and fantasies were about romance or sex. but now that i'm an adult no longer going through puberty, it takes a lot more for me to develop a crush on someone, and a lot of my celebrity or fictional character crushes are more or less acknowledgement that i find them physically attractive than fantasies. my daydreams are primarily about shit like owning a house and being financially stable.

am i demisexual compared to my teenage self, or is my teenage self hyper-allosexual compared to me now, or has my attraction always been a normal/average amount depending on my age? does it even fucking matter? how should i know (and WHY would i need to know) the amount of attraction my peers experience, or how well they need to know someone before developing feelings for them, or if they fantasize about fucking celebrities? what PURPOSE do microlabels serve other than creating a bunch of pride flags to make money off of?

but you know what HASN'T changed over all this time? my bisexuality. WHO i'm attracted to.
