i have a bit of a concern , being that wherever I go, whatever character I write, whatever fandom I am in, I am bombarded with the age old accusation against me that I am homophobic/transphobic, simply because my muse, against popular belief, isn't gay/bi.

I get it, really I do. People roleplay to write their own fantasies out with another in a mutually written format that provides serotonin or emotion. The key word there is mutual. If someones muse is not a certain way you would prefer, be it their gender, personality, sexuality, canonical/divergent, it isn't your fault. But you CANNOT say it is their fault either. Just as it is in real life, you CANNOT change someone to fit what you want, just as much as you CANNOT change someones muse for that same reason.

now, I get this can be a sour topic , so don't misunderstand me. I am not against writing with anyone simply because your muse is LGBTQ+ and mine is as straight as an uncooked noodle. I would LOVE to still write with you, I adore the kind of interactions straight people have with LGBTQ+ people because that's part of my life, I get these interactions everyday. All I ask is you respect mine and my muses orientation just as much as will respect yours 🧡

Someone at an old job asked why I wanted to write up the meeting minutes for our team and I said 'i wanna control the narrative' and they were like 'what' and I pointed out that no one was gonna remember what we said in six months and so my interpretation of the meeting would dictate the assumed reality of what happened

I was feeling agitated and artblocked yesterday so I decided to give my brain a rest by watching TV and then the next thing I knew these were in front of me

appalachia is devastated. towns i loved, towns i visited all the time, are gone. not damaged, GONE. they are leveled to the ground. there is nothing left but rubble and ruin. people are dead. appalachia is poor to begin with and relies on tourism for a lot of its income, and multiple of those tourist locations are just...gone.

my town is okay, but it's flooded and wrecked. trees are blocking all but one way out of our neighborhood. power lines are hanging limp in the roads. we've been without power for over 24 hours and will continue to be without power for likely another 24+. disabled people and poor people are GOING to die from this. gods save appalachia.

slow down for your disabled friends. thats like a bare minimum kindness that we shouldnt have to ask for. i love that youre so quirky and walking fast is a cool personality trait to you and all that but i bet you can count your physically disabled friends on less than one hand
