“Not to worry. I made today’s quota with a bit of luck to the season.” He reassured, thinking the other meant by business matters. Clearly, Ren did not have the same natural wiring as everyone else. The man could be thinking numerically constantly for all Gale knew.
His palm had a shiny new wrapping around it as well, showing he was not entirely shaken from the prior attack. “Oh-- Do you need me to reimburse you for the hotel stay? I should have plenty to pay back if need be.”
