Ever After High x Twisted Wonderland AU Headcanons part 24: Way Too Wonderland

AND I’M BACK WITH A NEW HEADCANONS PART!!! ^^

I am so sorry making you wait for so long, a lot of circonstances in my personal life and very bad cases of writer blocks and lack of motivations got in the way! T_T

But now I did it! The new headcanons part is ready! :D

For this part, you asked for it, you were waiting for it! We’re now going into the Way Too Wonderland arc!!! :D

-At NRC, after the festival’s events, the students were going on their daily lives, one student however seemed very distracted: Lizzie Hearts.

-Lizzie was being more home sicking than usual, especially ever since she received an invitation for her mother’s birthday.

-Things go similar to the EAH canon: the EAH transfers find out thanks to Brooke and are tricked into being spirited away in Wonderland but instead of the Evil Queen it's Milton Grimm and Snow White who tricked them.

-Since Apple is either a RSA students(Apple's Happily Ever After path) or locked in a mental institution (Apple's Badly Ever After path), Yuu and Grim took her place in the group for the Wonderland adventure.

-The TWST boys who get spirited away in Wonderland with the EAH transfers: the Heartslabyul gang.

-When Riddle learned there's a conspiracy against the current Queen of Heart, he went on board to help Lizzie and the others and the rest of the Heartslabyul gang got ropped in.

-Just like the EAH girls, the Heartslabyul gang, Yuu and Grim get Wonderland outfits.

-As they explore Wonderland, the group end up caught into Wonderland shenanigans and unwillingly step on Wonderland High ground making them meet Chase and forcing them to attend the school.

-Like in the canon, the group follow the school studying course to graduate and be able to leave.

-Riddle, Lizzie, Maddie and Kitty are the ones that come out the best in those classes.

-The others aren’t going bad at the class but some have big difficulties to go with the classes’s weirdness (*cough*Deuce, Ace and Grim*cough*).

-During their “stay” at the school the group meet Lily, the daughter of the White Queen.

-While talking with her, they learn she found out some times ago a book which looked very much like the Storybook of Legends(as she never saw it in person before Lily isn’t sure) and during a conversation with her mother through mirrorpads, the latter “advised her” to give the book to the Queen of Hearts for her birthday.

-She was about to add more when the group had to go back to classes.

-Back at NRC, everyone is actively searching for the missing students.

-Brooke was very frustrated to not be able to do anything to help, no matter how often she tried to contact someone through NRC’s mirrors but failed every time.

-She then discovered she can interact with objects, an ability she used to send a message which got found by Darling who then without wasting any time put on her armor, took Sir Gallopad and went to Wonderland through NRC’s well to go help her friends.

-She managed to infiltrate Wonderland High and to end up in the same classes than the NRC group and warn them about the conspiracy against the Queen of Hearts. 

-Like in the EAH canon, Courtly made sure to make the classes impossible for the NRC group to succeed.

-At the chess game turned into a un-chess game Raven took Lily’s place as the white queen piece much to Lily’s frustration(‘I never get to play!”).

-Ace profit from the chess game changements to provoke a battle dance which result in a battle dance between Chase and Darling and give the opportunity for the others to sneak away.

-They get however intercepted by Lily who doesn’t understand why they sneak away like that and risking to fail their courses.

-When they explained to Lily about the conspiracy and the possible involvement of the White Queen, Lily was at first in denial ‘cause that would mean that not only her mother is involved in a crime against the Queen of Hearts, which is VERY severe, but also used her as a pawn which in the white chess kingdom and in the red chess kingdom is extremely serious.

-Headcanon: In Wonderland, using a chess piece which is beneath or against it purpose is a crime which could be very severe to an act of treason if the chess piece used is a royal piece.

-The others insist and told Lily to be on the look out and leave.

-Like in the canon, Courtly played with time and make the group failed their classes and get them sent to a trial.

-Things were not doing good for the group and they were about to be found guilty when Deuce objected that Courtly committed a more severe fault by having transgressed some of the Queen of Hearts rules. 

-The rules in questions are “One must not play with time as, like with food, time must not to be wasted” and “Creating more no-sense in a no-sense society only disturb society’s order, this why, any no-sense perpetrator must be punished”.

-Courtly try to deny it but thanks to their magic the NRC group managed to prove she indeed messed with time to sabotage the group’s classes, which had also unwittingly sabotaged the classes of all the other students of Wonderland High.

-The more Courtly tries to justify herself or make up excuses, the more the group, particularly the Heartslabyul group, point out a Queen of Hearts rule she broke.

-Courtly, being so frustrated, end up snapping at them “WHO CARES ABOUT THOSE STUPID LAWS?!”.

-This put her in trouble with the caterpillar judge and in panic, Courtly teleported away thanks to a magical device.

-She teleported in her office to call Milton and Snow White in panic but the two told her to get a grip and that all is still according to plan ‘cause the White Queen reported to them that Lily had give the true Storybook of Legends to the Queen of Hearts for her birthday and told Courtly to go retrieve it.

-Meanwhile, Lily, still a bit shaken by what the NRC group told her, called her mother hoping all this was just a misunderstanding, but to her horror the White Queen confirmed that she was aware that the book Lily give to the Queen of Hearts was the actual Storybook of Legends and revealed that she told Lily to give the book to the Queen of Hearts ‘cause it was part of a plan to give the book back to Milton Grimm and to dethrone the Queen of Hearts to “Make things straight again”.

-She was even acting as if Lily was on board with the plan and ended up the call, leaving her daughter drowning in the horrible realization that not only her mother committed the crime of having used her daughter, her heiress, as a simple pawn but also for participating in a conspiracy against the Queen of Hearts.

-With the NRC group things realized that Courtly escaped to go steal the Storybook of Legends and quickly escaped Wonderland High to go to the Card Castle.

-Things go a bit like in the EAH canon and Kitty at one point vanished to go retrieve the book in the present room and Riddle, although at first upset to see Lizzie this distressed, quickly realized that the Queen of Hearts was doing an opposite game.

-Kitty reappeared smuggly when Courtly came with the “book” in her hands thinking she won and used a magical device to permit Milton Grimm and Snow White to enter Wonderland and give her the book.

-But when she asked them about her future “new destiny as Lizzie’s remplacement” like they promised only for Milton, Snow White and the White Queen to look at her as if Courtly was crazy and told her that there was no way she would take Lizzie’s destiny and that this plan was to push her and all the other “EAH students” to go back to the “rightful destiny” making Courtly realized that she have been tricked.

-But when Milton opened the book and try to defuse the illusion magic of the wonderland water, he realized it wasn’t the actual Storybook of Legends but a simple sketchbook stylized like the Storybook of Legends and then noticed a smirking Kitty holding the real book.

-See, when Kitty talked with her mother on Card Castle’s roof, the latter give her a sketchbook looking like the Storybook of Legends under the pretext that those were very popular in Wonderland and that she wanted to give it to Kitty as a gift ‘cause “it would be useful to her”.

-This gave Kitty the idea, once she appeared in the present room, the idea of replacing the disguised Storybook of Legends with the sketchbook so like this Courtly would find it instead of the real one.

-Furious, Milton Grimm by using his magic summoned strange dark creatures to attack the NRC group to take the book.

-The NRC group were shocked to see that the creatures’s aura was the same than the overblot monsters’s.

-The thing is: When Milton got interested in the overblot forms, he studied them, even collected the dark rocks from overblots to create minions with them and his magic.

-As the NRC group were about to fight, despite the creatures outnumbering them, everyone got suddenly interrupted by an army composed of the white chess piece students, Darling, Chase and all of them lead by none other than Lily.

-The White Queen tried to defuse the situation but Lily snapped to her that they don’t take orders from a traitor.

-With the White Queen’s confusion Lily is like “White Queen! You are accused of high acts of treason for having conspired against the Queen of Hearts and for having used your own heiress for a role beneath her role as a royal chess piece!”

-A battle happens with the chess pieces and the NRC group against Milton Grimm, Snow White, the White Queen and their creatures.

-Through the battle, Lily give orders and instructions to the chess pieces students like it was a game of chess.

-At one point, Raven found herself with the book and as she was about to be attacked by Milton’s creatures, she unlocked her unique magic “Mirror on the wall”.

-This unique magic permits Raven to create mirrors which act like portals that Raven can use. 

-She use her new found unique magic to escape the creatures’s assault.

-Thanks to the efforts of the TWST group and of the chess pieces students, Milton’s creatures are little by little defeated.

-Snow White, enraged by how things are going, was about to use the little number of spells she knows to attack Raven only to be blocked and finding herself in a 1v1 against Vil.

-Courtly, that everyone forget about in the heat of the battle, enraged was about to take it out on Lizzie but Riddle spotted her in time and used “Off with your head” to put a collard on Courtly and incapacitate her.

-At one point, Raven noticed Milton Grimm being about to throw a spell attack on Vil, she used her “Mirror on the wall” to teleport herself just in time to throw herself between Vil and the spell, using the Storybook of Legend as a shield which made the spell and the book and turning it into ashes, much to the horror of Milton, Snow White and the White Queen and freeing officially the citizen of the Ever After world from the Destiny ideology.

-With Milton, Snow White and the White Queen been stunned in horror with what happened, Lily and Lizzie profited from the situation to make a direct attract on Snow White and the White Queen and as they incapacitate them both, Lizzie and Lily both tell with a smirk “Check mate!”.

-Seeing his allies defeated, Milton was about to retaliate, he got interrupted by the surprise apparition of the Evil Queen and the teachers of NRC who even destroyed the last creatures.

-Turns out the teachers back at NRC found also Brook’s message about what was happening in Wonderland and after they contacted the Evil Queen, they go to Wonderland through the way in the NRC’s well.

-Seeing they were surrounded, Milton and Snow White got no other choice but to retreat and escape, leaving the White Queen behind.

-Everyone celebrated the victory, the White Queen got arrested for her treason against the Queen of Hearts and got removed from her title as the White Queen and the title was then given to her daughter Lily.

-But the rejoices died down when the atmosphere became tense because of the presence of the elephant in the room: the Evil Queen, the one responsible for the curse in Wonderland, being present.

-But what shocked the Wonderlandians was the Evil Queen, being respectful toward the Queen of Hearts, bowing to her and solemnly apologizing for having put the curse on Wonderland.

-While the Queen of Hearts appreciate the Evil Queen came clean about her wrong doings, she still had committed a big crime against Wonderland by having put the poisoning curse which created more chaos in Wonderland and had broken the “Creating more no-sense in a no-sense society only disturb society’s order, this why, any no-sense perpetrator must be punished”.

-As the atmosphere was becoming a bit uncomfortable, Riddle came up with a solution with the Queen of Hearts rule 053 “You must replace anything you steal”.

-Since the Evil Queen had “stolen” the no-sense order of Wonderland with her curse which made the Wonderlandians madder, her punishment could be that she had to “replace” the no-sense order by removing the curse and bring everything back to “normal” in Wonderland.

-The Queen of Hearts, interested by the suggestion and intrigued by the fact that someone this young and who is not a native from Wonderland seem to understand her rules well enough to know how to use them, accepted the idea and decreed that as punishment for her crimes against Wonderland, the Evil Queen will had to remove the curse she put on Wonderland, punishment the Evil Queen accepted.

-With Raven’s assistance, the Evil Queen and Raven used their magic to remove the curse bringing Wonderland back to “normal” and removed the barrier and the Evil Queen is officially forgiven by the Queen of Hearts.

-Everyone was happy but then came the next matter: what to do with Courtly?

-After much discussion between the adults, it was decided that for having actively participate in the conspiration against the Queen of Hearts Courtly was going to be exile from Wonderland to NRC where she will be a student and being straighten up and being in house arrest where the teachers and the students will keep a very close eye on her.

-Once everything was settled, the Queen of Hearts invited everyone to her birthday party to celebrate the end of the curse.

-During the party the Queen of Hearts get to know Riddle, who was very honored to meet the current Queen of Hearts, and was very impressed by the amount of knowledge and understanding her daughter’s new friend had about her rules.

-If whoever who use the AU go with the Riddle/Lizzie ship: The Queen of Hearts will approve of the relationship, thinking Riddle is a fine young man perfect for her daughter and during a play of croquet during the party she will give Riddle a bright pink flamingo which Riddle and Lizzie will quickly understand the meaning as, as stated by the rule 069 of the Queen of Hearts rules “If the queen approve her heir’s relationship she must give her blessing during a game of croquet by offering her future in-law a bright pink flamingo”(made up rule for the AU).

-During the party Crowley and the other NRC teachers interrogate the NRC group about what happened to the Storybook of Legends and were very pleased to learn that the book was destroyed and Crowley happily announced that he will send a message to their world to be spread across Twisted Wonderland and the Ever After world to announce the wonderful news.

-As the party was going on, back in Twisted Wonderland and the Ever After world everyone received the news about the destruction of the Storybook of Legends, putting everyone in a euphoria, the Ever After world citizen were all overjoyed that they were finally officially free, that the destiny ideology finally came to an end.

-But back in the Never After realm Milton and Snow White, but particularly Milton, are enraged by what happened to the Storybook of Legends, falling step by step into madness in their anger and hunger for going back in control.

This is SFW. Happy Thanksgiving for those who celebrate! Happy Thursday for everyone else <3

Pair: team throuple! But probably more heavy on Artashi.

POV: Tashi

Summary: ATP bring Lily to see them blow up the floats the night before the Macys Thanksgiving parade. Magic ensues.

It’s not something Tashi’s ever gotten to do before. Growing up in the Bay Area it was remarkable to even see a flurry let alone all of this snow fall. The ground is powder white but thankfully they’re not predicting enough snow to cancel the parade. She’s watched the Macy’s Thanksgiving day parade on tv with her grandmother every year since she was a little girl. And now she’s standing here the night before watching as they blow up the floats. It’s all so surreal.

“US Open winners stand up there. So that will be Art and Mikayla. And of course the families.” Their float coordinator, Lisa, is explaining to them.

“I’m family? Didja hear that?” Patrick says in her ear, grinning.

“You’re definitely something,” Art murmurs, grabbing him by the arm and pulling him away from her. Probably because they’re in public.

”And you love it,” Patrick says, getting in Art’s personal space instead.

Art rolls his eyes but doesn’t let go of Patrick’s arm right away.

All this sexual tension between the three of them that rarely if ever breaks is part of the reason they’re just playing into the throuple rumor. Since deny, deny, deny and lie, lie, lie wasn’t working. They were photographed a little too often in public all together and in different permutations. Sometimes more touchy than what could fairly be denied (though they tried).

She doesn’t know about the boys (or rather she doesn’t know about Art, she knows Patrick doesn’t really give a fuck) but she’s trying to control herself. She does lose herself sometimes but usually it’s mostly Patrick’s fault. And it’s such a scam that everyone has a camera. There are times when she could swear they were being discreet that ended up discussed for days on the internet. The attention is all over them and it’s just growing since Arts career making win against Yelnev at the US Open.

“Where’s my daughter?” Tashi asks. Last time she’d seen Lily she was on Patrick’s shoulders and he was showing her the baby from Family Guy.

Art gestures and Tashi follows his elbow.

Lily is pulling Tashi’s mom over to the Hello Kitty balloon. Tashi relaxes, smiling. “So where is Mikayla and her husband?” Tashi asks Lisa. Lisa is watching the three of them interact curiously. It’s clear she wants to ask but she’s too much of a professional and Tashi respects that.

“Well she uh— she knows the ropes. She did this 4 years ago. After Anna got hurt in the final and she won. I didn’t want to bring it up. What with Anna being a close friend and all.” Lisa explains.

Patrick snorts, “Anna Mueller? Isn’t she—“

”Positively lovely? Yes, Patrick,” Tashi says, doing everything to maintain professional composure. She knows he’s just calling bullshit but it’s been a while since he’s been in the public eye and Tashi knows better than anyone how seemingly nothing rumors become fodder for the general public’s collective boredom. Take that nothing challenger in the middle of nowhere for example. She never in her life expected to end up at the center of a media conspiracy or to have her own portmanteau. Let alone 2 of them. She still thinks her name should be first in at least one of them. Maybe it doesn’t work for Patrick though she doesn’t all together hate her cousin's idea… Tashtrick… but Tart is totally doable and kind of cute. Though maybe not enough of her.

“Right we love Anna,” Patrick says, gazing at her. “Shame about her career.”He adds but it doesn’t sound sincere. She wants to say shut up but then she’d look mean… so she shuts up for now.

“Yeah,” Lisa continues, “she says she and Tashi have always been close. I was so inspired by you guys I read her book. I love that she took up the mantle when you got hurt Tashi and the part where she introduced you to your husband—“

”Okay lets come back to Mikayla,” Tashi says, before she blows it and ends up saying exactly what she stopped Patrick from saying.

“Well that book was greatly exaggerated,” Art says. “And if picked up the mantle means 2 slams followed by nearly 10 years as a wannabe Hollywood insider I’m not sure she had any interest in living up to Tashi’s potential at all.”

It’s so much more bitchy than what she or even Patrick might’ve been able to manage and yet said with Art’s matter of fact casual tone it doesn’t come across that way at all. Not to mention he’s actually the golden boy who can do no wrong. Sometimes she resents him for it but right now as Lisa giggles and nods along with an “It did seem to be laying it on thick.” Tashi can’t help but be impressed.

She glances at Patrick and he looks back at her, amused. Tashi slots her arm in with Arts where he has his hand in his coat pocket as Lisa is called away by one of the workers.

“What?” Art asks. “I know I shouldn’t have but how much more fucked could we get for publicity right now anyway? Besides you’ve never liked Anna.”

“That’s not true. I loved her on the court.” Tashi smirks, “But you know what love means.”

“It means maybe you shoulda fucked her. To break the tension,” Patrick says. “Right Art?”

“Your mind,” Tashi says, with dry amusement.

“I know right,” Patrick smirks. “One of a kind.”

“Someone should study it.” She says, looping her other arm with Patrick’s.

“In a lab,” Art adds.

“Uncle Patrick!” Lily is running towards him. She’s actually really bonded with him for some reason. Reasons that are probably related to the fact that he’s an overgrown child himself. “Come look! Come look! they're doing Spider man!,” she exclaims. Tashi fights the urge to tell her not to run. The snow is slippery but she genuinely loves that Lily loves this too.

“No fuckin way!” Patrick says, matching her excitement as he walks over to meet her. He realizes what he said when Tashi’s mom is glaring and Lily starts giggling.

“I meant freaking by the way,” he says as Lily grabs his hand. “Kathy don’t kill me.” He adds, talking to Tashis mom.

“I think Uncle Patrick should pay you a dollar whenever he says a bad word, Lily,” her mom says. “Just like daddy does.”

”Yeah!” Lily says giggling. Tashi laughs as she and her mom exchange meaningful looks. If that’s the case Tashi’s now the only one exempt from the swear jar.

“Oh come on, daddy really pays you every time? That’s extortion you know. Your college tuition must be set..,” Patrick says, he spares one more smirk at Tashi and Art before Lily pulls him to the other side of the barricades where their filling up the spider-man balloon. But not before Tashi hears her say loudly. “What’s estortion?”

“Are we doing the right thing?” Art asks. Tashi takes another glance at the coordinator. She’s directing her staff where to put the banner on the float. “We do this every year Jason!” She sounds exasperated, Tashi understands the frustration just a little bit.

She turns to Art. “To the victor goes the spoils. You finally have a career slam and I’ve been dreaming of being on that float since I was a little girl. We’re absolutely doing the right thing.”

“Oh,” Art says. He starts guiding them over to the Spider-Man float.

“Oh what?” Tashi demands.

“I was talking about doing the whole throuple thing but I didn’t know that about you,” he says and he smiles. “Your childhood dream?”

She rolls her eyes. “Okay well… it’s also practical. I mean if I’m really going to coach Patrick and you really want to retire. There’s brand deals and publicity and all kinds of reasons to… And as for the throuple the whole world already thinks we’re all fucking each other anyway.”

“We are,” he smirks.

“Well they don’t know that. Like Kelly and Lauryn said, what’s the harm in playing it up a bit?” Tashi says, hoping it’s not a mistake to trust their publicists this time.

”Yeah true,” Art nods. “But let’s go back to little girl Tashi wanting to be in the parade, I can’t think of anything more adorable,” He says refusing to let her get away with changing the subject.

“Yeah well… my grandma loved that stuff,” she says trying to minimize how much she also loved it too, she gently bumps into him as they approach Spider-Man but Lily, her mom and Patrick are already on their way to SpongeBob which has just been lifted out.

”What’s your favorite float?” Art asks.

She bites her lip glaring at him but he’s so earnest she shrugs her shoulders and sighs. “Snoopy.”

If it was Patrick he’d tease a little more but Art just secures her arm and guides her away.

“Art they went that way,” Tashi says.

“I know,” Art says.

“It’s not like I’m gonna break down and cry if I see his float being put together,” she says. “I’m an adult.”

“I know,” Art says again.

She laughs and then lets herself be led down the block. The sky is opening up again, little flurries falling all around. They’re actually heading away from the crowds towards the entrance. “Art we can’t leave without them.”

“Tashi, I know,” Art says.

“So where are we—“

”Oh my God! Hi Donaldsons! I love you guys!” Some guy calls from the other side of the street.

“Congrats on the Open Art!” Someone says.

“Thanks man,” Art says.

“Team throuple!” One of his friends shouts. And someone whoops.

Arts all flushed from the cold and if it wasn’t cold it’d be because of the attention but he’s smiling.

”My life makes no sense,” Tashi says as other people walking in double take to get a look at who they are under their winter coats and hats. She notices several phones being taken out. Some attempts to be sneaky, some blatant.

Art stops them in front of a street vendor and the woman sitting there all bundled up has all kinds of stuffed animals with the characters in the parade.

“Hi,” Art says.

”Hello!” The woman exclaims. She’s older with a thick accent and Tashi is almost certain she has no idea who they are. Which… thank God for small mercies.

“Can I have that one?” Art asks. He points to a little snoopy plush holding, of all things, a tennis racket. Tashi can’t help but smile a bit.

“Oh yes sir, that’s 18.”

“You know that’s overpriced,” she says in his ear, “And I’ve outgrown stuffed animals.”

He grins at her and pulls out his wallet. “I want the little one too for our daughter.”

Tashi swallows a lump as the owner takes out a little Woodstock with a sweatband on his head. Okay it’s really cute.

Art pays entirely too much money for the little plushies but Tashi kind of adores him. Even if she’s not gonna gush all over him.

Lily isn’t anywhere near as restrained, she gets really excited for the gift and gives them hugs and kisses. She clings to the little snoopy while Tashi holds her and points out the big one as they blow it up.

“And mommy used to watch it as a little girl,” Tashi explains. “He’s my favorite.”

“He’s gonna be my puppy,” Lily hugs the plush.

Tashi kisses her cheek. Watching her as she stares with wide eyes, snow flurries landing in her hair, all the magic of it making her feel like a kid again too. It makes her heart ache in ways that it doesn’t all the time. Something Tashi realizes now was probably what Art actually wanted when he decided to share the plushies of her favorite characters with Lily.

“Lils look at his tail,” Patrick points out as the balloon fills out and Lily squeals excitedly.

“Wait, is he better than Spider-Man?” Tashi asks.

“No mommy,” Lily says and Tashi smiles. “But he can be Spider Gwens puppy.”

“Oh okay good,” Tashi laughs. “You’re still my baby girl.”

”’m a big girl mama,” Lily says.

“I know,” Tashi says, and when Art catches her eye and smiles she can’t help but fall in love with him all over again. She’s not gonna gush but something tells her he already knows.

The next day on the float Mikayla and her husband have her husbands niece with them. She’s older than Lily and much more cynical but even she’s waving excitedly at the onlookers. Tashi is excited for where Mikayla’s career is going. She’s a phenomenol tennis player and her husband is a sweetheart. It feels so much more bearable than if she’d had to share a float with Anna Mueller when she won 7 years ago.

More snow flurries are falling and like magic it doesn’t even feel cold. Patrick is sitting next to Tashi chatting with Mikayla’s husband on the other side of him. They both look around occasionally remembering to wave.

Art is in back with Mikayla, her niece, and Lily. Lily clings to Snoopy the whole time they’re on the float while her dad is holding her, she copies him as he waves to the crowd. They’re getting a bit more attention than normal for a tennis float but of course it’s all planned that way because of the so-called throuple publicity Patrick brings.

Tashi knows its dorky and if Patrick knew she had it he hasn’t said anything yet but she keeps plushy Woodstock in her coat pocket the whole time too. She rests her arm on Patrick’s shoulder and he smirks at her. “They’re going to take another picture, Patashi rumors will be all over twitter,” Patrick points out.

“I don’t go on Twitter,” Tashi shrugs. What she doesn’t say is that she kinda wants them to take her picture. Not for any rumors but just because she feels really happy.

Even if all her dreams didn’t go the way she planned and it still stings like the therapist said it likely always would. But every once in a while this mess that she calls life actually feels just… perfect.

A/N:Pretty much wrote this for me lol. Forgive me it’s been a really difficult November. For the some obvious reasons (I’m an American minority) and some not so obvious. Hope it was fun if you like this kinda thing. Even if a bit random lol.

"Are you going to keep being a bastard or can we talk now?" (Said to my cat Sunny, after he kicked Shadow out of my room for having the GALL to sit on his spot on my bed. He did not respond. He proceeded to curl up in a cat bed for the next few hours)

"Don't you yell at me." (The microwave beeped.)

"AAH- Oh, i guess we can talk now. (Sunny stepped on me and scared the shit outta me before moving to his spot and meowing at me. Hes still there. Its been hours.)

"Hey, that's impolite!" (My Husky was trying her damndest to stick her nose up my ass. I just wanted food)

"Question, is dancing around in your underwear a sane thing to do? Science says: Maybe!" (I was spinning in circles while my cats stared at me. I was clothed. Why did I say this.)

"You want me to nuke a marshmallow?" (Said to my dad, about making smores without fire. He gave me a weird look. I think it's cuz I interrupted him)

"Have you ever nuked a grape? It makes plasma, you shouldnt eat it." (... you can probably guess. I interrupted him again to say this. Whoops)

"Are we going to be nice or are we going in the tub?" (Cat, Cocoa was misbehaving. I was threatening to just put her into the bathtub and walk away. That's... not a threat.)

"Maybe love is too effective as a bribe..." (Casper the cat really likes being pet. I got him onto the giant cat hamster wheel by offering pets. A few minutes later I went out to investigate him yelling. The second he saw me, he started running on the wheel again. He just wanted pets. He does not need to do that, we give him lots of love)

"No she doesn't know how to go down stairs, she just jumps" (my Husky can't go into the basement. Too many stairs to jump over. She's unhappy about it and stares from the ground floor. She tends to whine at guests who stay downstairs. They get concerned.)

"Maybe the real friends were the snow banks we were buried in along the way" (again, about Connor to myself. The ghosts must find me very entertaining.)

"Could you move your tiny tush?" (Our second smallest cat, Mocha, was on top of my phone. I stood up for 2 seconds and she ran to it.)

"Stop it you fucking ferret!" (Lili is not a ferret. She's a cat. However she is very long and was biting my ring.)

"Fuck you, air jail." (Proceeded to hold Cocoa up by the torso where she couldn't wiggle free. She was attacking my feet)

"That's it, gay baby jail for you." (Proceeded to put Sunny into the spot for gaming consoles for like. A minute. It has a glass door and no back. He was hissing at the younger kitties. I was watching the whole time)

She was a pretty chill, laid back kitty, quick to crying like her name suggests, but one of the most major events to happen to her is her sib tragically getting caught in an bear trap and dying!! In the first doodle <— SpruceClan deputy Snowshiver is attempting to comfort grieving willow, despiteeee being the reason willow’s sib died in the first place (me when I wanna be leader so I set up scenarios that lead to my opponents gruesome ends) ☹️ next doodle is Willow chatting with her friend silverbark; they are apprentices together :) and last doodle is Willow with her father Sturdybranch he has big eyebrows :3 sturdy and willow were close but got even closer after willow’s sib’s face tragic passing. She may have more relevance to my oc story at large but that is tbd as I am still writing and plotting MWAHAHA

Lily considers her and Snow enemies, but snow has never hated lily, she finds her antics quite amusing and endearing. (Lily might have a slight crush on snow on top of it all and she does not write fanfic or doodle snowsmog ship art randomly 🤔🤔)

Hello, Sunshine, 1967

She hasn’t had a lot of time to update her photo albums lately, but with a weekend almost to herself, with Ethan and Esther at Joel and Mei’s and Lenny on tour, it’s a good time to go through things.

The last time she really sat down and did this was for Lily’s baby book, but there’s so many more photos from the last few years that have just been sitting in neat piles, waiting to be slipped into albums.

Midge likely took too many photos of Lenny and the kids. She doesn’t really need this many, but she loves them all so much. Loves to look at their faces, and remember good times. Holidays and school events. She has a photo of Lily taking her first steps towards Ethan, and Kitty and Esther dancing in the living room together.

Photos of Lenny and Susie conspiring together, and of her parents making each other laugh. Of Mei and Lan and even Joel having a good time. Of Noah and Astrid enjoying a romantic moment, and of Chaim doing a headstand.

Baby photos of Will Ford with his doting parents, and of Carly and Javier’s wedding. Of Bonnie, pregnant on the beach just a few months ago. Of Shy and Jerome sitting closely, sharing a laugh. There’s one that she loves, taken at the Stage Deli while she was pregnant with Lily, cuddled up on a bench seat with Lenny, her head resting on his chest as they look at the menu. Some paparazzi took it, and then felt bad because it’s such a sweet photo. Sold it to Midge for just a few dollars.

She puts it in the “to frame” pile, along with a photo of all the kids at the beach together in the Catskills just this past summer; soaked from swimming and sun burnt and happy, and a photo of Susie taken while she wasn’t looking, watching James’ set from backstage at the Copa.

Midge did a run at the Copa just after giving birth, and that was fun. It was fun to make jokes about worrying about lactating on stage. Lenny had actually brought Lily to her gig, so she could nurse right before and after, and surprisingly, the baby had slept right through.

“Are we sure she’s mine?” Lenny had asked jokingly. “I haven’t slept since 1941.”

“Midge?”

She looks up, finding Kitty at the doorway. There’s another photo in the “to frame” pile, of Kitty, holding Lily, both girls smiling widely; the same smile. “Hi, sweetie. Everything okay?”

She nods. “It’s getting late,” the girl points out. “Should I make us something for dinner?”

It breaks Midge’s heart a little that this little girl -- all of twelve -- still feels like she has to take so much responsibility. “Why don’t we go pick up some pizza for dinner?” she offers.

Kitty beams and nods. “Okay!”

“Wear your boots, it’s snowing a little,” Midge orders as the girls whirls around and dashes out. She sighs softly, smiling down at all her photos and taps one of Lenny smiling shyly at the camera, after his first gig after his successful appeal. “To be continued.”

CHAPTER 2 SLOWLY CONNECTING

It was quiet outside again, but the snow completely melted which was odd, but, nobody really cared, at least… Mel didn’t. She enjoyed that there was no snow as she found it less overstimulating. She was taking this opportunity to get into her back garden and oil a bench swing.

“Maybe I should plant some new flowers too… I think lavender and daisies would be nice…” Mel was interrupted by her security app notifying that someone was at the door. The girl checked the camera and saw a briefly familiar face. It was GIR! Mel left the garden and headed to the front door to let the robot in.

“This is a pleasant surprise, I didn’t think we’d see each other again.” Mel said as she brushed strands of hair out of her face. She wasn’t wearing her hoodie this time, instead a grey dress with heart patches on them, a cartoony heart, a broken heart, and an anatomically correct heart, along with barely visible pink stains. She wore a devil horned headband too, one was broken while the other was perfectly in tact. Her hair was revealed as well, it was thick and fluffy. GIR found everything about Mel beautiful.

“I just wanted to visit you!” GIR said while wagging his tail and lifting up his arms. “Oh, well, come in then. I’ve got nothing better to do today.” Mel said as she grabbed GIR by the paw and led him into the house. She gave him a brief tour, some rooms and floors being completely empty. GIR’s core heated up with excitement, just happy that he got to be near Mel again.

“Soooo… do a lot of people live here?” GIR asked as he walked with Mel. “N-No, just me, my mom, my sister, and my cat. The reason we live in an old mansion is because we used to be close with our other family members, they all chipped in to buy this place because we were all supposed to live together, but they all left for some reason… I don’t remember why.” Mel sighed before leading GIR to the fifth floor, where Mel’s room was.

“So uh… this is my room!” It was Victorian styled, deep, dark colors, mostly black and grey with occasional items across the room that were pink along with a blue dragonfly nightlight. Mel's bed was king sized, probably due to the size of the house, and it had those princess curtains, colored grey. The room had one single window, right by her bed, which was open. The gentle breeze made the wind chimes hanging from Mel's ceiling make subtle clinking sounds, the wind chimes looked like they were made of... bones...? Mel had two album covers printed out and hung up, one of which caught GIR’s attention; an album called “Your Body Speaks For You.”

“SHE HAS NO CLOTHES!!” GIR shouted and pointed at the image, which made Mel giggle. “Yeah, that’s how most people react to it… my mom actually didn’t approve of me hanging it up, but eventually let me keep it.” Not many people knew about the artist, let alone the album, so most people wouldn’t expect to see… that.

“Why do you have it hung up?” GIR asked as he and Mel sat down on the bed. “Because it’s a good album by a good… band…? Artist…? I’m not sure if they’re still a band, but who really cares? It’s music and it’s good.” GIR nodded in response “What kind of music?” Mel lit up, someone was asking about her interests! “They do a lot of harsh noise stuff, sometimes they’ll do soft piano, sometimes alternative rock, but mostly harsh stuff.” GIR nodded, letting out a curious “oooh…” as Mel spoke.

Mel smiled as she looked at the image on her wall, it looked like this album meant a lot to her. “Maybe… we could listen to some of their songs together!” Mel’s cat then suddenly ran into the room and jumped in Mel’s lap. “Oh, hi, Lily!” Mel sing-songed. “KITTY!!” GIR happily shouted before petting Lily. The cat walked over to sit in GIR’s lap, purring loudly, then proceeded to swipe at GIR’s zipper. Eventually, one swipe completely pulled the zipper down before Lily ran out of the room, giving Mel a brief glance at GIR’s robotic body.

“Huh…?” Mel curiously pulled off GIR’s hood, she gasped upon seeing the robot’s true face. “Uhh… surprise…?” Mel cupped GIR’s face before happily shouting “OH MY GOD!! YOU’RE ADORABLE!” GIR giggled at Mel’s reaction “I am!!” Mel let out swoony gibberish then stopped a few seconds later, blushing in embarrassment by her sudden reaction. “Hehe, sorry… I just really like robots.” GIR smiled in response “I don’t mind!” he said honestly.

The robot completely took off his disguise, lifting his arms up in the air and saying “tada!” Mel laughed at GIR’s actions, he was almost too cute. Mel reached out to pat GIR on the head. “So uhm… what should we do now?” GIR smiled wider “We can listen to the music you were talking about!” Mel nodded and began playing the album she spoke of minutes prior. GIR scooted closer to Mel, pressing his arm against her’s and settling into a pseudo cuddle as they listened.
