NONSEXUAL ACTS OF INTIMACY - REDSONG
characters : shanks , pearl , uta , marco (mentioned) , a secret mention of a certain tragic oc of mine ;)
warnings : angst - some comfort , the threat of character death , feelings of helplessness.
word count : 0.6k
authors note : another of the prompts done! i wanna try to have two done a day, just so its a lot more manageable! but if more getg one, more get done. this was was championed by @loganwritesprobably - who chose the prompt via random number!
prompt : caring for each other while ill (specify which party is which)
shanks liked to call himself a capable man. anything he wished was at his fingertips. feared as a pirate, there were little problems he had to struggle with.
maybe thats why he felt so helpless, watching her die. he had managed to stave off death so far, but it was an active threat. in the dim lighting of her room, a corner was ignited purely by the embers of her vivre card. pearl belon was at death's door, fighting a rapid infection and serious fever. at first he tried to be playful, especially when the others had managed to gather in a rare moment. his job was to ensure no one was too miserable before pearl, to ease her mind and let her focus on recovery. but as they all left, burdened by their own responsibilities shanks began to falter.
he carefully dipped the towel into the bucket of ice water, squeezing it tightly in his hand and placing it once again on her forehead. pearl softly whined, leading him to coo at her.
“sorry beautiful, doctors orders.” he whispered, brushing her hair from her face as she shivered. pearl had always been an indomitable woman, steadfast in front of even the most devious of enemies. it was hard to really imagine this being his beautiful pearl. pale-faced and quaky, she had lost a lot of weight in her illness. all they could do was make her as comfortable as possible as they tracked down marco. the doctor could undoubtedly break the fever, and kill the stupid infection once and for all. if she had still been around then well — ah no matter, no point in thinking of avenues that he wasn't willing to go down. at least not yet. shanks was growing more and more tempted to raise gryphon once more to enact revenge that was well overdue.
but for now he stood guard at her bedside, tending to her through the night. occasionally she broke through to consciousness, and he quickly moved to soothe her worries, gently convincing her that she was not a burden and that while he admired her devotion to him enough to die, shanks much preferred to have his wife alive.
the door cracked open, and shanks rose his eyes to face whoever dared to intrude. only for his gaze to soften at the sight of his daughter.
“how's mom doing?” uta asked softly, clinging to the door as she stared down pearl's slow breathing. no doubt she was overanalyzing everything and making the worst appear in that vivid mind of hers. shanks’ eyes shone in sadness as his hand reached out for her. uta's eyes watered, rushing to grab her father’s hand and collapse at his knee, burrowing her face in his lap as she began to sob. shanks sighed softly and combed his fingers through her split-toned hair. it was hard for anyone to watch their parents suffer, and while they all stayed strong it was impossible to expect perfection.
“do you..do you think she’ll live?” uta said between hiccups, looking at her sickly mother. it was hard to say, and shanks didn't want to completely wave away the possibility that they may be having a funeral rather than a celebration of her recovery.
“you know pearl, she's a strong woman. a crafty one at that— she will do her best i'm sure of it.” he replied, hushing her cries as she desperately tried to hold back. uta felt a wetness on her head and she looked up to a sight she had never seen before. she rose to hug her father as he tightly held her close, the two continuing in their crying. never had the two dreamed to imagine that pearl would be in such a predicament, and there was feasibly nothing they could do but wait.
it was so terribly difficult to keep their spirits up, sometimes this was warranted.

OMG THIS IS SO SO SO GOOD YOU CAPTURED PEARL AND SHANKS RELATIONSHIP SO WELL THANK YOU
─ Anchored Hearts
✎ shanks x pearl
♦︎fic type: one-shot, fic-trade
♦︎ summary: through the motivation of their daughter Uta, Shanks and Pearl stop dancing around eachother and finally go on their long awaited date.
♦︎word count: 2.5k
♦︎warnings: None
♦︎a/n: this is another fic trade done with a friend, I don't remember their @ but till definitely tag them once I find it! I loved writing Pearl, she's a find character and her relationship with Shanks is cute!
The soft hum of the sea carried a gentle breeze through the village, rustling leaves and tugging at colorful festival banners strung from building to building. The sky, a tapestry of fading oranges and deepening purples, signaled the start of the festival’s evening celebration. Among the crowd that gathered for the festivities, Pearl stood out like a rare gem washed ashore. Her powder blue hair cascaded down in soft waves, catching the last rays of sunlight, and her fair skin almost glowed in the twilight. Her posture was poised, refined; her serene smile framed by lips that spoke with a melody so smooth it could calm the fiercest storm.
Pearl had always carried herself with a regal grace, elegance embedded in every movement. She walked with an air of timeless confidence, speaking to everyone with the warmth of an old friend, even if they had just met. Yet beneath this public composure, there was a fire—something more opinionated, more raw, that only her closest companions ever witnessed.
This evening, that sharpness was dialed back. She was content, savoring the festival atmosphere, her eyes flickering across the twinkling lights and the sea of happy faces, but occasionally her gaze would drift to Shanks, standing nearby, his broad frame illuminated by the soft glow of lanterns. Uta, Shanks' daughter, was fluttering between them with barely contained excitement, her bright eyes glinting with mischief. At just eleven years old, Uta was already far too clever for her own good, and Pearl could see right through her little charade.
Still, she let Uta play her games. There was something charming in the girl’s attempts to set her father and Pearl up, even though Pearl and Shanks were already well aware of her intentions. Pearl smiled inwardly as Uta darted between villagers, whispering and plotting. The child wasn’t subtle, not in the slightest, but Pearl admired her spirit. The girl saw something between her and Shanks—something she desperately wanted to nurture, and Pearl wouldn't deny that she wanted that something to become more as well.
As for Shanks, he stood a few paces away, laughing with a few crewmates, his eyes always drawn back to Pearl as though pulled by an invisible thread. His gaze, warm and affectionate, made her feel more grounded than she had in years. She had sailed with many, walked through many villages, but there was something about being near Shanks that made her feel… safe, in a way she hadn't allowed herself to feel in a long time. The festivities ramped up around them, with villagers gathering to play games and share food, but Pearl remained calm, observing everything with an amused glint in her eyes. She knew what was coming next—Uta had made it so painfully obvious that Pearl couldn't help but chuckle under her breath. But, for the sake of the girl’s delight, she pretended ignorance.
"Mom, Mom!" Uta’s high-pitched voice cut through the noise of the festival, her small frame barreling toward her with a grin too wide to be innocent. "There’s this game I want you to try! I already told Dad." Shanks wandered over, grinning like the fool he was, hands resting casually in his pockets. "Looks like we’ve both been summoned." Pearl tilted her head, giving Shanks a knowing look that he returned with a playful wink. "I see. How could I refuse such a gracious invitation?" Uta led them toward a game booth, her energy infectious as she bounced ahead. Pearl followed at her own pace, moving with the deliberate elegance that came naturally to her. Every step purposeful, every glance measured. Shanks walked beside her, his presence comforting, though the tension between them simmered quietly beneath the surface.
As they approached the booth, Pearl noticed the game involved throwing rings onto the necks of bottles, a child’s game. Her lips twitched in amusement. "Don’t worry, Pearl," Shanks said, leaning slightly toward her. "I'll go easy on you." Pearl raised a delicate eyebrow, her smile widening into something more mischievous. "That won’t be necessary. But please, try not to cry when I win." Uta giggled from behind the counter, barely able to contain her excitement as the two adults bantered. They each took their rings, Shanks tossing his with an almost casual arrogance that missed entirely, causing Uta to burst into laughter. Pearl, on the other hand, measured her throw with precision, easily hooking the ring around the bottle’s neck. "I guess I’m no good at carnival games." Shanks scratched his head sheepishly, though the smile never left his face. "Looks like the mighty Red-Haired Shanks can’t handle a simple game of rings," Pearl teased, her voice lilting with amusement. There was an easiness between them that felt natural, as though they had been playing these games their whole lives.
As the night wore on, Pearl and Shanks found themselves moving through the festival together, whether playing more games, sampling the village’s cuisine, or watching local performances. All the while, Uta hovered nearby, orchestrating the events, no doubt pushing them closer and closer. When the fireworks finally lit up the night sky, painting the darkness with brilliant colors, Pearl stood at the edge of the village square, her eyes reflecting the dazzling display above. “It’s beautiful, isn’t it?” she asked, her voice low, almost as if she were speaking more to herself than to him. Shanks stood beside her, his usual playful demeanor softened into something quieter, more introspective.
“It is,” Shanks replied, though his eyes weren’t on the sky. Instead, they lingered on Pearls, who seemed to be lost in thought as they locked eyes. Her eyes were much softer, not like her usual calculating glances, her eyes held a calmness to them. A warmth, perhaps, that Shanks wasn’t used to seeing so openly from her, however, he was glad he could witness this warmth radiating from her. Uta reappeared at that moment, tugging at Pearl’s sleeve. “There’s one more thing!” she said excitedly. “I’ve planned a dinner for you and Dad—just the two of you! It’s by the beach, at sunset. I know you’ll love it!” Pearl exchanged a glance with Shanks, and they both smiled knowingly. Uta’s intentions had been clear from the beginning, but neither of them had the heart to spoil her fun. Besides, the idea of a quiet dinner with Shanks sounded… nice. More than nice, even.
Uta led them to a secluded spot near the edge of the village, where a small table was set up, illuminated by the soft glow of candlelight. Overhead, someone had hung a sprig of mistletoe, though it was the middle of spring, and Pearl couldn’t help but chuckle at the sight. “She really went all out,” Pearl said, shaking her head with fondness. Shanks grinned, pulling out a chair for her. “What can I say? Our girl’s got big dreams.” As they sat down, the last of the sun’s rays stretched across the horizon, casting a golden glow over the water. The moment felt almost surreal—too perfect, too calm for the life they led. But Pearl wasn’t one to question such things. She leaned into the peacefulness, allowing herself to enjoy the low hum of the evening.
"So,” Pearl began, leaning forward slightly, her voice smooth as she rested her chin on her hand, her hat casting a soft shadow over her face; Shanks' heart skipped at the sight of her ethereal smile. “You’ve been rather quiet about your intentions tonight. Was this really all Uta’s doing, or did you have a hand in it?” Shanks grinned, his eyes glinting with amusement. “I’ll admit, I didn’t stop her from making plans. But you can’t blame me for wanting to spend more time with you, can you?” Pearl raised an eyebrow, her lips curving into a teasing smile. “Oh, so now the truth comes out. You’re the one behind this elaborate setup.” Shanks chuckled, shaking his head. “I wouldn’t go that far. But if Uta wants to give me a little nudge, who am I to stop her?” Pearl leaned back in her chair, her purple eyes gleaming with playful challenge. “And what exactly do you plan to do with this ‘nudge,’ Red-Hair?”
Shanks met her gaze, his smile softening as he leaned forward, his voice low and teasing. “Well, I was thinking I’d make the most of it.” Pearl tilted her head, her smile coy. “Oh? And how do you plan to do that?” Shanks’ grin widened, his voice taking on a more flirtatious tone. “I suppose that depends on how much you’re willing to let me.” Pearl’s laughter bubbled up again, her eyes dancing with amusement. “You’re bold, I’ll give you that.” “And you like it,” Shanks replied, his tone playful yet confident. Pearl’s smirk grew as she took a sip of her water, her gaze never leaving his. “Perhaps.”
Throughout the evening they continued their playful banter and light flirting, unable to ignore the warmth growing on their cheeks from each compliment. They happily enjoyed eachother's presence and attention but as a bundle of mistletoe dangled above them, catching Pearl’s eye once again, she found herself laughing. “What?” Shanks asked, though he was already smiling in that disarmingly charming way of his. “Uta really has an eye for detail,” Pearl said, gesturing to the mistletoe. “A bit out of season, don’t you think?” Shanks looked up, his grin widening as he took in the scene. “Yeah, but I think we should play along, don’t you?” Pearl felt her heart skip a beat, though she kept her composure as she met his gaze. “Oh, so now you’re a stickler for tradition?”
“Only when it suits me,” Shanks replied, his voice dropping to a more serious tone, his eyes never leaving hers. For a moment, the world around them seemed to fade away, leaving only the two of them in this small bubble of time. Shanks leaned in first, closing the distance between them with an easy confidence, but Pearl was the one who closed her eyes and met him halfway. Their lips brushed softly, the kiss tender and unhurried, as though they had all the time in the world. The world around them seemed to fall away as their lips connected, Pearl's mind spinning from the warmth of his mouth. She could taste the faint hint of sea salt on him, mixed with a surprising sweetness, like cherries. It was a little unexpected—rough around the edges, but with an undeniable softness that made her heart skip a beat.
Shanks, on the other hand, was lost in the feel of her lips. They were softer than he had imagined, even in his wildest daydreams. He’d been waiting for this—longer than he cared to admit—and now that it was happening, it felt better than he’d ever thought it could. Her lips moved against his with a grace that left him breathless, her warmth sinking into him with every second that passed. He kept it gentle, slower than the rush of the moment might have urged him to, savoring every bit of it. To his surprise, she kissed him back with just as much restraint, a tenderness he hadn’t expected. For someone so strong and confident, Pearl let herself melt into the kiss, and Shanks reveled in the sensation. His thumb lightly brushed her cheek as his other hand rested on the small of her back, pulling her just a bit closer. It wasn’t an overpowering gesture, but rather one of reassurance, as if to say he was there, holding her as carefully as he could.
Pearl, for her part, felt her pulse quicken. Despite the intensity of the moment, there was a certain gentleness in the way Shanks held her, in the way his lips moved slowly and deliberately against hers. She appreciated it—the care, the tenderness. It made her feel like he wasn’t just indulging in a moment of passion, but rather savoring her, treating her like she was something precious.
When they finally broke apart, Pearl’s eyes fluttered open, her breath still caught somewhere in her chest. Their gazes locked, and for a moment, neither of them said anything. Shanks’ boyish smirk had softened, the usual mischief replaced with something far more sincere. His eyes, though still twinkling with that familiar playful spark, now held a softness she hadn’t seen before. Pearl’s lips curled into a light giggle, unable to help herself as she watched him. There was something disarming about seeing this side of him—something that made her chest tighten in a way she hadn’t expected. Shanks grinned at the sound of her laughter, his arms pulling her just a little closer, as if afraid to let go. Without missing a beat, he leaned in again, this time pressing a series of small, affectionate kisses along her cheek. Each one was quick, playful, but there was a tenderness behind every peck that made Pearl’s heart flutter.
“You’re really laying it on thick, Captain,” Pearl teased, her voice light and amused, though she made no effort to pull away. Shanks chuckled against her skin, his breath warm as he continued to press more kisses along her cheek, pausing only to murmur, “Can’t help it. I’ve got a lot to make up for.” Pearl laughed again, the sound soft and almost shy, as she felt his lips brush against her skin repeatedly, leaving trails of warmth wherever he kissed her. There was something so endearing about the way he did it—his typical confidence replaced by an almost boyish eagerness. And yet, it didn’t feel rushed or overbearing. It felt… sweet. Like he was savoring every little moment with her.
Just as Shanks was about to place another kiss near the corner of her mouth, a small, familiar voice interrupted them from the shadows. Uta’s head popped up from behind a nearby bush, her eyes wide with curiosity. “Did it work?” she asked, her voice full of hope. Pearl and Shanks both burst into laughter, beckoning Uta over to join them at the table. “Yes, it worked,” Pearl said, her voice full of warmth as she pulled Uta into a hug. “You’ve done well.” Uta beamed with pride as she slid into the seat between them, looking between her father and Pearl with wide, excited eyes. “Are you happy?” Pearl smiled, her heart full as she exchanged a look with Shanks. “Yes,” she said softly, “very happy.” And as the three of them sat together, continuing their meal with the new addition, under the fading light of the sunset, Pearl felt a contentment she hadn’t known she needed.
The festival continued around them, with laughter and music floating on the air, but in this small corner of the world, everything felt still, peaceful. Pearl glanced at Shanks once more, catching the way his eyes softened when he looked at Uta, then at her. She hadn’t realized until now how much she’d been craving this—a sense of belonging, of family. The evening stretched on, and they lingered at the table long after the food had been eaten, lost in conversation. Uta’s presence only added to the warmth of the night, her innocent questions and bubbly personality making both adults laugh. And as the stars shimmered above them, casting a gentle glow over the quiet village, Pearl knew that this was just the beginning of something new. Something real. Something that, for once, felt like it could last.

I THINK I possibly asked this before but if you had to give Redpaw a suffix, what would it be?
Black, Mud, and Worm would be cool too but none are critical to know, I'm just super curious and might have Red in a story

men who would have a big wolfy grin after making you squirt for the first time. practically laughing at you, laughing at how they fucked you so dumb all you could do was squirt.
“daddy fucked you dumb, hmm? feel good?” he groaned. “you look so fucking pathetic, pussy all stretched, whimpering like a bitch. making such a big mess” you felt embarrassed, humiliated. it was your first time feeling such pleasure, you didn’t know what it was until it happened. his words made your pussy clench, loving every second of him humiliating you. you turn your head away, feeling flustered.
“look at me.” he ordered. and you obeyed, not daring to defy him. “you’re gonna do that again, but this time it’ll be in my mouth.” he says as he lowers his head, kissing and biting the inside of your thighs. “you hear me.” “yes daddy.” he smirks before giving your clit a good long lick. “atta girl.”

logan cooking AS PER USUAL !!!! i love redsong so much~!
Reunited
A special something I wrote for @frillsinadress of Shanks and her OC Pearl! Enjoy my lovely..
Content/Warnings: Shanks/OC, OC crew, fluff, soft!Shanks, smut, anniversary celebration, public sex, oral (f!receiving), raw sex, pull out, breast worship
To say their relationship had been anything but normal would be an understatement. Pearl and Shanks were powerhouses on the ocean in their own rights, even if you don’t factor in their relationship, and when they came together it was like a tornado meeting a tsunami, a true force to be reckoned with. It’d been over three years since they’d gotten together now, and finally the two of them were able to get together to celebrate.
Pearl jumped aboard the red force, greeting the various crew members as she passed them, leaving them with her crew to secure the boats together for a while. It was their anniversary, a special occasion, and they deserved some real time together for once. Shanks emerged from the belly of the ship, arm extended for his lover, and in a show of girlish love for her partner, Pearl picked up her pace and ran toward him, allowing Shanks to lift her up from her feet to spin her around with ease, his strength on clear show. They laughed together, bringing a lighter feeling to the air around them. Pearl leaned down and pressed her lips gently against Shanks’, grinning all the while.
“My treasure.” Shanks said softly, hardly pulling away to speak, his lips still brushing against hers as he spoke. He couldn’t bear parting with her anymore than he strictly had to.
“Hey, handsome.” She replied, pressing another gentle kiss against his lips.
And everything was right in the world again.
They spent the day catching up with each other’s crews, spending time together, telling stories of their adventures all while Pearl and Shanks were glued to each other’s sides. It’d been too long, there was nothing on hell nor Earth that could make them part now, before they absolutely had to. As evening rolled around, and the crews became rowdier, eating food and drinking ale, Shanks whisked Pearl away on a small rowboat, to get away from all the noise and rowdiness. Pearl rowed, much to Shanks’ frustration, but at least that meant he got to admire her. His woman. He'd claimed her years ago, and now he has the privilege of being her's in return. There'd been many partners across his life, but none held a candle to his treasure.
“You've told me to row but you've not told me where we're going.” Pearl said with a laugh, nudging Shanks with her foot to snap him out of his stupor, which made him shake his head as if shaking the cobwebs from his brain.
“You'll see. Just keep going in this direction. Have a little faith, dearest.”
“Do you know where we're going?” Pearl asked with a raised brow, quickly glancing around but still seeing little else except their ships, anchored and tied together in the middle of the ocean.
“Yes, I do. Just keep rowing. You will see.”
And see she did.
Finally, after another ten minutes of rowing, they unexpectedly hit land. She continued pushing until the rowboat was successfully embedded in the sand so it wouldn't be washed away by the waves, then allowed Shanks to help her from the boat, pulling her hand to his lips to kiss her knuckles.
“You really did know where we were going.” Pearl commented and Shanks just sighed, reaching out to haul her up and lifted her over his shoulder. Pearl shrieked and laughed, kicking out with protests.
“If you're going to keep being mean..” Shanks just trailed off and began walking deeper into the abandoned island, Pearl settling on his shoulder purely because she was quite happy to not have to walk after rowing the entire way to the island.
Shanks pushed through bushes and tree branches, careful not to let anything hit Pearl, until he found the spot he’d been looking for. He wasn’t lost, honestly. Mostly. He gently set his lover down, but quickly wrapped his arm around her head to cover her eyes.
“It’s worth it, just hold on and walk with me, love.” He urged, and though she sighed Pearl was grinning, and willing to follow ahead with whatever Shanks was planning. He guided her carefully, stepping awkwardly together and laughing all the while. She never laughed quite as much with anyone else like she did with Shanks. Finally, Shanks stopped and Pearl stumbled slightly, knocking back into his chest.
“Are you ready?” Shanks whispered against her ear, and after that Pearl was certainly ready for something. Pearl nodded and Shanks removed his arm, allowing her to see where he’d taken them.
The island was gorgeous, and Shanks had led her into a clearing in the woods that reflected that. The trees had grown oddly, like there had previously been an object between them that forced them to grow around it, but now it had been removed so there was a perfect window through the foliage that showed the moon shining against the inky waves of the ocean.
“This place is beautiful.” Pearl murmured, taking a few steps from her partner to really take it in. Clearly Shanks had been here before the two had met up, because there was a blanket on the ground and lanterns hung around the clearing that he now took to lighting with some matches he’d pulled from the pack of food they’d brought.
“So are you.” Shanks replied, and Pearl could only laugh, sitting down on the soft blanket at her feet, slipping off her shoes for more comfort.
“All these years, and you’ve still got it.” Pearl said as she reached for her partner, pulling him down to the ground to sit beside her.
The couple sat and ate together, reminiscing of the years they’d spent together. The atmosphere was light and easy, and all the words flowing with only love to be shared. Three whole years, and so many more to come. They had so much in front of them, including the dawn of the world, that they both knew was coming.
Shanks leaned in and pressed a slow, languid kiss to Pearl’s lips.
“I love you.” He murmured, brushing Pearl’s hair behind her ear.
“I love you too, handsome.” She responded, taking his hand in her own. It was sweet and sappy and it was them. The moments like this were few and far between, so they had to take advantage of the time that they had now. Taking advantage of that also meant using the privacy they’d managed to take care of some more primal desires. It took no extra temptation, no verbal request, and certainly no pleading for Shanks to gently push Pearl backward to lay on the ground, his cloak that had been discarded some hours ago pulled beneath her hair to keep it free from dirt. Shanks’ eager hand explored his lover’s body, teasing and light, watching as she grew increasingly wanting.
“Don’t tease.” She said, reaching out to tangle her fingers in his hair. She pulled Shanks down for another deep kiss, bending her leg at the knee to press up against his crotch where he was already hard, and Pearl couldn’t help smirking.
“Missed you so much, love.” He mumbled, finally putting his desires into action. Shanks kissed from her lips across her face and down to her jaw, then further downward to her neck where he couldn’t help nipping and sucking, leaving a few dark marks on her skin to show ownership. They were separated so often, and he couldn’t have anyone thinking she was in any way available. Pearl lay below him, hands searching his skin and beginning to unbutton his shirt for further access to his godly body, breathing out in soft pants.
They were so familiar with each other’s bodies, a type of familiarity that only came from years of love, years of being given the chance to explore and memorise. Shanks continued his pursuit downward and deftly unbuttoned Pearl’s shirt to gain access to her breasts. He made quick work of her bra and tossed it behind him onto the blanket to stay clean, and then there was nothing else in his way to stop him. Leaning against his shoulder, his hand reached for one nipple, rolling it between his fingers and gently pulling, and when Pearl gasped out a breathy moan, he took the other into his mouth, sucking on it, swirling his tongue around it, if only to hear more of her precious sounds. While she wanted to return the favour, Pearl quickly paused her attempts to allow Shanks to do as he pleased, unable to attempt to pleasure him with his hand and mouth on her body like that.
Though, Shanks was usually patient and dedicated when it came to his lover’s pleasure, with so long spent apart he had far less patience to spare, and quickly moved on and down her body further, urging Pearl upward so he could remove her bottoms to get to her core, finding her underwear already wet for him.
“I’ll do it properly after this, promise, just need to feel you.” He mumbled from where he knelt before her, her legs on his shoulders so he could press kisses to the soft skin, nipping gently to leave small red marks behind.
“Please, Shanks.” She urged, far needier and impatient than usual, eager for him to fill her up and pleasure her in the way that only he could.
In an impulsive move, Shanks leaned down and took Pearl’s underwear in his teeth, not tugging them down but rather tearing them, giving him the easiest access he could get. Pearl gasped, body shuddering at the bizarre show of strength and desire, her pussy only growing wetter.
“You look so fucking gorgeous like this. Don’t know how I kept my hands off you so long.”
“Then stop waiting.” Pearl urged, and with a shit eating grin, Shanks used her legs over his shoulders to pull her closer and dove into her pussy like a man starved, pushing his tongue inside her for just a small taste of her, then moving to her clit to bring her pleasure. Pearl moaned loudly, arms raised to grip the fabric beneath her head, thighs tightening around Shanks’ head but rather than making him stop, the increased pressure only made Shanks moan against her clit, furthering Pearl’s pleasure in return.
Even the temptation of his lover’s sweet taste couldn’t keep Shanks’ attention for long however, with the primary purpose of pressing his tongue to her heat being to make her wet enough to take him. He gently lowered Pearl to the ground and tugged down his own trousers just to his knees to reveal his hard, aching dick, red at the tip and leaking slowly. He spat into his palm and coated his length with the wetness, and then finally pressed himself against her. Both softly groaned, and Pearl wrapped her legs around Shanks’ waist, her fingers already seeking his hair to grip it tightly. Their lips crashed together again, Pearl able to taste herself on her lover’s lips and tongue, and it only made her more desperate to take him inside.
“Fuck me, darling. Please, fuck me.” She panted against his lips, and as much as a tease as Shanks may be, that wasn’t a request he could deny. He took his dick in hand and lined his tip with her entrance, and then pushed inside her in one slow movement.
Both moaned, finally connected in the most sensual way, and Pearl couldn’t help tugging at Shanks’ hair, urging him onward.
“Don’t stop, fuck me, I’m not fragile.” She grunted, and with a soft, airy laugh, Shanks obeyed. He was powerless to do anything else for his girl. So he fucked her. He moved fast and hard, slamming his hips against hers, fulfilling the need they both had to orgasm together, to find pleasure in the other and it took just minutes for the two of them to find the peak they were seeking, Pearl loudly moaning his name and then Shanks pulling out to cum over her stomach, always careful because of the dangerous lives they led.
“One of these days, I’m gonna marry you.” Shanks mumbled into Pearl’s hair while they lay wrapped up in each other’s arms, chest to chest, cum smeared over both their skin. The words caught her off guard, and she shifted backward slightly to look up into Shanks’ eyes.
“You know, when you started that sentence, I was expecting you to say that one day you’re gonna put a baby in me.”
“That too, eventually.” Shanks replied with a smirk, and he couldn’t help trailing his fingers down her body to push inside Pearl’s heat, eager to bring her to peak once again.

CONFESSIONS : REDSONG
characters : akagami no shanks , pearl belon , benn beckman , captain aoi (oc) , sakazuki (mentioned)
warnings : fluff , confessions , drinking , slight mentions of slavery
word count : 1k
authors note : OKAY i am slowly posting my drabbles from the opoc world discord server run by beloved moot @discordantwritings ! this is one of the first i cooked up for my oc x shanks ship!
the two were drunk again- a phrase beckmen was slowly getting used to saying alongside calling his captain a drunkard. ever since the red haired pirates had become acquainted with the song pirates it seems the crew’s ability to party doubled. everyday was a grand show with live music and copious amounts of booze- and at the helm of it all were them.
pearl was a showy woman, beautiful and charming. her looks alone caught shanks like a fish deprived of food. one would’ve thought the two would simply be a careful fling, simply looking for the company of someone beautiful or powerful and move on. but they kept meeting, over and over. pearl wasn't a bad person, quite the opposite. their first meeting with the song pirates was pearl freeing a field of slaves and ushering them onto her ship.
he knew something between them was brewing. with too many longing gazes when the other wasn't looking and the way they simply giggled ‘one more dance wouldn't hurt’ and swayed to the beat for minutes that turned into hours. beckmen was sure at first it was all superficial, when he caught pearl tenderly caring to shanks when he was experiencing a bout of phantom pain, whispering soothing words that eventually boiled into genuine, vulnerable talk he began to wonder if the seas most famous womanizer would eventually be anchored down.
but tonight merriment continued. pearl and shanks were elbow locked, twirling and whirling about the deck. her crew were personally celebrating a massive victory in freeing several slaves. no doubt the entire grand line would hear them!
shanks laughed, tugging pearl to sit atop his knee after almost six songs of straight dancing. pearl shared in the joy, leaning into him immediately and gracefully taking the tankard of some random alcohol he had handed her before taking his own. with a quick clink the two set to drinking.
“what a day!” she said with eager excitement, looking at shanks as he looked out at the crew.
“i’ve never seen my men this merry, you’ve truly cast a spell on them *siren songstress of the sea.~*” shanks teased as she rolled her eyes and playfully scoffed.
“blame your men for being so easily swayed!” she said, sighing happily at the noise and energy that surrounded her. the two kept their tankards filled and their smiles bright. as the night raged on the two were absorbed in a conversation raging between them and their peers about which marine admiral they could beat in a race. pearl was white girl wasted, leaning against shanks and practically melting. hell he wasn't much better.
“pearl, my pearl you truly are something, challenging that evil sakazuki!” shanks said sloppily, nuzzling his cheek against her own. pearl had proudly declared herself the winner of the hypothetical marathon.
“because! if i were to win and he got angry i know my emperor would swoop into save me!” she giggled back as shanks nodded and then loudly enough for his voice to travel said,
“i would never let that - that *brute* lay a hand on you, my love! mine alone, id make sure you’re the safest woman the world has ever seen.” as he spoke he began to pepper kisses across pearls soft skin, causing her to yelp and laugh at the sudden affection. the two had never passed heavy petting, and suddenly this was welcomed.
“no one— shall hurt my woman, the one i love.” shanks rambled, his words slurring as he moved to press kisses across her face. pearl felt her heart race at his confession, panic lacing her hands as she gently tried to push him off. his lips touched dangerously near where that heinous scar lie— something she feared he would see and find repulsive. she whined softly as his lips moved, the tankard he once held discarded to hold her cheek with such delicacy that her heart was at war.
his lips brushed against her right socket and he froze, pulling back to stare at her. this was it, he would shove her off his knee and leave. but then he brushed her bangs from her face and pressed his lips firmly against her eyelid. she gasped, freezing up until he began to speak.
“like this, that captain aoi. he should count to ever lucky star, pray to every god — simply cuz of your mercy. i wish you’d let me handle him for you. i'd bring him to your feet and let you watch as i behead him for hurting you.” he confessed, words that soothed the pain that coursed through her. his words while in a drunken stupor were genuine, he always was. she pushed his head back and her hands reached up to grab his face and smash her lips against his. shanks eagerly reciprocated, wrapping his arm firmly around her waist. her arms linked behind his neck as a chorus of cheers erupted from around them. they had been wondering if this song and dance was ever going to amount to anything.
the light and music kept up into the early night, but eventually lulled into more natural beauty as many headed to bed. pearl found herself joining shanks, immediately face
planting drunkenly upon his mattress with shanks almost smothering her into the pillows. the hangover the next day was miserable, and the day had begun with a fresh clear morning.
pearl and her crew were set to go towards another island as per their typical schedule, and once the ships were ready to depart she met him on the plank between their ships. her graceful hands rested at her hips and she beamed at him.
“you love me?” pearl started,
“i do.”
“and you mean it?”
“every word.”
“okay.”
“okay?”
“mhm.”
“well then my love, until next time?”
“of course, i already miss you.” pearl finished, taking the pocket watch that had her vivre card and kissed it gently before turning and stepping onto her ship. she turned to wave him off as the ships split apart. but as he watched them go he swore he heard the familiar girlish squeals of pearl and her crew as they no doubt celebrated the new relationship.
