Sunghoon has your back pressed on his chest, hands possessively on your hips as you dance. You look around, scanning every single person who enters just to be ready whenever Jungwon gets here. And Sunghoon was doing the same. he honestly saw Jungwon get in at least ten minutes ago, but didnt tell you, wanting to be with you just a bit more.

“Your little toy is coming here.” “Is he looking at me?” You say, turning around to look Sunghoon in the eyes. Your eyes shine whenever you’re tipsy, but everything about you seems normal. “Who isn’t?” He whispers, looking behind you for a second before giving you a gentle pat on the shoulder and going away.

You roll your eyes, already knowing that Jungwon is behind you, hence why he got away without even saying bye. “Is he in a bad mood?” jungwon asks you, making you turn to him. He has two drinks in his hands, and without saying hi or thank you you just grab one of them. “I guess he is whenever you come up.”

He shrugs, not really caring about your friend. He’s here for you after all. You take a good look at him. He’s wearing a black blazer and pants, nothing under the jacket except for a necklace. The V neck is showing so much of his body, but you have no shame checking him out so openly. Jungwon chuckles, his fingers going under his chin, raising your head gently. “My eyes are up here, pretty.”

You put the straw between your lips, drinking the cocktail he gave you. Your eyes not leaving his now. You cant tell what kind of drink it is, but you can taste the rum in it, which isnt one of your favorites, but its not like you care now. “You look good, Jungwon.” “Yeah i think i got the message by how you were checking me out.”

“Can you blame me?” His eyes scan you from top to bottom, the dress you’re wearing is making him have so many thoughts. How your curves look, those knee high boots making your thighs look even more irresistible. “No. Not really.”

You smirk and take his hand to bring him closer to the dance floor. He doesn’t seem to complain, actually, you’re both having lots of fun. The alcohol still isnt enough to get through your head, but the night just started. He puts his hands on your waist and lowers himself so that he can say something to my ear, the music so loud you wouldn’t understand him otherwise.

“Can I ask you a question?” He says, and you furrow your brows, if he has a question, he might as well just say it. Still, you nod and he keeps going. “What happened to last year’s guy?” you stop moving at that question, your eyes looking coldly into his, thats the last question you wanted to hear, but he doesn’t look like he’s regretting what he asked. “Nothing i would want to repeat.”

Jungwon just nods, that surely didnt answer his question at all, but he’s not dumb enough to keep on going. You appreciate him not going further with the interrogation. You look up, noticing that the vip room had finally opened up, Jay and Nicho were already on the platform, looking down at the party.

“Let’s go. Its lame down here.”

first off, this blog isnt and wont be the space where i bombard you all with ‘self help content’. i plan to keep posting as i always have. however, a few people have asked me questions about how and why i perceive things as i do or how ive gained a level of self awareness that helps me work through personal 'suffering', soooo i compiled my observations in a document for anyone who’s interested. the document contains 1/2 of the theory behind a practice that came to me as i was fasting in 2018. the overall practice has been v helpful for me, but i think generally having the awareness condensed in this document will be helpful. (as per request, i did try to make a video on this already but it didn't hit the spot for me. i like to be thorough and although the video was v long, it was somehow not concise or detailed enough??? nevertheless, as some of u said it was useful, i’ll leave it up).

secondly, i put up a second video that goes in depth (its 50+ mins!! so do as u will or won't) explaining the theory behind the physical practice, which consists of breathing & posture work. breath work and and altering your posture target the energy centres detailed in the document & are how ive been tapping into and transmuting trapped energy both physical, emotional and mental. this video is just an explanation of what i do in the practice, and why. the practice itself it helps with symptoms of stress, both physical, mental and emotional. these include jaw problems, palpitations, chest tightness, shortness of breath, and a whole bunch of other things.

Gonna be real this post feels incredibly disingenuous. Have Psyops cropped up in the past? Yes. Eternally. Are there likely bots and real folks pushing people not to vote in the election for bad faith reasons? Of course! But this attitude that anyone you see disillusioned with the voting system who are loudly against voting is some fuckin foreign bad actor seems incredibly short sighted. It leads to a breakdown in communication where no one will listen to those hurt and frustrated with the democratic party. Worse off it pushes people away from any solution because if you wont look at the festering wound you will never bandage it. The way I see it both parties do work in tandem. The Republican party is determined to radicalize their base and go to further and further extremes, feeding off an uneducated, deeply frustrated and scared, population. But the Democratic party is HAPPY with this! This is their strategy. There is a reason the Democratic party rarely fulfills their promises, there is a reason that whenever they have the chance they never secure human rights, the reason is because they can hold it over us like jingling keys. all they have to do is wait for us to get desperate enough to vote for them because they're better than the other guys, let the republicans loudly and proudly declare their awful intentions. if the democrats lose, well, they look like the good guys! minorities suffer and they pull on our leash, and when the next election cycle comes we are desperate to vote for them.

And if they win? They barely protect our rights, they uphold the status quo, and then they quietly turn around and do half the shit we raged at republicans about. The Wall? Biden continued building it. Covid, the thing that is still killing americans daily, the thing that killed a family member of mine and i didnt even get to say goodbye to her? The moment the Democratic Party won, despite crying that they believed is science they left us all out to dry! The Democratic Party had how many years to secure Roe v Wade since it's inception before Trump packed the court? fucking 50 years to pass the basest federal protections??? and now Lgbtq+ rights! How many years have we tried to pass the Equality Act?

And now. We gleefully watch the Democratic party fund the Palestinian Genocide. We watch our President repeat racist propaganda and the democratic party follow, to fund their bottom line. Look. I will not get on someones ass for voting for Biden, I understand why someone would-- I was once a vote blue no matter who person myself and am on the fence on what to do if Biden does become the democratic frontrunner. hi anon so happy u asked this because it allows me to type a wall of text about a topic i love to talk about!!!!! ❣️ ddf is short for "die drei fragezeichen" which is the german version of the american kids book series "the three investigators", written by robert arthur! it follows three young detectives that are 13 at the beginning of the series and later get aged up to 17/18 so they can drive cars. the publishing history is hilarious so im gonna recount the whole thing to you

- only ten books were written by robert arthur himself, before he passed away in 1969

-the series was then continued by additional four authors who wrote an additional 37 books, at this point the characters were still 13, but a rivaling book series that also featured a group of kids aged their characters up, so of course the same had to happen to the investigators.

- the characters, now around 17 years old get lots of cool updates, like knowledge of hand to hand combat, drivers licenses, and a ton of new authors. this new series was called crimebusters and only ran from 1989 to 1990, but managed to produce 13 books, written by seven different people, six of them being new additions to roster. with this, the american career of the three investigators ends.

-germany meanwhile, picked up the books around 1979 and they get very popular (after a rough start and a cover redesign)! so germany does what germany loves to do and makes audiodramas out of them, writing scripts, hiring voice-actors, and recording them onto cassettes of course. the voice-actors are of course actual 13 year olds! (for now.) and wow does everybody go crazy for these casettes!!! people cant get enough of them!

-when the american production of ddf books ceases, the german population is very sad: soon they will run out of ddf scripts! but not to worry. after some legal disagreements, more books finally get written! in german now of course! and by FOURTEEN different authors! the first german ddf book gets released to the public in 1993.

-the three voice-actors at this point have become a household staple. almost everyone knows their voices. the kids that grew up listening to them are now having kids on their own who are of course also listening to them. (this mostly applys to western germany for obvious reasons). so in the early 2000s the voice-actors start doing livetours of their readings

-these livetours are a huge hit: sometime between then and now, they broke the world-record for biggest audience at a live audiodrama, somewhere in berlin. for some reason two of the voice-actors (one of them married. with kids) put in a segment that involves them singing romantic karaoke and then kissing on the stage, always met with thunderous applause. this little joke of theirs keeps going and their two characters become incredibly gay, which everyone refuses to acknowledge because "its a joke" (????).

-theyve had an enormous impact on german popculture to the point where theres been ddf toasters, ddf tents, ddf shoelaces, ddf anythings. ddf pizza. i myself own a ddf mug a ddf towel and a ddf pin, because i of course also grew up listening to the audiodramas, on cassettes that i got from my parents who listened to those same cassettes when they were kids. the books are still going (currently at volume um, around 230 i believe?) and the audiodramas are also steadily coming out. theyve got these german men that are all balding and over 50 voice some peppy 17 year old californians! lifes so funny

-i realize that by telling you this timeline ive told you very very little about the actual plot, but the plot isnt that important anyways... its three guys theyre detectives thats mostly it. the adventures are basically insane (one time one of them got shot into space? another time some crime boss who was genuinely kin with moriarty and was convinced their leader their 17 year old leader was his sherlock kidnapped them to have some sherlock v moriarty showdown with him. theyre in a permanent stand-off with the CIA because theyve got some info on them that they could easily leak to the press and thats the only reason they arent in federal prison: the CIA is scared to act lest they leak their info. anyways lots of normal things!)

-also i just want to reiterate that there have been 25 seperate people writing these books and that theres now 230 books out there and theyre still releasing more and that these voice-actors have been their characters for 40 years...thats just crazy to me

First off, we have the Caretaker™ Bo Yuan:

my mans is like in his 20's rn

wanted to open up a little day care as like side job/internship because he wanted to teach kids in the future so he was like “might as well start working with kids now!”

only regretted his life decisions when his devil number 1 and devil number 2 does something bad

other times he really enjoy looking after them! and he doesn’t even feel like it’s a job!

has been thinking about taking a field trip with all 10 of them but he’s afraid: 1) he might lose one 2) he might lose himself 3) can they behave themselves

his favorite thing to do is having all of them gather around while reading a fairytale to them for nap time

or sometimes he would sing a song

he has a lot of favorite things in day care, literally having all 10 of them just there makes him happy

likes to stretch and bend himself in odd positions

kinda an introvert but once he hangs around everyone for a bit he will open up to them and fit himself in very well

likes to organize and keep things how he found them/have special places where he organizes his toys

jiayuan: *moves liu yu’s fan*

liu yu: hey! put that back!!

has really good etiquettes and never really fights or argues or bicker with the other kids

but likes to joke around and mess around with once in a while

patrick: wahhh i put my cupcakes here who took one!

liu yu, hiding it behind his back: idk maybe keyu took it?

the least of bo yuan’s worries since he’s always in bo yuan’s sight, also he’s aware of his surroundings so he actually helps bo yuan make sure everything’s okay

(bo yuan: i made a checklist for myself on the whiteboard and liu yu likes to check things off for me, he said “coloring in the boxes is fun” so now he's the reason why i get all my work done)

really likes to dance, every time he hears music he would start grooving around

loves learning new things, which is probably the reason why he always asks bo yuan so many questions

also least one of bo yuan’s worries, just gotta make sure jiayuan and lin mo don’t pull pranks on him

(bo yuan: well they dont really pull prank pranks, its just once lin mo grabbed a frog and started running around and showing it to everyone, but lin mo lost grip and the frog jumped on santa)

best friends with santa! always sticks around him and likes to tug on a corner of his shirt out of habit

riki, sees his bed is not next to santa: bo yuan gege can you switch my bed next to santa? i wanna be next to santa

he didn’t start speaking till he was 4 so he often stutters when he talk and just looks confused a lot (it's because he’s thinking and formulating his words)

santa and the other kids would always have to interpret for him

bo yuan: riki I brought some snacks today do you want cookies or marshmallows?

riki: ???

santa, motioning with his hands: bo yuan gege said do you want the white fluffies or brown crunchies

usually it’s santa that approaches him first or keyu^^

found a ukulele in the toy bin one time and wouldn’t let go of it (he claims it’s his now)

his favorite activity at daycare is when they all sing together, that’s when he smiles the most and has the most fun

the one that likes to nap the most

also likes to help bo yuan cook once in a while (mostly just having mika washing vegetables and passing things to bo yuan)

very laid back and not noisy (till he starts playing the ukulele)

often gets scared by lin mo’s sudden screams (actually, lin mo scares a lot of people, sorry to mika’s ears)

also not one of bo yuan’s worries, literally there’s nothing to worry about with mika, all the kids just likes to sit around mika and pet his head so he keeps everyone safe

(bo yuan: one time I couldn’t find any of the kids in the play room, apparently they were all in the napping corner petting mika’s head since he just got a hair cut)

also sometimes they are just accidents, but he's always doing weird questionable things with lin mo

got really sad one time because he brought tadpoles and put them in the fish tank and killed them since the fish went nom

but then started to constantly catch for tadpoles to feed the fishes

bo yuan: jiayuan stop, you’re killing the frog population!

jiayuan: but the fishies are hungry *pouts*

likes to fight/mess around with keyu for no reason

number 1 on bo yuan’s worry list, this child is literally not safe alone or with anyone. they were trying to celebrate keyu’s birthday and jiayuan tried to touch the candles, while it was lit, by the flame.

(bo yuan: i just got the tablets and haven’t set up children mode, so i’ll take the blame for this one. but also why are kids so good with technologies nowadays??)

it cant be just me who finds it super weird how most humans go through life without thinking that one day non of what theyve done will matter anymore.

imagine theres the last few people known to be alive on earth, sitting together around a bonfire. the human wars that came before have destroyed almost everything but among mountains of trash they find an ancieny record player with a casette by depeche mode in it. they listen to it. they dont know who these people singing are but it makes them happy. nothing else of the time we currently see as our past will have mattered besides this obscure casette that managed to remain on earth, while nothing else survived. through it, depeche mode is still alive in the memory of someone. anything else that was around during the time of depeche mode wont have mattered because there wont be anything to prove its existence and its worth.

this record player represents all of us who are alive and breathing at the moment. but this casette is the thing that truly matters. this casette represents the people that have done something great enough to be remembered by the masses. that niche percentage of humanity who was memorable enough to be relevant so much more time later will be given on to further generations as tales and memories of the times that are now gone. the rest of us wont matter.

as an example: why is it that when people talk about pop music of the last century, the focus is mostly on american/british music? why not romanian pop? japanese pop? any other pop? of course. because it was understandable enough for as many people as possible enjoy it. then those people pass it on to others, then others, then others etc.

you get the point.

to me it is insane how some people think we truly have a purpose in life. my dad tells me "well of course you have a purpose. it is to be remembered and live on through peoples memories"

but if that was everyones goal and purpose and everyone achieved that, wouldnt we remember every single person ever that is no longer around? wouldnt we -societys middle johns- know of every single person that has lived in the past centuries? though we dont. hell, i dont even have any memory of my grandfathers who have both died before i was born. if everyones purpose was to be remembered, then surely i wouldve known what they were like without ever having met them, right?

think of it like this: once we die, we will slowly fade from the memories of people around us. first aquaintances will forget about who exactly we were, then slowly our friends and eventually our children.

in conclusion: nothing matters. screw everything. do whatever the fuck you want. lets say you have a problem procastinating. will you really start doing it after just one more v-sauce youtube video or do you just not want to do it? if you dont want to do it, then dont do it. it wont matter in 50 years. it wont matter in 5 years, fuck even after 5 days it might be irrelevant. live your life the way you want to. time you have "wasted" doing something you enjoy and love isnt wasted. it is time well spent. it is time having fun in this miserable world full of absolute bullshit, horrible people, violence and destruiction.

I'm dating again.

Which brings a very weird feeling to it, admiting this anonymously to people who follow me for doing a Masculine style thing on a blog. Speaking of I appreciate all of you for being interested in what amounts to one person's thoughts on being a man in the 21st century.

It might be palpable that I'm in an emotionally vulnerable headspace as I write this. Which, yeah, breakup, taking some time to myself to recalibrate, back to dating after over a year in a committed thing; it's emotionally heavy.

A bias to near prejudice, or at least strong dislike approaching disgust of mine is this; I do not like weakness in men. This is a feeling, & the idea of weakness is a felt thing, it's not born of an extensive philosophy, as most of what I think & feel tends to emerge from. This is visceral, the philosophy that it has is post hoc. I'm not sure, then, if this is the truest of beliefs I have, or the most distorted.

Weakness is not emotionality. This is a profound truth for me. As, the men I most respect, I have seen almost to a man, cry & bring forth tears to their eyes over depth of feeling, either of joy, of sorrow, or of compassion. I consider an absence of emotion a form of cowardice. Perhaps the central nature of it. As by my introspection, fear of emotion is what represses all the other emotions. Rolling off of this, I respect people who Know Fear. Being scared is an honorable place to be, if the emotion is appropriate. Cowardice isn't the act of being afraid, but of being only afraid. Having nothing meaningful within you to temper your fear.

I bring this up, because I want to talk about what the social process of dating does to men.

When on a dating app, nearly every guy is a player. Those that aren't are either very confused & naive, or are working something very specific. Player to me isn't a skill or approach, but an innate psychological state, let's call it Player Mode. There is also a psychological state which we can call Commitment Mode.

Spread your seed, or tend it, so to speak.

There is all sorts of powerful brain chemistry involved & the psychological states are deeply embedded in our psyche.

There are two very distinct ways to be a player, however. A Manipulator or a Lover. Possibly a third, I'll call a Sniper.

Before we get deep into that, let's walk through what happens when when you use a dating app, although playing the field at a bar or in the wild works somewhat the same, psychologically.

You start by swiping, liking & messaging girls. Some reply back. Let's say you come across a profile & immediately start crushing on the girl. You get nervous, so your message is shit, she doesn't reply. That's brutal if you think it through, breaking a crush hurts. You have to like/message about say, 50 girls to get a date. Breaking 50 crushes isn't a viable emotional strategy to get to step one of a relationship.

*Thus the emotional train is off the tracks, & for a deep relationship to happen the feeling must be rekindled, after you start to get to know the girl. >She needs to talk you into crushing on her.*

*This* is the central problem of dating. Because of the social process we have currently, men aren't chasing crushes, & so aren't entering a first date in the headspace that builds to true commitment.

The Manipulator is afraid of commitment, & of his own emotions controlling him, so he tells himself that the number of women he can lie to & talk into sleeping with him is the measure of his Masculinity. This is hard to argue with, man to man. The moral analysis isn't worth much. But the analysis that recognizes him & outs him as a coward, that has a better chance of productive impact.

The Lover can be powerfully passionate because his emotions are brought to the fore & made active as he goes into a relationship, as he wants to feel the love, but to balance himself, he lives in the moment. Generally, he doesn't lie or promise commitment. Regardless of the intensity of his feelings, he is still very embedded in the headspace of Player Mode. Since is isn't repressing or managing himself, after a time in a relationship, that player mode returns to the forefront as the honeymoon period ends & he finds himself drawn to a new & exciting Lover.

The Sniper can be of either type as default, but he is also looking for "the one." So he's judging women very directly between what he wants to lay short term, & who might be worth more effort & is worthy of commitment. I think I'd accurately describe myself as a Lover-Sniper.

I tried to not emotionality weight these, or apply judgement to the ideas. I simply want to be concise & analytical so there is clear understanding.

A pure Sniper is rare. The emotional insecurity of not having some form of a relationship is a powerful form of anxiety. There are plenty of guys who are "snipers" because they can't get a relationship. So they are mentally in commitment mode. This is, I think, the source of porn addiction & or simping. I know of guys who are on a high level & who had the self control to turn down offers of sex & relationships until they found someone they considered worthy. I wanted to be this, intuitively as a teen, but gave up the fantasy that I could win the girl of my dreams without having the confidence that comes from experience in realationships & in bed. This can get to a very disturbed & obsessive mindset. Stalkers are pure snipers. But there are other kinds.

My advice to someone in that kinda spot, to my past self. It's easy to get good at sex, it's easy to get good at being in a relationship with someone who sees the potential within you. Figuring out how to get girls to the point of willing & then to turn down those girls is useful. If purity of purpose & being is important to you, don't take the first girl who throws herself at you. The regret bites for a long time. But if porn takes you to a place where you aren't getting out & talking to girls, tossing the v card is easily worth it to get your headspace fixed.

There isn't a psychological dynamic that is in itself correctly healthy for men regarding approach sexuality, at least in the current dating environment. Chasing Crushes isn't scalable, & that is the root problem.

There's a type of girl who is only looking for "A Long Term Relationship Only." She isn't however, inticing. She doesn't know how to be wanted & desirable. She doesn't offer anything that brings out the crush which a man will need to be in in order to shift into a healthy commitment mode with her. I'm not certain what happens there, but I have to imagine everyone involved feels they are settling, & will hurt for the entirety of the relationship.

I'm writing this up as I'm trying to really think through how to solve the dating situation so that it works for more people. So relationships are successful & men & women are happy in them. It's not the most elegant or beautiful or composed thought I've had or published here, but this is deeply important to me.

Love shouldn't suck. We need to collectively figure out how to Make Love Lovely Again.

So, I have an idea I want to pitch, which has been difficult to get across to people I've talked to about this, such that the idea made sense to them. But I really think I'm close to right on this.

Women need game. Men have game. Fuck hookup PUA's but the actual technique tools of how to appeal to women are spectacularly useful. Women need to figure out how to appeal to men, not as sexual objects, but as potential relationships. Game for men is about getting laid. Game for women should be about getting men to fall for them & only them.

There's an ancient form of girlgame passed down generations mother to daughter. Just as there was an ancient form of guygame passed down from men to boys. We need to rekindle the dance between the Masculine & feminine in the realm of sexual relationship, dating & play. This fight thing we're all doing sucks.

Like most guys I want to find someone good enough to catch my heart, but I don't want to pretend for lifetime I've found the one when I haven't.

The love of men that isnt born of a crush is slow. The path of a crush is easy to explain, but deep love is a slow thing. I've seen love at first sight, or at least very close to it. But it's from a level of deep being that's so rarely reached mutually by two people who meet such that such a lightning connection can form. But I've also seen a relationship start from a small kernel & grow into a forest.

I firmly believe there's a lot of possible paths to True Love, I've seen several myself, but normative paths of how we find each other as sexual humans make us start in places within ourselves that make reaching True Love impossible, at least without a deep course correction at some latter point.

Those of us looking for that Sacred kind of love in fairy tales, that which we burn for, need to figure out how to survive with outselves long enough to find each other & get there together. Maybe this means breaking the rules of what we thing is "proper" dating.

Honestly, whatever we do, we need to figure this bitch out & work together to get back there. I'm tired of the men VS women game, tired of the fight being the normal way of things.
