Genesis's Verses;;
These are all still major wips and most are developed purely by myself therefore they're not as fleshed out as I'd like them to be. These are simply brief rundowns to make interactions a bit easier if the default verse isn't the one that's wanted/focused on. Extra verses and further elaborations will be added as I get more familiar and lean more into my portrayal of Genesis.
Tumblr media
verse;; the fate of a monster
( post ffvii / somewhere around advent children )
Resolving himself to somewhat of a nomadic role, Genesis has unsealed himself from his own confinement in an attempt to hunt down the remnants of his clones that managed to escape ShinRa's extermination attempts; It's an effort to right his wrongs of the past. This version of Genesis is still as dramatic and flamboyant as the one of Crisis Core however he's also got that golden heart he once had as a starry eyed teenager; On top of that, this version of Genesis is a lot more sentimental, willing to speak more openly on his feelings in a way that's not nearly as demeaning or patronizing.
…More info tba…
verse;; hero of the dawn
( non canon compliant Crisis Core/possibly FF:VII/Remake)
Rather than jumping ship and becoming a deserter of ShinRa after the beginning of his degradation kicks in, Genesis instead continues onwards in his attempts at making a much bigger name for himself; Despite being weakened by the degradation, he's still as loud, obnoxious, and boisterous as always. He makes a greater effort to support lower ranking SOLDIERS even if he comes off as judgemental and is more than willing to take those he deems as having great potential under his wing. Genesis is still attempting to work with Hollander to halt the degradation however he's come to accept that his time isn't nearly as long as he'd like for it to be, leaving him jaded and bitter at times.
…More info tba…
verse;; the worlds end
(Post Dirge of Cerberus)
Having woken from his self induced slumber after the defeat of Omega and death of Weiss, Genesis is back to roaming Gaia in search of those who might need his help, a begrudging and honor bound hero of sorts; Scarring taints the right side of his face, the edges of his shoulders and shoulder blades, as well as his abdomen. Despite the Goddess curing his degradation, it had not been kind upon his body. Additionally, the scars upon his chest are far too clean and precise to be from the degradation, something he'd unfortunately gained or rather lost during his time within the labs of Deepground. Genesis is far less trusting of those around him, especially those who approach him with little regard to his personal space or his privacy in part due to his experiences also within Deepground. He will approach those he deems worth his trust should he seek company however remains quite skittish and very cautious.
Genesis is far less flamboyant and boisterous, having seen far too much within the labs beneath ShinRa that very few even knew about and being tossed away like a broken doll upon having his cells forcefully taken from him had in turn left him tentative to feel comfortable in one spot. He's far more gaunt and exhausted looking in appearance, not quite thin but certainly not as well taken care of as he'd been during his days in SOLDIER in part from a lack of a proper diet to sustain his enhanced body and the forced acceleration of his healing capabilities. Comments regarding his physical appearance outside of the icy green hue of his eyes or the new length of his hair often will result in a shut down, Genesis being far from above stone walling someone should they offend him as a means of some sort of defense mechanism.

❤ // EYE EMOJIS @ EVE...            @igniflame
I would kill for you. • I would make love to you. • I would fuck you. • I would protect you. • I would hurt you for a selfish cause. • I wish we had more in common. • I want nothing to do with you. • I want to see you cry. • I want a future with you. • I want to destroy your future. • I do not care what you do. • I am indifferent towards you. • I want children with you. • I love you ( platonically ) • I love you ( romantically ) • I love you like family. • You are my family. • I could fall in love with you. • I would lie for you. • I would fight by your side. • I will never let you go. • I would hold you while you cried. • I would hug you. • I want to kiss you. • I would stay by your bedside if you were ill. • I want to fall asleep with you in my arms. • I want to forget you. • I will never forget you. • I only want to make you proud. • I wish I could make you happy. • You deserve nothing. • I will never forgive you. • You confuse me.
italics - possibly/somewhat bold- absolutely
EXTRA: Roche, is an enigma in the way that, Eve cannot pinpoint an exact emotion to attach to their feelings on Roche. They are wild and gregarious, potentially arrogant but overall good company in Eve’s opinion. There have always been feelings and emotions that Eve has issues with identifying. Whether they be complex or simple, he tends to focus on instant satisfaction and that is something he and Roche share in common. Eve wants to be entertained constantly, and bores easily, and Roche delivers on that desire in spades. Eve finds him to be fun, albeit annoying at times but he believes the positives outweigh the negatives in this instance. But still, Eve is confused to some extent, not by him exactly but for the emotions he elicits. Eve isn’t fond of these feelings and strange physical reactions. Part of him definitely knows what they mean, but he’s in denial for his own sake. Rejection is hard, it isn’t an option. Eve get’s attached so easily and that isn’t healthy or helpful. He doesn’t care if it’s not healthy or helpful though, but he hasn’t acted on anything because he quite possibly hates the feelings and confusion associated. He doesn’t like being unsure, as Eve is the type of person to feel 100% about everything. Roche is great, Eve likes Roche a lot, Eve also wants him to go away so he can be sure of himself again. It’s complicated.

okay, but if Ravus and Luna were Sefikura's children and we kept to part of XVs story, that would mean that Cloud is part of the Oracle lineage (probably a bastard?) and makes me wonder under what circumstances he and Sephiroth met and how Silvia came to custody of the kids (also Ravus would probably be very attached to Cloud and maybe resent Sephiroth)
If Cloud’s a bastard of the bloodline then you can probably keep it pretty similar to how they meet in my default FFVII/FFXV crossover au - Sephiroth as a Niflheim general and Cloud joining the Niflheim army to make a name for himself/become a hero - they meet possibly through Zack, etc, etc.
As for how Silvia ended up with custody I feel like it probably started when Luna first displayed her powers. But then I’m not sure. Does Niflheim find out and try and use Luna as leverage to get Tenebrae under their control - sending both children to live there to hopefully endear them to the people? Do Sephiroth and Cloud (or even just Cloud) privately search Silvia out to help figure out Luna’s powers only to give her custody of both children to protect them from Niflheim? Both have really interesting possibilties but also change the story and even Cloud’s agency in it quite a bit.
Ravus would DESPITE Sephiroth. A traitor and possibly was involved in the sacking of Tenebrae.
I feel like he’d also be somewhat untrusting of Cloud as well. I mean Cloud did run away and hide (or possibly be captured and experimented on with no-one knowing depending on how you want to take that bit of the verse) instead of doing anything to stop the Empire. Anything to protect his children.

[Munday Meme from @agentharrisonofshield.]
------------
✍ :  Offer 3-5 tips on how to get other role players started on interacting with your muse.
Be enthusiastic. Or at least be keen and engage with messages etc when you’re able to.
Have read my rules, and preferably the ‘about’ for the verse or AU you’re interested in.
Having a plot idea isn’t essential (I suck at those sometimes too) but it does help!
✔ :  What drew you to the character you currently play? What types of characters are you generally drawn to?
Answered here.
▲ :  What sort of information do you like to see on someone’s role play page that helps you determine whether or not you would want to write with them?
An age statement - so I know if they’re an adult or a minor. A specific number is good, but not always safe for those who are underage, so ‘18+’ or ‘minor’ will do.
A rules page, for reasons outlined in my own rules page.
An about page for the muse.
For multis, a muse list (and hopefully about pages for each muse.
Some IC content, so I can see if our styles are likely to be compatible.
⌘ :  Where do you get some of your inspirations for plots/head canons? Offer an example, if possible.
Headcanons ... Sometimes Thera just announces them in my head, like ‘oh, by the way ...’ It can be really annoying. Or we’ll see a photo on here and she’ll just be like, ‘well, actually ...’ (The last one of those was a four-poster bed, and yes it was exactly the kind of HC you might expect.)
Plots ... Strangely enough I tend to get those from holes in the canon material, or extrapolating from pieces of the canon. For example, in Thera’s FFVII verse they have ‘Ancients’ who are basically what they sound like, and I just figured if you were searching for Ancients you might employ archaeologists - so in that verse that’s what she is, and it leads to plot ideas in that vein.

FFVII Verse // Lautrec | Embraced by Mako
Tw; drug-use / violence / yakuza-themes Heavily entwined with @stingslikeabee‘s Melissa
Lautrec WAS a SOLDIER for Shinra. He was a second-class, an inspired troop, a promising warrior. He was skilled in his sickle / dagger combo and thrived in combat situations. Until he became hooked on Mako.
In this verse, I see Mako as a drug-like substance, when given in moderate doses, it increases strength and gives a moderate high. Lautrec began injecting the stuff like it was medicine. Passionate about history and fictional legends of old, Lautrec’s favourite was that of the tale of Fina - the goddess of beauty and love. In his drug-induced states, he would ‘see’ the goddess and subsequently became obsessed with her and intent on finding her.
Quitting SOLDIER, he took his activity to the slums - specifically Wall Market and formed his own little gang. This gang are a Yakuza-esque style ensemble, they rough people up, commit crime and cause problems - all in the name of Fina. Between searching for his goddess and causing trouble, Lautrec gets high on Mako.
Eventually, he sees a woman - Melissa - and becomes convinced that SHE is the goddess. Drawn to her, Lautrec does EVERYTHING in his power to convince her that he belongs to her. Melissa, clocking on to his delusion but also his devotion, begins using him to fight against Don Corneo and his gang.

Verse updates.
Aftermath. [Main]
Four years after the end of the Sorceress War, Squall controls the mobile military giant that is Balamb Garden. ‘SeeD Commander Leonhart’ to most, he appears as cool and detached as the day he accepted his role. Not many are privy to the information that he still fights against indecipherable shadow and living nightmares. How? By ignoring them, naturally.
*Dissidia is an extension of this verse.
Apathy. [FFVIII AU]
When Squall’s pulled from the mess that is Time Compression, something isn’t quite the same. For a while, he ignores it – the soulless void inside – and resumes his role as Commander. Slowly, though, cracks start to show. One simple mission turns into an absolute massacre and he just – doesn’t care. He prefers the silence when the screaming stops. And if he slowly drags the newest impressionable Sorceress along the path with him from their willing connection… so what?
Wildcard. [FFVII]
With much of his younger years being a blurry mess, Squall spends most of his time roaming lands as ‘help for hire’ while seeking snippets of the who and why he exists. Endlessly drawn to where the Mako is most potent, it’s how he winds up reluctantly partnering up with the AVALANCHE rebel faction on a mission or two. He can’t complain – they have a vendetta against ShinRa that he happily uses to his advantage.
Daylight. [FFXV]
Years of serving at an elite military academy (and once guiding it through a victorious war), a fateful encounter in the beautiful city of Insomnia changes Squall’s directive. After successfully applying for the exclusive membership club of the Kingsglaive, he jumps in head-first and welcomes everything protecting the King wrings. Life is never uneventful.
What’s New Pussycat? [Cursed AU]
Due to a mistake made by his wayward parents, Squall’s cursed at a young age. Born as an ordinary, unmagical human, his body being forced to mimic that of a Shifter – the timing spontaneous without discrimination of time or place – is slowly wearing on him and, he fears, killing him. Learning what he can of curses and their creators, most of his free time when not working or living is spent traversing in search of someone who can nullify the hex.
Welcome to Griever’s. [Modern]
Twenty-five and five years free from his military service, Squall runs a vehicle maintenance workshop, ‘Griever’s.’ for all lightweight transport. Withdrawing further into himself after the catastrophic end of duty, being the only mechanic in town helps to keep him in business. Allegedly, an abrasive attitude and disinterested demeanour isn’t favourable in the business world. Tch, whatever.

audiatur et altera pars "let the other side be heard also" (aka free pass to dig up and expand any of your previous works :p)
A/N: Hm, I do love digging through my own old work, anon, like a narcissistic raccoon, so having a pass to do so and further write about it is pretty nice :P
I will be honest though, a lot of my time was trying to figure out which previous work I wanted to do or which best fit the prompt or which I've been wanting to do and needed the excuse to touch back on...
So I narrowed it down to nine. Which isn't particularly narrow, but considering the list I started off with... is pretty good? (Although, one of the nine could be considered technically three for an actual total of eleven? But... uh... yeah...)
At this point I'm typing out my thought process so as to help me eliminate/figure out which 'verse I want to use for this prompt. And also, in a very meta way, this kind of fills the prompt since it's like the other side of the curtain? Anyway, here's the honorable mentions:
9. Torifu POV of Ascendant : an outside (but still close enough to witness) POV of Danzo is in theory a cool idea. Because he can't have always been that megalomaniacal sadistic bastard, surely. But for Torifu, depending on how much he knows about his former teammate/friend's actions, how sad this would be? Not just in seeing all of his former teammates/friends turn into increasingly bitter people but also, if he tried to save any of those ill-fated Hokage candidates it would just be a series of failures. And that's mondo depressing. Plus, part of the... fun? challenge?... that was the original Ascendant was to do a... not necessarily unreliable narrator but a villain's POV and mitigating it with Torifu's POV would peel back a layer unnecessarily.
8. rockstar!Shikaara AU AU : here's the problem, because it wasn't a full fic (this 'verse originated way back in the ask box three sentence fic event) I don't have a proper tag for the rockstar!Shikaara AU. Best way to find it is probably through the Sabaku No Gaara tag, chrono, and then search for rockstar!Shikaara. It is not a great method. However the reason why it came to mind was because of the literal "hearing" part of the prompt and, well, muuuuusic. So then I thought, hey, what if it's an AU of this AU in which Shikako is the rockstar? However, I think we've established that the Nara twins actually aren't that musical and I have to admit that I do still love Shikaara, I haven't been in those feels for a while. And I'll be honest, that ficlet would've been mostly froth.
7. The Saga of Windy Strife: I'm just very fond of them. Unfortunately, it does need to be revamped. And also, I haven't actually FFVII, not even the remake! Something about Windy Strife is just... they're always against something. Which is... there's a difference between being a champion of something vs being a soldier fighting something and they've always been in the latter. And I guess in that same literal "hearing" part of the prompt, it would work well to address the language barrier of Unto The Climate. But again, I'm just not vibing it :(
6. Tamed (aka, the fairy tale!AU) : There's no real plot to this one which was largely the problem. I was thinking about--hey, what if I added a war in there and the team of misfit fairy tale protagonists have to use their unique talents to stop the war before it consumes the land? But then that was a little meh... while there is some misunderstandings about Sasuke hating magic because of his brother and Shikako having magic its largely. That's just drama and rehashing friendship that I'm not so keen on.
5. dragon rider!AU (another one of those “lost” ‘verses): baaasically for the same reason as above but the conflict already exists there. And like, I'll be honest, I did have a little bit written which I've let stagnate on my laptop for literally years and given the premise of it was Shikako showing up and trying to convince the Sand dragons to aid against probably Akatsuki. And literally about getting herself heard by Sand's government. But again! A little meh!
4. Indelible: I mostly wanted to play around in this world because of how hyper-political it's become. I mean, I made it so of course I'm enjoying the drama, but it's one of those things where it's just--hey, a tiny thing can be blown so out of proportion and have so many consequences but it's not out of anything evil or mean. If anything Danzo's bullshit machinations were made obsolete because of this. Which is a little hilarious. The only reason why this didn't win at being the prompt fill is that, kind of like the Torifu POV for Ascendant, this fic would have to be either a Gaara/Sand POV during the chuunin exams (which is so far removed from the original butterfly flapping its wings) or a Nej POV as the only person other than the Nara twins to be in on the secret. And I don't really write Neji well... or at all...
And now for the top three, in no particular order:
Cadmium City/Counterclockwise/Ode to 11010201: ie, my original fiction world. Mostly because, uh, yeah. There's a lot that's happening in that which the prompt could apply to. I was thinking about using the framework of Twelve Sessions since of my original fiction series I think this one is the best received. And, also, the literal "hearing" this also applies to this in multiple ways. But for the prompt this would mean its about Curtis learning about Simone's backstory which isn't as fascinating as a literal superhero going to therapy. Maybe more of an exploration of the other Could/Should/Actually 'verses? Alternatively, and this is a little weirder, I was going back over the Ode to 11010201 'verse and just like. Realizing all the personal shit I put into its foundation and thus how inherently biased it is. I was considering trying to write from R's sister's POV but its almost too personal? Because then I'd have to reexamine the IRL analogue of the situation and consider what pushed me there in the first place. And why, conversely, I haven't written that much in that 'verse since. Emotional Maturity is not here right now.
Iron Will: the only thing stopping me here, tbh, is that I still haven't figured out which iteration of Tetsuki is the one I'm going with. Is she actually the semi-feral, Earth Kingdom, would be Freedom Fighter? Or is that a cover that the Fire Nation heiress uses to manipulate and murder on Azula's behalf? I legitimately do not know.
Primadonna Girl (Says No Thank You): specifically, the dark future AU. It's such a bonkers AU that I don't think I'll ever really be able to justify playing around in it, truly, but dang. I went real bleak with it.
... so less of a fill and more of a fanfic equivalent of a clip show, I guess. Sorry, anon. If any of these struck your fancy, let me know and I'll try my hand at it. Otherwise, uh, feel free to send in a different prompt.

AU details 03. Final Fantasy VII
‘They say you’ve come wandering here from the grass plains. Miss, have you seen stars before?’ ‘Before I came here, I did.’ ‘Are they beautiful?’ ‘Magickal.’ The woman smiles, wistfully. She misses them. ‘My mother used to tell me a story, that stars are the eyes of the Cetra which will guide our path in life.’ ‘What’s a Cetra?’ ‘Hm –’ A pause; she only has a handful of tales from her mother, and none tell her what a Cetra is. It’s a question she’s asked herself many times, too. ‘I don’t know. It’s, ah, just a s-story. But, they sound very nice.’
Ciri is born in an unspecified location in Gaia, εγλ 1988. Her mother belongs to a nomadic people who began travelling when poverty and lack of resources forced them to begin a search for a new place to settle. They never found one, instead told stories of Cetra, who are some mythological, fey-like or even god-like creatures, which have disappeared but will one day return and be able to guide them to the ‘promised land’. To a place of abundance, a place of peace. The stories are primarily passed down orally, which leads to embellishments, altered versions, twists and tweaks which make the truth of what a Cetra truly is hard to trace. Not that it matters – these stories are, like any religion or cult, a means to keep hope alive in the hearts of people, to promise them a better life.
If these nomads do get a chance to settle down, it is always in the slums, in poverty-stricken areas, in old miner towns or the outskirts of settlements; because they’re not exactly wanted, not exactly welcome; they don’t come from here and don’t really belong. These wanderers are nothing but liars and thieves, that is common knowledge.
It is no surprise that Shinra caught wind of these tales, too. They soon discovered the tales were just that -- tales, and that none of these nomads had ever actually seen a Cetra. No luck there – but these poor, lost, unwelcome humans were perfect test subjects for their experiments. No-one would miss a handful of vagrants without a place to call home; without a strong leader or spokesperson to represent them. And in a community where truths are being passed from mouth-to-mouth, it’s easy to sprinkle in a few rumours: it’s the locals who have murdered, abducted, or sold their kin. This sparks resentment and distrust, and the nomads close themselves off to outsiders. No more shared stories, no more exchanging of customs and commerce. So too is Ciri’s mother eventually taken away as a test subject by Shinra, and the truth about her disappearance - and presumed death - is buried. Or so it seems.
Ciri grows up under the care of her uncle (Remo), a merchant of all kinds of wares - but mostly of all of tales. Ciri is always found in the audience. He tells her stories of her mother and her family, as well as his own, and Ciri assumes they travel so often because this is their habit, as well as for his work. She doesn’t know that Remo truly tries to uncover is the truth behind the disappearances and, mostly, what has happened to Ciri’s mother. He tries to keep this a secret from Ciri - though she catches some wind of it as she grows older. Remo seems to be somewhat involved with supplying AVALANCHE various kinds of items, but his ties with the group are rather shallow. Ciri’s father, Silvan, mostly keeps to his own and is a seemingly cowardly, meek, obedient man. He does, however, help Remo in his search from a distance and supplies him with wares from his store.
One day Remo too disappears, and Ciri is left to her own devices; she never cared much for Silvan, they have an awkward relationship at best. She ends up in the slums of Midgar where she offers to work as a guide, or if she has access, as a middle-man in transactions that come from her father’s shop. She’s blissfully unaware that some of them are less-than-honest business partners.
After the meteor impact, she mostly works as a scavenger + guide and will be looking for any survivors - friends who may have perished during the impact.
notes:
Bc she is Babey she very rarely travels out of Midgar alone ( and even in the slums its… hard ), in the past Remo was a fair match to any monsters they encountered but by herself it’s kind of – hard. Hence, her being a guide is really mutually beneficial: she gets to travel and the other person gets the safest / quickest route. She’s more of a hitchhiker in that sense, perhaps. nhgfdgs
Oh yes she has a VERY SHITTY motorcycle that breaks down every week at least once. No van in this verse, just a useless pizza delivery type of motorcycle.
she is a Weak-ass Binch. AS IN ANY VERSE nahdh. I do suppose in a ffvii setting you need some basic skill to fend off monsters, especially since she used to travel a lot, but she’d be more lucky than skilled in fights. She uses a stick. a rock. a scrap of metal. anything she can find on the ground to defend herself. Resourceful, that she is, at least.
Has no real strong opinion on either AVALANCHE or Shinra; though she’s aware that Shinra is deceptive and corrupt, and not at all as benevolent as they make themselves appear. She’s not inclined to do much about it, though ( this because she mostly believes she can’t ).
she may not believe herself very useful but she does have ties with distant family, friends; other nomads who settled down in various places and who she recognises as distant childhood friends. It’s more thanks to Remo that these ties were strengthened and maintained, but it means she has a bed to sleep in most places should she need it.
I imagine that, because she has been travelling a lot, Ciri knows her way around to remote places, knows the safest routes and is a valuable guide if you want to get somewhere as quickly and safely as possible.
The whole Cetra thing has absolutely no significance later on ( doesn’t give her Exclusive Knowledge or Powers or anything, it’s just a backstory meant to incorporate some roma elements into this verse ) save for that, if she were to ever interact with an aerith, and were to find out the truth about her, that she’d be very starry-eyed and enchanted by her but well, honestly, who isn’t mesmerised by aerith??
plot points:
finding out the truth about her parent(s); her mother in particular
a possibility is that her mother hasn’t died but has been discarded as a failure by Shinra and is one of the many monsters roaming in the slums ( open for discussion ); also probably hidden away somewhere i don’t imagine they ket their failed human experiments roam freely about najgfhdsg
Remo’s disappearance is equally ambiguous; I imagine that he ended up in an accident or it was a wrong-time-wrong-place kind of thing, not necessarily an intentional murder - this can also be discussed. CIri’s looking for Remo more than her mother because Remo still has a chance of being alive ( disappeared when she was 18 )
with her backstory I believe there’s enough material to get her involved with either AVALANCHE or Shinra or – anyone really. she can be approached on the account of Remo ( who was more active, social, likeable, and had a bit of a reputation ) for whichever reason - this mostly to set up a first interaction and the likes i imagine? to give ideas :’)

Son of Midgar //FFVII Verse
Regis was once the head of urban development at the Shinra Electric Power Company. He did his work to company standards without much care for the backlash recurved in certain areas for many years until one incident started to change how he looked at his job.
His pregnant wife Aulea had come to visit him at work, being escorted into the reactor where Regis was hard at work. He went to greet her, she slipped, and a bar on the railing came loose. The woman fell into the mako reactor while her panicked husband called for help to rescue her. The shock and the mako poisoning caused her to go into labor as they pulled her from the liquid in the reactor.
Their son Noctis was born nearly a month and a half early on the floor of Reactor One as a result and Aulea passed away. Her husband blamed company safety standards and made adjustments to try and stop such a thing from happening again. Meanwhile he was left to care for his infant son alone.
One day when Noctis was fifteen his father told him he planned to leave the company due to differences in opinion with his employer. It made the boy happy to know he’d spend more time with his father but after so many years he couldn’t see why things were just now causing problems. He had no idea Regis discovered evidence of secret experiments and other nefarious things related to President Shinra.
That night Regis didn’t come home, nor the following day. Noctis worried about his father until the third day a messenger from Shinra told him his father had been found in the slums, murdered. He was told there were many in the slums that hated the company and they killed him, took the money from his wallet, and left him in an alley. The teen stood in horrified silence as the messenger handed him his father’s wallet and wedding ring before walking away without a word. He was never allowed to see the body.
After searching his father’s things he found a note telling him to run should Regis ever go missing. In tears he packed a few sets of clothes, his father’s wallet and ring, and a photograph before leaving the house and never looking back.

crucial muse development questions. | Accepting
@the-mjolnir-owner asked a question:  2, 3 & 4
2. What was the best thing in your character’s life?: Not being alone. Finding a place in the world when she was taught and told she had none. A found family, is still a family and it’s really the only sort of family she’s ever known. This primarily fits into her MCU and FFVII verses. Both those verses, she has people she trusts, that she knows will be there even when she doesn’t deserve it or feels she doesn’t anyways. The best thing in her Star Wars verse is when she manages to escape and taste freedom of just existing without any purpose for a change, in that verse it’s the opposite as she finds solace in not having a place and being alone.
3. What was the worst thing in your character’s life?:
MCU: Well dying was not ideal, she wouldn’t recommend it even though there was no other way. There was still many things that have been left unsaid, unanswered and may never be. Coming back from the dead wasn’t really all that great either as she felt she had finally found that peace she had been searching for and now, well she’s a bit of mess. There is more further back too, seeming to lose everyone she loves, from the first boy she loved, to the daughter she didn’t get to hold, the man who trained her in the day and held her heart at night and the husband her own country took from her. Also the fact that save for a few people, everyone she cares about will be lost to her as well, either old age or illness will take them from her.
Also not being able to protect those she cares about, that’s a big thing in every verse.
FFVII: Monthly mako treatments are terrible, having to be down for about three days after is also not fun. Neither is that feeling she gets sometimes that there’s something she’s missing, but she isn’t sure what it is. Being unable to find her missing trainer and friend and then learning he was practically right under all their noses all along. Having to make difficult choices between continuing to live a lie or starting over again knowing the truth and what that truth entails.
Star Wars: Palpatine. Could just leave it at that, honestly, but again not being able to save the person she loved, watching him die to serve as an example to her, that she is a puppet held by very short strings that aren’t easily cut. The broken memories that haunt her mind, wondering if they’re true or something her Master has done to her head. How short freedom can truly be.
4. What seemingly insignificant memories stuck with your character?: Random little nuances and things she remembers about other people that really aren’t necessary for her to know, but she does. Anything from the color and scent of lip gloss a friend tends to wear to a complete stranger’s nervous tick that she notices from across a cafe. Things that are considered in a sense trivial for the most part, but could possibly be useful. It’s just the way her mind works, how it was trained to.

* romance headcanons.
Tumblr media
name:          Sephiroth Crescent
nickname:          multiple ones, usually given by his partners in various ways. he does not particularly care about what the ‘public’ calls him, so he will not react to anything they might want to bestow.
gender:           male. he/him.
romantic orientation:          demiromantic. Love or romantic affection is considerably hard for him, also because he does not place a significant value upon something that could hinder him in reaching his goal(s). even though Sephiroth would not go out and seek a partnership, he’s not averse towards it if feelings were to arise [ no matter what kind ].
preferred pet names:           same as with the question for the nicknames, he holds no particular consideration and his partners will find affectionate names for him in however way they see fit.
relationship status:           he is generally partnered in his verses.
favorite canon/fandom ship:          I don’t ship him with any canon character from FFVII
favorite crossover ship:           I love crossover ships and all the ships on this blog are indeed crossover based. Cecil being from FFIV, Mateus being from FFII, Mannimarco being from ESO, as the larger ships. The ‘smaller’ sideships [ they ain’t small--- ], with Thranduil from LOTR and Haurchefant and Estinien from FFXIV. - I love them all.
opinion on true love:          it’s a nice concept, but nothing he truly believes, no matter the timeline he shows up in. [ exceptions to be found in AUs ]. to times of Crisis Core, there is the everlasting thought in his mind that he is not worth of it. that it would just lead to nothing, that it would all just fade the moment he got too close and would be too invested. That was a lingering fear to that time, swiftly being surrendered as well once everything around him spiralled out of control so but, to that time, it was a nice concept, yet nothing he would think on longer than need be.
as for the time after his fall? ‘true love’ is something Sephiroth never thinks about in any way. affectionate behaviour in itself is a ‘distraction’, the feelings behind it something he does not dwell on for too long, frankly, he has no opinion on it anymore and brushes it aside swiftly [ that changes, obviously, should he enter a relationship and he does so freely, but without a possible partner? those are his thoughts ].
opinion on love at first sight:         he does not believe in it. being on the spectrum of ‘demi’ when it comes to all things considered romantic, he simply doesn’t care for it. it takes quite a long time for him to ‘fall for someone’, and even then, it will still take sometimes years for Sephiroth to reciprocate open words of ‘love’ [ like calling someone endearments ], so ‘love at first sight’ is something he finds rather silly, yet would not comment on it.
how ‘romantic’ are they?:           once in a relationship, he will do whatever there is to actually make his partner happy. He’s fulfilling a lot of things ‘naturally’, so it’s hard to say if he tries to be romantic or if he’s just doing specific things to ensure that the person he’s with is actually happy and content. To be honest, it’s a bit of both. Those general things like: cooking dinner, setting up a bath, buying and bringing home flowers, mostly before his partner is at home, are all things he does because he wants to make them happy. Going out for dinner or for dates is just something he perceives as a part of any healthy relationship [ shocking, I know ], you could say it is romantic, but he does that literally all the time just to see a smile. [ most ‘modern’ sounding things obviously rather apply to AUs ].
ideal physical traits:           honestly, he’s barely bothered. a clean appearance, clothing in order and nicely set, a good smell. Sephiroth’s not really superficial, albeit he does have a ‘type’ so to say, so I will leave that answer for below.
ideal personality traits:         he does like people with a clear self-esteem. That does not need to be brash or ‘out there’, but the form of self-esteem to get up against him as a person. To tell him when his actions are irrational or hurtful and to search the conversation with him and not shy away. Additionally, they stand up for themselves, speak their mind to those around and follow their own believes and dreams: he finds that rather attractive. Underlining danger is always interesting, the fact that his partner could push him down if they wanted to is something he personally will even encourage. That they could be ‘dangerous’ for him and also are teasing enough to make no secret out of it [ at least not around him ]. Testing and taunting, playing with what he wants and desires, being a little bit arrogant is also something he likes. And then: just acceptance, patience as he’s a very patient and compliant person when it comes to his lovers.
unattractive physical traits:           being dirty and unkempt. obvious smell that one hasn’t showered in quite some time. he’s not too picky, but if a person is generally sloppy or does not care about their own appearance, it will put him off immediately.
unattractive personality traits:         overly abrasive personalities. Those that think that all they do is the best ever, even though that their achievements are only granted with the help of others or over unjust means. He doesn’t particularly care when it’s people who do have the power and the means to be that arrogant about themselves, but otherwise - and if he’s getting too impatient with said behaviour - he will show them pretty quickly that their speech is for nought. Cowardice is something Sephiroth will not deal with. Just assuming he will do something out of the ‘good of his heart’ is ridiculous. Naivety. Rudeness gets merely an eyeroll from him, even ‘playful rudeness’ is barely permitted and won’t get anything out of him. Basically, don’t be an asshole.
Important is also someone who does not want to change him because he won’t. The very idea of: ‘oh, he just needs to be loved, then everything will be fine!’ will clearly turn him off and will end badly shall only an inkling of it arise.
ideal date:           it always depends where they are and what kind of timeline it is. in most cases, he would prefer to stay home with them, make dinner himself and just spoil his date in the means that they would enjoy. if they would like to go out somewhere, he would comply, being able to adjust in any means possible. as he would go out with his partner anyway from time to time, the term ‘date’ is artificial to him, given that this just relates to a normal part of a relationship for him. so, whatever the other person wanted, would be fine.
do they have a type?:         he does. long, light coloured hair [ at least to the shoulders, but also longer than that ], light coloured eyes. a strong physical built [ he very much enjoys muscles and a strong back ]. fair, or even features. a finely cut jaw. he doesn’t particularly care about physical height [ given that a few of his partners are shorter than him, others are taller ] but a natural elegance when a person walks and high self-esteem and knowledge about self-worth are important to him.
average relationship length:         His ships usually tend to have a very long relationship length, spanning years, in cases even hundreds of years [ due to the immortality of his partners and himself ]. as he holds no interest in anybody once Sephiroth is together with someone, there is nought that would disturb it.
preferred non-sexual intimacy:         just enjoying time together. Lazing around on the bed or sofa and reading together, or reading for one another. Cooking or just going out for a walk, simple pleasures, really.
commitment level:           he’s utterly committed. completely and nothing will make him even consider looking at someone else, what explains the relationship length to be of a nearly unattainable level. it not only extends to ‘romantic’ ships, but even ‘ships’ that have a deeper emotional impact on him or if he’s ‘engaging with someone’, he would not want anybody else and there is nothing to sway him from said person.
opinion of public affection:         he doesn’t mind, nor does he truly hesitate to do so as well. kissing in public, holding hands, just holding his partner, initiated by Sephiroth or his partner, he won’t push them away nor does he even comment on them seeking this sort of affection, it’s just a given. he literally couldn’t care less about anybody around should any of this be wanted and sought out. remarks against it are pretty much shot down, returned rather sarcastically or merely ignored. there is also to note that with people he is ‘close’ to, he would accept notes of affection that are considered romantic by many, and associate them with platonic, but do not try it out if he gives no permission. it will end badly.
past relationships?:           as he had no actual relationships before his ships on this blog? there is nothing to comment about.

CONTINUED FROM HERE   @reuinlies
Tumblr media
HIS GRIP WAS ASTOUNDING. Muscular arms had fully wrapped around the man’s waist, hoisting him up off the ground. People were always so gloomy! It made Eve gloomy and Eve didn’t want to be gloomy. Brother rarely paid him any mind and he was perhaps the gloomiest out of anyone he knows. Serious, stoic, maybe not exactly gloomy but Adam seems to give everyone bad vibes. They were wrong about him, of course! Adam hated hugs though but Eve was sure they made things better. He began to shift his grasp on Leslie and was now holding him out in front of him, like one would do to a child. Eve looked him up and down as he dangled there.  “ I  don’t  mind  if  it  gets  ugly  but  i’ll  put  you  down.  ”   And with that he placed Leslie gingerly back on his feet. Eve grinned jubilantly.   “ Ha!  Feel  better  now?  ”

All Hail the Outlaws (Dragon Ball Z AU)
Note: This information is subject to change, will notify when updates are made. All information can be found under the “keep reading” link below.
Also, if you need to see her main verse’s information for reference, it can be found here
If you prefer a crossover with her main FFVII Cetra verse instead, or want to try this DBZ verse, please let me know.
Hailing from the planet Shihab (Arabic for “Shooting Star”) Eden was a Kirinite serving as a guard and hunter for her clan: the Draconids.
Why the Names?
The kirinite name is based off a mythical creature with the similar, the kirin, as many of their physical characteristics (description below) resemble the creature. Clan names are come from that of the meteor showers: Draconids, Perseids, Leonids, and Ursids. A kirinite’s membership of their clan can be determined by the color of their scales (described below). The planet bears an Arabic name, as a large part of Eden’s inspiration comes from the Middle East and Northern Africa and its meaning, “Shooting Star” refers to the Kirinites’ celestial nature.
 Description:
Kirinites have a humanoid appearance, with several physical traits resembling that of a sable antelope. All members possess cloven hooves for feet, often with feathering on the back of them, with the short bristly fur covering the tops of these hooves and melding into the skin at mid-calf.
They also bear long, ridged horns that gracefully sweep back from the head; large deer-like ears; claws; heavy, thick, fang-like teeth with large prominent canines (elder, higher-ranked Kirinites will have even larger canines that slide over the lip); long lion-like tails; mohawk-like hairstyles (mohawks are usually more prominent on males); and small, light-colored speckles scattered over their skin and scales.
Kirinites also have scales present on the fronts of their hooves and lower leg, hips, base of their tail, the tops of their hands and up their forearms, and up their back. The scales on their backs are thickened and are believed to help protect their spines during hunts and battles. These scales are often dark in color, yet have small glistening speckles, similar to stars.
Tumblr media
With Eden’s Draconid Clan, the scales are similar to those of the sunset (coming from the preferred time to view the Draconid meteor shower). Her scales are a gradient of a dark, muted reddish-purple fading into rosy gold at the bottom of the scales, with the silvery speckles being most prominent in the darkest colors. Her scales are in the common places, listed above.
Her skin is still a very dark tan, but has a subtle rosy tint to it. Silvery cream speckles are visible all over her skin, with them being most prominent on her shoulders, upper arms, shoulder blades, thighs, and down her sides and hips along the dorsal scales, and down her tail. These speckles are also prominent in her hair and through the tassel at the end of her tail.
Her long, thick hairstyle is much like her main verse’s (described in the main verse page) with the exception of having a duskier, reddish tinge, with a small fauxhawk extending from behind her long bangs, down to the base of her neck. Four braids still reach down to her hips (along with her hair length), with each braid usually being held together by a golden band; the exception to this is during her draft in Frieza’s army, where the gold was forcibly removed due to the risk of being exposed via metallic glint.
Her main verse’s piercings were also once visible until they were torn from her during the invasion of Shihab. Her bottom lip has two tears were her lip rings once were, and her ears are tattered from the loss of her studs and rings.
The fur covering her ankles, ears, and tail are a dark rosy-brown; purpleish black markings rim the edges of her ears and around the hooves. Purplish-black markings are also common within the Draconid Clan, and Eden bares these markings around her eyes and down her cheeks (similar to her tattoos in the main verse).Like all Kirinites, Eden also has horizonal, rectangular pupils; her irises are still a deep amber.
  Abilities:
Kirinites are known for their agility, speed, and intelligence. Much of their strength comes from their lower body, and are capable of cracking bone (of those who lack intensive training) with their rock-hard hooves.
Their senses are incredibly sharp, heightened by their connection to their planet. This is strongly linked to their ability to hear the voices of souls passed and can help them detect the aura of living creatures (unless those targeted are trained to hide their energy level). Though they lack the ability to fire ki directly from their bodies, they can harvest crystals from the earth and use their energy and rituals to inflict damage and potentially status-related problems (such as sleep, pacifying, copying an enemy’s skill).
Eden is no exception and possess these standard abilities. However, the blessing of hearing ghosts becomes a curse the day she forsakes her faith in them. If she were to return to Shihab, they would become distorted, distressing wails. Though she may be a great distance away from them, they still tug deep in her mind like a silent, persistent haunting.
When she lands on other planets, this ability becomes even more unnerving as she cannot understand the souls tangled whispers. This only strengthens her fear and hatred towards hearing them, and is further convinced that the stars of her home have cursed her. She is at risk of losing focus, becoming entranced, or reacting wildly midst the most severe hallucination phase. All these can make battle extremely dangerous for the lost Kirinite. Eden was once able to create sleep-causing crystals, but after her corruption, they are filled with negative energy and can inflict pain, or blinding fury, on anyone within its proximity (including herself), rather than just the opponent.
Kirinites can also call upon an ability of the Celestial Beast. This creature is believed to be the totem of all born of Kirinite blood. This ability is similar to that of Yamcha’s Wolf Fang Fist, except the aura takes form of a large, maned antelope-like creature as the fighter charges. This empowers their melee strikes, as well as have a chance of burning the opponent with their energy. This power, however, is very risky as it drains much of the user’s energy reserves and can leave them vulnerable if they are not able to dispose of the foe before time runs out. Another limitation is the need to use crystals taken from Shihab’s meteorites to channel their energy and awaken their totem. This is why Eden keeps a crystal shard tied around her neck and often hidden beneath her armor (or shirt once she escapes Frieza’s army).
(Super brief!) Culture aspect and story:
Similar to the Cetra in Eden’s main FFVII verse, Kirinites feel connected to their planet and believe they can commune with the spirits. They place great reverence to the stars, viewing them as creators of their world and embodiments of all souls that were born upon it. With the use of crystals, Kirinites connect with the ghosts that whisper guidance to them and unlock their powers. The ancient belief was cast into doubt, however, as the Kirinites saw invading ships scream past the stars and collide into their home.
It was that night, as metal and murderous intent fell from the skies instead of rock and fire, that the spirits, stars, and earth fell silent.
The invaders claimed the planet in the name of Frieza and began slaughtering most of the inhabitants. The terrified Draconids came to the conclusion that the stars have betrayed them, and they could no longer trust the spirits’ words. They plotted their escape, only to be caught and killed as they attempted to steal the invaders’ space pods.
Being only a hunter and guard, Eden swallowed her pride and submitted. She spoke velvet words, despite her trembling voice, playing up her strength and skills honed by years of surviving within the badlands and fighting the monstrous beasts of the land.  It was by the sheer grace of whatever deity was left to care that they conceded to let her live, only on the condition that she devotes her life to servitude.
The worst was yet to come, as training within the Planet Trade Organization held no mercy for a mere foot soldier. Though bones were broken and tears spilled, the Kirinite held onto her lust for vengeance. She vowed to tear the entrails of these monsters and their tyrannical ruler, just as they have done to her people, to her family. She vowed to show the celestial guardians, who left her kind to die, that she would overcome their betrayal and inflict the same suffering upon them. So she waited, she watched, learning who were integral to this force, and their weaknesses…
There can be two alternate routes for this.
The first one is she discovers another who isn’t too keen on how things are being run. Whether they also hold anger and a desire for power, or are genuinely hurt and want freedom, she will look to gain their trust. The motive being to gain an ally, and gain intellect through them, or even conspire with them to escape, or dare she say, attempt to overthrow.
The other way to go about this (for those who aren’t part of Frieza’s forces), is she does manage to escape and searches for potential allies for her cause. This can lead her to earth, or to any planet the character (canon or OC) lives. This route is more open-ended and can lead to any other possible plotline.

Lautrec | FFVII Verse
Tw; Drugs | Manipulation | Sexuality | Obsession | Needles
I wanted to rewrite this post individually for Lautrec and fully fleshed because me and Mari have been speaking and she’s inspired me to really flesh his verse. So, I’m tagging @stingslikeabee in this because her character is pivotal to his FFVII Verse.
SO,
Lautrec WAS a SOLDIER for Shinra.
