Columbo and the Knight (1984)

put me in the universe where Columbo ran through the 1980s and had a crossover episode with Knight Rider. I think they deserved it, and I am not just saying that because they're my two favorite Old Shows. @telebeast wrote a little fanfic blurb about it and I HAD to visualize it into a comic (which is also the longest comic I have finished thus far at five pages...), so writing credit goes to them.

So. I love this. The way Yuri snickers at Flynn showing his real self. The way he, without hesitation, says "yeah" to the idea that he would die in Flynn's place.

But the most important part of this entire thing, which was changed in the dub, is how Yuri specifically jokes that Flynn is trying to abandon him, and Flynn returns and tells Don he had no intention of abandoning Yuri.

Yuri does not hear this. Flynn knows that. But Flynn uses the exact same term Yuri used earlier, as if it's his answer to Yuri and saying no, I would never abandon you.

For reference:

Personally I just... love the weight of it. How Flynn will say something about Yuri that Yuri won't hear, but he still speaks it out into existence because it's how he really feels.

Just because Yuri won't hear it doesn't mean he won't say it, and in a way that's even more powerful. He's not looking for the credit of saying it. He's not looking to be recognized for saying it. He's not only expressing how he feels about Yuri somewhere that Yuri himself will hear him.

They're just his real, honest feelings, and he'll admit them even if Yuri's not within earshot.

ngl, jinx kidnapping cait out of her shower has got to be one of the most psychologically terrifying and disgusting things i’ve seen in arcane.

kidnapping someone from the comfort their home is already bad enough. kidnapping from the comfort of their room is even worse enough. kidnapping someone from their fucking shower while they’re still naked?? ENTERING their shower?? not even having the decency to let them LEAVE the shower and enter their own room first??

this is genuinely one of the worst things jinx has ever done imo, nvm the mass-murder of all those enforcers (bc i mean… who RLY cares that much lmao) bc of just how predatory and evasive it is. never mind a breech of privacy, this is even more extreme than that.

someone attacking you when you’re THAT vulnerable, both literally/physically and emotionally (cait was LITERALLY just thinking abt vi, being very vulnerable w herself and her emotions and was probably going to try and find her again somehow) and being COMPLETELY dehumanized is beyond scarring and terrifying, it’s honestly absolutely unforgivable as far as i’m concerned 😭

I secretly hope B127 gets his throat ripped out in the movie cuz I just think making Bumblebee silent in such a brutal (but kinda sick/cool) way is just neat for his character... but alas they likely paid a lot for the VA to be there ahhshsjdjd

i wish transfem headcanons were as common and respected as transmasc ones, not just in slenderverse but in fandom as a whole. the only time i see transfem headcanons is when people say someone could be either (which is true, but when there's such a lack of one, it can be frustrating), or it's put on maybe One girl character, which i've noticed most people don't really care about to begin with, and is its own problem. at the same time, i don't think i'm really smart enough to delve about the complexities of the entire issue, and even if i did the last thing i like to do online is start any kind of skirmish or conflict

like i completely understand maybe people don't want to change a character's personality or appearance, but i also need more people to consider why they feel like a character being a girl would change anything about them in the first place
