sometimes i think about a world where the writers followed up on the thread of the diazes healing from their generational trauma together and gave us a scene in the season 7 finale where the diaz parents actually tried to listen to their son. sometimes i think about an alternate universe where they actually — for once — understood eddie's perspective and did something to help their son instead of once again dismissing eddie's love for shannon and the grief he's suffered from ever since she died. sometimes i think about a better world than the the world we live in where the writers decided to regress them back to their pre-canon selves just so that they could carry out this weird convoluted storyline that served no purpose other than to trap eddie in his worst nightmare. whatever. it's fine. i'm fine

I can't be the only one who thinks it's so lame that spite ultimately had 0 effect on lucanis whereas the writers made anders suffer for just wanting to live.

#zuko #my art can be so ugly while it's in WIP stage #sigh but #I REALLY like the negative space shapes here #forgot to circle the one under the left arm as well #I was trying to reference some parts of an animation frame but #I don't like how the right arm is overlapping the torso so I might change it #also I HAD NO IDEA that only his top armour piece is more reddish than the rest of the armour #disregarding the rims of the armour #also what I thought were guards for the top parts of the hands are actually the extensions of sleeves #man whaaaat #also I haven't figured out yet how the lower part of the armour attaches and does the tunic go over it or is it connected to it #my art
