mans is a tad bit possessive of you (in the healthy way ofc, baes), which is something you already knew early on in the relationship. but it wasn’t your fault you were so sleepy to not notice the difference on which shoulders was your boyfriend’s. in the end, you ended up laying your head on soobin’s stiff shoulder, him already giving nervous side glances to yeonjun’s hooded gaze. he nearly jumped out of his seat from the eldest’s unrelenting stare.

safe to say yeonjun’s hand is draped on your thigh the whole time, only budging when he notices the immense stiffness in soobin’s poor shoulders. yeonjun takes it upon himself to carefully transfer your position from soobin to his. the smirk he tries to hold back becomes even more difficult to suppress once you snuggle into his firm chest, searching for his familiar warmth with an incoherent murmur. 

his hand would reach up to stroke your hair, his lips naturally curled to a pouty smile, “did you sleep well, baby?”

the first thing he’d do when you open your eyes is to either tuck a piece of your hair behind your ear if it’s long enough or to childishly boop your nose, finding you absolutely adorable.

𝗖𝗛𝗢𝗜 𝗦𝗢𝗢𝗕𝗜𝗡

with soobin, i feel as though he would be fine with it. he trusts his members with you, and vice versa. there would be a twinge of jealousy slowly brewing inside him, but it’s barely even there when he notices your peaceful form slumped over beomgyu. the whole ride would be filled with beomgyu teasing soobin, as expected from choi beomgyu himself. the trickster pulls out his phone and opens the group chat immediately, texting soobin how he’s missing out on being your personal headrest.

let’s just say soobin is not impressed in the duration of the whole ride. i can imagine he’d be sporting a slight pout on his face, dimples making an appearance. his arms are crossed and eyes staring holes at beomgyu’s head. the others take this moment to take snapshots of his mini sulking session, all sending it to you when you wake up later on (all which you save in an album dedicated to soobin <3). 

trust that soobin won’t let you go once you all reach your destination, his massive hands cupping your cheeks to gently wake you up from your nap. 

“you can rest on my shoulder on the way back, angel.” he says, sending the other choi a nasty look as he does so, fingers intertwined with yours.

𝗖𝗛𝗢𝗜 𝗕𝗘𝗢𝗠𝗚𝗬𝗨

whiney. let me tell you that. he’d complain so much to the point of almost waking you up from your sleep, earning him a pointed look from taehyun (telling him to shut up to avoid disturbing your rest), whose shoulder you were leaning on. beomgyu effectively quiets down for the next few hours because of this. but don’t get it wrong, he’s still plenty whiney about it, albeit silently. beomgyu would play with the hem on his shirt, wiggle his feet in boredom as he waits impatiently for you to rouse from your nap.

i bet he would be dying on the inside tho, like?? he was right there, yet you still managed to sleep on taehyun. you better prepare for the endless rambling you will face by the time you wake up, because he will not shut up i swear. he would be clinging to your arm, chin resting on your shoulder with him talking your ear out about how much he wanted to cuddle with you the whole time. 

he definitely would poke fun at you tho. he’d softly trace your lips with his thumb, “you got some drool here, baby.”

beomgyu’s clearly bluffing, but he’d really do just about anything just to see you scramble your hands up to your face as he stares at you with a boyish smile on his handsome face.

𝗞𝗔𝗡𝗚 𝗧𝗔𝗘𝗛𝗬𝗨𝗡

now this man right here, this guy is soft and tender when it comes to you. yep, he may be pretty rough with the others but never with you. taehyun would be totally chill about it actually. the moment your head rested on kai’s shoulder, he did nothing but smile at the two of you. all he cares about is you’re getting the sleep you need. plus, he trusts the members with you a whole lot, and vice versa. and the fact that you’re comfortable enough to sleep around them brings genuine joy in taehyun's heart, only proving that you are already a part of their little family.

i imagine taehyun wearing a cute grin on his face, observing how kai gently adjusts your position on his stature. just a couple of best friends ensuring that you’re comfortable and all. i also feel like taehyun would sneak photos of you, then set it as his wallpaper. he’s that chill about it. 

you would be surprised when taehyun wakes you up by kissing your forehead, lips pecking in a feather-like motion. 

“did you have a good sleep?” he’d keep pecking you on your crown, “i bet you did.”

𝗛𝗨𝗘𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚𝗞𝗔𝗜

gentle giant. that’s what he is to you. i feel he is another one who is chill about it, but he is slightly more clingy than taehyun. he’d pull a pout when you snuggle into yeonjun’s warmth, but he doesn’t say anything about it. he just stares lovingly at your sleepy face, when he’s supposed to be putting on a pouty front. what i can see happening is that kai would surely bring one of his precious plushies. he’d place them in your lap, just so you can have something to hold onto or cuddle with while you slept on yeonjun’s broad shoulder.

hyuka would be so cute about this too :((( he’d be all smiley and giggly about it, completely disregarding the fact that you’re resting on yeonjun the entire time. his undivided attention is all on you now, eyes trailing on how adorable your scrunched brows and squished cheeks are at this moment. 

“you’re so cute like this,” he’d coo at you. “i could just kiss you right now.”

you’d be left hiding behind the fluffy plushie in your hands by the end of it.

txt - s/o who struggles with food

a/n: this going to be a very angsty work so please bear with me...i'm feeling very angsty these days. anyways, this hits a little close to home so I understand if you're not able to read this. please be kind to yourself. i'm always here to chat if you ever need anything. please enjoy.

warnings! I will be discussing ed's and food and everything within that realm so please read this at your own digression! (you're not alone. if you're going through something right now, please seek help. it can be hard but you've got this! I believe in you!)

Yeonjun

Yeonjun for sure takes a while to notice anything is ever happening. He just gets so busy with work that he forgets. Sometimes, he struggles to take care of himself for this reason so he can definitely understand the struggle of taking care of yourself enough. When he does find out, he does all he can to help you. He's really caring towards his partner. 

By this point, Yeonjun hadn't seen in person for about 2 months. He was off on tour with the group. Of course, you two had facetime sessions when you two had a moment to spare but it still couldn't have prepared him for what he would face when he got home. The moment he arrived at the airport back home, he immediately asked to go back to your shared apartment. When he arrived, you met him at the door but the way you looked was very different. You appear thinner and it was quite obvious. Yeonjun tried not to make his reaction obvious but he couldn't help the way his eyes went wide when he laid eyes on you. You frown at him and after some talking, you spill about how you were so angry at yourself for the way you looked that you just kinda stopped eating right. Yeonjun makes it his mission to help you feel better and he helps you get back on track to eating enough like you did before. 

Soobin

This section does mention making yourself vomit so please read with caution!

Soobin is also so good when it comes to comforting others. He gives the best hugs and always knows just what to say to help you feel better. when he finds out you're having trouble with your relationship with food, he is absolutely heartbroken. He hates the idea of you struggling with something that he feels should make you happy. He is always going to do whatever you need him to do so you can recover. 

You and Soobin had been together for a few months now and everything was going really well. You both were very happy with one another and were getting along great. The only problem was that Soobin had no idea about your relationship with you. You would do your best to hide the fact that you were never able to get yourself to keep your food down. It made you feel so disgusted but Soobin had no idea. On this particular night, Soobin had come over to your apartment to eat dinner. You were usually able to run off after dinner under the guise that you needed to use the bathroom. Tonight, however, Soobin had become suspicious when you took longer than usual. He goes over to knock on the door but before he can even do that, he panics when he hears you crying and throwing up. He opens the door immediately and lets himself in. He looks really sad and even helps you clean up when you finally stop. You can;t help but open up to him when you see the pain in his face after watching you do this to yourself. He does his best to understand and help you get better, suggesting you talk to someone about this. He is really supporting you on your recovery journey. 

Beomgyu

This one hits a little close to home 😕

he isn’t super observant about your eating habits but he definitely notices when the snacks start to kind of disappear from the pantry. And it wasn’t just them going like normal, they were going a lot faster than normal. You usually only go out shopping for snacks once a week but have been going every three days lately. It was worrying him. Not so much because he was worried you’d gain weight, not in the slightest. He was worried because he was thinking you were going through something and weren’t wanting to tell him.

When you get home from work one afternoon, you see him in the kitchen at the dinner table. You were so excited to see him since he was usually still at work during this time. He looked worried and he asked you to sit down, so you did. He didn’t beat around the bush and straight up told you about his observations. It made you feel angry at first. Why was he bringing this up? Did you gain weight? Was he calling you fat? But then he explained why he even brought it up and that he just wanted to help. You broke out into tears and told him all about what was going on in your life at the moment and how eating made you feel comfortable. He totally understood and offered to help you work through it in different ways since snacking wasn’t the best idea. You accept his help and it starts to feel better

Taehyun

How dare his pretty girl think she’s ugly? He just can’t fathom why you would starve yourself or even think that you’re not good enough for some reason. He always does his best to combat this by complimenting you as often as he can and making sure he keeps track of whether you’ve eaten or not. He knows it’s a little frustrating for you when he’s constantly asking you if you’ve eaten but it’s just before he cares and he doesn’t want you to get sick. 

in this scenario…it was a few days until your wedding. you had been trying to hide it but you haven’t eaten much over the last week, causing you to feel weak. When the day finally came, you fainted as you were getting your hair done. Everyone in the room with you was panicking and they called taehyun to come help you wake up. He made sure to pick up some snacks from his dressing room and some water for you to drink. He had an itching feeling that you were starving yourself but didn’t want to accuse you of anything. When you wake up, he’s sitting over you with a worried look. “Oh dear. You’re awake. You had us all worried. I think I know why this happened though.” You had a guilty look on your face and he already knew what happened. He convinces you that you need to eat something now so you don’t feel weak on your guy's big day. He’s so proud watching you eat your snack and drink water and he makes his feelings known. 

Huening Kai

He is very caring and sweet and always knows when something is wrong with his girl. He started to worry when it was Wednesday and he hadn't seen you eat or heard about anything you've eaten since Monday night. He knew it was only a day but he was so worried. He didn't want you to go without eating. luckily, he'd planned to hang out with you tonight after schedules! he picks up your favorite meal and drinks for you to eat when he arrives. 

he gets there and knocks. when you open the door you hug him and give him a kiss hello but you kind of start to change in demeanor when you see the bags of food he had. you hadn't let yourself eat in the last two days and the sight of food was just too much for you at the moment. All you could think of when you tried to eat was being laughed at by a group of girls your age who were making comments of your weight when walking down the street. you finally break down and kai follows you, leaving the food at the table. He finally gets you to let him hold you, let him wipe away your tears. you tell him everything and he was so good at just listening. He coaxes you back to the table and even feeds you if it makes you feel more comforted.

Magic Shop - Grace

[BTS WEVERSE] GRACE started their LIVE: How are you feeling?

ARMY got their notification as it came through to their phones in the middle of the afternoon in Seoul. It had been awhile since Grace had been seen, heard or even mentioned since all members of BTS had enlisted with the military, Jungkook & Jimin the last two to go. Fans had taken to messaging or commenting on Instagram posts or on LIVE videos of TXT, CL, Seventeen and IU to see where Korea’s noona was. 

The background didn’t belong to any studio or a modern apartment like ARMY were used to seeing from BTS. It looked homely, warm, unique and with a hint of British to it. She was sitting in a brown leather office chair, dressed in a jumper but with a cardigan wrapped around her and a blanket thrown over her legs. 

As always, she was cradling a cup of tea.

The video was muted as she turned to her left, said something then nodded before turning her attention to the screen in front of her which was then when the video was unmuted. 

“Good afternoon, ARMY. How are we doing?” she asked, shifting so she brought a knee up to rest her mug on as she leaned forward to see the screen.

“You’re feeling sad? Hungry. You’ve got homework to do, ooh someone is about to go on a date. Well have a lovely time. Sad, sad, sad,” Grace read through the fast incoming comments. 

“I’m feeling sad,” she admitted as she smiled slightly. “As you know, the boys have gone to do their duty for the military. I’ve seen them all off now so I don’t know quite what to do with myself. I’ve come to stay with my parents for a little bit, Min-ji is enjoying himself with his grandparents. But I just wanted to come here and show my face, to say I’m here, I’ve not disappeared. I just needed a little while to reorganise my mind, if that makes sense?”

Grace took a sip of tea and watched the comments go up the screen, ignoring the ones that were plain stupid or the ones that only cared about one member in particular.

“Will I have contact with them? I will. Don’t worry, the group chat is alive and well. Namjoon sent a message which translated, means I’m freezing my ass off,” Grace explained as she switched to English when she saw the English comment come in. “So they're doing well. Seokjin is getting promoted left right and centre, Yoongi is having fun being a civil servant, Hobi is kicking ass and obviously our boys are adjusting. I’ve been keeping an eye on them in the best way I can. But it won’t be long till they are home. You just have to deal with me for a while.”

She laughed as the comments came in, some saying: ‘Grace noona is going to be the best ARMY leader ever’ ‘when is your solo stuff coming?’ ‘when is Seokjin coming home?’

“My solo stuff. Ah well, it’s coming. I promise. I have a lot planned but I can’t reveal everything yet. I’m under tight instructions not to say anything until it’s ready and we’re nearly there, you just need to wait a couple of months or so and then it will be here and you won’t know what to do with yourselves.”

“Am I okay?” Grace read one comment, pausing as she looked at the screen then the mug then back to the screen again. 

“No is the honest answer. I’ve been with all of them for 13 years now? Roughly. I met Namjoon first, then Yoongi & Hobi and then all of them trickled in. I’ve been at Big Hit since I was 18 or 19 and I’m nearly 34. That’s a long time. So my world since the day I signed my BTS contract has been them and now I don’t have that. They're doing their duty and I’m very proud of them but it’s hard not having one of them here, every moment of every day. So I’m adjusting to the fact that I don’t have access to all of them now. It was alright when it was just one or two but now it’s all of them.”

Grace paused and took a sip of her drink, smiling slightly. “But don’t worry about me, I’m getting there. Like all of you, we were all here and now there’s only one but I know the boys have plenty of things to entertain you with while they enlist and you’ve got my things coming as well, so you won’t be bored. In fact, you’re going to be complaining.”

It was obviously a tease and she knew exactly what she was hinting at with Yoongi’s Suchwita episode with her still to come where the announcement would be that she was coming on her birthday and then it was going to be a whirlwind from her birthday onwards and then her tour. 

So much to do, so little time but for now, she was content to sit with ARMY and just chat. 

“Sing Magic Shop,” one comment caught her eye. 

“I don’t have Jungkook’s karaoke set up but one moment, let me see what I can do.”

She untangled herself from her cocoon and went to the door, left the room and then came back with another phone. “I’ve stolen my mother’s phone so one second everyone.”

Grace closed the door behind her, just as Min-Ji slipped through the door. “Ah I guess he wants to say hello.” 

She sat back down in her chair and sorted her blankets, tapping at her lap so Min-Ji could jump up. He gracefully did so and put his front paws on the desk, sniffing at the phone that was filming her live. 

“You done? It’s only ARMY. Say hello.”

He gave a soft meow as he turned and made biscuits in her lap while she searched on her mother’s phone for the Magic Shop karaoke version. 

“Okay, here we go. So everyone, I’m fine, sad as you are but I’m here if you need me. Just shout my name on WeVerse and I’ll come running - no matter what you need, what you want to ask, what you want to see, don’t hesitate to contact me, okay? After all, I’m in charge of the Magic Shop now,” Grace smiled as she lifted her hand to show her heart fingers. “I love you all.”

ARMY were left with Grace singing her version of Magic Shop to them, which the clip would be later uploaded to Twitter with many asking for Grace to release it for ARMY as a present.

synopsis: it’s hard to navigate kai’s kindness and affection after he was the one who broke up with you for no reason

hyuka as your heartbreakingly sweet ex boyfriend who while he did end things still cares for you and loves you and is always there. he doesn’t have a mean bone in his body but you can’t help but feel like his kindness, his unchanging love wounds you. beyond the hemorrhaging of your heartbreak, there’s streams of guilt that run deeper with the way you put up a fight and a wall to kai. he keeps trying to be there for you — as a friend, but nothing of his actions since the break up speaks lesser of how he treated you before. you’re angry. you’re coldhearted. you’re on defense. you’re hurt.

and how could anyone be that way to someone who rivals the sun? these are the reasons you find yourself holed away in your room every night. turning down hangouts with the guys, leaving the group chat that you were in with everyone, practically ignoring kai, and in the few cases you speak it’s indifferently, moving away from him every time he even tries to be near you, leaving you to push yourself away in the dark. like how you are now, packing your things unceremoniously to leave, despite just arriving, now that you know kai is home. it’s humiliating, but you can’t turn back time, not when your silent disaster of a breakup now has involved the rest of them.

they do try and get you to stay as always. running away is cowardly. making a big deal out of nothing, or of what can’t be changed, is worse. however, they know you know this well enough.

“it hurts, you know?” the question startles kai, turning on his heel to see soobin at the kitchen table on his ipad, sporting his glasses, and tossing back a can of beer. kai turns back and huffs. he makes a show of how he feels with his crossed arms, pout, and deep sigh that extends to his shoulders. “what?” soobin confirms what he said with a nod. “it hurts for y/n. i mean, i know you mean well, hyuka. you always do, you always have. it just hurts that you still want to be the boyfriend and you aren’t.”

“tell me about it,” kai mutters under his breath, feeling the silence in response and drops another sigh at the weight of soobin’s gaze.

“no, tell y/n about it.” a badger of eyebrows towards the eldest emerges in response.

“well, i can’t.”

“then? it’s unfair for you to not give them space, and i know it’s virtually impossible for us to hang out with them without you since… this is our dorm and y/n’s our friend, but, i’m just saying, you broke up with them, they still don’t know why, and you’re still all over them. feels like you’re dangling a carrot in front of a bunny.”

kai drops his gaze to the floor at that. it takes a minute to settle, pondering now on his leader’s words. he likes to think he’s pretty sympathetic since he has no ill intentions, especially when it comes to you. he hadn’t thought of it that way. he just wanted to help.

but he knows things would only get worse if he did. if he did tell you why he ended things. if he explained why his agency emphasized that he can’t be dating anyone. when he had argued with the higher ups for the sake of keeping you in his life, stating that you and he were meant to be, they warned him that the only person who’d really get hurt is you, unfamiliar with the stark limelight that even he finds harmful as an idol. and he understood. he couldn’t. you always worked above and beyond to make time for him, even rearranging your schedule to align with the brief moments he had free time. he still wanted to be there for you.

but he knew it wasn’t right. so he backed off.

at least he tried to.

you had expected one of the guys to come over to just sit around and do nothing with at your house, opening the door without any hesitation at the knock. of course, your smile drops once you see who it is, eyes shimmering with hurt and anger, and you’re ready to shut the door but he slips his foot between it. you both just stare at his shoe sticking out, his little “ow” causing you to sigh and let him in. he’s so stubborn.

you walk back to your couch, arms crossed, as kai takes in your place. it’s been a month since the breakup. he hasn’t been here since then. nothing much has changed. the little plants at your sliding doors to your balcony lie by the bases of their pots, wilted and dead. a little mess here and there, but it’s still you. just having endured the brunt of getting dumped.

with an aloof and annoyed expression, you pick at your nails, lips pursed in a sour line.

“y/n?” he breathes out and you glance up at him, scowl forming.

“what?”

“have you eaten?”

the question makes you pause just for a second. he’s always cared about your eating and sleeping habits, checking in with you to remind you, taking care of you, and since you never let him a word in edgewise, it caught you off guard. you swallow a lump, rising to step away from him and rummage through your messes of trash and piles of clothes.

you’re not doing well.

“why does it matter to you?”

“because i care.”

you scoff, ruffling a garbage bag angrily, and you can feel him hovering over you from behind.

“here we go.” an eye roll.

“i do. i swear i do!” he presses and even if you hadn’t at all wanted to even talk to him or even look at him, you do all at once.

“then why did we break up?”

the question is finally in the air. your body language is tense, fists balled, expression tough even if he knows lunar eclipses in your eyes are more than soft by the brimming tears ready to take a leap. kai reads all of you, heart breaking, and after a moment, he sucks in a breath and slumps.

“that’s what i thought…” you scoff coldly through your teeth, sniffling and rubbing your wet cheek with your wrist. kai’s own vision blurs. his chest tightens and his throat burns. he hates this so much. instead of protecting you, all he’s done is break your heart and make you hate him.

“i wish i could tell you…” he lets out, voice breaking, and you lift your head at that. he never cries. a palm is stretched over his face, shoulders dropped in and lips trembling past the view of his limb.

“i think the more i talk to you, the more i try to ease the pain, all it does is hurt you and i’m sorry,” he sniffles hard, body scrunching up in an effort to hold in his cry. your eyes are waterfalls by now, even if there’s a mess of anger and sadness in you. kai drops his hand and with much hesitation looks up at you, blood shot eyes and shiny cheeks. you gasp.

“the truth is… my agency forbids us from dating and i know it’s stupid, b-believe me, i know, since you’re allowed to be friends with all of us still, it’s just that… you’re going to get hurt, like… it’s inevitable, y/n, and that’s not even the only thing i tried to fight — ” the breaths he draws in are so shaky and all you want to do is hold him, let him fold in your arms and let him cry, but with everything he’s saying, it only digs your feet further into the ground. your eyes are glazed over at the realization of it all. it didn’t matter how much work you’d put in, you’d always have to be a secret. and if the world discovered you, things would end horrifically not just for you two but for the boys, too.

“i already am the least popular member and you know how bad things can get and i can’t let you take the blow when things come crashing down. i just can’t. even if we try our case, let’s be honest, you’re going to be the one to suffer more and i wish i could do more, i wish i could have explained this to you, but that would have… it would have made me endings a lot harder than they would have to be. so i’m sorry, y/n…”

your grip on your shirt’s hem tightens, while the ones in your eyes loosens with the remnants of your tears. pain feels like gravity now, it’s weighing you down, and your chest feels so full, like you can’t breathe.

“i guess you’re right,” your voice is so broken and hoarse, kai looking up. the two of you stand far apart like strangers, lost looks in your eyes but they are reflections of your navigation of this heartbreak. he had to swallow such a large pill and keep it together for the two of you. how could anyone shoulder this and take the brunt for two?

it didn’t surprise you. your hyuka has not one bad cell in his body.

“i’m sorry, hyuka,” you palm your mouth, trying to shut the wails that are building in your throat down. “i’m sorry i was so cruel to you, i’m sorry i was so angry i didn’t care if it meant you got hurt, i’m sorry i didn’t know the truth…”

apologies flood from your tongue until it’s a jumble of consonants and vowels. kai takes another leap, walking from his spot and moving to you, coming to embrace you. that warmth, that sweet scent of his, the little nose whistles, all of him enveloped you in a hug you didn’t realize you were dying for for so long.

so as you broke down in his arms, knowing words coming from you and him, you felt your world coming down as you knew it. kai had been on this path by himself for about a month while you were taking your first turbulent steps. this isn’t a normal breakup, that much was clear, but one thing that was for certain, when the two of you eventually pulled away, eyes red and swollen, wet nose and cheeks rosy with grief, pupils so dark and broken, voices so tinny and hoarse, hand in hand so tightly, agreement to remain friends forever…

you and kai would always love each other.

hi. i just read the last chapter of your fic went blind last year and HOLY FUCK it is so good. i get it if you don’t want to like spoil things about your fic but i have many many questions and thoughts so im just gonna write a bunch of them.

the whole thing with like. dirk tapping into ultimate dirk and part of canon and then being shoved out? and then kind of realizing that he is a small part of something very big and wanting to be a bigger part of it, and then getting orange eyes representing a stronger connection to dirk-ness? fascinating. and is daves eyes turning red then symbolic of him becoming closer to dave-ness? and speaking of that- dante??? great character, very interesting. is he like somehow a version of dave? and what was he talking about on the swings? is he also in some sort of a loop? and what was it that dirk did at the end of chapter four? he did something with the sword, right, did he make dante decapitate him and then somehow come back to life?

and hal. and cal! holy shit, i can’t believe it but you kind of made me LIKE cal somehow? in the sense that he can be violent and outrageous and insane and vengeful when dirk can’t and its kind of cathartic.

its interesting to see where things stay the same as in canon and where they dont. like dave has chat logs with rose in 2014 and 2015? but hes only fourteen. so he’s technically both older and younger than he is at the beginning of homestuck. and dirk was like 13 in 1997, which is about when daves meteor should have dropped? but did they come with the meteors at all, in this world? dirk came with lil cal on his meteor in canon, but here he got him when he was 12. but dave still seems to be somewhat in touch with his time powers, and dirk with his heart powers, so some things carried over from the game?

god. this is all so fascinating and good. i will be probably rereading the fic and eating drywall until a new chapter comes out. you are an amazing writer.

wahhh thank you very much! for what it's worth i too have been thinking a lot about went blind last year. glances at the +50k word txt document of story notes and wip chapters. so i do love getting to talk about it even if working on it is very slow at the moment! i will put this under a readmore cos i got carried away but

there's a lot of things i don't want to spoil yet yes... but i think i've laid enough of the groundwork that these things won't feel terribly out of place within the story.

one thing i do feel comfortable in divulging is that any connections to canon are deliberately tenuous... how far can a character diverge from canon while still being understood as fitting the mold for that character? when a character is deliberately obscured, how much does fanon interpretation impact what feels in-character?

when you read fanfiction or fancomics or whatever kind of work about a specific character, your mind creates a superposition of the character as they exist in the original work and the character as they exist in the fanwork. as long as the "shape" of the character in the fanwork doesn't stick out too much from your perception of the canon "shape", you can accept that character--as written by someone else--as the same as in canon. some of the choices i have made are deliberately contradictory to the text of homestuck the webcomic. i have made these choices in order to tell the story i want to tell. even so, the basis for the characters in wbly are understood to be the same as in homestuck, creating an expectation for what these characters will act like, what their baseline is, and how you as a reader approach them. your feelings about cal changing within the context of wbly is an interesting case of this in my mind--the cal within wbly is presumably still close enough to canon that you can call it the same character, but the role of cal is changed enough that your impression of him is changed. that kind of thing is FASCINATING to me.

the reason wbly would not work as an independent work is the same as why the homestuck epilogues do not work without the pre-existing fandom of homestuck: there need to be expectations for these characters and relationships in order for me to challenge those expectations.

another thing i will divulge is that went blind last year is not the full title of the story in my mind--i won't tell the full one, but it does tie into just about every conflict in the story.

A Spooky First Meeting for Shepherd (A Halloween short story)

(Image was drawn by the wonderfully talented @btm-txt and was the main inspiration for this Halloween Short story) Anyone who knew Shepherd one thing about him, that he HATED crowds and parties... but he LOVED Halloween just as much as that.

So it certainly surprised the whole family that he was doing something no one ever expected.

He was going out tonight. To a party of all things. Angel Island was not that big on events to do with Halloween, which was always a disappointment for him. And when they were, it was more catered to children. So when he heard word of an adult Halloween event taking place that very night. He was intrigued.

His family had tried to warn him however that the party might not be exactly to his taste, but he wanted to take the chance. When would there ever be an adult Halloween event again? He didn't want to be disappointed anymore than he already was, his family already talked him out of his original costume. He had spent so much time prepping it, to make his costume a terrifying and practical piece of art. All for them to want him to settle for a bare bones devil outfit, all down to the plain horn headband, tail piece and dirtied shirt and pants. But hes still had his hopes that the event would be up his alley and not at all like they kept saying. Unfortunately... they were right. Shepherd really did try to enjoy himself, he really tried. He wanted something to celebrate Halloween as an adult so badly, somewhere he could enjoy a true night to celebrate the wonderful horrors and darkness of the night. But this was not it...

He'd quickly realised that while the event was catered for adults, it wasn't for the 'scare' factor... it was for the mass drinking and the more provocative attendees and entertainers. He personally had no interest in such matters, in fact he'd find himself annoyed when at the chance to dress on Halloween people would rather look sultry then scary... Seth would just tell him not to 'slut-shame'. He just wished he could find more like-minded scary people in this holiday, that was all! All that was around here was mostly youths drinking, dancing and chattering to loud music and occasionally having whatever drugs were available. Even his attempts to enjoy the music and helping himself to some drinks didn't improve this outing. Shepherd was at his wits end, and had quickly retreated to a bench. Contemplating where he should cut his losses and go home disappointed. But right now, he needed a moment to collect himself, all this stimulation was becoming so much for him. "What a letdown...", he muttered quietly to himself, rubbing his temples with one of his hands, the music was starting to make his head pound.

"Pardon me, but would it bother you if I could take a seat beside you?", a voice suddenly spoke to his right, the tone immediately catching him off guard, the tone was almost old-fashioned. When he glanced, he saw someone in a simple sheet ghost costume... or at least a terrible attempt at one. The sheet was sheer, so he could see the person underneath it, at least slightly. Even some of their spines had poked through the sheet. The one thing he could definitely see was a pair of golden eyes staring at him through the sheet. Shepherd wasn't amused, he gave an annoyed sigh, "Look. If you want to chat with someone, I'd highly recommend you go to ANYONE else but me. I am no mood for stupid small talk...", he grumbled, putting his head on his hand. The alcohol he had has already loosened his tongue. The other person didn't seemed that upset, or even phased by Shepherds reaction, "Oh well, no. I did not wish to converse at all, actually. I just want to sit and observe the passerby's. There is no where else I can find to sit however, and you already seemed bothered enough. It was only the polite thing to ask". "...Oh", Shepherd was a bit caught off guard by the very honest response. If they really didn't want talk then, was there really any harm in them sitting beside him? "...Um... sure, go ahead", Shepherd shuffled to the left, giving the stranger space to sit. The bench creaked as they sat down, crossing their legs and showing their leather boots. And while Shepherd for a while remained sat, scowling in his frustration over tonight, he anticipated anxiously at the stranger to make some kind of awful small talk with him. Just waiting for one of those tedious questions 'So how's your night been?' 'Enjoying the party?' Ugh. He dreaded small talk. Having to force himself to converse was so painful, he couldn't understand how people could do it with no issue. But the stranger kept their word, the more minutes and not a word was spoken between them. They hadn't even glanced at Shepherd's direction, they really just people watching, occasionally snickering at whatever sight amused them. It was certainly a welcomed change of pace from most interactions he's been forced to interact with. In fact when the stranger would speak, it was more to themselves, another giggle escaping them, "And they call this scary? Heh. How peculiar". Even though Shepherd knew that they likely weren't making any attempt to speak to him, those words just triggered something in him. The spark had been lit of his frustrations over this holiday. He threw his head back, groaning, "Honestly! These days, people more than anything just use this holiday to dress up ridiculously or provocatively and get drunk! I get people will call me a grumpy old man for this, but I'd just KILL for this day to be more scary!... or at least find someplace that celebrates it that way". The stranger's eyes widened through the holes, sparkling with interest. They tilted their head at Shepherd, "Oh, you want it to be more scary?".

Shepherd crossed his arms as he kept laying his head back in his frustration, "More. Than. Anything. But no. Apparently the way I want to celebrate is 'too much' according to my family. What's the point. then?! I'll hear of Halloween celebrations that go so far into the scare factor, yet here? It's unheard of! We've had Halloween celebrated here for as long as I can remember but even still It's just-just-...ugh!!", he slouched over again, pouting a little, he knew this was ridiculous to complain about. He could really feel his age at his behaviour but this was a frustration that he had felt for bubbling for a long time. He could hear a small snicker coming from the stranger, "And yet, despite all your frustrations and loathing, you find yourself here? Quite a contradiction, I must say". Shepherd sighed, sitting back up and looking towards them, "Well.. truthfully, I'd rather not be here. I just wanted to give this a chance. Hearing this being catered to adults got me... excited, for once. I understand my families concern if I go out dressed how I'd like and I terrify some children and innocent passerby's that don't partially want to see anything frightening on their day to day, but I didn't even get to do it here... not that it would've mattered, anyway... I'd still stand out". The stranger just chuckled lightly again, "Hm. For someone who didn't seem interested in talking, you've been quite a delight to speak to thus far. May I get your name?", they stretched out a hand, brown patches on the fingers, with dark claws on the tips and...oddly iridescent fur on the hands. "...Shepherd", the guardian reluctantly responded whilst shaking the hand, expecting some sort of unwanted connection of that name and the Guardian title... the woes of being a local immortal celebrity of sorts. But again, he'd get no such response, "It is a pleasure to make you acquaintance Shepherd, I am Beleth. But you may call me Bel if you wish".

Hm. An unusual name. But that wasn't a bad thing. "So, this was not apart of you plan of a 'terrifying' costume, hm?", Beleth teasingly asked, their finger tips touching the fake horns on Shepherds head, who surprisingly hadn't flinched at the touch, "How adorable...". The comment made Shepherd smirk a bit, raising an eyebrow, "Adorable? I certainly wouldn't use that word to describe anything about me". Beleth laughed, touching them more but eventually backing their hands away, "Well, nonetheless, they are nothing compared to my own". This made Shepherd very confused, "You...have horns?". "Can you not see them? They are right here", Beleth gestured around the top of their head, and true to their word, the short spikes that had cut through the sheer sheet were indeed horns. Not at all short spines like Shepherd had initially thought. "I do not believe my spikes were not a good choice for this costume", Beleth laughed, adjusting the sheer sheet again, "Not very well thought out on my behalf". Shepherd made a face, "I've got to ask. Why did you choose to wear this costume. It's-...honestly awful". Beleth laughed loudly in response, leaning their head back as they did so, "Well, truth be told, I have never celebrated this 'Halloween' before, and I was not certain how to dress for it. I just saw similar costumes like this and this material was all I could find". "This is your first Halloween? Ever?", Shepherd tilted his head, his curiosity caught. "Yes! Where I come from, we don't celebrate this holiday, in fact I hadn't even heard of it!". This intrigued Shepherd more, "Where are you from?".

They glanced away for a moment, "Uh... quite far from here... I do not wish to bore you with the details but I oddly have been mistaken for a local. I suppose I do bare resemblance to you echidnas. Must be able to blend in somewhat". Beleth moved their hands off the top of their sheer sheet, showing their face fully to Shepherd. While yes, they did have some echidna traits, they did not seem one entirely. Their fur appeared more leathery at some spots, and the iridescent shine was not natural to any echidna he's seen before. Instead of spines, they seemed to have more spikes going across their skin, and the protruding fangs were not an echidna trait either... unless they were fake. But they certainly didn't look it. And their clothes too, if Beleth hadn't worn the sheet, they still would've blended in fine. Their look was a sort old-fashion look, almost like they were a vampire. A poofy sleeved shirt, with a beautifully detailed jewel choker. A corset around their torso that looked almost like ribs. They probably would've looked better if dressed just like this alone, but Shepherd didn't want to make such a comment. Nonetheless, they were quite unique to look at. Shepherd could safely he's never seen a face like Beleths before. "Ah, so you're a hybrid", Shepherd nodded, this made a bit more sense to the characteristics. "Yes! Exactly!", Beleth agreed, perhaps a bit too quickly, they smiled and tilted their head at the Guardian, "Care to guess what exactly I'm a hybrid of is?". Shepherd took the challenge, looking them over, "Uhhh... an echidna and...", as he looked Beleth up and down, trying to think of anything that they could resemble, some of their details seemed reptilian to him, so that was his first guess, "A lizard perhaps?". "Yes! Exactly! You are quite observant!". Perhaps it was just the drinks but Shepherd found himself enjoying this conversation, and Beleth's company. Guess he found a silver-lining to this disappointing evening. "So, since you have made it so very clear you would rather be elsewhere. Would you care to join me? The charm of this celebration has worn by now", Beleth gave a smile, "But I would very much enjoy to keep speaking with you". Instinctively, a part of Shepherd wanted to decline. Socialising was just such an unknown for him, he couldn't understand so many of these unspoken rules and doing it for long always wore him out. Yet... Beleth had been quite a breath of fresh air. He couldn't remember the last time he had a pleasant conversation with a stranger... at least not one that involved any of his family or his previous wife. And so, Shepherd gave a small smile, "Sure...I'd like that". The two stood up, which made Shepherd realise that... Beleth was taller than him?! His surprise must have been on his face, as Beleth gave another laugh. "I am assuming you noticed my height? I have been told I am 'freakishly' tall". "Yeah... and people told me that...", Shepherd gave an awkward chuckle, not really expecting to find his new acquaintance towering over him. But he shook his head, snapping him out of it, "Anyway. Did you have anywhere in mind?". "Hm. As the local one here. How about you show me around? Perhaps you have a more terrifying place in mind, since that is what you wanted so terribly". "...I'm not sure you're joking or not but I could actually do that. I know this island very well. I can show you many spots where I know some freaky things happened". Shepherd spoke, not even joking about his offer. Beleth's smile increased, "I would delighted. Do go on, Shepherd". The two walked alongside eachother, continuing to talk as they left the loud and crazy party. While the event itself had failed to please both of them, they seemed to have been happy enough in their own company. And gotten a better treat than any candy... a new friend. Kindred spirits that managed to find eachother on this spooky night.

Hello moablr! Guess who? 🥸 I don’t know if anyone is here who does not know that I moved blogs, but, surprise! It’s aleyna from the now deleted blog, cupidchois xD

Anyway, let me get back on track.

Back on December 2021, I was sketching out a plan to start a discord server for all txt fic writers & readers!

Why was I working on something like that? Well, the writing community was declining rapidly. And sadly, it has only worsened since then. In case you’re still not aware, the interactions have been decreasing to the point it feels pointless sometimes, writers have got their works stolen and reposted, and, people still get hate over literally anything, for god knows what reason! So many writers have quit because of the above mentioned reasons and more, and there are many who are contemplating to do the same. Can you blame them, though?

If you are someone who has been here since 2020/21, you know exactly what I’m talking about. And what does this server has to do with what is going on? It’s an attempt to help with the current situation.

Now, why should you consider joining the txt fic hub? How will that benefit you?

If you are a writer, we strive to create a space where you can promote your works, seek help for anything writing related (beta readers, fic banners, tumblr advice) and connect with the fellow writers and obviously, the readers. We’ve added the sprinto bot for writers who are looking for sprints! We welcome mxr writers as well as mxm writers!

If you are a reader, you can easily find new fics to read by checking the fic promotion channels! If you have a favorite fic you want to share with others, there’s a fic rec channel for that too! You can help out the writer’s by providing feedback!

In general, you can make new connections, have fun chatting, and help strengthen the bond of the moablr writing community! You can select your unique roles from the customization channel! We have various bots for your entertainment (memes, music, etc.), and we take suggestions, so you can always tell us what you think would be nice addition to the server! We also have different spaces created for minors and adults <3

Additionally, you’ll only have to follow a few chat rules and promotion rules! This is not any type of network, so you can leave at any moment if you get overwhelmed (we will try our best to not let that happen) or simply lose interest; and there’s absolutely nothing you need to notify the admins about. This is your place, and you can share as little or as much information you feel comfortable with!

when i first started out listening to kpop, i listened to exo a lot before seventeen! so, i biased baekhyun before dino!

seungkwan🥹💕he's one of my ult biases, and i just love him so much! he's so sweet and caring towards the members! and i feel like he often forgets that it's okay for him to just take a moment for himself, and take care of himself! i'd honestly want him to be my best friend lol! but he truly deserves the whole world!

3. if you were to spend the day with either 3 or 1, who would you choose and what would you do?

wonwoo, my other ult bias!💕 he just seems so chill in his down time, and i feel like we don't even have to do anything together! we could just do our own thing in comfortable silence! like quality time if that makes sense! but i would play video games with him! i'm not used to being a PC video game player (i'm more of a console video game player), so it'd be cool for him to teach me! or also just really sit down and have a nice chat! he seems like to the type of person you can speak to for hours about anything!

his smile! he just has such an adorable smile! i love it sm!

maybe his duality! he's just so cool and badass on stage! he's such a great performer! but then he's so sweet and funny when he's not on stage! the duality is insane, and i love it!

Self Discovery

It was a relatively normal day for the members of Stray Kids. 3Racha was in the studio, working hard on the next album. VocalRacha had been asked to make an appearance in their dongsaeng’s variety show, so they were spending the next couple of days filming with the members of Xdinary Heroes. It was decided that for easiness sake XH Seungmin would go by his stage name to minimize confusion.

Meanwhile DanceRacha was planning on working on some choreography for some of the b sides of their other albums. They didn’t need to make any more choreography for any of their other albums, but there were a couple of songs the entire group felt deserved a choreo. Only, Minho hadn’t yet arrived. Felix and Hyunjin had been waiting for their hyung to arrive for the past half hour, and they were starting to worry, as their hyung is normally quite punctual. Felix was in the process of texting Minho to ask him where he was , when he entered the studio pushing a stroller.

“Hyung, what’s with the stroller?” Felix asked, completely dumbfounded as he watched his hyung carefully place his backpack on the ground. Helix recognized it as one of those bubble backpacks to carry pets in.

“Sorry I’m late guys. I was arguing with security about letting these guys in. It’s international cat day, ya know. And it’s only fair that they be treated like the gods they are and see where their human spends the day.” Minho said this nonchalantly as he opened up his backpack and opened up the stroller, letting all three cats out so they could begin exploring the practice room. Hyunjin and Felix both sat on the floor and started chatting with each other while the three felines explored their new surroundings.

The trio talked while stretching for around ten minutes before Minho got up and turned on the music. The cats were still exploring the room, but they were mostly examining the scents from their gym bags, so it was safe to start practice. They started off by warming up to other groups’ songs, such as Eleven by Ive and Good Boy Gone Bad by TXT. They finished off warm ups by dancing to Maniac. Minho and Hyunjin just kind of stared at Felix for a moment during the chorus when he started doing the Macarena instead of the choreography. The trio then broke out laughing for a couple of minutes before getting to work.

They decided they were going to start off by doing the chorus. While they were working on a specific move for the chorus, Hyunjin felt his nose begin to get itchy. He did his best to ignore and wound up rubbing at his nose a couple of times. He was relieved when the sensation went away.

They decided to start with Chronosaurus. They were currently working on a part where they had decided that the rap line was essentially going to plank, while the vocal line sat on their back before jumping up one by one. At the moment, Hyunjin was in the plank position and Minho was hovering over his back. They were discussing the best way to transition into the next move, when Hyunjin felt a much more urgent prickling sensation in his nose.

Minho had fully sat down on Hyunjin’s back, preparing to try the move they had just finished talking about. Unbeknownst to the ninety-eight liner, the oldest millennium liner was majorly struggling.

“Heh-stschh, oww.” Minho quickly got off of Hyunjin’s back when he expressed pain. Hyunjin also sat up as soon as Minho was off of him and he was rubbing his forehead. Hyunjin wound up sneezing again a moment later. Felix had gone over to the computer and grabbed a couple of tissues, then brought them over to Hyunjin.

“Are you okay Hyunjin? What hurts?” Minho asked as he tried to give the younger man an examination.

“I’m fine hyung. I just whacked my face on my fist when I sneezed.” Hyunjin said with a little bit of a blush forming on his cheeks. He shoved the tissues into his pocket then went back into the plank position. Clearly saying that he was fine to continue practice. The trio continued to work on the chorus for the next hour. Unfortunately, Hyunjin kept interrupting their flow with occasional sneezing.

They’d finally finished the chorus and were ready to start working on the first verse. Hyunjin had managed to go the previous hour without needing to blow his nose. However, his nose was now running and he was feeling rather congested. Not to mention the itch the had been plaguing him thus far. He had been doing his best to hold back the sneezes, managing to only sneeze once every several minutes. He was sure he was on the cusp of a proper fit, so he held up a finger and ran over to the tissue box.

"HEH-stschhhh, HIH-stschhh, heh-stieghhhh, hih-stschhhh-stieghschhh." The sneezes weren't necessarily loud, but they were forceful enough that they were bending him at the waist. Hyunjin's head nearly collided with the desk, but he was able to turn away in time. The last sneeze had actually propelled him forward a couple of steps, making him have to double back to get the tissues.

He looked and saw that Minho and Felix had decided to take a water break. He blew his nose a couple of times before joining them on the floor with his own water bottle. The cats had been sitting on the couch, watching the humans as they practiced. However, they got up to join the humans as soon as they realized that there were laps to investigate. Soonie had naturally gone to Minho, Doongie had gone to Felix, and Dori decided to climb into Hyunjin's lap.

“Hyunjin-ah, are you feeling okay?” Minho asked. He didn’t bring up the sneezing he’d been doing, but it was clearly the reason for the question. Hyunjin appreciates his hyung’s concern, however, he’s not entirely sure what the answer is.

“Kind of hard to say hyung. I feel okay right now, but I think I might be getting sick.” Hyunjin sniffled when he finished talking. He legitimately felt okay. He was just sneezy and his eyes were getting watery. The only explanation he could think of was that he was in the beginning stages of a cold. Both Minho and Felix nodded in understanding, and Minho said that they would probably cut practice short so that Hyunjin could get some rest.

After ten more minutes of drinking water and relaxing with the cats, it was time to resume the choreography planning. Unfortunately, Hyunjin’s condition appeared to be declining rapidly. The amount of sniffling he’d been doing had increased significantly during the water break and he needed to blow his nose before he could resume with working. He also found his eyes beginning to itch and quickly rubbed at them in hopes of making the feeling go away.

They decided to work on the chorus a bit more, because the transition they currently had between the first verse and the chorus was a bit clunky. Hyunjin’s nose and eyes were getting progressively more itchy and he ducked into his elbow to sneeze three times. He excused himself to blow his nose again. He could feel that the itch was still there and once again building.

“HEH-stschhh, hih-stscshhh, HIH-stschhh-istschhh, heh-stieghietschhh, hih-ngxtshhieshh.” The tissues that Hyunjin had grabbed were completely soiled by the sneezing fit. He grabbed some more tissues so that he could properly blow his nose and rubbed at his eyes again in the process. Hyunjin was starting to not feel great and decided to tell Minho that he was definitely sick and needed to go home.

“Hyung, I think I should go home. I’m starting to feel good at all.” Minho nodded before looking at the younger. When he did look at Hyunjin, his eyes widened a little.

“Hyunjin, are you allergic to cats?” Hyunjin looked confused at the question.

“Not that I know of. Why?” Felix seemed to understand the line of questioning and jumped before Minho could respond.

“Jinnie, you were totally fine before hyung brought his cats. Since then you’ve been sneezing a fair amount and now your eyes are really red.” Upon hearing the last statement, Hyunjin went to rub at his eyes again, only to have Minho grab his wrist.

“Don’t do that Jinnie, you’re just going to make it worse. I’m pretty sure you’re allergic to cats. I’m going to bring my babies home, and Felix is going to bring you back to the dorm. You are going to take a shower and change your clothes. If there’s any in your medicine cabinet, you’re going to take some allergy medicine and you should start feeling better soon.” Both Felix and Hyunjin nodded and began packing up their things before leaving the room.

Felix and Hyunjin went to Hyunjin’s dorm, since that’s where his clothes are. The older member did as he was told and showered, while Felix went through the medicine cabinet to look for some antihistamines. He found the medicine and left it on the counter before leaving a note saying that he was going to his dorm to shower and change as well.

Several minutes later, both Hyunjin and Felix were now sitting in the living room of Hyunjin’s dorm. Hyunjin had a box of tissues and both men had a mug of tea. Hyunjin had to admit he was feeling a bit better after the shower, and only time would tell whether or not the meds would help. Since the trio had decided to be done for the rest of the day, Felix and Hyunjin decided to play some video games. They texted Minho what the plan was and he responded that he’d join them after he dropped the cats off at his house and showered.

The trio had been playing for a couple of hours when 3Racha and VocalRacha returned from their schedules at roughly the same time. Chan immediately got concerned at the small pile of tissues that was on the coffee table and questioned the three dancers about it.

“It’s a long story, hyung. But apparently I’m allergic to cats.” Hyunjin said somewhat nonchalantly. Both Felix and Minho snorted before Minho told the group exactly what had happened.

Gonna ask something bc were curious, what do yall use to keep track of your system? Were a newly discovered system and weve seen/heard people recommend simply plural, plural kit, lighthouse, and some others, along with just journaling about it so im are curious what you use or would recommend

we use a few things! to be honest it comes down to preference.

early on in our discovery, we didn't log switches but we did keep a "journal" on a private twitter and we also kept a journal in a .txt file. both of those are pretty bad, but the idea was to have a place to dump funny moments or vent if we needed it, and it worked at the time. we would not recommend either of those nowadays. twitter is unstable and stupid, and a text file has no formatting which makes it difficult to parse.

our favorite for keeping track of members has always been a google sheet. we have it set up like this, with the top row stickied so it stays as you scroll:

we would recommend you set it up in a way that is comfortable and works for your system.

the reason we like it is because you can have multiple sheets in the same document, add filters to sort members by, and even look through the version history to see when members were first added or removed. we have a separate sheet (same document) with all of our dormant members in case they ever return, and one for our subsystem as well. for bigger systems like ours, this is the way to go. it isn't clunky and you can see everything at once.

we update members on the sheet as soon as they crop up, but only use it for the bare-bones information. for tracking switches and more detailed information specifically, we use discord and simplyplural in conjunction -- and if you don't want to go through the hassle of updating a google doc constantly, simplyplural is your best bet.

to be honest, we don't usually bother tracking switches. if we remember, the times are more of a guesstimate. this is mostly because we switch too frequently for it to be helpful, and we're basically always cocon with at least a handful of other headmates. but simplyplural does that, if that's what your after. you can set a pin code, too, so even if someone gets ahold of your device, your information is safe.

setting up a pluralkit isn't really difficult, just time consuming, and having it already set up means you can link it to simplyplural too. but regardless of which you make first, you can sync it to the other one.

discord is especially good for communication. ours is structured like this:

we would recommend you have a few different channels to suit your needs, namely a main channel or two for the collective to chat in, as well as individual ones for each member to use and a channel for bot stuff (which we call "housekeeping"). we also dump images we like or share what we draw or write.

we also think keeping a journal (digital or physical) is useful, not just for tracking everyone but in general to get your feelings out. make sure it's somewhere safe and private -- wouldn't want anyone to get their hands on it. that's why we prefer to use a private discord for this, because it's easy to sort and no one will find it accidentally.

Well why not? Even if you think it's not helpful and might embarass artist. I don't get what's embarrassing in this cause it's not like they're demanding him to not date or shit. Their demands are clear, they're only asking about LC's RIAA certification cause if jk can get it done even tho jm's was first one to sold out 1M then why can't they do that for jm?

Then next demand is Spotify split which idt will be useful for now but who knows it might be helpful for future use and if the company can do that for TXT and New jeans so why not their one of the biggest artist??? Why does he gets different treatment in a bad way than others?

Hype won’t listen or respond to the hashtags and emails so maybe the trucks will work (I doubt it) I’m glad they did it and i hope jimin is aware of the situation so that he can demand the certification himself

I totally do empathize and understand why trucks were sent. I think that HYBE is deserving of criticism for a lot of things in CH2 and there are moments where their silence is especially unforgivable to me, such as the billboard sales deletion. I hate that they waited until the night before Haegeum to update the rules on their store despite knowing we were trying to keep LC charting (I don’t think they had it figured out right away, but I also don’t think they came to whatever conclusion they did coincidentally the night before Haegeum). Also that Weverse article where they uplifted MW was absolute trash and they deserved to get dragged for it.

Part of the issue for me is that I think there are plenty of legitimate concerns and complaints (such as HYBE not even sending most of the members music to radio) that the fandom refuses to talk about (or straight up lies about) at all these days, and it just festers and opinions become more extreme. I also don’t think the statement k-PJMs released was bad. A lot of it really was just asking for clarity over certain issues without demanding anything. Also I think this is about a million times better than sending trucks over outfits and hair styling or because he worked with female dancers. But I guess for me I still don’t think enough of the things they listed in that specific statement warranted sending trucks over when it’s such an extreme thing to do and probably very embarrassing for Jimin (sorry this is so long, I just want to explain my stance here 🙏)

I don’t think BH is responsible for the Spotify split considering the same thing happened to TXT (their song was combined for around four days and then split same as like LC, also NewJeans do not have any combined songs). Spotify just seems messy and inconsistent sometimes but generally multi language songs do not seem to be regularly combined. Spotify also has errors all the time on their end as well and I’m constantly seeing weirdness with credits and similar things - I don’t think it’s a Jimin specific issue. The only evidence I’ve seen pinning it on BH was some random chat log which is a really flimsy thing to base such a heavy accusation on. BH absolutely does need to step up with how they manage their Spotify accounts though. I can’t understand why they’re so inconstant with songs getting added to the This is BTS playlist, last I checked Taehyung still doesn’t have a This is V playlist, and I feel like they should have given all the members better playlisting in general. The way they run those accounts just seems so sloppy to me sometimes. But I don’t think BH should have been expected to speak on the LC split as we know this isn’t even something irregular that happens with Spotify (recently happened to Jennie and TXT and even Post Malone had an issue with combined streams on Spotify). It was an awful thing to experience which is why I think we feel like it warrants some kind of statement, but taking a step back I can personally understand why there wasn’t one. I don't think it would have hurt at all for them to have cleared this up with fans though (I remember they said something about JKs YouTube) and I wish they communicated better with us, but obviously this is the consequence of that.

My most controversial take is that I think a lot of fans blow the CD restock issue out of proportion. The only strong argument for them to restock imo would have been to help with the BBMAs, but I honestly don’t think that’s a good enough reason to demand it either. Jimin also had that nasty hit piece written about him from billboard where they targeted and smeared him for the sales of LC specifically. This is just me reaching, but I could theoretically understand why BH might not have wanted to aggressively pursue a sales award after that. But there was also just no guarantee Jimin would have been able to win that award and imo it would have been a lot of effort and resources that could go to his future project instead (because he’s definitely working on something!). And I definitely don’t think it would have made sense for them to bother restocking LC to help us randomly rechart months later. LC would have reentered in the 90s and fallen out as soon as CDs were gone. It would have been cool, but I can’t see why the company should be expected to restock for that reason. I can see why fans want restocks and I still think they should have, but I don’t think it’s the height of neglect or sabotage like some make it out to be either (I’m not upset about them getting dragged for it though, they should know how it looks). And obviously tkk had more CDs considering they didn’t have DC2 store. I’m just waiting to see how his next single is treated concerning the CDs.

Now I’m in total agreement about the RIAA situation. Unless I’m missing something, it’s honestly pretty indefensible to me. Even if it wasn’t malicious, it was incredibly stupid. By doing all that for JK (obviously done purposefully to give him a boost during his promotions and to help legitimize his standing in the US) they acknowledged that it was something worth doing and publicizing. So the fact that they didn’t do the same thing for one of their other artists is just a bad look imo, it’s just blatantly uneven treatment and puts more of their actions into question. Plus highlighting Jungkook as the first feels so intellectually dishonest when he’s only the first because of their own unequal treatment (although I do think Euphoria & L&R qualified earlier this year). But I’m not an expert on this subject so if there’s an explanation out there that makes sense with this, I would genuinely love to hear it.

As far as protecting him better, yeah I can’t really speak on that. I will say the mail situation was really upsetting and the company seemed very at fault. I didn’t like how they handled it and it’s scary someone managed to get a hold of his personal information like that and it’s scary they might have employees who have malicious intent working with them, but it’s also a situation I’m very much on the outside of. I just don’t think it’s a great idea to bring public attention to that at all. I also think Jimin is probably aware of those forums to an extent (especially after what happened with his mail), so all I can do is hope that he and his team are staying on top of it and report anything serious I see quietly to BH.

I do think it’s good to keep HYBE accountable and on their toes and I hope they see our complaints about certain things and do better next time. But I also think some people don’t realize how insanely embarrassing it would be to have those giant trucks with your personal business being literally broadcast to every single one of your coworkers and the general public with loud music blaring in the background. I also just don’t think it’s our place to speak for Jimin. I think we can complain about things that impact us as fans, but I can’t be mad on his behalf, if that makes sense, like I don’t want to be presumptuous enough to try and speak for him. And also I just really don’t want Jimin to think his fans are unhappy or take any of this to heart or feel bad about anything, I would literally die to think I made him sad. Even though I think this whole solo thing is a learning experience for him and it’s okay to make mistakes and receive feedback about them, this is just a bit on the extreme side. I don’t want him to know how miserable some of his fans are and to blame himself 😭. Anyways, thank you if you read this whole thing, I just do take it very seriously because I love Jimin a lot and most opinions I come across are one extreme or the other these days.
