you two have a cute little arrangement with one another. While he is working on music in the studio, you sit on the floor, a couch, or literally anywhere else and read a book. you have your earbuds in and he has his headphones on. Neither of you talk for a couple hours but you're together, which is just enough. When he's ready for a break, he pulls off his headphones and taps your shoulder. 

"How's the reading coming, sweetie?"

A special memory you have together involves reading. He brought you along to the fitting for his first runway show. It was taking a while so you brought a book, having shoved it in your purse. you find a little space and sneak away while he's not looking. After he is done with his fitting, he goes looking for you. He finds you in the corner of the make up room. 

"hey you! My little book worm is hiding from me. Come on, get your nose out of the book. We have some time to explore tonight."

you two enjoy quite a bit of reading time together. You read your little novels and yunho is reading his little manga series. you two have a little reading room in your apartment since you both have so many hard copy books. His manga books are on shelves on one side of the room and your novels are on the other side. You also have a record player and speakers in the room, the both of you typically opting to listen to instrumental jazz while reading. 

"baby. let's read tonight. We can order something yummy and just read our books. I'll even tell you about my series."

buys you every book you could ever want. It's his way of showing you he loves you. Instead of showing up with roses or another bouquet of flowers when he picks you up on a friday night, he comes with a new book for you to read. He also found your book wishlist and buys a bunch of them for holidays, birthdays, and anniversaries. He also loves hearing about your current book, which makes him so proud that his princess is so smart. 

"Here honey. I got you something new. the nice lady at the book store said this one is a really good one."

I can't get over the guy saying he acts like a baby when he's not on camera. Naturally, I imagine him, this big, strong, broad man, sprawled across your lap. He lays there and admires you, watching you read this book. On occasion, he asks you to read out loud to him. You two even have special books you read together. He picks them usually. 

"Love, can you read our book to me? pleaseeee?"

He wants your hobby so badly. When you first tell him you like reading, he asks you a ton of questions about it. He isn't much of a reader himself but now he wants to be. From then on, he brings you new books that he wants to read and insists the two of you start a book club. He listens to the audio book and you read the book. At the end, you two confer and share your thoughts. 

"did you think (character name) really deserved to go through that? because that was brutal!"

he thinks you look so sexy while reading, especially if you have cute little glasses. he loves seeing you curled up in your special reading chair, looking are smart and cozy. he tends to just leave you alone when he catches you in a book but, he;ll bug you if he sees the cover and likes it. 

"pst...baby? whats' that book about? looks cool." he loves the outcome because hearing you yap about your book makes him the happiest guy in the world.

Something you two do together is go to the gym together. you arrive there with one another but split ways on the way in. You make your way to the cafe next door and he walks into the gym. you read for two hours while he's getting in a nice workout. After he's done, he picks you up at the cafe and on your way home, he asks about your reading. 

"so, did anything good happen in the book?" "Oh really? Tell me more!"

Most people know beomgyu to be silly and energetic. Being quiet for two seconds would actually make him explode and we don’t want that. 

That's why it’s so shocking that you and him end up together but you know what they say, opposites attract 

You are really shy. Like, so shy that you'd rather eat the pickles on your food that you asked to be removed. 

Beomgyun is always there to make sure things are right. He will march right up to the counter and make sure they make your meal correctly, no matter how many times you tell him you’ll be okay. 

“She asked for no pickles. Can this be remade?”

“Beomgyu, no. I’ll eat them. It’s okay.”

“Shhh it’s okay. The nice lady is going to remake your burger. You have to eat what you asked for.”

Something else that also happens between you to is him just being a lot and you having to calm him down

Sometimes, he has no clue that he is overstimulating himself. 

He;ll be running around your apartment, just looking at random things and you’ll have to make him stop

Truthfully, you were getting dizzy watching him and he was worrying you that he'd break something

Your organization skills make you have a beautiful little apartment. When beomgyu comes over, it looks like a tornado ran through any room he steps foot in. 

You stop him but pulling hi to the couch and laying him over your lap

You calmly run your hands through his hair and massage his scalp a little

You also talk to him and ask him about anything. About work, about his hobbies, and about anything he might want to do the rest of the day

This always makes him feel more calm and on occasion, he falls asleep splayed out across your lap

He loves to take you on dates but there always has to be some kind of compromise

For example: beach trips

He always wants to run off and play in the water and you want to lay on a towel under a big umbrella and read for a while

Of course he respects your choice but at some point, he will beg you with his big puppy eyes to come join him in the water for a little while

You do but you insist on hi staying close incase of anything

Let’s just say some guy tries coming up to you while you’re in the water and beomgyu is swimming further out

Your shyness doesn’t allow you to stand your ground

The guy is harassing you and beomgyu is just noticing

He coes swimming over and immediately stands up and wraps his arms around you

“Who the heck are you? Why are you talking to my girlfriend?”

“Girlfriend? Man, she’s so beautiful. Why are you leaving her alone? Someone could try to snatch her up.”

“Dude, you’re being a creep. If she didn’t yell at you it’s because she’s far too kind and shy. Now go away before I start barking.”

He’s on the premed route so he's getting a bachelors in biochemistry. He drives himself nuts with homework and labs every single day and night. People are surprised that he manages to have both high grades and a very happy girlfriend, you! He always shows up to dates, even if he has to take a break from homework or even if he shows up with dark circles under his eyes. He never leaves you hanging, not his special girl. Your kindness and loyalty is really what pulls him through his difficulties. He is also so grateful that you’ll help him study and listen to him when he needs to talk. His goal is to become a doctor and then give you the lifestyle you deserve, one with nice things and happiness. 

Heesung

Math major (everyone point and laugh…jk i just hate math). He originally just wanted to study math but after becoming a substitute teacher one summer, he decided to add on the teaching part of the program into his program. He is such a sweetheart and loves helping people. He is a little insecure about his abilities sometimes but you're always there to pick him up. He is also a great tutor if you're taking any math lessons. He is the most patient math assistant you will ever come across (plus, for every right answer you get, it's one more kiss he owes you!). When he’s a teacher, he gets so excited when you come to assist with little class parties. It may not be math related but seeing you in his element sparks something inside of him.   

Jay

I hate to say it but jay is so business major coded. His official major is of course business but he chose to have his emphasis in finance, therefore making him a fiance bro. Jay can be a little bit of a dickhead but that is only because he's constantly surrounded by them. You met him when you were visiting your advisor, whose office happened to be in the business building. You ran into Jay, causing him to drop his bag and water bottle. At first, he freaked out but when he pulled his head out of his ass, he realized you were both beautiful and injured. He quickly helped you up and rushed you to the campus health center. Once you were better, he asked you on a date to repay you for being an asshole and it went from there. Even if on occasion he still acts like a meanie, he loves you and wants you to know he never means any ill will. 

Jake

Jake would be the cutest little nerd. He wears these big, square glasses with the thickest lenses. He is constantly pushing them up and looking around at people with his big, shiny puppy eyes. Of course, attendance is so important to him and he knows all of his professors on a first name basis. He studies physics, specifically astrophysics. He’s always so busy with homework and labs so making time to hang out with one another can be a little hard. He always finds little pockets of time for you and he's so sweet to you. He typically greets you with your favorite drink and a kiss. His favorite thing to do is tell you all about his current work and possibly research. You taking interest in him and the things he loves makes him fall even more in love with you. He really enjoys taking you outside at night and telling you more about the astronomy side of things. All the facts about planets, galaxies, stars, solar systems, etc… 

Sunoo

This sweetie is a nursing major. He is so dedicated to his studies because he really wants to help other people and make their days a little bit brighter. The endless amounts of biology and chemistry work leave him bone tired at the end of the day. Most of your dates with sunoo are either quizzing him for his next exam or sitting on the couch while venting about his clinicals or your life happenings. You love buying him cute little scrub tops and even though he can't wear them as a student at clinicals, he makes it his mission to wear them when he officially becomes a nurse. He likely ends up as a pediatric nurse so he drags you stickers shopping with him so he can have little goodies for his patients. 

Niki

The ‘nonchalant outcast’ who studies computer science. He is typically either alone, with his girlfriend, or with his few other friends. He never allows himself much time outside of his studies, mostly so he can lock in, but also because he wants to keep his nonchalant appearance. Due to the nature of his major, he is always stressed out. He is so, secretly, happy to have you because you take so much worry off his shoulders. You're always there when he feels like he is going to break down. You're the only one he trusts to be vulnerable around. He's also the most dripped out comp sci major you've ever seen in your life. You would never guess his major just by looking at him and his fashion choices.

let's you doll him up with cute clothes and ake up whenever you want to. after he started doing his modeling apperances, you asked if it was okay for you to dress him up and do makeup on him. of course he is okay with it and he even let's you take his card to pick clothes for him. when you get him all ready, he shows you his modeling skills in your living room, strutting and all.

yunho

takes you everywhere! when he is on tour or doing other promotions, he collects a list of places he is sure you would love. then, when you two have some time, he books the trip and takes you to all the places he had on his list. of course, he buys you new clothes for the occasion. a funny thing you two do together is buy clothes to fit in with the locals. it's a cute little thing that you two enjoy.

little mr.sweetie pie would do anything you ever asked him. something you speciically asked him to do was shave/wax his under arms. you didn't expect him to actually do it but when he turned up at your house the next day with clean under arms, you were so happy. "i did what you asked me! do you like it? it's sexy huh?"

let's you take care of byeol when his away. his sweet little girl was only even entrusted to his family or friends when he went away on tour. now that you were around, he only ever trusted you to watch over his princess. you sent him daily pictues and he was so grateful to have you watching over his baby. he enjoys you so much, he asks you to be her mama.

even if it makes him a little uncomfrtable, he would grow out his facial hair a bit for you. you showed him a tiktok of him with a beard/moustance filter and you said it made him look sexy. for abount a month, he stopped shaving his face. everyone noticed, especially you. eventually, you noticed he was constantly itchy so you told him to shave it but it was fun while it lasted.

wooyoung

sometimes during your talking stage, you mentioned that long hair on guys was attractive to you. next thing you know, wooyoung started to skip haircuts and his hair was growing long. once it got to his shoulders, he started letting you make tiny braids or a ponytail in his hair. he wants you to think he's attractive.

jongho

does all the handy work around the apartment. since you two started livin together, you hadn't needed to pick up, carry, or fix anything, jongho is always there to fix leaks in the sink, pick up the grocery bags, and reach the cups on the top shelf. he also builds ever piece of furniture that enters your shared space. he never complains either. he's just happy to not see you lifing a finger.

His number one rule is to never let you go anywhere alone.

What I mean by this is that he doesn’t let you walk, take the bus, drive, etc…alone. Especially not if he isn’t busy or has time to escape work and drive you. 

He's not overbearing and will always back off if you tell him you want to be alone for a bit. He respects his baby’sspace. 

Anyways, he's so sexy when he drives.

He does that thing where he drives with one hand and keeps his other hand in yours or on your knee/thigh.

He always drives safely when you're in the car and never shows how angry he is when things happen.

If he gets cut off or something, he is always going to keep those emotions to himself. He doesn't want you to think less of him or be scared to be around him.

He is supposed to be your safe space.

Another way he is protective of you is when you're walking on the street. 

He walks on the outside of the sidewalk, closest to all of the cars.

He also keeps an arm around your waist or over your shoulder. He keeps you close in case he needs to quickly help you move out of the way.

He is also protective in the sense that he never wants you to worry about anything, no matter how much you might protest.

If you go to uni, school is paid for by him. If you have an apartment, he'll ask you to move in so he can pay. 

He never lets you pay for any dates or anything else. All he wants you to use your money for is things you want. 

He just doesn't want you to worry, that's his way of protecting you.

He is also protective when it comes to you around your friends and family.

He just does not want you to get more hurt than you might already be

If he notices a friend is pushing you aside or being unnecessarily rude to you, he tells you about what he is thinking.

He would never force you to drop them but just wants you aware of what he is seeing.

If a family member is being nasty to you? That's it...he draws the line there.

He will step up and say something (if you allow him to of course)

He doesn't agree with families hurting each other.

finally, you were in Japan with riki, visiting his hometown and the bigger cities. He’d been wanting to show you the wonders of Tokyo for a long time so he was very happy to have you here.

All day, you two were in and out of different stores, shopping to your hearts content. Despite your protests, he still picked out all kinds of things for you. Even if you so much as took a glance at something, he was asking a store associate to pack it up for you.

The day was drawing to a close and your last task of the day was an appointment at chrome hearts, Riki’s favorite store. The beans had been on his radar for quite some time and he started to amass a collection when he became an idol. Now, he had to deck you out in his favorite brand so you two could match.

You walk into the store with him, hand in hand, and we’re greeted warmly by a staff member. Quickly, you were measured and your size was given to you for all articles of clothing. Riki’s priority was a chrome hearts ring just for you. He tried to pull you towards the display cases with rings but you were distracted by some hoodies on a different display.

He had a grip on your hand and quickly pulled you a bit but you turned your head to look at him at said, “ちょっとまって！” (wait a minute).

His eyes went wide. You’d never spoken Japanese pasta few words he’d shown you during your time together. They were mostly food words or short phrases to make communication a little easier. This was a whole different domain.

He quickly turned on his heel and walked with you to the hoodie display with not another word. He was just so shocked that you spoke more Japanese than he’d taught you. He didn’t mention anything else while in the store. He made it his priority to get you whatever you wanted, no matter your protests when you saw the prices.

After leaving the store, he finally mentions the incident. “Babe? When did you learn to say that?” He seemed excited to find out.

“Well I figured since I’d be here it would be helpful to know a little. I just watched some YouTube videos.” His heart soared at how considerate you were. Even if he felt soft, he had to keep his nonchalant image.

“That’s cool. I like it. Practice more with me if you want.”

a/n: I hope you enjoy this anonie! I hope this won't be too far from your expectations! I wanted to do something angsty so I hope you’re okay with that <3 Please enjoy and leave more requests as I am on break and have plenty of writing time. 

Your mingi was never late coming home. Even if he had stuff going on with his gang, he was never once last for dinner. Never. So, when he did not show up for dinner today, you started to get really worried. Your mind was riddled with thoughts of him either being hurt or worse…dead. 

The possibility of him dying and you not finding out until later was something you understood. It came with him being gang related. As much as this fact made you upset and sad, you had to accept it if you wanted to stay with Mingi. 

As soon as you realized he was going to be late, you started to blow up his phone. Another thing about Mingi is that he always answered his phone. He never let it ring more than three times when it came to your calls. All else could wait when his girl was calling him. 

When the calls were not going through, all straight to voicemail, you really started to get scared. Tears started to roll down your cheeks because of all of the images going through your head. He could be dead in a ditch somewhere and you wouldn't find out until some news channel reported on it or someone made a social media post about it. You were not ready to let go of your dear boyfriend. 

Since you had no idea where he was or where he could be, you decided to just try to calm down. Besides, what were you to do? Getting too sad or worried would lead you nowhere. Mingi could just be having an off day and that's why he’s late. 

You ate your dinner slowly and watched videos on your phone to hopefully distract yourself. It was starting to work when you heard a sudden knock at the door of your apartment. Quicker than ever, you rushed to the door and looked out of the peephole. Your eyes were met with a battered up Mingi. Even if you couldn't see him in detail quite yet, your heart was broken in half. The door flew open and you quickly pulled him into the living room. 

He hadn’t uttered a single word in fear that you were angry at him. Not only was he late but he was badly beaten. He knew you didn't like either of those things. You on the other hand were in shock. His lips were busted in multiple spots, both his eyes were purple, his face was scratched up, his clothes were torn, he was missing his shoes, and his shirt was bloody. Mingi seemed to be unable to hold the weight of his own body. Nothing would make your heart break more than the sight in front of you. Your big, strong, sturdy boyfriend was reduced to a helpless boy. 

After examining him, you throw yourself into his chest and hold him close, making sure to not hurt any wounds that weren’t visible under his shirt. Mingi took the hint and held you back. Your heart broke even more at his weak grip and the faint beat of his heart. 

Looking up at him after a few moments, you finally speak up, “Mingi? What happened? I was so worried about you, baby.” You spoke to him in a gentle, soft voice. You didn’t want to spook him or worry him but unmasking your true concern. 

He shook his head with shame, “We got caught up in a fight and we were outnumbered. Good thing they stopped when some more backup showed up. They would have killed us for sure.” He let out a little chuckle but when he looked down at you, you weren't laughing at all. You, in fact, started sobbing again. You did not like the thought of mingi dying. 

“That’s not funny, babe. Don’t joke about dying. I seriously thought I'd lost you.” You spoke between loud sobs, wiping your eyes with your sleeves and sniffing like crazy. 

He took the hint and nodded, “I'm sorry, my love. Promise I won’t do that anymore. I swear. Hey, look on the bright side, I'm here and breathing. I’m not going anywhere for a long time. Okay? Please don’t cry anymore.”

He wiped away the remaining tears with his hands, even if they were a little dirty from the scuffle. You didn’t care. His touch was too comforting to care about some silly dirt on his fingers. 

Once you stopped crying, you quickly went to serve him dinner. This confused him but he followed you anyway. He figured you wanted to clean him up first. You insisted he eat first, “Your belly is empty. You won't be able to handle the pain when I disinfect your cuts if you’re not nourished. Eat up, it’s your favorite.” You serve him a plate and he couldn’t be happier. It was, in fact, his favorite food.

would be hesitant at first because he’s very busy most of the time. he feels so guilty he can’t spend a lot of time with your pet. when you first brought home your new pet, a hamster, he was unsure. he’d never had one before so he didn’t know how to take care of one. he was very shy the first time he held the little creature but immediately warmed up. now, whenever he gets home, he checks on your little hammie and makes sure he’s got food and water. (ps: he calls the hamster joongrami)

was sooo shocked when you came home with a tiny bunny in your arms. the poor little thing was so little and it was soaking wet. you assumed someone abounded the poor thing and it was raining outside so you picked them up. seonghwa did not protest and immediately looked up a safe way to warm them up and dry them off. he grabbed a heating pad and put it on a low setting. he set in on top of a blanket on the couch and you set down the bunny. from that day forward, he brings the bunny little treats and plays with them.

so confused. he comes home one random day and finds a small golden retriever puppy on the couch. he noted the small pup was very happy yet calm, wagging its tail while managing to stay in place. he walks up and pet the puppy who nuzzles its little head into his hand. when you walk in from your bedroom he asks you about the origins of the dog. you told him you got him at a rescue shelter because they had a discount. of course he makes sure the little guy had all the good and toys he needed and never one complained for vet bills or taking him in walks.

yeosang (this one is so unserious please hear me out!)

his first though when he walked into the backyard was ‘what the hell is a capybara doing back here?’ he calls you and you come to the yard too, crouching down to pet the big rodent. you’d already formed a connection with it and he seemed to like you back. you explained that a cafe was closing and they needed homes so when you found out, you decided to adopt one. he seemed nervous about the idea at first but you assured him it would be okay. it took some time but he warmed right up the day the big rodent hopped on the couch next to him while he was watching tv.

this man would be so innocent with the new addition. you two already take care of byeol together so what’s another kitty? he figures it would be nice for byeol to have a little sibling to keep them some company when no one is home. He looks so funny holding just a small little creature. She’s almost lost in his broad chest. he coos to her whenever she does anything remotely cute.

he would have never thought he was going to be a father to a baby chick but here he was. you went out one day and when you returned, you had a little box from which chirping can be heard. he questioned it and you told him an older woman gave you the chick which had been born on her farm. of course he was confused as to why you’d accept but he didn’t fight back. he took the little baby chick in his hands and chirped back at it. they seemed to be having a conversation and it warmed your heart. (He does NOTtake your ‘chicken soup’ jokes lightly).

wooyoung

you only went down to the convenience store. that’s it. you were picking up two bottles on soju for your movie night and BAM! You came in with a little black kitten in tow. Wooyoung was so confused. You explained that the kitten started following you on your way to the store and you had also checked for any sign of a mama, which there was none. He agreed that you should take in the kitty, who immediately got cozy with you two. He gives her a bath, which she actually seemed to enjoy. He spoils her with cute collars and tiny kitty dresses and sweaters.

he has no idea why there’s two blue colored birds in your living room. did someone leave them there? he immediately calls you and asks you about it. you happened to be at the pet store, finding feed and other things for them. of course he’s not surprised on your crazy choice but he doesn’t mind the birds. They’re not terribly loud and they’re actually quite cute. He gets attached to them quickly and builds them a huge enclosure in the backyard so they can fly as much as they’d like.

you happened to be at the beach at the same time as him

you went by yourself just to catch a little self-care time. you had a book in your hands and you were laying on your belly on a cute pink towel

jay was with his friends (the rest of enha) and could not take his eyes off of you

he knew it was probably wrong. he couldn't shake the fact that he felt creepy just watching you but you were too pretty to take your eyes off of.

eventually his friends helped him build the courage to go up to you and ask for your number

when he approached you, you could tell he looked a little bit nervous but sure of himself for the most part

you really liked his confidence but it was not obvious at all because of how nervous you looked

he felt bad for making you feel that way but went through with asking for oyu number. the worse you could say was no.

"hi, um, i spotted you a little while ago and couln't help but notice how pretty you are. sorry if that's a little too up front. if i didn't say that I wouldn't have said anything at all." he let's out a shy little chuckle and puts his hand on the back of his neck

you turn to look at him and now you're sitting up, setting your book face down on the towel. "oh thank you. you're quite handsome yourself."

his face and ears went even more red (if it was possible). you? complimenting him? his heart was beating like crazy. "thank you. that's very kind. well um...i kind of wanted to ask for your number. i'm with some friends and if they don't see me ask, they're going to make fun of me."

you smiled and took his phone from him, adding in your number and a cute contact name 'girl from the beach (y/n)'

you couldn't help but notice something was different about him and the guys he appeard to be with. they looked like they did not belong to the general public. you swept that thought to the side and figured that you would find out some other time if your suspicions were correct or not.

That night, once you both were back to where each other you were staying, he sent you a cute, flirty message (with the help of Jake most likely). It said the following: “hey there. this is Jay, I apologize for not even giving you my name before. I hope you got home safely.”

You couldn’t help but gush at how sweet his way of texting was. He truly seemed like a shy little sweetheart.

You two exchanged messages for the better part of the night and into the morning

This routine lasted about two days before he asked you to meet with him again. You and him were still staying at the same beach town so you agree to meet with him.

He picks the meeting spot, which was a cute little cafe with beautiful drinks and pretty pastries. They were all pretty tasty too.

He insists on paying for you and that was the last time you’ve ever paid for something out of your own pocket (to his knowledge at least)

Even after leaving the little seaside town, he had taken such a liking to you that he just would not stop sending you money

God forbid you told him about rent at home or tuition for uni. He would have it all paid up front. No questions about it.

His need to take care of you financially comes from never wanting to see someone so kind and caring as you, struggling

If you were even to struggle with money while he could do something about it, he would probably make himself walk on a tail of hot legos

Nothing would ever stop this man from sending you any amount of money

He loves funding you little shopping trips and makeup hauls

He loves any of your little interests. Do you like to crochet? He’s buying you the finest yarn. Do you like video games? He’s buying you every game you want. Do you like concerts? He’s buying you vip for every show you want to see.

Don’t even mention that you’re going grocery shopping because he’s going to instigate you go to the most high end grocery store and then send you a bunch of money.

After some time, he decided that he wanted to see you again so he buys a plane ticket and heads down to surprise you

He’d missed you so much that he showed up with an endless amount of gifts. Designer clothes, bags, shoes, and jewelry. Nothing you could come up with in your wildest dreams could fathom what he brought you.

Your room is not full of things that you could probably not purchase with then a year of work. Seeing all the bags on the floor makes him feel so happy

Gosh don’t even mention that your parents are around or live near by. Not even your friends

He wants to impress anyone that means anything to you. So, he would buy the most expensive watch for your father and a pricey necklace for your mother.

And for your friends? He would insist on a fancy brunch to meet them. Of course everything would be on his cute little platinum card

He just wants your family and friends to like him and know that he’s got you

Loves to tease you about your little collection. He knows it’s what makes you happy so he doesn’t go in too hard on you. He just likes to see you got pink in the face. His favorite thing is when you’re opening your little blind boxes and you make excited little expressions. He loves filming your unboxing an and keeping them for himself. He watches them back when he misses you. “Babe, those are kids toys!” He says. You glare at him, “quit being mean!”

soobin

Unsure of your little obsession at first but learned to just roll with it. Everytime you go out, you’ve got him looking at those little blind boxes. They make him think of you. When he goes on tour, he always brings back a ton of different blind boxes for you to open, including whichever your favorite ones are. If they make you happy, then he thinks he should support it. “Oh babe, what’s that?” He asks as you open another box, “they’re smiskis! Aren’t they the cutest! And they glow in the dark!”

He is in full support of your little trinket obsession! He loves the way you, once in a while, put them all on your desk and arrange them once again in a different order. Sometimes when you’re doing that, he’ll ask you about them just to hear you ramble on about them. “Oh yeah! And there’s gonna be a new Sonny angel collection soon! I’m excited to see what they’re going to look like.” He nods along as you speak, “that’s exciting! I promise I’ll buy you some boxes so you can get them all. You deserve them.” (Secretly takes some of your little toys and plays with them but we’re not ready for that discussion)

Clueless but supportive nonetheless. You were a little nervous to admit to him that you collect little figures but when you finally tell him, he doesn’t really care. It was a relief to you. Now, he’s on the phone right at the designated time, trying to snag you a labubu. If that doesn’t work after a few tries, he takes you straight to the nearest popmart at the next labubu restock. He’s aware that going through all that trouble for a mere bag charm may seem silly but it’s what makes you happy so it’s worth it. “Oh thank you, baby! Lychee Berry is gonna look so cute on my toe bag!” You hug him and he hugs you back. “Anything for you.”

He wants to start collecting because of you. He does it in a way that’s really lowkey because he’s not sure if you’ll approve of him wanting to follow in your footsteps. When he starts to get random boxes in the mail, you ask him what they are. He always says, “just new gym gear.” You believed him until you found a box of calico critters in his drawer while you were putting away laundry. You ask him about it and he’s folds, admitting he didn’t want you to think he was weird. “Awww kai, you’re so silly. How about we put our families together?” He nods, “okay, but only if they can kiss!”

note: shout out to all my girlies who struggle with mental illness. That shit is so hard and it just gets so debilitating sometimes. Some people think that being depressed means just being sad but it so much deeper. Of course depression is not the only thing out there but that’s just what I’m yapping about. he’s sad that you’re sad. you two are balls of sad together. his head breaks when he sees you crying while curled up in bed. he wants to ask you if you’re okay and if there’s anything he can do to fix things. he wants to ask but he knows that you’re not crying about anything in particular. so, to help, he tries to distract you from what you’re feeling. he’s engage you in a conversation, take you for a drive, take you for a walk in the park, to a cafe, literally anywhere to keep you busy and distracted. He knows distracting is temporary but at least you’re not in pain for those few hours.

soobin

knows he can’t really solve anything so he tries his best to keep you comfortable. when you’re in an episode, he does everything for you. he helps you do personal care stuff and doesn’t ever complain. he cooks for you, cleans up your apartment, etc… something else he does is give you a lot of one on one attention. he asks you what you want or need and pays special attention to you, turning off his phone to not get distracted. he also loves to cheer you up with awful jokes. your laugh means the world to him, especially when he knows you’re struggling.

he struggles the first time he sees you in an episode. you’re usually all over him and suddenly, you’re withdrawing yourself. you don’t text him or call him and it makes him worry a lot. he comes to your house to check on you and sees you reclused in your bedroom, in the dark, watching tv. you eventually explain to him your situation and when the tears come out, he’s immediately your shoulder to cry on. he knows now exactly what to do if you ever stop responding and he takes the responsibility very seriously.

taehyun

he motivates you to try and get out to beat this episode you’re experiencing. much like yeonjun, it breaks him to see you to sad with no solution. so, he takes time to help you get out of your head. he’ll randomly take you out. it’s never anywhere fancy but just somewhere with lots of stimulation. shopping at the mall is his personal favorite of these activities because he loves the look on your face when you’re looking at all the lights around you. he also loves buying you little things that makes you look happy again (bro is whipped. he’s buying you all the labubus/smiskis/sonny angels that you could ever wish for)

huening kai

he’s a sweetheart. when you’re having a depressive episode, he’s always ready to give you what you need. wether it be space or close contact, he’s ready to give it to you. if you’re on medication, he makes sure that you take it every time you’re supposed to, giving you your pill and a little hello kitty cup with water. he knows what you’re experiencing is not easy so he does everything possible to make your life easier. he’ll take care of laundry and dishes and he’ll help remind you to do things like bathe, brush your teeth, etc…it’s easy to forget so he helps you remember.
