okay i’ve got to vent about the nicki minaj situation bc yeah. i used to be a hardcore barb for almost 10 years (2010-2019). and when i say a HARDCORE stan i truly mean it, i had a twitter account dedicated to nicki, she was even following me and often interacted with my tweets when she was online. i was absolutely in love with her and her work. i met my best friend, who’s like family to me, because of her. the pinkprint helped me survive middle school bullying. i followed her through europe when she went on tours. i supported every project, stayed chronically online for her and engaged in petty arguments with people on stan twitter to defend her. i fell out around late 2019 because i felt like most of her lyrics had sounded the same for a while but mostly because she started seeing her current husband, a confirmed rapist. seeing nicki pick up a beef after beef with every young female rapper gives me a huge ick and internalized misogyny vibes. but the beef with megan? it’s been years since i last followed news on nicki, but now i find myself losing my mind every time i see something on here or tiktok. not to mention her twitter omg. it truly feels like i’m witnessing her downfall caused by no one but nicki herself. she’s literally destroying her legacy, a legacy tied to so many memories i made during those 10 years while being her fan, and it just sucksssss. it feels like she no longer has a pr team capable of damage control or persuading her to take a break from social media. she seems to be spiraling with everything she posts. not to mention that ben shapiro tweet, congratulating a white, homophobic supremacist. and the barbz who let her remain in her perfect little bubble, shielding her from any criticism, constructive or otherwise (perhaps out of intimidation – i know, i've been there) and doxing people in the name of what? a millionaire to whom you’re a literal stranger?

2010 Australian Grand Prix - Jenson Button(ft. Robert Kubica & Felipe Massa)

#this was genuinely a race of attrition in the back. 10/24 cars dnfed and i think all but 2 were technical problems #this was a really exciting race tbh i really had no clue what the podium would be #its weird cause i knew seb mark and nando didnt win it but i was so confused how they were gonna lose it? and then it was like OH JENSE OFC #jense was incredible in this race ah what a comeback #everyone thought he made a huge mistake switching to slicks so early on and then it turned out he was the strat goat #and it makes it better cause it wasnt even a call from the team! it was literally his call!!#as we all know hes a god in the wet and it was so admirable and brave of him to make such a bold call for himself and have it work out #the way he has such dominance and performance in wet races(ex canada 2011) is forever so impressive and cool to me #also!!! this race really proves to me why rly i like 2010. really close racing BUT ALSO:#its so sick that both nando and jense won their first/second race with their new team against their teammates who have been there longer #like to have both of them win with the same prestige is so satisying and emotional for me #and god i got flashbacks to aus 2009 seeing him standing on the car. its cool he won melbourne back to back #but also. this post race honestly sucked. bad tv direction bad lighting(not in their control tbf) i felt like they showed nothing well ah :#tho my fav gif is where felipe is standing on his tippy toes and jense bends down sjakjf #jenson button #robert kubica #felipe massa #f1 #formula 1 #2010 australian gp #we do a little bit of f1

Finn wore extensions for s4 and also had a wig on in s1-3, so I’m confused why people think Finn’s current hairstyle is gonna match Mike’s for s5 🤔

#byler #also the picture announcing filming starting was taken like early December during the table read #it wasn’t taken moments before the cameras started rolling or something #i rly don’t care either way #i do get being intrigued based on time jump implications #but finn generally rocks a wig or extensions at least in s4 #so… sorry to ppl that were thinking that was his official cut for the season #if s5 picks up where s4 ended then his hair is just gonna look like that for the first couple eps #then after the time jump it’ll either grow longer or he’ll cut it and it’ll still be in an 80s style #similar to what he rocked in s4 #otherwise that would be kind of a big change over 1 season and I don’t see that happening #it’s likely his hair now is cut in a way that makes extensions/wigs easier to apply if anything #if the s1 cut made a comeback i would be genuinely surprised #but if you’re a supporter I’ll throw in some hope on your behalf 🙏

I have so many thoughts and feelings about Adam.

Specifically his mask. Lute doesn't wear hers off-duty, which makes sense since the exterminations are supposed to be a secret.

But Adam doesn't take his off until it's quite literally shattered, and what's underneath? Just some fucking guy. He's not some divine looking being with spectacular features. He's the most average looking dude ever, the only thing making him stand out being his gold eyes.

I think the mask was a way for him to appear as something more. Someone invincible and important.

He comes off as this narcissistic, arrogant asshole who believes himself above everyone else. But what's his purpose now, really? Technically he's not needed for the exterminations and Sera treats him like an unwanted pet you're forced to take care of.

He tries so hard to appear important, brags about former glory and holding onto self made titles. It's like he's constantly trying to convince himself that he still matters, cause if he can make himself believe it, maybe everyone else will believe it too.

In the end I think it all comes down to this... Adam is afraid of becoming irrelevant.
