anyways, on to the stats!

general stats:

total episode count: 251, spread over 22 seasons.

there have been 8 main cast / intrepid heroes seasons, that make up 147 of the 251 episodes, or 58.5% of the total count. if we include oneshots in this count, the count goes up to 151 of 251, for 60.1%.

total runtime: 541:54:53. that's 3 weeks, 1 day, 13 hours, 54 minutes and 53 seconds of dimension 20.

average runtime: 2:09:32. the median is 2:08:32, which i thought was funny. the episode that's closest to the average, with 2:09:33, is 'the house always wins' from a starstruck odyssey.

some more recent updates: never stop blowing up has the third-shortest average (1:49:18), following fantasy high (1:39:43) and coffin run (1:43:16).

nsbu is the shortest of the 10-episode seasons, with a total runtime of 18:12:59. compare that to the longest 10-episode season, the seven, with a runtime of 23:55:12.

for mismag, this is our first sidequest sequel season. aabria is the first guest dm to get a sequel season of her own (matt is a little diff by virtue of brennan running acoc). it's the first KOB sequel season as well--that speaks well for d20 expanding their game systems.

mechanically, they're now using a version of nsbu called never stop making magic, so i'll be tracking stat explosions this season as well. i do think d20 is leaning towards expanding the systems they use, so we'll see how they continue to expand going forward.

it's also the first odd-numbered sidequest season, with 11 episodes. by december 5, we'll have had 16 episodes in the world of mismag, which is just under a main cast season.

player stats:

aabria's back in the dome for her 7th season, and 4th as the game master! with an 11 ep season she's up to 59 episodes, and remains the most common guest on d20. at this point she's the second in-house dm. she has the Q4 10-ep season on lock. the first sidequest sequel season is hers.

brennan is up to 21 seasons and 257 episodes (including time quangle and mismag ii). he now has 2 seasons on the right, evening his split out a little bit (3:2)

lou has dethroned ally and taken the top player spot, with 12 season and 187 episodes. he has a new fave seat, with 4 seasons in L1 as well as R3.

erika isn't far behind aabria, with 47 episodes and 6 seasons. they're split between L3 and R2 (2 each)

danielle's joining the ranks of what i consider the recurring guest cast, with 3 seasons and 22 episodes under her belt. she's behind rekha and izzy (tied with 36), erika, and aabria.

production notes:

in terms of production, the release of the time quangle episodes puts us at 45-46 episodes for 2024, depending on when the december releases start. this also sets us at a total of 268 episodes by the end of 2024.

if we include all of the adventuring parties, adventuring academies and various other d20 auxiliary content, 2024 might take the cake for the most total episodes, dethroning 2021.

i'm guessing that this was the first season filmed after brennan's parental leave, so they're probably still 6 months to a year ahead of the releases

production calendar is looking like main cast season in Q1-Q2, varying number of sidequests/oneshots through Q2 and Q3, with aabria/another guest dm in Q3-Q4. depending on when aabria's season starts, they may start the intrepid heroes' season in Q4 going into the following year. general disclaimer that this is just a guess.

Well, it's been done.

The first addition to my UCN roster is Nightmare Chica! Why did I do her first? Because I rolled a random number! She was given number 53, and that's what I rolled, thus she has been drawn first. Counting DeeDee, Fredbear, and all the hidden characters, there are 58 animatronics in custom night.

The next drawing I post will either be another UCN character, one of the Animal crossing characters on my island, or Applejack! Who knows what I'll do at this point lol. Also, the original four band members from Fredbear's, also counting as the withereds and nightmares in my au, are more realistically colored. Chica especially. Also also, I decided to keep the tips and tears, big sharp teeth and claws motif the fnaf 4 animatronics had, since it's sort of on par to what a child would find scary. She also gets to be huge cuz why not!

"I'm mostly sober- let me drive you home sweet thing," Peter muttered, and you couldn't help but giggle at his words. "Mostly sober." It would be fine- he had only had a little bit to drink. Your vision was- really blurry and it felt amazing. You felt amazing. You felt warm- you felt a little tingle on your cheeks, growing warm. Peter grabbed his keys and paid his tab- also paying your tab. it didn't bother you- you were too shitfaced to really care about most right now. Standing up, it felt like your legs had betrayed you. you wobbled around- creating a laugh from Peter as he wrapped an arm around the back of your waist, stabilizing you.

He put you in the passenger seat of his car, buckling your seat belt with a small giggle as he stared at you. There was very obviously- romantic tension between you two.

He clicked the keys in, and as you heard the car start and felt it begin to move you felt more slumped and tired by the second. Ugh. You would have a hangover in the morning, at least you didn't have much to do tomorrow anyway.

Closing your eyes before you felt a callused palm reach for your thigh, softly rubbing his thumb over the skin of your thigh. It tickled a little, or maybe you were just drunk. It felt comfortable- he was quite warm.

Taking a deep breath, you try to compose yourself. You debate whether to quietly slip away unnoticed or to put on a brave face and mingle as if nothing's wrong. Just then, Peter's eyes flick open and lock with yours across the room. His expression shifts to one of surprise as he pulls away from the woman with a smile on his face- to see you.

Why are you this jealous? You guys- aren't even anything. God damn it.

Tears well up in your eyes as the reality of the situation hits you. You shouldn't feel this way - after all, you and Peter are just friends. But the ache in your chest is undeniable. Blinking rapidly to hold back the tears, you turn and make your way through the crowd towards the exit.

People give rude glances to you as you wander off.

As you push past people, you hear a familiar voice calling your name. Footsteps approach from behind, and suddenly Peter is there, his hand on your shoulder.

"Hey, what's wrong? Where are you going?" he asks, concern evident in his deep voice. It's that same stupid silky voice from before. You know you shouldn't be mad, but you can't fucking help it.

You freeze, torn between the desire to run and the need to face him. Slowly, you turn around, struggling to keep your composure.

"I... I'm fine," you manage to say, your voice wavering. "I just.. Feel sick. I'm going home.“

you and felix had met through a mutual friend and had gotten along well, after quickly catching feelings you both decide to go on a date together. no first date could be perfect… right?

"7:53 am" were the numbers displayed on your phone, you tried your best to get some more sleep before getting ready for your date with felix, but you were just too excited! you two had met through chan and immediately hit off, you had both quickly caught feelings for one another and that's how you ended up here.

you sat at your bed for a bit watching random videos to entertain yourself before finally getting up from your bed to get ready. while washing your face all you could think about was the date, just the thought of felix was driving you crazy. "what's wrong with me" you mumbled but you couldn't help but smile even more when you got a text from him.

you immediately put your toothbrush down to respond to him, it felt like being a teenager all over again.

you finally finished getting ready, and waited for felix to tell you when he arrived. you both planned to have brunch together and then head out to the amusement park. a bright smile appeared on your face when you saw felix's contact pop up, answering the call you were met with his usual cheerful tone "hey yn!" "hi lix, are you here?" "yeah I just entered your complex, come out whenever your ready" you quickly put on your shoes and raced over to the elevator. you got off at the ground floor and walked over to entrance where you were met with a very smiley felix. he quickly got out of his seat to open the door for you.

"oh wow what a gentleman" you said "only for you" he said winking "that was so gross" "your gonna have to deal with it all day" he said, getting back into his seat and starting the car "it is too late to stand you up?" you jokingly asked "how could you ever stand a perfect man like me" he frowned "we both know I'm only doing this for the free food" "hey i'll do anything if it means that i can spend time with you" "shut up let's just go" you said trying to get him not to see how red your face was, he let out a fit of giggles while starting to drive to the cafe

when felix was planning out the date he was sure to look through the details, ensuring the two of your had a perfect date. 'what would be cuter than going to the cafe you two had first met at' he thought, but what he had failed to realize was that hyunjin, jisung, seungmin, and jeongin worked there. so when entering the cafe he immediately had four pairs of eyes staring at your both.

"felix! yn! what are you two doing here?" jisung said lifting his eyebrows, all the boys had known of felix's crush on you and were not afraid to make very obvious remarks about it to you. "oh...hey guys" felix said mentally facepalming, how could he forget his friends worked here! "hi!!" you said greeting them, you assumed felix didn't tell anyone about the date yet.

"we were just hungry" felix responded, he knew his friends would start a nagging him with questions if he had mentioned the date

"hmm.. okay" mumbled jeongin while passing by the two of your to hand a customer their order. the both of you decided it would be best to eat on your way to the park in order to maximize your time there

the start of the car ride was pretty quiet, many thoughts were intruding your mind 'why did felix not tell them about the date? there's probably a reason for it...right? i'm just overthinking it, it was probably just to-' "hey you okay?" asked felix, moving his hand to rest it on yours "yeah, of course" you said with a small smile to make his worry go away. "okay...but if anything is wrong let me know. i really wanna make this work" he said gesturing to the both of you. your cheeks quickly flushed pink, felix always knew what to say to make someone feel better

you dismissed the previous thoughts that were in your head, and chatted to felix about your new hobby. every word you said made his smile grow larger and larger, he could listen to your voice all day

finally the both of you had arrived at the amusement park, getting out of the car the two of you walked towards the entrance. felix put his hand out towards you, "hold my hand so you don't get lost, okay?" you chuckled and took his hand "you sure that wasn't an excuse to hold my hand" "maybe it was" he answered with a small smirk

after getting your tickets and entering the park, you were immediately welcomed with hundreds of people walking around. "..ah, i must've forgotten how busy it is on the weekend" felix said apologetically "it's fine, we can still have a good time! let's go check out the rides" you both headed toward the different attractions and decided to start with slower rides and work your way up to the scarier ones. "we gotta to to the carousel first" he said pulling your hand in the direction of it. there were many children lined up, so the two of you definitely stood out. some of the parents liked at you a bit strangely, but you just shrugged it off. "c'mon, let's go on those horses!" felix said pulling you. it made you smile knowing how excited he was to go on this date with you. "I haven't gone on one of these since elementary school" you said laughing "this is one of the best rides here! i can't believe you" the ride was filled with laughs and random bicker between the two of you. after it was over you both headed to some other rides. the both of you had gone on the teacups, the ship, etc (i don't know that many rides TT) but after a while you two had reached the area where there were 'skill games', of course all of them were rigged in some way, but you two decided to waste your money anyway. you had never seen felix so determined in your whole life, hell you didn't know if you had seen anyone that determined. you had just pointed out how you had found one of the plushies adorable and felix raced to the stand, quickly handing the money to the person at the stand, and using all his might to knock over all the blocks on the stand. "felix this is your third time" you said laughing at his behavior "just watch i'll get it for you this time!" "keep telling yourself that lix"

surprisingly he was able to get a prize in the end, you tried to take it from him but he pulled it away. "if you want it you're gonna have to give me a kiss" he smiled, pointing at his cheek. you moved you face towards him and started to place your lips on his cheek, but last minute he turned his head and your lips were on felix's. you stumbled back surprised from the contact, felix just giggling in response. you took the stuffed animal out of his hand and used it so cover your red face.

felix took your hand and walked you around the park before finally finding a bench to sit down on. the sun was starting to set and it made you realize how much time you had spent with him "i really enjoyed today" you mumbled "i did too" he responded laying his head on yours and putting his arm around your waist. "so I'll take it as you like me too?" you whisper "no actually don't like you, that's why i decided to come in a date with you" you playfully shoved him in reponse. "hey i was just joking! i clearly like you, i wouldn't have brought you here otherwise" "you're such a sweetheart lixie" the two of you sat together for a bit just enjoying each other's company. as the sun set you and felix decided to go on one last thing before leaving, the ferris wheel. hand in hand the two of you approached the line and it was a bit long, though time passed by quickly as you and felix talked about classes, friends, and really anything that crossed your minds. eventually the two of you had gotten to the front of the line and walked through the tiny gate, felix quickly got on and offered a hand to you so you could get on safely. as the door to the pod closed you could feel yourself starting to move up. looking at the view and then turning to see felix, the man that you clicked with immediately, the one who was always so caring, the one who never failed to make you feel better, that was who was with you. you couldn't have been any happier. "thank you felix, today was perfect" you said, fidgeting with your fingers. "i should be thanking you, i haven't had this much fun on a date in a while! if you think this is perfect, just wait until our second date" you could feel yourself heating up and your heart's beat getting faster, so you did was seemed right. you leaned over to felix, getting closer second by second before your lips finally collided. the feeling of his soft plush lips against yours was everything you could've wished for and more. you could've stayed like that forever, but unfortunately you needed oxygen. breaking from the kiss you looked at felix, he had a blank face for a second before showing you the biggest smile you've ever seen, it must've been contagious because you couldn't stop yourself from doing the same.

you both exited the ride after going around a couple times. "i'm getting pretty tired" you yawned "yeah it's pretty late, let's head back" he said taking you hand in his to guide you towards the park exit. you walked over to his car and once again he made sure to open your door for you. you sat together listening to some relaxing music and just making small comments here and there, after a long day it was nice to just relax in each other's company.

eventually you had reached your apartment complex, "i'm kinda sad today's over" you frowned. "hey don't frown, we'll have another date soon, promise" you smiled at felix's kind words. "i'm glad, i can't even explain how amazing today was! you just made my entire year" "well don't go saying that now, i'm sure you'll enjoy the day i ask you to be my girlfriend much more than today" he smirked "gosh felix you're such a flirt" you said lightly shoving him "though i really should be going now" you said. you quickly moved your lips onto his and gave him a small peck. before he could process it you started leaving and let out a small "see you soon!" while giggling, after a second felix started to laugh as well and yelled "i'll get you back next time pretty!"

What better way to spend the night with a group of rowdy boys than to play truth or dare? Your friend was invited over to Jake’s, but thankfully, you knew most of the boys prior to classes. Jungwon and Niki had grown on you the most since your personalities clicked best, but you couldn’t help think how cute Jungwon was, especially when his dimples came out. 

“Truth or dare Hoon?” Your friend asked as she giggled, making him blush slightly.

“Dare,” Sunghoon challenged, seeming confident until he heard the dare.

“I dare you to go out and get the number of a random girl on the street. You have 15 minutes,” Your friend said as the group erupted into laughter.

“15 minutes? How can I? Wow, that’s a rude dare,” Sunghoon stood up, putting his coat on, “I’ll be back in 10,” He smirked before running out the door.

“Okay, let’s continue since it may be a second before he comes back. Jungwon, truth or dare?” Your friend asked, everyone focusing on him.

“Uh, truth?” Jungwon said hesitantly. He wasn’t really into the whole truth or dare game since depending on the person, the questions or dares could be outrageous. 

“Do you like someone here? If so, who?” The question lingered as it made it a bit obvious the answer was indeed yes, but he wasn’t comfortable confessing just yet.

You noticed how uncomfortable he became as you moved towards him, “Hey, it’s okay. You don’t have to-”

You were cut off before you could finish by Jungwon standing up and leaving the house. There was a lot of confusion in the room as Heeseung stood up, “I’ll go talk to him.”

You followed, putting a hand on Heeseung’s arm to stop him, “I’ll go,” With that, you grabbed your coat, leaving the house to follow Jungwon. It didn’t take long for you to catch up to him, grabbing onto his arm, only for him to pull it away. 

“Put your coat on. It’s wintertime and you’ll get sick. We don’t have to talk about what just happened, but you do need to be smart at least,” You said, realizing how embarrassed he was, and you knew why.

For a while now, Jungwon had a crush on you and you knew about it. Niki had accidentally told you while studying and somehow you weren’t surprised, but you were filled with joy since you liked him back. 

Jungwon took the coat, putting it on, while fidgeting with his fingers, “Sorry about just running out of there like that. I just don’t really like those games,” He trailed off. You grabbed his arm, pulling him towards a bench for the two of you to sit on.

You smiled at him as he avoided your gaze, “I like you too, just so you know.”

His eyes went wide as his mouth dropped a bit, now turning towards you, “How did you-”

“Niki, being Niki, let it slip during a study session, and I’m honest happy he did,” You took his cold hand into your warm ones, “Or else I would never had the courage to confess myself.”

His cute dimples came out as a smile crept onto his face, “Well, I guess since the cats out of the bag, I really like you as well.”

“What are you doing next weekend?” You asked, standing up and pulling him with you as he almost stumbled into you. The two of you giggled at his clumsy actions.

“Nothing, what’s up?” Jungwon asked, hands still connected.

“Good because you’re taking me on our first date then,” You cheerfully smiled and the two of you walked back to the apartment, “I like Italian food, so you know.”

“I’ll take note of that. I’ll take note of all the little things about you so I can make sure to keep that pretty smile of yours on your face at all times,” He winked, making you blush from his sweet comment.

It’s not even 10am, but this might be contender for Pose Of The Day:

Had another good night, not so much in the crate, and did come and chill on my legs for a while. I decided on balance to allow him sleeping with me. I like good boundaries, especially with a boy who will be as big as him, but his chemical stress level is incredible and I thought skin-skin contact might help while we try and get some of the cortisol and its cascading effects out of his system.

I show you the nice bits, but in addition to his ‘object impermanence’ with people, he’s very PTSD-twitchy - shouts if so much as a seagull passes over his head when he’s in the garden, his paranoia means he sees things that aren’t there - not just looking at noises but will become convinced he sees something on a spot of the carpet until we or he dispels it, and his zoomies clearly leave him out of all control. And his stomach’s not great, drinking excessively, and his breathing rate while sleeping has been obscene. I can really see why our vet friend called the emergency on him, the stress chemicals are clearly an actual danger. A good sleep-breathing rate can be 20-45. His slowest sleep breathing rate yesterday was 62 breaths per minute. His fastest? 190. Yes, I repeated the counts. No, it wasn’t after exercise. He was like that for about 20 minutes. It was so fast I couldn’t even say the numbers in my head, just had to do 1-10 and mark on my fingers. If I didn’t know the likely reason plus know his crate trauma wouldn’t cope with being in the emergency vets if they wanted to keep him, I’d have called. I don’t know how this little puppy body copes.

But he’s doing better today so far. We’re a bit calmer - not perfect but calmer. My random sleep-breathing polling is getting an average of about 53 which is much better. Hopefully it’s a case of just letting all the chemicals be processed, and keeping him as stable and routined as possible. But I do think we’re going to probably keep him now. I don’t think he’ll cope with another move, and assuming the worst of current behaviours (and the risk that ‘solved’ ones turn up again around the 8 month and 2 year mark as early-life trauma things often do as the brain rewires), he needs people who have experience with altering their environment and entire existence for the dog, not just assuming they can alter the dog to their environment and existence. Not that I don’t hope for the best. “Puppy brains are very elastic” wars with “Early trauma can be permanent”.

But yeah. That’s what we’re thinking anyway. At least we’d understand getting a rescue puppy will actually mean getting the worst elements of both of those words lol. (And he is still the cutest little button, when he’s not hyperactive and sinking his shark-like baby teeth into the soft bit of your arm).
