i feel as if im going mad so im going to just put this out here. real quick. movieunleashers starters ramble.

i cant stop thinking about how mudkip broke down in that one scene in "Typomaniac," when Chespin called him mean. for a second he lets his mask slip a little bit and to me he just... acts his age. he starts crying and calls chespin mean back. maybe im just hyperfocusing on this one detail but mudkip is about 12 years old.

and that just makes me wonder what happened in this guys life that brought him to where he is now. and it makes it all the more tragic how his whole world revolves around chespin, but he is the one bringing him the most pain. and how young he was when he died.

there is a large theme of growing up in "Rare Candy." the characters ages are emphasized in that particular episode, and one of the main conflicts is fennekin wanting to evolve faster.

the thing about characters in these stories is that they're not allowed to just be kids, to have a childhood. so many bad things happen to them. like. mudkips whole, Everything. fennekin when she was famous in typomaniac, or dealing with her own insecurities/pressure from society about her relationship w chespin. and chespin always having to shoulder his friends problems & always somehow managing to stay positive despite everything.

why cant they just. play video games. eat ice cream or something. go to the movies

at the end of the day, i think both mudkip and fennekin are characters who grew up too fast. by distancing himself from them, chespin refused to follow in their footsteps and just wanted to stay a kid.

Witchy AU - Our muses are Witches/Wizards; Scenario A) Taking place in an era where witchcraft is persecuted, our muses are in hiding from the community at large, but one muse refuses to stop using their magic to help others | Scenario B) Modern setting in which Witchcraft is a normal practice, even if not everyone possesses the gift (maybe one muse is magical and the other isn't?)

Vampire AU - Our muses are longtime friends, but little does one know, the other is a Vampire. Could be in a more modern setting or in an older era; Maybe one is a Vampire hunter? Lots of room for interesting stuff to happen!

Killer AU - Our muses share something in common: They're both victims of a serial killer's abduction. They work together to escape!

Lights Out - Regular setting; Our muses are minding their own business when suddenly, the lights go out; Alternatively, there's a raging storm outside that and our muses huddle by candlelight. In both scenarios does something nefarious begin to brew just beyond their inner circle: Could be a creature or regular person posing as a threat!

Haunted - Regular setting; Our muses visit someplace outside of their norm: A mountain lodge, A hotel, Air bnb, etc, but something strange is going on. There seems to be... a haunting ?! (Whether it's true or not, is up to the plot~)

Cursed AU - One of our muses becomes cursed due to whatever reason (object, person, etc); The curse can be a multitude of things: Transformative (muse gets turned into a werewolf, or a regular cat, or the opposite sex, etc), Health related (muse is slowly dying and it's a race to break the curse), or other physical alteration (muse is rendered mute, muse is made blind, etc).

yinyue is the rover from the upcoming game wuthering waves. because the game is unreleased and still in closed beta, information on her is limited and constantly changing. the way i write yinyue would be majorly headcanon based. she's amnesiac and do not remember who she is. she's searching for fragments of her memories.

i'm experimenting & developing her muse as i go along, so her portrayal will be subjected to change. please understand and expect inconsistence and shifts in her lore and personality as i establish her muse and core.

When thinking of witchcraft, some see candles, fire pits and women dancing in the pale moonlight. In some cases there are brooms and wands, fancy hats and a black cat. They are believed to move in the shadows, hide in the woods and curse whoever they please. Honestly? That's partly right. At least that’s what Zeev would say. He never owned a cat and he hates hats with a passion — but he indeed has an entire storage room full of candles and sorts, and once or twice he had danced under the moonlight. Never naked though is what he’d always claim. 

However, in his particular case, he prefers the sunlight. The broad and warm daylight of summer hours, the golden rays reflecting on smooth surfaces like natural lakes and polished furniture, breaking into colourful rainbows whenever it hits crystals and rain. Sunlight was magic itself, turning his surroundings into glistening gold — the most valuable of all hues. Priceless in every sense imaginable. Worship is too active of a word and the sun isn’t able to react in any way, most likely she doesn’t care either. She’s a star, the most important for his life on earth. Essentially for all beings. Yet, worshipping is the closest noun one could use to describe his relationship with her. She’s the warmth and the protection, offers the light to see, the aspiration to be and the strength to create. She’s everything.

But as he moved in pain, the sun was nowhere to be seen. The sky grey and unruly, shielding her from a sight he himself would like not to witness. He choked out a breath, fighting for air burning his throat. After regaining his sight, he noticed immediately that he wasn’t at his home anymore. A part of the woods he couldn’t remember or was too dizzy to recognize. As the exhaustion and adrenaline dropped, the pain became easier to localise. Excruciating headache and cuts burning like purgatory on the inside of his palms. Sitting back on his heels, he stared at the blood sticking to his fingers and the dirt dangerously close to the wound. The bloodied tear wasn’t what unsettled him, but his forgetfulness.

Had he experienced another blackout?

His head snapped to the side when he heard the rustling of leaves, a frame unsheathed from the shadows. With narrowed golden eyes and dishevelled hair he tried to make out the figure. Was it a witness, a client or a victim even? Had he offered his services and it backfired? Zeev hated his lack of memory severely.

Still, he loathed his bedraggled appearance more. 

“Show yourself”, he demanded breathlessly, his strength insignificantly returning.
