You're right Anon, I haven't lost anyone. And I hope to whatever god is listening that I never do. But don't act like I wasn't impacted by the Shadow Sky. Or by anything that Victoria Gonzap has done. I was out there during the Shadow Sky, saving people. But it still wasn't enough. People died and it was my goddamn fault. I saw people die in front of me. Crushed under falling rubble, melting in the rain, and a thousand other horrible, terrible ways to die. You wanna know what I think to myself when I go to sleep every night? I think I could have done better. That I didn't do enough. That I should never have listened when they told me to go inside or get some rest. That every single death during that horrid, horrid rain is my fault because I couldn't be there. And then when I go to sleep, if I go to sleep, I have nightmares about the Shadow Sky. About watching people die and not being able to do anything to help.

I'm sorry about your family, Anon. I'm sorry I wasn't there to save them. They're gone because I wasn't there. They're gone and its my fault.

And you're right. Victoria Gonzap is a loathesome, vile, disgusting person who deserves nothing but malice. I'm not going to defend her, I never have and I never will. I hate her with every fibre of my body. But I still treat her like a person. Her path's set, we're gonna be enemies until the day we die. The least I can do is show her some basic human decency. You'd be surprised just how receptive people are to not being treated like garbage.

So yeah, sure, keep flinging insults at her and filling her askbox with malice. You are well within your right to do so. But its not gonna do anything. Vic isn't gonna suddenly realize what she did is wrong because some random person on the internet told her something she's heard a thousand times before. And she's not gonna keel over dead because of insult number 5 million. Maybe its theraputic for you or makes you feel better but me personally, it just takes way too much energy to be hateful and spiteful towards somebody all the time.

PS. Just block her and anybody associated with her, dude. You're losing more than you're gaining by continuing to see her posts.

It annoys me to no end when I see big sweeping statements about 'all' autistic people. Like, no we're not a monolith, my symptoms aren't someone else's symptoms, and vice-versa . Like for a some personal example, 'all autistic people are good at math', super untrue for me. I have a math disorder, my brain just isn't able to understand beyond the most basic math, it's all just strings of numbers and symbols to me and none of it forms into anything I can understand, like I was never able to figure out division and to this day cannot do it without a calculator, to put that into perspective. But like, it's the same shit as when a doctor won't diagnose someone because they can hold a conversation or keep eye contact, there's no Always for these things.

Yan! Sugar Daddy who found out you were still just a college student who was most likely to be struggling with financial issues, or so he assumed from how most of the students there were.

Yan! Sugar Daddy who took his time bonding with you before subtly offering an arrangement with you, a mutual arrangement of a sugar relationship. Instead of sex, fancy dates, or a plus one to those higher-ups events, he wanted your company all the time if he could.

You were wary and hesitant but his silver-tongued nature convinced you that this would change your life for the better.

While you were inexperienced in most of it, Yulian made sure to make you feel comfortable about it and him. The weekly allowance and PPM were enough to make you never lift a single finger to work anymore.

The more you spent time with him, the less it felt like an arrangement. It felt like a man treating you with utmost respect while spoiling you with luxuries you would never imagine to have.

But with such great benefits came a great price. You noticed that you had been seeing your friends less because of the attention you had on him.

You noticed the higher-ups never stopped sneering at you for being a commoner or his pet whenever you attended the fancy events with him as his plus one.

You noticed how you had almost less to none freedom, always heavily guarded by what seemed to be his bodyguards. Who was he and why did you even need this sort of protection?

One day you decided to trick his bodyguards with your flat-out white lies so that they'd leave you alone. They did not expect someone like you to ever lie and put them at risk so they left you alone.

All you did was wander around in awe, checking the grand balcony to go to the washroom as normal people would.

Yan! Sugar Daddy who was seething in rage when the bodyguards came to him, tricked by your childish lie. But there was no way something bad would happen with this slight mistake right? You were not his spouse by any means.

But oh did everyone know you were someone he fancied for the first time in his whole life. Part of his brain just tried to look at this mistake in a bright light and it backfired.

Yan! Sugar Daddy who had to be endlessly teased by his great-for-nothing cartel friend. He had to endure the stress of losing you and the risk of not being able to take you back.

It's not like the Drug Lord couldn't help him, it was simply humiliating for him to endanger you by not keeping a close eye on you.

Yan! Sugar Daddy who could track you down in less than a week and ordered a mass slaughter on the faction that imprisoned you. You were not wounded terribly but a wound was still a wound.

Yan! Sugar Daddy was just a confidant to the Drug Lord and an infamous lawyer. You only knew he was a lawyer but never the lurking threat of his other occupation. No wonder he was always wary of his surroundings.

How could someone from such a cold underground world have the heart to fall in love with you? That was what you thought when you woke up to his concerned face.

Weeks passed and it didn't take him so long to propose to you, for you to become his spouse.

"I truly love you, dear. I have never even once seen our arrangement as something strictly business instead." He showed you a velvety box with a diamond ring in it. "I admit, it was not the best approach but I thought I could work my way into your heart while profiting you with all the benefits and luxuries you could have from me."

He swallowed the lump in his throat, "I wanted you to see how capable I am."

Something told you that nothing good would come out of your refusal. And instead, logic swarm into your brain. You had been in an arrangement with him for almost a year already and had never even once felt any hardships.

He was nice to you, downright kind and loving even. He cared for you deeply and wouldn't hurt you in any way. It was your fault that you broke free from the barrier of protection he granted you.

With great fame and luxuries, came all sorts of threats. He wasn't disloyal like those higher-ups. He didn't belittle you like others would. He loved you.

Even if you didn't love him, you knew how great it felt to be loved by him. There was not a single loss from this arrangement which was a marriage, right?

simon who gets into a fight with you, all messy and angry, lots of yelling at each other, and ends with him just slamming the door to your shared bedroom, not wanting to escalate it further and just... cool off.

he hears the cries and sobs from the other room, your mouth babbling something he couldn't quite understand between the sobs and the sniffling. he was upset, you were the one being dumb and was yelling at him and he didn't want to hurt you further. it's not his fault... right?

simon spends some time thinking about it, on the bed with a scowl on his face. he couldn't even hear your crying anymore, you'd probably gotten hungry or thirsty and just left. the silence was a little unnerving, and it's not like it'll end if the two of you kept being so persistent, so he figured out he should just apologize and take it from there, regardless if it was his fault or not.

though as he was about to go look for you, his nose was hit with a familiar scent... instant noodles?

not surprised, you probably were so upset you wanted to eat something too.

he made his way to the kitchen, not going to lie the scent made his mouth water too. he knew how much you liked it, and he loves whatever you like too.

in the middle of the kitchen, you stood in front of the stove, the smell of instant noodles wafting through the entire house. you looked... tired. and small, hunched over the pan just looking at the food as it cooks.

simon didn't really care if you'd claw his eyes out for this, but he reached out, leaning over your shoulder, his arms around your waist.

"smells good... share wit' me."

you didn't respond, still a little upset that he just acted as if everything was fine, but you didn't push him away, not even noticing that there's a small smile on your face. you took the pan off the stove, placing it on a kitchen rag on the dinner table, and handed him a fork. lord knows he can't use a chopsticks.

as the two of you ate together out of the pan, the two of you started to talk again, continuing the fight earlier, though calmer and sprinkled with a few jokes here and there. regardless of who was at fault, the two of you apologized, and you admitted that you'd decided to make the noodles because it would lure him out of the room. simon pouted, knowing that he couldn't resist it when you cooked anything and some good snack every once in a while.

as upset as he was that the two of you fought, you think that he's more upset that you lured him with instant ramen like some dog.
