Ben laughed as the fox made a series of squeaks that sounded almost like it was giggling, almost stumbling as it batted their occasionally unsteady beanpole legs but managing to stay upright. They watched as the creature studied the menu, still amazed that this little beast seemed to be so much more than what it seemed – able to read and understand the English language as if human, so much intelligence in its golden eyes. When it pointed with its paws to its two desired items, the teen pursed their lips and met the fox’s gaze as it turned to them.

“You sure?” They snorted as the fox booped their jaw, its fur tickling their skin. “Okay, okay. You just wait here then. Don’t know if they allow pets. Or weird stray wild animals.”

They entered the restaurant and approached the counter, removing their sunglasses and hood as they grew nearer. Behind the register was a lovely Asian woman with hair styled in a way that made it look like horns. Ben gave her a polite smile and greeting, that she returned, before they ordered for the fox and themself. The woman typed it all into the register and gave them the total which they paid without complaint, placing the change and an extra twenty in the nearby tip jar. They weren’t sure but they thought that brought a surprised look and small smile to the cashier’s face. The teen didn’t bring attention to it, simply moving to the collection area.

The woman gave their order to the kitchen and Ben watched as the chefs began to cook it. The pair in the back were fast, moving together like they were dancing in perfect synchronisation. The teen wasn’t sure if it was just the steam or they were hallucinating again, but at one point it definitely looked like one of the men was blowing smoke out of his nose – almost like a dragon. The restaurant name was on brand then, or maybe their imagination was running with that imagery.

After what felt like no time at all their food was ready. Ben approached the counter, mouth watering a little at the delicious smell, and lifted the bag containing their meals with their good hand. They gave their thanks to the hostess, the woman giving them a nod and a wave goodbye, before they turned and left. As they reached the entryway they looked down at the fox with a smile, putting their sunglasses back on and pulling their hood up once more.

“Come on, let’s go find a place to eat.”

Ben started back down the street towards their original destination, arriving at the park pretty quickly. Perhaps their rumbling stomach had made their feet move faster. They scanned the area and found a nice spot under a large willow tree. The curved branches would provide shade from the high noon sun, as well as shielding them from any CCTV cameras that might be pointed in that direction whilst they ate. They led the way over, pulling the branches aside for the fox before letting the curtain fall back into place. The black haired teen dropped their duffel bag and backpack down before taking a seat against the trunk of the tree. They exhaled and relaxed their shoulders as they removed and pocketed their sunglasses so they could see better, reaching to untie the bag from the restaurant.

They lifted out the fox’s first, opening the container and placing the side that contained the gyozas on the grass. Using a napkin, they wiped the condensation from the other side before they placed it next to the other one and poured the water into it, so the creature had a makeshift bowl to drink brow. It might have been able to use its paws to eat a burger, but they figured a bottle would be a little trickier.

“One gyoza and a water.”

With the fox set up they reached for their own, lifting the larger container and cutlery out of the bag. They’d ordered a large mixed meat ramen bowl. It had noodles and broth of course, but also had a selection of chicken and beef and pork, and was topped with a hard boiled egg and green onions. They figured even if they didn’t eat it all (which they definitely wouldn’t), it would keep and be their dinner for that night – and likely their lunch for the next day too. Steam wafted off the dish as they popped off the lid, the smell intoxicating. They hadn’t had something this rich in a while, sticking to snacks and fast food lately. Eating like this still felt so off and so wrong, but they were trying to get over that. Baby steps.

“Well,” they said to their furry friend as they separated their chopsticks and shifted the utensils into a proper hold, “Bon appétite.”

Orianna laughed and batted at the kid’s leg. She’d meant them specifically but she wouldn’t turn down a free meal. Hopefully the high pitched squeaks that made up the laughing noises foxes made would make the kid laugh too.

She followed the kid in and sat as they crouched down. Looking over the menu, she noticed you could get ten pieces of gyoza as an entree. As a fox, she didn’t need to eat as much to be full. The gyoza would do her, and maybe some water.

Orianna pointed at the items gently, and then turned back to the kid. She gently booped their jaw with her nose to say please and thank you.

The first character I first fell in love with: Nick 'cause he's such a Golden Retriver! <3

The character I never expected to love as much as I do now: Isaac. Isaac is my king of kings. He's so unbothered by anyone and everyone AND the only one who ACTUALLy knows what goes on through people's heads and personal lives but keeps to himself all those secrets because he's a sweetheart, respectful, and unproblematic. <3

The character everyone else loves that I don’t: Tao. Listen. This man gave me anxiety. Like, yes, he's been a supportive friend to Charlie but he could also try not being such a helicopter dad all the time. Like maybe Charlie would have told him about Nick sooner because of it!

The character I love that everyone else hates: Imogen. I know some people don't like her but my girl got rejected and took it like a champ. And then Nick sort of came out to her and she kept it to herself. AND when Nick and Charlie held hands at the end and she saw that there was something there SHE SUPPORTED THEM. NO DRAMA.

The character I used to love but don’t any longer: Darcy. XD I say this but like they still have a place in my heart. I think the more I rewatch, the more I'm like "Darcy, bestie, do your homework PUH-LEASE" 'cause admitted to not even wanting to do it one time and I'm pretty sure Tara offered to have her copy her work.

The character I would totally smooch: At their age, I would have totally smooched Nick. Yes. 100% Like he's just such a nice guy and genuinely someone I would get along with. I wish more people were as nice as Nick.

The character I’d want to be like: Although I think I'm like Charlie (anxiety and too kind to people I shouldn't be), I want to be more like Elle. She's just so comfortable in her own skin and once she stepped into her own, literally nothing and no one could stop her. And she's always there for her friends, which I always am too but I love that about her. <3

The character I’d slap: Harry for being a homophobe but Ben Hope comes close second for making Charlie feel less than.

I think it’s finally time to share my wild ASOIF headcanons/crack theories here (I’ve literally had these for years, but they’re all a little outlandish, and at the time the fandom was more active and I really didn’t feel like having them made a thing but...)

After her mother caught Cersei and Jamie together, Cersei did something to her mother (as revenge, or to try and keep Joanna indisposed long enough to delay Cersei and Jamie’s separation) which caused or contributed to Joanna’s death. Or alternatively, whatever Cersei did had no connection to Joanna dying, but to Cersie’s childish logic, mistakenly seemed like the result of her meddling. Either way, Cersei’s hatred of Tyrion stems from her need to have someone else to blame (unlike Jamie, who doesn’t bear Tyrion any ill will). Her sense of guilt may even have helped her rationalize killing Melara Heatherspoon (i.e. “I’ve already done it once, it’s not that hard, I’ve already got blood on my hands,” etc) At this point she’s blamed Tyrion so loudly and for so long she may actually believe her own lies.

Everybody thinks Coldhands is Benjen but I am 100% convinced he’s The Last Hero and I will not be dissuaded

Summerhall was obvs, an attempt to hatch dragon eggs. And a weird sounding approach to hatching them at that (no one will talk about it, Jenny of Oldstones and her pet witch were there, it was important that a bunch of family be there including a very pregnant woman, there seems to have definitely been fire magic involved, etc.) but specifically to hatch them through some kind of connection to Rhaella and unborn baby Rhaegar. My gut says either to sacrifice Rhaegar (and possibly Rhaella) to equal out the rebirth of the dragons (not very nice, but hey) to somehow bring Rhaegar into the world as a dragon (also not great) or to somehow bond in blood a connection between one of the dragon eggs and Rhaegar in the hopes of sustaining the dragon through a sort of shared life force. Despite so much of the family being there my focus centers on Rhaegar because a. it’s treated as important that Rhaegar was born at Summerhall and that his mother went into labor on site/delivered him as it was burning b. Rhaegar felt a connection and a seeming guilt about the place and c. because of my other wild ass theory:

Valyrians are genetically part dragon. Probably through some kind of magical genetic manipulation (rather than somehow, actually breeding) which allowed them their bond with the creatures, their powerful magical abilities, and (at least for Daenerys, but possibly for other Valyrians in the past) heat/fire resistance. The Targyarens being the only surviving family of Valyrians would limit the pool of Valyrian traits passed down of course, and the severe inbreeding practiced would have narrowed it still further, to the point, where I think, these draconic genetics have occasionally showed up. The description of Rhaego being born deformed and with draconic features seems exaggerated, but echoes descriptions of other very inbred “malformed” Targyaren miscarriages (Rhaenyra) who are mentioned as having tails, scales, etc. The Rhaego case in particular, is interesting. I’ve seen so many people claim it wasn’t magic that killed him, that he was just too inbred to survive, which seems unlikely since it’s made clear it had been a healthy pregnancy and a live baby up until Daenerys enters the tent and immediately begins labor-- unlike, say King Tut’s children, all of whom died before reaching full term-- and it’s clear Daenerys and Mirri Maz Durr both consider the baby’s death as a result of the magic-- Daenerys accusing Mirri of taking her son’s life as payment, Mirri telling her she “knew” what she was bargaining with. But I’m super curious if the dragon-like features were something brought out by his exposure to the magic, or if they were already present beforehand. (Which ties back to the idea of the possibility of giving birth to a dragon, which is barely a tissue of an idea, but still...)

Other people have floated the theory that the Ghost of High Heart and the witch who died at Summerhall are in fact, the same person, and I’m a definite proponent of that

Everyone thinks Rhaegar’s choosing Lyanna as Queen of Love and Beauty was the first sign of his eventual affair-- I am absolutely convinced that had nothing to do with it, that Rhaegar knew she was the Knight of the Laughing Tree and the true champion of the tournament and awarded her the roses as acknowledgement, giving her the closest thing to the tournament prize she deserved that he could, that whatever followed was not the motivation for that, at least.

And finally on the Rhaegar/Lyanna bent everyone always asks, but the kingdom was in turmoil, Lyanna’s family was dying, why did she and Rhaegar not tell anyone where they were??? It seems like a common sense answer to me that they did, but that it didn’t get to anyone-- probably because someone made sure that it didn’t. (And this is where you can tell it’s been a long time since I read the books because part of this theory is my conviction that somehow Bloodraven was responsible for that-- and the strength of feeling is still there but I don’t remember any actual reason I came to that conclusion??)

I think about this alot (horror games are my fave even if 80% of them suck ass). Some characters feel like they need to be in psychological horror and others feel like they need to be in survival horror. Sometimes both.

Bruce reads as a survival horror protag and im NOT going to cheap out and say its bc hes a loner yadda yadda its cause hes so eager to protect people and give second chances hes the one that would want to help someone infected find a cure hes the one that would inevitably risk his and others safety to protect One person he simply does not believe in the idea of sacrificing One person for the betterment of others. Hes someone who is quick witted and good at improvising in dangerous situations and good at knowing when he is completely out of his league. U can throw him in group survival-esque stories (typical zombie horror games like l4/d, the show From, etc etc) and hed fit right in bc his whole thing is taking in people Like Him and protecting them at all costs, including the cost of his own life if need be. Hes never the loner he wants people to believe he is bc he cares too much about Every life.

Clark reads as a isolated survival horror protag bc, while he is someone who works well with others, he obv defaults to depending on only himself and hiding from others. Someone who would break away and find his own answers and possibly get himself killed in the process. Dead/space has a man respond to a distress call BY HIMSELF bc that call came from his (what he knew but didnt want to believe) dead wife. Hes someone who makes himself as small as possible to deceive others, and believes in his own mind, strength and cunning to outsmart literally Anyone- hed be the most susceptible to running off alone and getting himself stuck as much as i love him. Think of like. Alien. The Thing. Dead Space. Outlast (tentatively). Real tangible threats but no one can help bc everyone you know is tearing at each others throats like savages. Its very fun to think about how someones positive traits can circle back to being extreme negatives when put into dire situations.

Other stuff i wanna yell about (bruce) and putting behind a readmore to protect ur dash

Bruce ALSO fits in psychological horror really well, its just that survival horror fits him Better i think. His biggest weakness besides his family is his own mind, and he is afraid of having it tampered with at all (who isnt ?). He has an iron grip on his bodily control and when it slips even a little it frazzles him. Silent hill is a given for this kind of thing but theres some really good indie games i think works well for him. Mirror layers is a fave of mine- mixes in the unreality with puzzles and arg style detective work where u work with other people who are also trapped. Yes theres a beast chasing me but dont worry about that, what im concerned w is that my house is suddenly in purgatory and OTHER people need my help as much as i need theirs to get out. Cool as shit. Fits perfectly w the theme of Bruce problem solving his way out of threats instead of just punching their faces in. Funny enough this is also something i think Clark would fit in nicely.

Flapping arms to the side means they're uncomfortable and/or scared

Flapping arms upwards is a sign of happines

Acci uses sound and smell to know where it's going

Everyone has taken therapy and while it's helped a little obv it didn't magically fucking cure them

Ben often makes dolls that look like the creatures in the mansion and use them to make fun of others

Two is a nervous wreck and just listens to whatever One and Three have to say but when One and Three argue, he just malfunctions

Three is the most normal of the trio and often leader like

The 3s are all capable of laying eggs but choose not to

Hooky has a tounge and teeth, they're made of felt but still feel and act like real teeth and a tounge

Frenzy and Charles used to work as caretakers for the husks

GLA thought they weren't good enough and experimented on them

Frenzy's weapon is the same one she used to try and fend back against GLA

Charles doesn't feel extreme discomfort or pain anymore (or atleast not all the time)

Frenzy mostly tries to keep the peace and make everyone happy but that doesn't work most of the time

Frenzy actually feels pretty soft

Charles usually does reconstruction at the dollhouse as he's the tallest and can reach far away and tall places

Husker mostly spends it's days ignoring everyone and watching TV or reading

It's very emotionally detached from everyone, no matter how much everyone tries to be nice it just would rather die alone

Well.. actually they don't mind the demon child but that's about it

Clicky is still very good at using a gun

She's begun to learn how to use other weapons

She actually doesn't care that her parents were awful, she's not sad and doesn't mind talking about it. Hell she acts like it's a funny story

She loves pissing off Husker

Husker can escape it's husk, although it feels weird to do so but it seems happier being free

Husker only returns when they're tired and just doesn't feel like it

Husker, even in their husk, is still rather strong

Their spirit is a tall, light skinned turkish 15 year old

Just like with the demon child, it stopped aging randomly

Husker sometimes goes to talk to the demon child, they seem to get along very well (not in a shipping way ew)

The demon child is only scared of Eyth out of all the hospital monsters

Her favorites are Jon and Bekka

She also finds comfort in Lisa because of how motherly she is

Sometimes she'll leave the mirror but is afraid to leave the hospital without either Jon, Bekka, Lisa or Husker

She doesn't think Taker is a bad guy at all, but still is afraid

She hates Spooky and thinks he's the reason for all of this, which, if you think about it, eh kinda

Some of the others call her Lilly and she's accepted the name (Spooper was the one to come up with her name)

Despite how mean and harsh Kat can be, Lilly thinks nyan's nice and cute

Fleshy likes to babysit her and usually causes mischief with her

As does Taker

Bekka has other outfits (in black)

Ben doesn't know why he became a puppet or why he's had evil tendencies to attack people and turn kids into dolls

Bab and Ben came from the same town

It was Bab's ritual magic that made him like this

Bab doesn't know that though

Ben does feel bad for the children

He's constantly reminded with Tirsiak's existence

Tirsiak has barely forgiven Ben, he just makes small talk at best

and then !!! taeyong went on tour as he normally did and some crazed fan managed to grab his face at the airport and kiss him,, however,, while trying to get her off, he grabbed her face and angles made it look as though he was secretly kissing this girl and the rest of nct 127 were trying to cover it up

so taeyong spent the whole of the flight home crying bc he gets really insecure and he’s sure that you’ll leave him at any opportunity and then when the flight lands he goes to get off and is all miserable and pouty and you just run up to him and jump on him and kiss him so much and he’s like

“i’m sorry, y/n, there was nothing, i’m sorry”

and your like “stfu ik bitch did you see that kiss?? dry as shit, this is a kiss”

then the next day the headlines were all about you two and not the other girl and taeyong just felt so much love because he slowly began to realise you did that to distract from the kiss before the flight ㅠㅠ he loves you sm

so taeil had a hard day of vocal exercises bc he’s been instructed to do this part for the upcoming song but it’s higher than he’s ever sung before so it’s very strenuous on his voice :(

and at sm they made him do vocal warm ups while doing stomach cruches so he’s in dOUBLE PAIN and he kinda believes that he’s getting a cold so overall, just not a nice day

and then he returns home and you’re just singing in the living room, jumping around, you guys’ dog on the sofa, watching you with his wagging tail and taeil nearly bursts into tears bc he’s just so relieved at the happiness and homeliness pouring out from you and he just wants to come home to this every single day of his life :,)

so johnny was chilling with his morning coffee, sat in the garden looking at the sky and the birds and it was just chill and then he heard a slight singing voice and he was like ‘hello??? wtf was that??’ and upon creeping upstairs he realised it was you singing an early morning song to your twins🥺

and johnny honestly felt tears leave his eyes, he just felt so blessed in that moment to be able to have a family like this and he just knew he wanted to give you his last name because ohmygod he’s never been this in love before !!

okay so yuta was obviously sososososO happy with everything going on in korea,, but he couldn’t help but feel homesick because he hadn’t been to japan in so long,, but he didn’t want to let anyone know that so he just kept pushing on :(and you watched him get more and more unlike yuta until one day he came home and looked himself in you guys’ room and you could just hear him sobbing down the phone to either his friends or his family back in japan and it broke your heart :(

so with jungwoo it was all kinda rushed,, like you’d only be dating for about 10 months-year?? but due to circumstances you’d been living together since before you were a couple,, so you were already very close basically best friends to lovers tbh

and one day he can hear you on the phone to your friend it’s on speaker and your friend is gushing about her new baby and you’re just being like ‘oh congratulations!!’ but jungwoo swears he hears a slight sadness in your voice :(

so when you get off this phonecall you immediately call someone else it’s your bestfriend,, the one of the same gender and you just say ‘is it weird to want a baby’ and your friend kinda laughs and is like ‘who gave you baby fever’ and you just sigh and are like ‘i can’t help but want so much more with jungwoo but i feel awkward talking about it’ and your friend’s like ‘stfu why’ but it’s because it’s all going so fast!!! just over a year ago you didn’t even think of him romantically and now you wanted to marry him and have his babies??!!??

but jungwoo was crying outside your door bc,, he wanted all that as well :,) so as soon as you hung up he walked in your room and cuddled you close and was like ‘i promise we’ll get married and have babies,, that’s what i want too!!’ and you just started crying bc oml your boyfriend is so precious

and basically her vision was all of her bridesmaids having also white dresses but with a different colour sash round the middle so you got to try on a load of dresses that were actually wedding dresses but they were more lowkey and after signing this thing you were allowed to take photos so she could look at them afterwards and decide which one was best

so you came home and jaehyun was there and you were like ‘oh jae !! look at me in these dresses’ and jaehyun was like ‘kk’ and came over and looked over at your phone and it just took him a moment bc omg,, you look so beautiful in a wedding dress

and ur like ‘what?? that’s good right???’ and jaehyun’s like ‘yeah.. yes,, that’s......... that’s fucking amazing omg’ and he cant stop smiling and there right then is when he decides that he has to marry you!!

so mark took you to canada to stay with his family over christmas and you’d met his family like a handful of times before?? but you’d never stayed with them for this long but as soon as mark asked you were 100% up for it

and so at this point you’d been there for a couple of days and mark’s brother is talking to him about you as mark dried his hair and literally all he’s saying is how amazing you are and mark’s kinda blushing, kinda smiling,, he’s just so happy!!! and then, when thinking over his brother’s words, he went downstairs and found you in the kitchen with his mum, dancing around as you cooked dinner for everyone and mark could’ve cried tbh

he saw his dad walk over to his mum and pull her into a kiss and mark tried to move but like, literally could not,, but luckily !! you saw him lol and was like ‘come here’ and mark was laughing and walked over, kissing you as he mumbled a quick ‘i love you’ and jesus christ he really did

Shot story / dream.

Before I went to bed I had watched "Enola Holmes" on netflix and also a documentary about triplets separated at birth. And my brain did a really cool mashup. So I dreamt about this sort of... big complicated spy plot? Where one girl (it was me and not me at the same time) were investigating where her twin sister had gone. And she met a boy at the way of her investigating. And they fell in love while doing this search, they talked to and met up with professors and teachers and stuff. Also running from the "bad guys" who were trying to capture her. The thing was, that she and her sister had "special powers". She could like slow time? for short amounts? Or more like having super good reflexes so she could fight really well. Do these amazing jumps and balancing acts. And her sister was much weaker than her physically she had a power to "dream" about real life places and she and her sister could explore these places like they were real. (She could bring other people in to the dream) and when you woke up you would be back in your bed. This had made the two of them the "best spies ever" And they were working for the government or something similar. But now that her sister had disappeared she was suspicious about this government or organization or whatever. Some clues pointed to it being an inside job. And eventually she found this big place like a prison. But it labeled itself as a school? All of the girls were being trained in disguise, social shit and logical puzzles and stuff. And the boys were being trained just to be strong and fit. And I think all of them had some sort of small power of sorts? No power were like "I shoot fireballs!" it was more like things that were hard to explain but might be natural or... something? And so she found her sister there, but she was so weak she were just staying in this room in bed. It was like she had gotten weaker being away from her sister. Then, PLOT TWIST. The guy she had been with this whole time who she thought was just this random cool dude, was actually working for this organization. Not only that. But he had a twin too. I don't remember why this was clever tho. But something about them switching places and being able to be at two places at the same time and stuff like that. I had flashbacks where she would realize it was one or the other of them. 

This whole time the clues and things she found out had made her think that this organization had formed their “school” out of the dynamic she and her sister had. One really smart and clever one and one who was more fitted for fighting and action. (tho she obvs was clever too just not AS clever.) But it turned out that they had plans bigger than this. The twin boys were actually the "golden pair" they were PERFECT. Both could do action and had skills and cleverness. They had tried to kidnap the girls to train them to be as good as the boys and then have them couple up as a four-man operation. They had just realized that it was too hard to capture her bc of her powers, without it being a big scene somewhere. So they decided to just take one sister and basically hope that she would find her way to the location , but without actually knowing what was going on being mislead by the boys.  The school and how they trained the girls and the boys were just due to sexist stereotypes. The twin girls dynamic had nothing much to do with it. They might've inspired the scientist who came up with the plan but... it wasn't the reason they had wanted to kidnap them.

Now with this betrayal from the boys and everything a big fight ensued. One of the twin boys were actually in love with her and switched when he realized he couldn’t go through with this. He got hurt but retreated to where her sister was sleeping to help her escape.  She was stuck in this epic fight with the other twin. Who were much more cold and psychopathic for some reason. Typical “evil twin” plot haha. 

She managed to flee or subdue the guy, and joined up with the "good" twin brother and her sister. And they fled. They found some place to hide out and her sister did her dream thing for them to find out more. The twin brother twin sister project was a side project. The real big thing was this training school they had going. Were they were trying to "make" super spies. Making them pair up eventually. Not like romantic couples. But you got the feeling that they might've planned for people to actually fall in love and maybe have children.... so they could take those children eventually. But if this was a real plan it wasn't mentioned to anyone. Just that it was almost encouraged to date people from the "other" training camp. (Boys / Girls ) I remember a small sideplot about this big muscular dude who was gay and felt pressured to date a girl “just because” and how sad it was for both of them.  They clearly didn’t care about anything other than straight.  It was very cult-ish and strict in the school other than they were allowed to date.

But it went even deeper than that. They were also trying to "enhance" the natural powers of people. And sometimes it went wrong... They had this theory of everyone having a "true nature" and that it was from there the powers came. Like someone being a supernatural good swimmer had a "true nature" of being a fish or something. More of a soul / feelings thing I think. Not like otherkin but like... a natural aptitude?  But this feeling and state of being could take over and and change people.... horribly. So we found out about this one scandinavian girl (this all took place in the uk) that they had kidnapped bc she had powers. And she had turned in to this mermaid creature thing that needed blood to survive. She wasn't like, a conscious human anymore. But she could understand humans somewhat. She also laid a lot of eggs and it was super nasty bc they had unborn babies in them. (dunnu how the fuck that happened but..... ) And they had to keep killing off these creatures before they hatched. But they also wanted to study them. So she was mostly just laying in this pool of blood with weird wines coming out from under her, like she was this mix of different sea-creatures. Half of this information was found out by the dream snooping and half was talking to one of the doctors / scientists that were just like "I'm trying my best to treat these kids. Obvs I can’t expose the organization I work here, I think my time is best spent on trying to help these kids. " I was like... mmm I'm not sure but ok. And then he told me the bad news. He said "You know how your sister has been being weaker and weaker? Well... She's actually turning in to one of these beings. Her "true nature" is a sort of moth. She will be sleepier and sleepier until she becomes her "true nature" and then she will be lost forever. " Obviously this wasn't very nice to hear. But he promised to take care of her best he could if I brought her there, without the organization knowing. Bc her powers were sought after. So I / we did. Cause we didn’t know any other option. Also, I would totally kill the guy if I found out he was lying.  Then I set out to "destroy" this organization. Now I was working with the "good twin" like before but I didn't really trust him so he was mostly in the background doing small work. The organization was trying stuff with hypnotics and mind control. On the kids and on the public. They for one thing had this ad out for a big event they were going to have at disneyland? "Become a real princess"??-kind of thing. It was marketed as this event and club submission were they would choose "the best" out of all the people to take in to the club. It was really just a way to get as many people gathered at one spot so they could mind control them to be ok if their children were ever taken by the organization in the future. The princess stuff was like a plus for them, getting to maybe find some more subjects for the "school" they had since they had a shortage of girls. And I was working against the clock. I had infiltrated the "school" and had gathered some of the more critical students in a small club of sorts. The mind control was very prevalent in the school. They didn't want people to question why they were learning or doing these things. They certainly didn't want their full grown super-spies to think too much about what they were doing eventually either. But this small group of students wasn't effected by the hypnotic mind control shit, and they were questioning things. So I made some sort of plan (I think I drifted out and in of sleep some here, or I just wasn't interested in that part) and it was about to be carried out. But surprise surprise! The evil twin brother found out about it and epic fight scene ensued! I remember how weird it felt fighting someone I loved, and how alien it was like... he looked like him... but he wasn't him. And he almost defeated me but ofc.... his brother came to my rescue. And so they fought while I was trying to continue with the plan. (Pretty beaten up) I just remember going up and down these cold stone stairs in the castle (school/prison) and seeing in the distance the lightshow that was being done at the "princess" event. (I guess it was really close to disneyland haha) We shot something at the place like a laser or something? To shut down the tv-screen central thing that was doing the hypnotic stuff. And the event continued like planned but without the hypnotic thing happening to the public. Which they "the bad guys" didn't know about until it was over. We couldn't save the people who willingly had entered in to the "club" however. But we planned on rescuing everyone eventually. Shutting down the school. So it was a good win anyways. I returned to my sister to tell her the good news. But the doctor warned me that it wasn't looking good. He showed me to a barn outside of the sciency-building. And a small ladder lead up to a small attic space. It was light and the small dust particles made everything look weirdly glowy and fuzzy. My sister sat in the far end corner of the small space surrounded by big moths flying everywhere. It was creepy and beautiful at the same time. She had this cocoon like thing around her, looking very sleepy. But smiling at me. There were silk threads all over the place. She was soon going to cocoon herself in this silk thread completely. What she would turn in to... no one knew.

After that the dream basically ended. Or rather, it flowed in to another dream that had nothing to do with this plot.

hunter x hunter thotz so far

soooo ruth and i started watching hunter x hunter woohoo finally! we’re like 10 or so eps in so i decided to collect some thots below on what i think so far (i havent rlly been spoiled so im interested to look back on this once ive watched more)

first off i love gon sm, hes immediately so endearing...hes just a baby!!!! just a little baby boy!!!! hes just so cute and good, im so not ready for him to get put thru the wringer later on as ive vaguely heard happens

the first few episodes were really fast paced which i enjoyed and thought was for the best. the characters came thru really strongly and i feel like we heard juuuust enough about the setting, premise, and what a hunter is 

i wasnt expecting leorio and kurapika to show up in the FIRST EP lmao that surprised me. i love so much how the three of them like IMMEDIATELY became a family unit in like 3 eps lmaoooo it was like ok here are 2 parents and their son bam. also leorio and kurapika having a showdown on the boat (which didnt end up happening) was a wild ride 

i have like zero fucking idea what a hunter is and the more they attempt to explain the more confused i get. its honestly kind of hilarious how little sense it makes. to be clear this doesnt detract from my enjoyment of the show at all (if anything it adds to it)

oh my god fuckgin hisoka is the worst he hasnt done much but i hate him so much already. good villain writing/design so far, hes so hateable

ruth every time hisoka shows up: WE HATE UR PUSSY BIIIITCH 

the character design in this show is....a lot lmao. ruth and i decided its a cross between soul eater, jojo, and one piece in terms of aesthetic. the designs are certainly unique and so many of them are just so ugly hvbjafdbdskgs it reminds me of that post thats like ‘masterpost of jojo characters who look busted as shit’ lmao

i already love this show a lot tbh like the way its structured so far has been kinda atypical for a shounen, at least in terms of fights - we really havent seen a lot of fighting yet. also nen hasnt shown up yet and its reminding me of stands not becoming a thing in jojo until p3 lmao 

anyways in litrally ep1 i already loved the 3 main characters we saw...leorio is a wild dude, i love him sm, especially as a fellow medical binch who wants MONEY. like, thats literally me. and kurapika is also wild, like damn they rlly just dropped their backstory in ep 1 huh. like we rlly are jumping right into this 

also when leorio said he was a teenager i was like WHAT???? just like evryone else which YEA omfg. i cant believe hes that young lmao. kurapika too

so leorio is one of those 19 yr olds who looks 40 and kurapika is the type of teen who looks like a 12 yr old

and KILLUA i love him sm also....hes an adorable assassin catboy and hes perfect. i love how quickly he and gon hit it off (tiny bfs.....) and how hes just like, this extra as hell 12 yr old with a SKATEBOARD and ASSASSIN SKILLS and then he sees gon and is like guess im gonna fall in love 

i gotta talk abt gon again i just love him. hes so polite and cute and kind and good, i just love him...wht a good protag. his motivation is just wild too, hes like well my dad abandoned me to go off and be a hunter (which he isnt even mad abt, what a nice lad) so im gonna do that to see what the deal is

i love how gon (just like the audience) doesnt really know what a hunter does/is and just goes into the exam totally blind lmao. also the fact that his skills seem to include jumping good, being speedy, having the energy typical of a 12 yr old, being a weather sniffer, being nice, and having good instincts/constitution as a result of having eaten random grass and forest shit growing up...amazing. 

is this gonna turn out to be one of those things where its like, wow theyve been using nen this whole time without realizing! tht would honestly explain a lot lmao 

i really enjoy how like....semi-normal the power levels are rn? while also being all over the place and wack as fucks obvs (like hisoka dissolving that guys arms in his first appearance was A Lot, as well as all the card stuff hes done..). like the part wher that blue guys (evil franky one piece) punches the ground and it leaves a crater and everyones like !!!! wow wtf thats unnatural! that literally threw me off bc that kinda thing is so normal in anime lmaoooo. but i like that thats the starting point bc it leaves a lot of room for power escalation w/out it getting too out of hand 

specifially our protags are starting out pretty low on the Shounen Badass scale - especially gon (and leorio, tho i kinda predict he wont be as fight-y? what with him being premed)

i find it kinda hilarious how killua hasnt done too much (aside from murdering those 2 randos in like half a second) despite being so clearly skilled...like when they have to do the 5v5 fight thing in the tower, i wouldve thought hed be the first up cause hes so badass but nope

actually thats what i find interesting - i was expecting all 5 (or maybe 4, we’re in the middle of leorio’s ‘fight’) of the fights to be physical smackdowns but so far nope, theyve been very cerebral. that bodes well, w/how smart the fights have been, bc i doubt the fights will get stale tht way 

tho they might be kinda frustrating sometimes - there are times when u DO just wanna see a good ole fashioned shounen beatdown yknow. but we do get enough of that now (and im sure we’ll get plenty more) to satisfy (like kurapika decking fake-franky) 

oh also the opening. its so charming and cute and i love the song...its also so hilariously basic and classic - like one of those typical 2000s anime openings where theres stock run cycles of all the main characters and theres a little animation of all the characters fighting together (and that fight doesnt actually happen, its just for the op) 

also love that leorios the only one who doesnt fight in the OP, instead getting saved from death by gon lmao. im curious if he’ll end up fighting at all (i assume a little?) and if he’ll use nen (probably healing type nen?) 

also i already wanna fistfight ging for abandoning his perfect angel son. also leorio is literally gons dad already, they even look alike wow 

that guy hanzo has done basically 0 things so far but i rlly like him already, im curious if thatll change. also sorry for calling u ‘hanzo overwatch!?!?!?!’ upon first viewing my guy

i found it interesting that leorio didnt really admit to wanting to be a dr at first...hes such a good dude, he kinda just let kurapika think that his motives were superficial and greedy when in actuality theyre selfless

also wanting to be rich can be a rlly interesting character motivation and i love when its done right

oh my god i cant believe it took me this long to mention the hilariously edge ED....like holy shit, its so 2000s, the song sounds like its been re-recorded like 40000 times bc of how bad the audio quality is, or something, idk how to describe music but its hilariously specific in tone and its rlly funny to see shots of the main characters smiling while this screamo whatever plays in the bg....wow. 

also s/o to killua for being king of edgy with that ‘tear of blood’ shot

i rlly like how much of the plot, especially the early hunter exam stuff, is moved along simply by gon being a good kind polite boy. 

love the fact that he and leorio and kurapika (and later killua) all team up without even saying anything...i love that, most shounen would have them be like ‘che, i cant team up with anyone, i have to prove myself ALONE or my victory wont be EARNED’ or w/e idk. who knows that might happen later but rn i love how they all effortlessly work together (and how they all contribute - without each other they would have all failed at different points) 

oh man also killuas first appearence was so funny when he drank a bunch of tonpas poisoned drinks and was like [smirks] tch, loser, im immune to poison. get dunked on. [skateboard away] i love him so fuckgin much

hisoka is also so fuckign jojo like he could so easily be in jojo. he and dio would be the fakest best friends ever and would constantly try to kill each other on the lowdown and shittalk each other constantly in private but be super sweet to each others faces. also they would hatefuck. no im not taking criticism bye 

i rlly love everyones backstories also, and i find it interesting that weve gotten to hear/see at least some of all 4 of the MCs backstories. theyre all compelling and interesting and i cant wait to dive in further 

also calling it now but kurapika is totally gonna get way too absorbed in revenge and get fucked up/disregard their own life (maybe in the style of robin in one piece?) we’ll see but i feel like it aint gonna end well. i could be wrong, i really havent been spoiled at all, thats just my guess

also i had no idea the ep titles were formatted like that w/the x’s and thats rlly funny 

ok but the part where leorio - who seems to be pretty bad at fighting - tries to fight hisoka - whose literal first appearence involved him effortlessly dissolving a dudes arms - is so fucking funny. leorio rlly b a premed w/no brain cells....same bro. 

also i loved the Cutthroat Kitchen portion of the hunter exam and how not a single contestant was any good at it lmaoooo. do they not have the cooking channel in hxh-verse earth 

ok i love how the main characters are all intuitive in different ways depending on their own skills, like how killua can immediately guess that kurapika has never killed anyone before after they didnt kill evil-franky

kurapika joined killua in the Edgy Corner during that part also. like, they both have legit reasons to be edgy, but the shots of kurapika sitting in the darker tunnel part was kinda funny

also killua, a literal 12 yr old, calling out kurapika for being a murder virgin was pretty hilarious 

ok also i didnt know that madhouse animated hxh which is rlly funny but w/e i love the animation especially the occasional chibi parts and the facial expressions (like killuas ‘i love murder’ catboy expressions) 

oh also when killua murdered those 2 guys and his hand was all vein-y and his nails were pointy, his hands looked like hisokas do...i wonder if thats a legit connection or it hisoka just b getting his nails did 

kurapika talking abt how even seeing a regular spider makes them rlly angry was both very sad and kinda funny. kura u have so many issues god bless 

kurapikas smackdown on evil blue franky was fuckin dope tho. and the red eyes reveal was SPOICY 

rlly love how the individual fights highlights the characters strengths/morals/motivations/whatever....the writing is already really strong tbh

basically i love this series so far and im rlly curious whatll happen next. also everything seems pretty chill and upbeat so far (relatively) and i know this shit gets dark and im NOT FUCKING READY.

alright obvious spoilers not that it matters bc i have one follower lmao but !! i need somewhere to scream abt this movie

first of all i love jacob and newt so much. best parts of this movie honestly i love them and i want them to be happy 

but to be fair i actually rlly rlly enjoyed watching this movie!! like,, there are a looot of things i dont understand about it and i have no idea how they happened or why theyre happening but thats Okay i would still recommend everyone watch it! its so good!!!

good things:

- grindelwald !! i mean,, no hes not a good thing but i really liked how they wrote his character. like i can UNDERSTAND the power he has over people and how hes manipulating them. hes really not just a Voldemort 2.0 and i respect that a lot bc thats not what an entirely different villain should be like. but casting issues and all aside i really liked this

- i also liked the interaction between leta lestrange and dumbledore that was some good stuff and the actors were rlly good too !!! - i like the direction queenie is going in. i mean i dont actually of course but it seems realistic and i think its important and its good character development n stuff so hhh hope that works out later tho !! i am Suspense

- jacob walked into that movie and i was like !!!!!!!!! :DDDDDDDDDDDDD i love him so much and it was rlly nice to see him back even if i dont think it was that neat to have him lose his memory of everything that happened for significance and in this movie have everything go like WHOOMP hes back but i uhhhh loved it anyway so this is not a complaint its a good thing - i still loved newt and having a good main character makes the whole movie a better watch in general. ive seen sequels where i just Cant get attatched to the new characters but wow i didnt really have much of a problem with that here

- ive seen different opinions on this but??? what was that blood pact????? what are u doing??????????????? i cant even be coherent properly so here are the main reasons that was rlly dumb

1- w-who does that in a romantic relationship ever :o and yes jkr has literally said dumbledore n grindelwald were in LOVE HELLO feel free to correct me if im wrong on anything but if ur gonna say it u should show it,,,, Continuity Please. anyway separate issue but if u love someone youre not gonna be like “hey lets make SURE we dont fight each other ever” because youll trust that the other person?? isnt gonna fight u???!!!???? im

2- thats literally not the reason he “cannot move against grindelwald” okay like it shouldnt be. this conversation literally happens in dh and dumbledore says he was scared of facing what rlly happened when ariana died!! there was no actual physical thing stopping him!!! the only acceptable justification is that he doesnt want to face this ghosts of his past and that moment and he is SCARED okay so COME ON give dumbledore his faults! hes scared of his past and that IS the reason!!

3- wait how did grindelwald, aberforth, and albus fight if they had already entered a blood pact. like i dont think albus would aim for his own brother EVER but could he even attack grindelwald if they had a blood pact?? not sure how this works lol but who was he aiming for then??? just firing everywhere randomly without intention cause that sounds,,, significantly harder to believe and makes that scene loads messier esp if grindelwald couldnt aim for albus either so

4- the blood pact was so frickin unnecessary im sobbing. like there was the scene where its all like “oh some say you were as close as brothers” and dumbledore is like “oh we were closer than brothers...” and im like OK! the little scene in the air doesnt explicitly reveal anything either so thats ok but the closer than brothers line was rlly revealing for me. at least for like two minutes and then dumbledore looked in the mirror and saw himself making a blood pact w grindelwald. like ok is That what u meant by closer than brothers bc thats what everythings pointing to but it shouldnt be and i.............ugh

5- im honestly just kind of hhhhhhhhhhhh. i can concede that the blood pact might be significant in later films and i look forward to watching them! but. at the same time i. wish that if you were going to say dumbledore was gay it would actually be explicitly referenced in the movie, instead of dancing around that and dropping it in hints and pieces that fans of the series who know this information will understand and others can just dismiss as friendship! there were So Many good places in this movie to include this fact (altho feel free to disagree w me haha) and i think that not including this fact was honestly tiring.

- nagini...........obv this isnt a huge problem bc idk where her story will go next n it might develop n become important but as of rn, i have no idea what her role in this movie is. i wonder if her reappearance in the harry potter series will actually be of significance and if itll be explained how she will end up under servitude to voldemort bc i genuinely dont understand right now. it just seems like a cameo to draw attention in the trailer ghgdjh

- leta lestrange’s death didnt feel right or impactful and im sad . definitely a huge opinion here but it felt like a mandatory character snuff to make the movie sad and ghdsjgfh oh well :(

- little continuity issues?? dumbledore being DADA professor instead of transfiguration bc Boggarts Are Important For Foreshadowing. also how is mcgonagall an adult or actually how is she even alive and um of course the fact that this movie doesnt confirm what jkr has said about dumbledore and grindelwald beforehand. 

- im actually going to totally repeat myself bc this deserves a separate point umm why arent dumbledore and grindelwald actually shown as in love with each other as young men. its completely relevant to the movie and its not hard to put it in there instead of the bLOOD PACT (ask anyone irl ive been screaming abt the blood pact ever since i came out of that movie). anyway i know david yates said he wouldnt be including that as part of the movie as fans are aware of that aNyway but its not that hard to understand. people are asking for actual representation?? not smt vague??? because this is just here to Please People. if u refuse to see this ship, ure just gonna see them as having a friendship! maybe u havent heard about what jkr said or maybe ure choosing to ignore it bc,, idk that says smt about u, or maybe another reason idk! but if u go into this knowing they were In Love and hoping to see confirmation of dumbledore being canonically gay, youre going to hear that “oh, we were more than brothers” line and be like oh yeah we been knew, or more seriously like hey! maybe we’re getting a canon confirmation, not just floaty young people leaning towards each other! like when he looked in the mirror i was like okay This Is It this is gna be confirmation but then it wasnt oop. it was the !!! bloooood paaact !!! which means that people could interpret the “closer than brothers” line as meaning oh we done did a blood pact that means we blood related look at us go! ALBUS AND CREDENCE DONT LOOK LIKE THEY HAVE A 12 YEAR AGE GAP WHAT IS HAPPENINF

In all honesty, can a person be too nice? people always say yes that they get taken advantage of but I think those are two separate things. I believe you can be endlessly nice even with boundaries. I wish people aired on the side of overly nice than the typical overly rude

also just realized that at final 13 i know well over half of the people in the game..... love that for me!! -close with ali, jonathan, and zoe over here both separately & together -mj obvs -cindi and jay are known quantities -jules is great too -so only ones i don’t know.... silver, zach, asya, nathan & jessie i know i can work with at least half of the ones i know, probably more - only real question mark is cindi cuz she was a little sus originally, and jay i hope is still good but i think he and keegan were close so might have to work on explaining that one. but overall, i feel pretty well set for merge whenever it gets here, and hopefully the next couple votes can get rid of some of those ones i don’t know. onward and upward! we’ll see!!!

I don't really do much text confessionals but I just ranted in my host chat so I'm sending it here. ~~This Round~~ this round is gonna be fun, so much fun, and I won't have to do like any gameplay because I think regardless the trian tribe is going to tribal and I wanna see how that plays out, and then if my tribe goes to tribal I'm gonna dip out using my safety without power and let silver kill an og circi since he's gonna pull out that extra vote however, if asya or jules have an advantage / if mj flips that's fine with me too. I'm still debating playing the solar eclipse. I want to cause chaos, and for what? For no reason. *Moments Later* I spun a wheel to determine what I will do this round, and it landed on not playing the solar eclipse and noping out. that's what I'm doing. now you may ask for the strategic value of letting a circi die? Well, if a Circi goes (or two circis go if it's an andro/circi tribal), I'm suddenly 1/2 of my OG tribe left. People may want to pick me up and use me as a number since I will have no allegiance to anyone. This puts me in a lowkey kind of decent position if I lie and say I was gonna be voted out if I didn't safety w/o power. Also playing a safety without power and claiming the magnet would statistically mean I am less likely to have other advantages since other people had searches stockpiled for the swap I'll probably test the waters for a bit after immunity results and then play the magnet to make it look like it wasn't planned and I just got a bad feeling. In other words: I'm turning the crackhead dial-up, it's time for fun! I swear to god if we don't merge after this round I will scream. ~~Planning for the Future~~ oh my god it could be a 10 person merge. because the merge episode is usually episode 8. we're on 6 but that wouldn't make sense to prevent a 5 > 1 person tribe from occurring and 5 votes in a swap seems like a bit much. I feel like at this point I know I probably won't win this game but I'm gonna give them hell while I'm here playing well is boring People on this cast that will probably try to kill me: Cindi, Jay, Nathan, Maybe Jesse? I haven't really spoken much to MJ or Silver, chances are my closest ally is going home this round, Zoe Jonathan and Ari may pick me up if I'm from a minority tribe but dump me very quickly. From my POV the cards are not in my favor, all I have are my advantages so the path of chaos is more beneficial plus I'm sure it's spread I'm pretty good at immunities in merge so they're gonna try to take me out early on like round 1 or 2, So if I want any chance I need to play the following way Since I cannot depend on social connections as much as I normally would 1. Make sure my existing social connections are voted out so that I am not in the group where I don't have the best social connections but I have enough that it is worrisome 2. Play my advantages early in merge if I don't win immunity, cementing myself as a big target 3. Convince people that nobody will take me deep into the game because I have placed myself in the position of a big target 4. Try to get the people that would be 100% against me voted out, while also watching Andro tribe majority. Basically making Andro and Trian fight each other 5. Win immunities near the end and somehow make it deep??? That's my best case scenario at this point in my opinion.

So like we won immunity . Wow see what happens when we actually try? Isn’t that nice . Idc who goes really I can make new bonds or whatever with people if silver goes but in the ideal scenario he will stay. But tbh I have no power over what happens tonight so I don’t care. Hoping merge happens next

Having to remind myself that is entirely okay to be vengeful and even be blinded by revenge in these games. I've become way too soft for these things in the past couple of years. As of right now, tonight's tribal council should be 2-1-1, since Zach is skipping -- 2 votes for Silver (Asya, Jules), 1 vote Jules (Silver), and 1 vote Asya (me). If Silver's 50/50 coin lands on SAFE, the it’ll tie between Aysa and Jules and I think I’ll get auto-eliminated if it’s rocks instead of a 1v1 tiebreaker, and I’m OK with that I think! If it lands on NOT SAFE then Silver is leaving, period! And Silver deserves to leave, and I shouldn't feel nervous about taking this shot, no matter if it backfires or not. It makes me feel icky to think that Nathan, Jessie, and Silver were in cahoots from the very start and I didn't care enough to control my own game because I've become too accustomed to jellyfishing my way through ORGs to avoid being pinpointed as a leader or strategist. I'm putting my foot down tonight. I'm taking this shot and if it works, then it's merely the beginning of the end for half of the remaining cast as far as I'm concerned. If it backfires, then oh well, at least I tried something here. NO REGRETS! Anyway, just had the first alliance call with Aysa and Jules and it was great! Good vibes! We just chit-chatted and discussed strategy and previous dynamics. It will be a shame if we don’t get to push forward together after tonight. I’m also telling Silver right now not to play the 50/50 befcause if it doesn’t land on safe then the vote will be 3-2 if Aysa is lying; and if Aysa is telling the truth then he’s wasting a power that he could have later on. It kinda makes no sense for him to use the 50/50 considering the information he’s being told. I’m fine with pitching this to him because he said he was 100% gonna use it anyway, so me telling him not to will either leave things the same or result in him not using it at all. There’s no losing there. The only way to lose is if it lands on safe. The savage in me is saying, no MJ don’t let yourself get auto-eliminated if things go south, CUT JULES! And I realize that that’s exactly how I should be thinking given the first two lines of this confessional!!! But I wanna be a risk taker. I’m fine with this blowing up because the potential reward is greater than me being auto-eliminated. + Jack was rocked out last season so it would be cute to match that if it comes down to it! I hope it doesn’t, but it’s fine either way. I feel like this game owes me. Silver's 50/50 will not land on safe.

okay, here's the plan. silver has the glowing orb 50/50 coin thing. i expect him to play it. silver's voting me. im voting silver and so is asya. mj is king of the key here. if mj votes silver and the orb makes him safe, then im gone. if mj votes asya (hang on, ive just had a realization and just had to sit in silence for a while whilst i process it.) okay. if mj votes asya and the coin makes silver safe, it'll be 2-1-1, with a tie between me and asya. which im just now realizing could send it to rocks where mj would be the one leaving............. boy howdy, sure wish i knew how to count. okay, yeah. we'll just hope that the coin lands on NOT SAFE -or- he doesnt play it at all. mj and asya are telling him that they're voting me out, so maybe he'll feel comfy enough not to use it. i dont WANT asya to be voted out, but it's better than me or mj being the vote. if mj gets rocked out by default because i didnt realize how to count....... oops!!! but silver has a bunch of advantages, so him getting voted out would flush those out. asya has an immunity shard and id like to think that she'd will it to me if she gets voted out, but eye dee kay!

AHHH sorry this is coming so late but I've had a busy busy few days, and luckily I've avoided tribal during this time lol So before I was feeling a bit shaky on this tribe, I felt like everyone was more connected to each other than to me. But as it turns out, that's completely untrue and I feel very at the center of this tribe. Nathan and I have had multiple long talks recently where we've decided that we want to stick together deep into this game, and he's given me some info about how he and Silver gave up their immunity shards to Jessie, so she has an idol now. Cindi and I have a connection from our original tribe too and I've been keeping up on that relationship too. I gave her a clue I found during an expedition but nothing really came of it since it's, as far as I can tell, impossible to decipher. If we did end up going to tribal, I would have made a push to take out Jessie TBH, even though she has the idol. I feel like even if Nathan wasn't for it, they'd go for Cindi and not me. But luckily that doesn't matter because we're immune and likely heading for a merge in the next 30 minutes. And if not a merge, than another swap bc I think y'all hosts anticipated that one tribe could have lost all of the last 3 immunities and I don't think you want a 2 person tribe at the f11. But yeah I feel really good about my place in the game, I want Nathan to be my shield for the time being bc he's so vocal and strategic that he will always be a target ahead of me.

when he cried as a child there would be a storm in his crib

called gifted by his parents

but a freak by any other name would be just as sinful

not once had he met anyone else ‘gifted’ like him

not until he was 14

he had just had his lunch poured all over him by the ‘populars’

so he was in the yard, sitting with the storm raging above him, cleaning him but not getting him wet

he’d learned that trick after the first time that happened

while hw was sitting under his tree, the new boy approached him

the same age as junmyeon, he was already 5′7″ and showed no signs of stopping soon

he walked over, and stepped under the rain shower

junmyeon was expecting him to get soaked but was surprised when steam rose off him instead

chanyeol sat next to him and waited for the shower to pass

once it was a light drizzle the steam stopped and chanyeol allowed himself to get wet

“If you want to talk about what happened, I’m right here”

suho almost broke down again right there, it was the first time someone had said that to him

and so they became the mighty two

fire and water was a very good mix for once

junmyeon finally found his use

because as nice as chanyeol was, he was hot headed as hell sometimes

so he needed a good dip of cold water every now and then

the same happened reversed when junmyeon was to emotional in any way, he needed to dry off or he would have caused a monsoon

junmyeon and yeol talked a lot about their soul mates and whether they would have the same powers or they would be different

then throughout high school, they found more friends with powers as their marks

soon there was 9 with a range of powers

the ones that got on the best was suho and minseok who had ice

they were the hyungs of the group and they were the ones that made sure everything was in line

they made sure that everyone was studying and getting good grades

there were three more but they had to move school unfortunately 

and so the gang was staying a 9

they decided they would all try and go to the same ‘gifted’ college

the only real requirement was to prove your gifts somehow, you could come up with how

so they all decided to use each other

set up in two groups of three, one group of two and one singular using his powers after everyone else

junmyeon would be up against yeol and sehun

kyungsoo would be up against jongin and minseok

jongdae and baek would go 1v1

and lay would heal any injuries occurred

this would be a free for all match, no holds barred, any injuries allowed

the judges of the match were thoroughly stunned and amazed

they were all accepted obvs

junmyeon decided to major in acting because he’d always had an interest in it

he learned how to control his powers even more than he already did and how to branch it out to its limits

there were a few other water marked kids in the college but none of them were his soulmate

so he started his course and kept working on his powers

now onto you

you loved your powers

you loved to grow flowers by manipulating the water

however others did not like it

namely your parents

you were shunned and kicked out at the young age of 15

so you walked the streets for a few years

you learned the other side of your powers during that time

once when a man attacked you, you managed to draw water from the air and flowers and plants around you to use against him

one night, you also managed to draw water from a would be attacker themselves

you felt disgusted with yourself for a while after before realising it was the only way

so when you heard about a gifted school in seoul 

you knew you had a chance

you walked in, and immediately felt out of place

snotty families all around

a few clusters of average looking people thankfully

there was one boy walking around asking people that had just been in if they needed healed

you said your name and power to the receptionist and she gave you a number and said to take a seat

you watched as everyone else went ahead of you and came out looking battered but triumphant

then it was your turn

you walked in and there was a lineup of solider looking guys behind the judges

“Water type yes?”

you quickly said yes and one of the boys walked forward

he was tall as hell and had silvery grey hair, didn’t have too much muscle but had something

from the glint in his eyes you thought he would be a fire power probably

a bell went off and suddenly he was advancing

you grasped out for any water you could find in the room and pulled it in front of you

he changed his direction and suddenly fire was coming out of his feet and he was going above you

you ran and sprinted to the nearest plant in the room, drawing every last drop from it

you spun round and round, sending the water coiling around him

he was trapped, and you summoned more water from the air around him to form gloves this some katara shit right here

you hands fit into the gloves perfectly and you moved the water so he was kneeling in front of you

steam was rising off of him, the closer you got, the more steam

your hands crept closer to his face while he tried to break free

one hand managed to break free and grabbed your wrist, burning it

you ripped your hand from his grasp and moved the water back to pin him down

your hand finally touched his face and you managed to manipulate the water around his body until he was unable to move

you dropped everything, making a puddle form around him

then someone else attacked from behind

arms were wrapped around you and they were pulling you back

you grabbed their bare arm and drew water from them until they dropped you

you turned around and quickly returned the borrowed water, not wanting to cause any more harm

the judges conferred before agreeing to give you a place

you thanked and bowed as much as you could before apologising to the fire guy you’d fought

he was being seen to by the healer fortunately

you sat back outside and realised that you had steam burns on your neck  from the fire guy as well as the palms of your hand were burnt

the healer came out and saw to you making small chat 

you found out his name was Lay and he was a year above you

he was majoring in music mainly but also languages as a side

he was from china but moved to seoul because of the school

then he started asking about your life

you trusted the healer so you were honest with him

he didn’t miss a beat though, and was fully accepting

after he healed you he had to get back to work 

and so you were left to try and navigate the school

finally got moved into a dorm

started a course in horticulture

and all was going well

you spoke to Lay many times after that but never really hung out much

until one day he asked if you wanted to go to coffee with him and a few of his friends

you’d heard about the legendary friends so you agreed

they were all in different courses and scattered around campus but when lay called them all, they all agreed

and so you and lay were on your way to the coffee shop

one of his friends, minseok, already worked there so you got a partial discount for friends and family

hell yeah

when you and lay arrived, minseok had already gotten a large ass table ready and had your orders ready to bring over

at first it was just the three of you until they all started to filter in

all seemed to be going well

everyone seemed to be really kind and welcoming

you were learning everyones names and nicknames

only 5 had nicknames for some reason but they all suited them

so far there were only two left to arrive

kyungsoo  and junmyeon

or D.O. and Suho as you learned

they were both doing acting and were in the same course

and so you were waiting for them but also having a blast with the rest of the group

when it started to feel like water was running down your back and up your front

the guys started to notice a little cloud above your head and asked if you wanted to stand outside for a minute to try and calm down

you agreed even though you didn’t know why this was happening

you stood outside in the empty street and felt the water worsen

you had no clue why

until you saw him

suho had been feeling odd since he left the class but didnt know why

until he got to one street away from the coffee shop

him and DO were almost at the coffee shop when his blood started feeling like it was being manipulated all over his body

he wasn’t in control when he looked over

looked over at you in specific

the cloud above your head expanded to the sky

your eyes met and it was suddenly pouring

your first few steps together and the rain was falling harder with every footstep

you were toe to toe and the rain was going up, down, left and right

your first touch and lighting struck next to you

you lingered and the wind started

you stared into each others eyes, linked by more than just skin and the water was flooding everything in an 8 foot circle

everything was geld in by an invisible wall

you leaned in to each other, your lips touched and the rain stilled mid air

everything stilled but the flood water, which rose and split into two separate streams

the kiss deepened and the water pulsed and swirled in time with your heartbeats

everyone inside was slightly stunned by the revelation

kyungsoo was standing just outside the water circle

until you two pulled away and the control over the water faded

as did the wall surrounding you, and the water slightly spilled all over kyungsoo

you two didn’t notice

you were busy staring at each other because holy mother above he was attractive

he was thinking the same about you

chanyeol and sehun came out to see you two

sehun went off to dry kyungsoo

chanyeol managed to get you two inside to talk

minseok got you two a soulmate special they decided to make a drink after soul mates met there for the first time

it was a free special lmao

you sat speechless for a while

until you go “Well that was refreshing”

he burst out laughing

this was off to an amazing start

you two sat making terrible jokes and talking about your lives with a cup of coffee between you

then it was late and they were closing the shop

the rest of the group had stayed to talk and see how you two were and decided they would finally tell you that you needed to head back

so you two walked back to student accommodation and talked the whole way

you two met up every day

learned how to fight together and work with each other

you learned how to work with his style of water work and he learned to work with yours

perfect team right here guys

then, a few months after the first meeting, he took you for a date

it wasn’t unusual for him to do this, he loved treating you

but when he stood and grabbed your face

and leaned in and was a perfect gentleman

you knew that fate was right when it put you two together

because theres nobody you would rather be with than him
