It's embarrassingly easy, how someone can worm their way into Kaeya's heart. He just makes it so hard to navigate that one can never quite tell what it so happens to be or if he even feels such. And that's without mentioning he himself takes ample measures to never give them the opportunity to do so or see just how much he needs it.
One such means to his heart is taking care of him. Truly, actively looking after him and never giving him the chance to get away with hiding injuries ( and especially helping him with them ) or overworking himself ( whether helping ease the load on his shoulders or pull him away from it altogether ). He would never think himself befit of such care, even as he pours endless time and effort into doing the same for others. He will remember each and every time it is offered unprompted and always repay them for that kindness tenfold in devotion and gestures.
It's no wonder he chooses to remain with the Knights, regardless of how much more freedom he'd have operating outside of them.
#hc; kaeya#//Mans has enough people he trusts to LET know he cares deeply about them able to be numbered on one hand#//The folks he can say RIGHT to their face that they are important to him#//They are Klee; Lisa; Jean....and Addie and Elzer#//Diluc and Rosie are on his list of people he cares immensely for too; but SAYING it to them? He'd rather choke; thanks#//They wouldn't take kindly to him outright admitting he cares; that's what he thinks (REALLY hopes he hasn't told Rosie while drunk)#//So he just sticks to his actions and hopes he can keep expressing his care through gestures as best he can#//They haven't TRULY set to stop him yet; so he'll take what he can get. & even if they DID seriously ask him to lay off; he prolly wouldn'#//Traveler is v tricky. Bc on one hand he cares for them IMMENSELY; esp after he shared his heritage#//On the other; he's not quite sure if him admitting how important they are to him will be taken well#//He will Not take it well if Paimon or even the traveler themself makes a joke out of it#//Or think he's up to something. He reaps what he sows; he knows; but he genuinely would hate it. Would actually break his heart#//It's from the latter three that any caring gestures towards him would mean the most. Diluc; Rosaria; and the Traveler#//Bc he's unsure of his place in their minds and how they regard him aside his (tending to be less favorable) assumptions as is#//But for them to actually act like they care; esp Diluc and Rosie; it would absolutely FLOOR him every time#//Would be unsure how to take it from them; would prolly bluescreen or take it like a brick in the face; depending#//But would be v happy to nonetheless. Once he's fully processed it anyways; lmao#//And of course and worried/caring gestures from the traveler would make him SO damn happy; he'd clown himself in the process#//Bc he'd Immediately want to cover up just how happy he is with a little wry comment to deflect#//To no one's surprise; Klee is the one he actively tells/shows how much he adores the most. Likes how happy it makes her#//And the fact that she's the one who'll most easily reciprocate affection and care is a helluva bonus too#//He finds family in her and she holds no semblance of ill feelings towards him whatsoever; so he loves her the most of all#//Albedo is in a third secret zone in which Kae will actively make his rather open affection for a big joke to cover for it#//& resolved to never say it to his face. Not seriously if at all; he figures Albedo would prolly find such a thing bothersome anyways#//Won't stop Kae from giving him the same treatment as Diluc and Rosie; doing him little favors and striving to understand him#//There's a bonus in that things he can do for Klee can connect to Albedo and vice versa too. He likes that v much#//Oh heck; this spiraled out of control#//Heck; heck; heck

hold me, love me, touch me, be the first who ever did. a short blurb about james potter being boyfriend material.
It goes without saying that James Potter is definitely the best boyfriend, person, friend there was.
He cared so deeply for you and made you feel so loved all the time, you really couldn't complain, not for once has he ever make you feel unrequited.
And for someone who spent most of its life thinking loving them was hard, James Potter was quite the gift. There was something about his way, maybe it was his personality or the professing love he felt for you that made him act that way, whatever it was, you don't think of changing it for a mere second.
For summer break, James invited you to his house – more like his mansion –, it would be fun. Remus and Sirius would catch you there a few weeks later so you had plenty of time to get to know his parents better, and the alone time you would spend together. You were looking forward to it.
Except for the nights. You knew your nights were odd, no one really had this routine for it, you got to lower it down, your mom and dad always making sure it was fine.
"James?" You murmured in the middle of the night. You tried to push your needs as much as you could but it was getting imposible. James was facing the opposite side of you, one of his legs was on top of your body but it allowed you to sit "Jamie..."
"Mmh?"
"Did you closed the door?"
"S'closed, baby. See?" He said, extending his arms to the bedroom door.
"The principal door"
"I didn't. M'sure someone else did, s'fine"
James had a really thick accent, and he spoke too fast very often. In a daily and normal basis it was hard to keep the track of what he was saying, now sleeping it was even harder"
"What if no one did?" You asked, looking at his curls falling on his forehead, his pretty face illuminated by the peaks of moonlight entering through the window "Can we check?"
"I'm sure someone did, baby. There's many people living here"
"What if someones breaks in?"
"That won't happen baby"
You played with your fingers for a few seconds, you trusted James. He lived in a nice neighborhood. Entering was hard and the people around seemed nice enough to not go through their neighbors.
But still. You. Needed. To. Check.
"Can we go check?"
"Can you go back to sleep?"
He answered back with a smile, trying to push you to the mattress but your eyes were fixated to the door, thinking. You won't be able to sleep if you don't go and check that. You know it.
"Jamie..." He responded with a sleepy 'Mmh' before you said something else "Please, can we go check?"
"Alright" He said, taking the blankets off and revealing his naked torso. You knew he liked to sleep like that, in fact, those pajama pants were too many clothes for his liking – and yours too –, but you were at his parents' house, you should show respect "Hand"
You take James' hand and let him help you out of the bed, he waits for you to put on your slippers and starts walking to the stairs.
The big brown, beautiful principal door is standing right in front of you, closed. James stands at the edge of the stairs and waits for you to see it, not counting on you wanting to go and really check if its closed.
Still, he walks down with you, still holding hands and yawning.
"See?" He says when your hand meets the locker and check that it's locked. "Back to sleep now, baby"
But you were already downstairs. And the oven was just too close to go back to the room. "What about the oven?"
"The oven is in the kitchen"
You frown; "Is it off?"
"Of course it is"
You say nothing, but the eager look in your eyes directing to the kitchen makes James sigh and start walking with you.
Even if you could see the oven off you still kneeled a bit in front of it, just watching it. James couldn't be more confused, but what could he say? If checking the oven and the door would make his girl happy, count him in.
"Is off"
He smiles "See, baby? No harm as long as you're with your man"
And you smile back. Because what kind of guy would drag himself off bed and walk downstairs at 2:30 in the morning to just check if the door was closed.
When you exit the kitchen, the principal door is looking at you again, and suddenly you can't remember if you did a good inspection in there. Your body and James' is already four stairs up, but you had to check it.
You let go of James hand for the first time since you got out of bed and run to the door, check the look again and smile to yourself now that is locked.
"S'alright. We checked good the first time"
"Thank you"
You murmur and he just smiles and kisses your forehead.
After that day, James Potter goes through the whole house, holding hands with you, checking if everything is in order to go to sleep. Of course there's time you need to double check in the middle of the night, often he would try to help you to control it, but sometimes you really need to double check.

There is something about the way Mulder learns to accept and seek out emotional support and comfort throughout the course of the seasons. With all the casual physical contact that they have going on from the beginning, he seems ready to reach out, but doesn't seem to expect others to do the same. He feels deeply, but he keeps it to himself; something he seems to have learned from an early age. He's had to build his life around other people's pain since his sister disappered. He doesn't want to burden others with his needs.
Scully's "I wouldn't put myself on the line for anybody but you" in "Tooms" is met with a joke immediately to lighten the mood -- a flirty joke, but still. He doesn't think he deserves how much she cares about him. Caring is his job. It's everyone else's job to disregard and dismiss his feelings and not take him seriously.
Scully setting up their secret meeting in "Little Green Men" -- he seems almost a little confused that she really just wanted to see him. He doesn't react when the touches his hair before she leaves. He doesn't react when she briefly takes his hand at the end. I don't think those little gestures of comfort don't register with him. They do. He simply doesn't quite know how to respond to them. He doesn't hesitate to gently cup her cheek and offer comfort when she wants to come back to work after her father's death. But he would never expect her to do that for him.
In "Anasazi" when he says "Thank you for taking care of me," it seems like he has to think about that sentence for a long time. Not because he isn't grateful, but because he doesn't really understand why she did it. Nothing more embarrassing than thanking someone and hearing "Oh, I didn't do it for you." And he said some pretty rude things to her when he was drugged, accusing her of betraying him. Who knows how much of it he remembers, but apparently enough to feel mortified. He never wanted to hurt her, but he must have, and then, after all that, she saved him and risked so much for him?
The scene in "Detour" comes to mind, the night in the forest when she tries to pull his head into her lap so he can get some rest and so that she can keep him warm, and he jokes "I don't want to wrestle." She doesn't have to do this, he's fine. He's not being a manly man who doesn't need anything, it's just that she's offering something that's hard to accept for him. She offers him a place to let go and stop pushing on. And he doesn't think she needs to do that, he is not fatally injured or anything, he'll be fine. But she wants him to be comfortable. She sees him, and is there for him.
At his mother's hospital bed in "Herrenvolk," she reaches for him and he lets himself cry into her shoulder. It's not just an emotional scene because of what he's going through. It's that he's allowing himself to truly let himself go in front of her. She reaches for him and he gives in and leans his face against her shoulder, holds onto her, letting her hold him. Letting her hold him. That's the really crucial point. Who has ever done that for him before? Who has ever allowed him his pain and told him it's okay, I know you have to feel like this right now, I know you're hurting, and I will be your tether for as long as you have to lose yourself in this?
"Sein und Zeit" -- he clings to her so tightly, lets her be his lifeline in this moment, as he knows she wants to be that for him. Letting go like that is so, so scary. There is always the fear that it will change someone's opinion of you. Make them think you're weak. Let them know what gets to you, and then you will always always always have to deal with them looking at you trying to asses how okay you are in stressful situations. It leaves you wide open and vulnerable. Learning that she doesn't expect him to be strong, that she doesn't believe that things don't affect him, that's a new concept. It requires so much trust.
Being able to take an offered hand is really fucking difficult, especially when you've been conditioned to be the one doing the reaching out. Leaning on someone is terrifying. Some patterns are hard to unlearn. But her steady presence finally allows him to show weakness and trust her to catch him when he falls. It lets him understand that he's allowed to fall sometimes.

Today only from a card carrying member of the Castis Vakarian Appreciation Squad, a refresher on canon since there's a not-zero number of people in 2024 who seem blissfully unaware of how much we know about this man in canon (including andromeda yes the game is canon go cry about it).
He's a cop. Yes Castis works for C-Sec, implied within the same unit/building as Garrus and to the contrary of his son, is implied to be both good at his job and well-regarded for it. (This will be important for later points try to remember it.)
He has alien friends. Castis is canonically one of Alec Ryder's best friends. They're good enough friends that he passes on rumours/heresay about the Reapers to him and reminisces about spending time with him on the Citadel. Any turian old enough to have been an adult during the FCW and who has human friends as of canon prolly isn't a miserable old xenophobe. Whilst no, working at C-Sec doesn't exclude him from having shitty thoughts about Krogan and Quarians, it's a fairly good sign he's not anti-alien on the whole if he'll befriend a human.
He's got a personality. How dare minor characters have those! But more seriously, acting as if Castis is portrayed as nothing but a rule-worshipping automaton is doing him a disservice. If nothing else, his willingness to befriend and hang out with Alec, who's very much of the opinion that rules are guidelines to be circumvented when at all possible, shows that he's capable of nuance and maybe even a dash of line-pushing of his own accord. Maybe he's comfortable within the system and trusts law and order as set out legally above all else but c'mon guys, you don't hang out with a guy who goes on to break AI law and get dishonourably discharged (and then remain friends with him after that when it's made damned clear few others do) without being able to see shades of grey.
He trusts his son. This one I suspect may be more contentious BUT let's be honest here, Garrus isn't an easy person to be around. We hear about the pair of them clashing on the job and within their personal lives about the spectres but here's the thing: Garrus winds up on a secretive mission with a human and xenophobic terrorist group, after running off to a lawless hellscape to play batman. He remains distant until done working with Cererbus and then returns home with a crazy tale about a dead human spectre, genocidal robots from the year dot and half his face missing. Castis not only believes him but does so willingly enough that he does everything he can to help him get the news to the right people, just in case he's right. Equally, whilst we don't have an exact date for when the call with Alec occurs, it's post-start of ME1 at the very least and within that he's already willing to take what Garrus is saying Shepard says at face value. Within that call, it's made patently obvious that no matter what, he still trusts Garrus on some level and is proud of him on top of that trust.
He cares deeply for the people around him. Perhaps this one's linked with 3 but whatever, my post, my rules; in the comics, the picture we're painted by (unreliable narrator) Garrus is that of a driven, cold man who doesn't care enough about his own family. This is why he doesn't come home when Mama Vakarian gets hurt, we're told, and we're expected to take that as face value even when she herself says that by the time he can get away from work and be back there, she'll be mostly healed. Kinda contrasted by the fact that he seemingly retires/takes time off from C-Sec to be with his wife when she's dying. Now, the details are kinda fuzzy on the whys and hows but during ME3, he and Solana escape Palaven together. Maybe the war's going poorly enough that they're able to finagle staying together through the draft, maybe they come across one another purely by luck, we don't know. Either way, rather than attempt to get back to the Citadel and to where he presumably still had a job and/or was needed, he sticks with his daughter. Can't do anything more to help his son but he's gonna stick with at least one of his kids to make sure she survives. As well as all this, the "do things properly or don't do them at all" lesson Garrus struggles with from him is (gasp) not bad advice for their situation. He's trying to teach his son important life skills and whilst there's no denying he's going about it wrong, a key point is in fact that Garrus learns to master the gun he's struggling to fire and it in fact becomes one of his specialities! He becomes an exceptionally good marksman! The lesson fucking worked! He still, regardless of the reasons for it, seems to support and be content with Garrus not fulfilling his mandatory 15 but instead joining C-Sec and (worse still) doesn't have too much of an issue with him consorting with Spectres. Perhaps he's not best pleased but he definitely comes to accept that that's how things are irrespective of his own feelings about them as either a concept or as people (his belief that Garrus being a spectre would be a terrible no good very bad idea is, in fact, backed up by canon as being entirely correct too).
Conclusion/TL:DR. Take a lesson from Castis Vakarian himself here, either write about this man properly or don't write him at all, I'm begging y'all. There's an awful lot more to this character if you think about him and put together the information canon gives us on him, so do so.
#meta#character analysis#Castis Vakarian#garrus vakarian#turian#shakarian#also yeah MEA which gave us a canon name for him came out in 2017. Y'all have had 7 years to learn his name even if you had named him prior#do better.

I know the game is forever old at this point but I'm still so damn pissed that Arkham Knight still ended up being all about Joker instead of Scarecrow. Like. The fucker's DEAD. The writer that came up with that should've been absolutely MAKING OUT with themselves cause HOLY CHRIST that frees up so much to explore with the other villains!
Instead he upstages fuckin SCARECROW from beyond the grave! That's fuckin stupid! There is SO. MUCH. To do with Scarecrow, or other Batman fears! Here's just a few off the dome:
- Vulnerability, be that emotional, physical, mentally, ect. Bruce has been hurt so many times by so many people, and his inability to give and receive trust and lay down guard is one of his biggest character flaws. Bruce Wayne is a very deeply loving, caring man that FORCES HIMSELF to stop trusting people because he is afraid of what will happen if he lets too many people (or the wrong people) into his world and life. Fuckin explore that, nerd!
- Losing everyone he loves. He's got the Batfam in this timeline, and Jason Todd went through WAY more this way round than in other settings (seriously that was a little bit fucked tbh, more on that in a minute). But in this game, he's dismissive of them, cold even, when they try to reach out. THE WRITER THAT CAME UP WITH THAT SHOULD'VE KISSED THEMSELVES FOR THEIR GENIUS, and then BLATANTLY MADE THAT COLDNESS A RESULT OF HIS FEAR THAT HIS KIDS ARE GONNA GET HURT AND HE'S SCARED OF WATCHING THEM DIE LIKE HIS PARENTS, rather than having it come across as the stoic badass attitude he's had throughout the series. We're told he loves his kids, but maybe show that a little more!
- Failure. They talked about this a little with the whole Arkham Knight plotline, but it could've (should've, really) been the focus (given it's THE FUCKIN NAME OF THE GAME). In fact, that scene where he finds out what happened to Jason should've been a fear gas dream, Joker's presence relegated to these hallucinatory scenes of Jason being violently tortured, the reality of the situation being only hinted at or brushed off because Jason, surprisingly enough, doesn't wanna talk about it. This all can encapsulate Bruce's innate fear of failing in his duty as both Batman and as a father, and his fear of confronting his past failures in the form of Jason Todd. And given this is FUCKING SCARECROW'S GAME, the guy who's all about plucking on fear and setting people against each other because they're afraid, he should've figured out how to exploit the fear of failure from the very beginning.
If the whole point is that Joker needs Batman but Batman doesn't need Joker, then why is it that the fear of becoming Like Joker Batman's fear gas hallucinations here? Sure, he can tangle with the fear of killing and wanton violence, even the fear that were he to intentionally kill someone, he wouldn't be able to stop.
But let's be so fucking for real: This Batman would not enjoy it. This Batman barely enjoys beating people up for Riddler info. He certainly wouldn't take the explicitly carnal pleasure in death that this Joker did. He couldn't stomach the idea of killing random people, he could barely stomach the idea of killing fucking Edward Nygma, and even THAT is stretching it HARD. Bc this Batman believes STRONGLY in punitive justice (despite 3 gamesworth and a whole career of experience to the contrary at that point), as shown in all previous entries. Now, he'll certainly LET people die (FUCKING HELL, DUDE, TYGER IS COMMITTING A LITERAL GENOCIDE RIGHT NOW AND YOU WANNA GO AFTER JOKER!? BE FOR REAL!), and is obviously ok with life-alteringly disabling people in settings where that would kill them (looking at you "if you're done eating solid food" in City, where people talk about quite literally starving in the cold all game long), but refuses to even kill a guy HE KNOWS WILL JUST RESURRECT IN 3 HOURS.
And his big fear is becoming Joker bc he has left over Joker Juice in his system?
Be so FUCKING for real.
Let Scarecrow Scarecrow in the goddamn Scarecrow game. That shit they did in Asylum? Shoulda been a whole game of THAT. Because that was fucking awesome.

Hi! Congrats on 10k, that is incredible! Can I request a 💌 from the Darkling? I'm a hospital pharmacy technician. I'm loyal to a fault, stubborn, feisty, and I find I care a lot. Even about people I don't know. I spend my free time either reading, writing, or gaming. I prefer the cold over the heat. Ummm I can't think of anything else lol hopefully this is enough! If not, let me know and I'll try again 🥰
thank you so much!
masterlist
Moonlight dapples the grounds of the Little Palace as you stroll through the darkened paths of the surrounding gardens. You’ve just emerged from a long session in the medical rooms of the Grisha; as one of Ravka’s best Healers, you’re constantly kept busy. It’s good to be needed, but it’s also good to be alone, for once, allowed to breathe deeply and let the stress of the day fade away the farther you walk.
As it turns out, you won’t be able to take some time to yourself after all. At the end of the garden path, shadows under a sturdy oak coalesce into a dark-robed man who strides out to greet you. Were you any other Grisha operating under the fine roofs of the Little Palace, the sight of the Darkling on a night like this would startle you. However, he’s grown on you since you first arrived in Os Alta, and you find yourself more willing to let your guard down around him than expected.
Indeed, it seems the Darkling feels the same way. He turns to walk by your side, letting out a dry chuckle as he does. “You know, every other exhausted Grisha is currently seeking refuge in front of a roaring fire, yet here I find you purposefully keeping yourself out in the cold.”
You smile. “I like the cold, moi soverenyi.”
“And it likes you,” the Darkling muses. “I cannot blame you for seeking peace beyond the walls of the Little Palace. I value all of the souls in the Second Army, but it does grow quite busy, does it not?”
“It does,” you agree. “Still, I’ve grown fond of how busy our halls can be. Our soldiers are good people.”
“Just our soldiers?” The Darkling asks. He keeps pace perfectly, as if he had made your every movement the primary focus of his studies.
“Some more than others,” you admit.
It’s too dark to see clearly, but you swear the Darkling’s quartz eyes flash with something you cannot name. “Oh? Which ones?”
You smile to yourself, deliberately savoring the silence over a few steps before you reveal yourself. “Perhaps the ones I walk with, late at night. Do you think they’re to be trusted?”
Something distinctly like triumph appears on the Darkling’s face. “I do. You had better keep them close, however, so you can determine if that trust is warranted.”
“That,” you drawl, “is exactly what I plan on doing.”
Overhead, the stars wheel through the sky. On the moonlit ground, the Darkling leads you further into the gardens. It has been a long day, but at last, you have peace.
requested by @mattmurdocksscars, i hope you enjoy!

Hope you’re feeling better today! Also we both know how much I adore this little family!
What are the different parenting styles of Nik versus Price? Does one hover more than the other? Is one more strict?
Does Nik teach Bailey Russian? If so, would he teach her curses?
What is a subject Bailey enjoys the most in school?
If Bailey did something bad, nothing crazy, which if her uncles would she call first to help her hide it? (If she would hide it. If not, would she tell Nik or Price first?)
When Bailey starts celebrating Father’s Day for Nik and Price, what is her go to gifts for each one?
Would Nik keep a secret of Bailey’s from Price and would Price keep a secret of Bailey’s from Nik?
During a zombie apocalypse, what would Bailey’s go to weapon be? And what would be the one personal item she would bring?
Different parenting styles:
Hoo boy, do I have strong opinions about this sort of thing with these two. Like, Price definitely seems to be the more helicopter type parent in their relationship, but it's more of being responsible for ensuring her health. You have to remember, Bailey was not in good physical or mental shape at all when she met Price. After taking her home, he's the one responsible for making sure she's taking her vitamins and her iron, making sure she's taking her anxiety medication, making sure she's eating a balanced diet while also balancing her food sensitivities/aversions, making sure she's showered and brushed her teeth. He's in such a habit of asking her questions like "have you taken your iron yet today?" And "when was the last time you brushed your teeth?" That it's just how their relationship works. She definitely gains independence as she gets older and doesn't really depend on him to help her remember those things, but she will never tell him to stop asking her stuff like that cause it makes her feel loved. It reminds her that he cares so deeply about her. Price can come off as nosy to other people/parents but they have an understanding that him asking questions is him saying "I love you and I want you to be happy and healthy and the best way I can help with that is ask you all these questions about your life and health and school." BUT Price isn't actually all that strict. Like let's be honest, this man does not scream "strict parent". He's definitely protective but nit strict. He trusts Bailey is smart enough to make good decisions, and he trusts they have a good enough relationship that she can come to him with anything.
But NIK on the other hand? He's the one drilling her with questions when she says she's hanging out with some friends. He has to know every detail and even that isn't enough. He's so fucking paranoid that something is going to happen to her, and he can't let that happen. He always anticipated to be someone's Cool Uncle one day, but now he's Papa and it's scary, man. He's now responsible for a whole ass human child and he just wouldn't be able to live with himself if something happened to her. She means so much to his beloved husband and himself, that Nik will sometimes lie awake at night worrying about them. Nik is constantly worried something is wrong with her. He's just not adjusted to having an autistic child that feels safe enough around them to not need to mask, and he's just so worried she's upset about something but in fact she's just chilling.
Does Nik teach Bailey Russian?
Yes absolutely. She loves learning so much, and she loves language cause to her it's so cool that humans created different ways to talk to each other (read as "to say I love you"). She definitely convinces him to teach her how to say I love you first. To her, learning how to say I love you to the two of them is important, and she learns very fast that saying it in Nik's native tongue makes his eyes all watery and he gives her the biggest bear hug. She's definitely trying to learn Russian seriously. She wants to be able to have conversations in Russian, even if she ends up still not being entirely fluent and using English to fill in the gaps for things she doesn't know. He definitely teaches her curses. She's his kid, she's gonna know how to curse when she's upset.
Bailey's favorite subject is either science or math.
If she did something bad, how is she handling it?
I will say, she grew up in a family that prioritized communication, so she's definitely going to her dads, probably in tears, about what she fucked up.
But if she had to call one of her uncles, she's calling Gaz. She loves Ghost and Soap, don't get her wrong, but she knows they'll start lecturing/mothering her, and she's not in the mood for that if she's made a mistake. Gaz is the least likely to lecture or mother her, so she's calling him.
Go to Father's Day gifts?
Mugs for Price and little random knick knacks for Nik for his many vehicles
Would her dads keep her secret(s) from each other?
Yes. They both work and deal in secrets. She tells them quite a bit, and rarely keeps secrets. They honestly wouldn't do it on purpose, but unless she explicitly tells them it doesn't have to be a secret, they just end up not sharing the information to the other. Part of it is they respect her privacy too much to just share half of what she tells them in private, even if it's just a meaningless little story from school.
Zombie apocalypse?
Go to weapon is a bat. Light enough for her to be able to carry it but can still be an effective weapon. She will also joke she's choosing Nik as her weapon.
She's taking her stuffed zebra with her. It's the one thing she's had for basically her entire life, she's never letting go of it.

Coming off of anon and I’ve been doing just fine for a simple request: Murro, Percy, Bane and Leo with a reader who views him as a father figure.
Let’s throw Servais in there too bc I love him and don’t see enough of him
Gotta gotta be down because I want it all YESS i get so happy when i see people build up the courage to come off anon we're all cringe equally here ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥 ALSO big W for the character choice we need more love for these especially murro🙏
murro, percy, bane, leo and servais with a reader who sees them as (a) father figure(s)🐗🧟♂️🦌☄️🪄
murro morton🐗
him?? out of all people?!
you've pretty much cemented murro's trust now...
murro has quite a bit of experience being the older sibling, but being a father figure? no way
the fact that you find him that special even though he's just being himself really warms his heart, not gonna lie
might shed a tear or two just thinking about it ok. this man is quite emotional
once you tell him that he begins to act a bit more carefully in front of you and give you advice more often
i mean, shit, what kind of an opportunity is it to be someone's very own dad figure? just thinking of it makes his heart jump out of joy
murro is a very selfless person but the fact that you look up to him *that* much does make him want to chase that feeling forever. it makes him feel so much better about himself and gives his life a new purpose
he could never see himself as a father or a guardian - but if it's you who does, then that shall be it!
percy🧟♂️
percy stopped acting on his human instincts and emotions a while ago - although he still can feel/sense them, it's but a fading feeling and even if he wanted to act on them he couldn't due to the fact that his vocal cords are damaged and his whole body - including his mind - is paralyzed and doesn't feel like his own
yet this... this does ignite something within him.
it's not hatred, a reflex or some other kind of urge a body would have - it, is fact, love. a caring type of love. the love you observe from fathers' eyes as they hold their child in their arms, the painful glint in them filled with so much care and the need to protect
it hurts trying to act up on it and verbalize how much he appreciates you, as he knows he can't get further than a few coughs and groans and perhaps shaky or cramped limbs, and he's aware of how dead and lifeless he looks
yet he can't appreciate your attention and trust enough. although he might just respond to your energy with a slight nod or a bleak look in your direction, know that deep within his body his dead heart seems to start beating whenever he sees you coming his way
bane perez🦌
the monster of darkwoods? minotaur? half man half deer? bane has heard it all, and obviously got tired of it
but "dad" ? that's a new one.
not that he doesn't like it though.
once "dad" nonchalantly slips from your mouth as you two tend to the flowers in the woods, he might just never be the same
bane, in fact, likes being a dad. he would want to be one if the circumstances weren't, you know, that he was a half dead man trapped inside of a manor basically forever
he has a strong urge to protect and teach and love, cupping his strong, calloused hands as gently as pillows around every fallen baby bird that he finds and cradling it back to its nest
that's how bane sees your relationship - he may not have experience with caring for humans, but he'd sacrifice anything to bring you towards him and care for you as if you were his own child
leo beck☄️
it's a bittersweet feeling, really.
as much as he loves being there for you, following you around and showing you the right way, it never goes without the guilt at the end of the day.
he thinks of lisa, where she is now. if she's sleeping as deeply as you after he has tucked you into bed. if she ate as much as you did after he made you breakfast. if she smiled as widely as you after he has retold you the same story he always tells yet again.
it's the guilt of not being able to provide the first time after providing the second, to love after not having the time to the first time, and it all makes him spiral into self hatred
it makes him want to protect you even more, now that he already lost so much
as he reaches to hug you, he always manages to find something of lisa's on you. the mole on your arm starts to look similar to the one that his beloved lisa had. there seems to be something of lisa's in your laughter, too.
yet, he has to deal with the harsh present as rationally as possible - accept and love you as dearly as he should have accepted and loved before, and pray for his daughter every night, when everyone is already asleep
servais le roy🪄
i fear it might be below this man's pride to admit his care for you..
but, one thing's for sure, and that's that it occupies his mind too much for his own liking.
"dad", he mumbles, as he cleans his wands and folds his colorful cloths. he'd gladly scoff at it, but for some reason he just lacks the power to do so
he can't get it out of his head. he's not fit to be a dad, hell, he doesn't even behave as appropriately as someone who should be looked up to, why are you so nice and dear to him?
yet, all these new, troubling thoughts will soften mr. servais' rock hard heart over time. mmyep.
he just has to embrace it at this point, you know what? burst out of his shell and take you to get food, or go watch a movie or read with you. tend to you when you're sick and talk to you until you feel at ease. how could he not?
he still doesn't know what you could possibly see in him, but since you already look up to him, might as well make himself worth it.

3, 5, 8, 12, 13, 15, 21 for Vivienne and Rae?
Ooooh thank you so much!! <3
25 Character Questions For The Writer
3. What makes your character’s skin crawl?
Vivienne: Watching people butcher fish, specifically descaling them. It always used to bother her a little bit (she has no problem eating fish, just can't watch the process), but ever since it became a siren that discomfort grew to a new level. You know how you can look at a cheese grater and your brain can kinda autofill what it would feel like to be scraped by it? Imagine that with a descaling knife while you're walking past the fish market on legs that only temporarily exist. Yeah. It's not pleasant.
Rae: Seeing other people drunk, high, or otherwise inhibited. It doesn't quite activate her phobia the way experiencing it herself would, but it still leaves her incredibly uncomfortable.
5. Tell us about something that your character finds sweet.
Vivienne: Any time Wojchek admits the way he cares about her. He's generally a pretty gruff, stoic man, and while Vivienne has no doubt that he loves it, having that verbal communication is special.
Rae: When Warren chooses to play the gentleman, like giving her his jacket when she's chilly or coming around the car to open her door for her. There are a lot of things he does that she finds sweet, but especially those little moments.
8. Is there something your character deeply regrets from their past?
Vivienne: Marrying her first husband. Don't get her wrong, she loves Wojchek and is generally satisfied with how things turned out in the end, but it still wouldn't choose to become a siren and would rather have had a normal, loving marriage from the beginning.
Rae: Honestly... no. There are definitely some things in her life that could have been better, but if she starts picking apart her mistakes, she'll end up picking apart her entire life, and she doesn't want that. Her mistakes and hard times are also what led to the best times of her life, and those are definitely worth the struggle.
12. Who had the most negative impact on your character’s life?
Vivienne: Her first husband Florian, by far. Abusive, manipulative- oh yeah, and he's directly responsible for it becoming a siren, since he threw it overboard and left it to drown.
Rae: Technically speaking, Apocalypse. He put both and Warren through absolute hell and put so many hurdles between them and their happiness, it was without a doubt the worse stage of Rae's life.
13. Who had the most positive impact on your character’s life?
Vivienne: Hm... tough to say. Honestly, I haven't quite figured out the intricacies of its life outside the main story, so I'm not sure I can answer this one.
Rae: Her parents and grandparents. They raised her to be who she is - a total spitfire, but also a deeply understanding and caring person who isn't afraid to back down from what she loves.
15. Who does your character look up to and who do they despise?
Vivienne: Similarly, I'm not sure I have enough laid out for it to answer this one just yet. I think these will be details I'll discover when I get around to writing her, which I haven't been able to yet.
Rae: Looks up to her grandmother, who was an inspiration to her both as a child and as an adult. As for who she despises... it would be easy to say Apocalypse, and that's true, but she's also never met someone she wanted to punch in the face more than Warren's father. Interacting with him even for just a few days took every ounce of her self-discipline.
21. Does your character have trust issues?
Vivienne: Absolutely. The more mundane side of things comes from the abuse she sustained from her first husband, and how hesitant she is to place herself in the same position again, but there's also the matter of being a siren - plenty of sailors looking for a little prestige, who would be eager to have some pretty purple fins tacked up in the captain's quarters... it's a pretty open person when it comes to surface matters, but definitely doesn't let itself get close easily.
Rae: Not any more than a normal person, except perhaps when it comes to her phobia/anxiety issues. Most of the time she's fine, but there's a short list of people she trusts to know how to manage one of her panic attacks or other anxiety responses.
(tagging @shrinkthisviolet since she asked to be tagged in things for my X-Men OCs :D)

15 for Gremia, 6, 17 for Ymir, 2 for Damian
Unhinged prompts
15. This character is sent a scam email by the fae requesting they type in their name for a free prize. Do they fall for it?
for Gremia
Yeah, I'm sure he'll fall for it….
I can't say he's very gullible or too naive. At least the adult Gremia we know in the game has been tested enough by life not to trust anyone. But… He's still capable of believing in miracles and his own luck. And it will hurt him deeply to find out otherwise. I think his self-esteem will drop below zero, and he'll even cry. It's almost like a kid finding out that Santa Claus doesn't exist. I mean, he LET himself to believe it, and it turned out to be scam. Oh no... I already feel sorry for him.
Probably Damian can save him <3
6. How would this character answer the trolley problem? Then how would they actually act if faced with it?
for Ymir
Hm… I think nobody is able to tie Yuri or Jolan to the tracks, so probably Ymir won't be too concerned about this problem… (He would drive this trolley even maybe)
Tho he may come up with the solution - if Jolan restrains the trolley with herself, Ymir will release all the captives and thank the stars for that outcome xd
But if he is faced with the problem of “one or many”? No doubt he will choose one more important to himself, hardly anything will make him hesitate
17. What gives this character the most comfort?
for Ymir
Ymir is probably a man of luxury and comfort. Also a carian, a speaker, a teacher - and generally someone who is Very much in touch with people. (I'm not sure, though, that Manus Metyr has many visitors now, but still)
His comfort is probably solitude, silence, and a spacious robe instead of clothes. I have a headcanon that Ymir has varicosis and often has sore legs. Therefore, he needs pillows, massage, warm water, and foot care. Probably the most comfortable thing for him is to take a hot bath and then spend time completely alone lying in bed and reading or drawing (Although Yuri can't interfere with his comfort. On the contrary, Ymir feels very at ease with children, and thus seeks their company)
2. Favorite hc for this character?
for Damian
I think I've posted most of my Damian headcanons here at least once, and the other part you've read in my works yourself, and me and you also discussed some headcanons xD So I'll chose this one:
Damian is a good liar. And even though he tried to be honest with everyone and straightforward, there are a lot of lies in his life. He lied to his parents a lot. Not just when he was a kid! His poor religious kin found out too late that he was working for the Church, and never found out that Damian had become criminal element and a killer right hand of another criminal Micolash.
Micolash preferred to consult him if he was to have conversations with Laurence or Willem. Because Damian didn't usually put his true point of view at the center of the conversation, he put the goal to be achieved at the center. And he's very persuasive when he says something. His lies are hard to recognize, though Micolash got used to it and has learned to sense it.
Damian is able to accuse you of something and make a hundred arguments, even though you both know it's all untrue. And you know, everyone will believe him xd His reputation works for him
He lied to Gremia, and it was hard on both of them. Because Gremia trusted him unconditionally and believed that they have same view of life. And Damian thought he could always be honest with Gremia, but life and ambitions didn't allow it.
When they met again, both tired of life, I think Damian was too broken to try to lie or withhold anything. And Gremia understood him well enough to keep silent when necessary, or to tell the truth in his place <3
He started lying to Micolash as well, when Damian stopped being sure of what the School of Mensis was doing, and when he put his own faith in Kos above Micolash's ambitions.
By the way, it's worth adding that Micolash lied to him quite often. But for some reason Damian was not offended, and in most cases he knew in advance that he was being deceived. Most of the time it was harmless lie that would not hurt anyone. So they could just exchange understanding glances and continue the dialog.
He's trying to save with lies, keep someone safe and help someone close to him. And sometimes he just feels tempted to lie for his own gain and may do so.
He lied a lot to himself in the first place. And has always had difficulty in life trying to get along with himself. And that's perfectly normal

More Ranger's Apprentice Headcanons Because I Have No Self-Control (featuring bullet points!!)
I'm back on my bullshit, so buckle up buckaroos, it's gonna be a bumpy ride
ALSO, before I forget, I received an anon ask about if it was okay to write about my headcanons and such, and that is absolutely 100% okay!! I would love to see other people's interpretations of my thoughts, that's why I put them out there, so please feel free to interpret them as write about them, just give me credit, and let me know so I can see it!
Halt snorts when he laughs, but only if you really get him going. When he does, he'll turn bright red and try to cover his face, which works all well and good if the reason he's laughing so hard is because someone caught him super off-guard with a joke. However, nine times out of ten, he's only laughing that hard because someone decided to test his ticklishness (usually Crowley, but the others do it too once they find out), which means he can't cover his face without almost immediately moving his hands to grab the wrists of whoever's attacking him out of reflex
Speaking of Halt being ticklish, he would never admit it even under threat of death, but he actually doesn't mind being tickled. It shows him that people care enough about him to get close and try to make him laugh. He also finds it kind of nice to just be able to let loose and laugh when he usually can't out of fear of either vulnerability or tarnishing his reputation. Needless to say, if he lets you get away with tickling him, it's the ultimate sign of trust (kind of like a cat laying so its stomach is exposed and trusting you not to attack it)
When Halt is focusing on something, he has a habit of sticking his tongue out of the corner of his mouth (which I believe is something Horace actually noticed in KoC)
Halt has a bad habit of biting the sides of his fingers when he's nervous. If Pauline or Crowley happen to notice, they'll gently bat Halt's hands away from his mouth
If there is ever a mission that requires disguised infiltration in a high-class setting, Pauline and Crowley will almost always be the ones to handle it - and not just because of how well they coordinate off each other and work together. The main reason is because they both noticed how tense and jumpy being in that sort of environment made Halt after their first such mission. He never brought it up to them, and until KoC, they didn't understand the reason why (though they both had their theories)
Due to his royal upbringing, Halt is actually a very good singer and can play the piano as well (I don't know if the piano existed at this point in time. It's fiction. leT ME HAVE THIS)
Halt said that he can't face a plate of shellfish without throwing up, but he was underselling just how much even seeing a serving of shellfish deeply disturbs him. He'll usually start having a panic attack within the first few minutes, his mind telling him that the food is laced in poison, and that he is 16 years old and back in Clonmel.
Halt and Will both have severe PTSD, but only Halt is ashamed by it. At first, Will was ashamed of the way he was affected by his trauma, but Halt and his other friends shut that down really quick. Halt however, never had anyone who knew about what he went through, so he never had anyone to tell him that his struggling was okay. He was afraid that Will would end up the same way as he did, which is why he fought so vehemently against Will thinking he was doing a "bad job" of handling his trauma
Halt is very much a "do as I say, not as I do" kind of teacher. I mean look at him. This man's never even heard of self-preservation, but god forbid anyone he cares about pulls some self-sacrificing bullshit (that he pulls maybe 30 seconds later)
#ranger's apprentice#you may notice that I seem quite fond of the Halt is ticklish headcanon#that's because I feel the same way about it as Halt does#and it's how my friends and I express affection (also it makes Halt more human)#halt o'carrick#pauline dulacy#crowley meratyn#will treaty#you can pry these headcanons from my cold dead hands#look me in the eyes and tell me Halt isn't the most hypocrite hypocrite to ever hypocrite when it comes to putting yourself in danger#ticklish!halt#i think that's everything

“there are always problems in the J/K relationship, but that's a rant for another time”
Can today be the day that rant comes? I feel like talking to you today!
Where do I even begin?
There's really no denying how comical Jackie and Kelso are together. Their dynamic felt funny and realistic for two popular/good-looking teenagers in high school, and only high school. You know they would never make it past that, and that's the way it should have been. Because the longer they stay together, the more they keep going in circles.
Again and again it's the same thing. They gush at how hot they are, how great they look together, how much they "love" each other. He is an unfaithful lecher. She demands he be something he isn't and will never be, the type of girl to try and change a shitty man. He is an immature man-child and remains that way for the entirety of the series (being a father changed absolutely nothing, even though it should have, it didn't). With him, she is insecure, incredibly bossy, rude, and looks down on him. She wants him to be a man, desperate to make him her ideal man, but he just isn't. But he is beautiful, and she can't let go of that. This was one of her (stupidest) dilemmas when trying to choose between him and Hyde. She tells Donna, "Michael is so beautiful. And you spend a lot more time looking at someone than you do talking to them." My god.
So they fight, break up, fall back in "love", then break up. Rinse and repeat. The poor excuse of a spin-off tells us that this has not changed. Jackie is essentially a woman-child the same as how Kelso remains a man-child. It is all superficial and terrible, something the spin-off refuses to acknowledge because of reasons that don't at all matter to canon. They are the same miserable people they were decades ago.
Kelso "loves" Jackie so much that his eyes never stop roaming around other women. He begins his "love" by flirting with and kissing Pam Macy behind the gym. He is deeply sorry only once he is caught. He continues his "love" for her by having sex with Eric's sister, then eventually having sex with seemingly every woman in Point Place who happens to blink his way. He does this while he is with Jackie and while he is trying to "win" her back from Hyde. He "loves" her by betraying her trust constantly and throwing a hissy fit when she's finally had enough of it. He whines when she moves on, even though he runs off like a coward to sleep with all of California. He gives Hyde a hard time over a hurt ego, even though he has never been a respectable boyfriend to Jackie.
Meanwhile, Jackie for the first half of the original show wants to believe that he can change. He's got the looks, and the charm, and if he is able to land a good job and support her, she believes they will be set for life. She pictures a future with him that is only a fantasy. When they are apart, she idealizes him. But once she is within his vicinity again, reality hits. In this relationship, she constantly comes off as vain, annoyed, and unsupportive, especially when he began his modeling job, something she felt entitled to. She also seems to care more about her money and status than she ever did about him as a person. She doesn't respect him and dismisses his feelings. He once tries to communicate this to her, but she tells him it is the stupidest thing she's ever heard. He is a fool, yes, but the way she shot that back like it was a joke would hurt anyone. She cares more about herself than she does for Kelso. With Kelso, only what she wants matters.
It is a relationship that is doomed to either fail or be miserable forever. After over a decade since the show ended, the writers decided on the latter, erased any and all character development (primarily Jackie's, which they've already destroyed once with season 8), and attempted to glue the pieces of waste together to resemble whatever the characters once were, essentially reviving something that should have stayed buried in the landfill.

୨⎯ "for @justsomeoneintoomanyfandoms " ⎯୧
ᴠᴏʟᴜᴍᴇ : ▮▮▮▮▮▮▯▯▯ PAUL VERLAINE !
❆ i am not sure whether or not you have read the novels, but i think paul verlaine is the perfect bsd matchup for you in many ways, the way your traits and values mash with one another, the lessons you could learn from one another, etc. in all honesty, i do not enjoy mbtis, but from how you have describe yourself, i can tell you are someone who can benefit from his practicality and logic, since it is so ingrained within his being to an almost inspiring level. the two of you can balance each other out greatly!
❆ now here’s the thing: he might actually be a little bit of a turn off for you at first. not only is he an assassin, he’s a deeply troubled individual who takes to his trusted people as support, heavily leaning on them emotionally (but subtly). i see the two of you meeting in some sort of garden, perhaps near your university, that he stumbled upon by accident. your friends perhaps, invited you out and ended up getting drinks, and you needed some time to yourself. cue the man himself entering. the atmosphere is languid and comfortable, enough that it cites him to make a remark, and you to follow along. many of these meetings occur, and develop. he’s a gentleman too, so count on him on treating you right!
❆ as for your hobbies, he would love to be able to talk with you about what you have read or read your writing! you can trust him for his honest opinion!
❆ he deeply appreciates your consideration for others, and i think he’s just the tad bit scared of what you’d think about him, since he has such a past and such a mindset. the guy doesnt even think of himself as a human being and started spiraling after that incident, and he finds it refreshing having you as a listener. i think you’ll make him start actually feeling better about himself and aid him in starting to curb those horrid thoughts he has had. he would most definitely get to know you at your most vulnerable and still embrace everything you have shown him. someone like him has a deeper appreciation and perspective to flaws, and he can really make you feel more secure about them. you do say you have high self worth though, but he is a very worried individual! but he gets it with time, and finds your jokes funny. he would most definitely admire your diligence and discipline, and being an observant person, would see the small signs of your overworking and stop you. not only that, you seem like a very indulgent person, so he’ll definitely be taking advantage of this to get a bit spoiled by you in some way (and then feeling a bit guilty afterwards).
ᴠᴏʟᴜᴍᴇ : ▮▮▮▮▮▮▯▯▯ ARTEM WING !
❆ a man who’s honest… caring, treats you like you deserve from the beginning… thats artem right there 💯
❆ the two of you are super cute together! artem is very awkward with his feelings, and you being an introvert means that he usually approaches you first, and then you attempt to make conversation with him too, and then he just freezes up. i think he’s the type to be very deeply in adoration of all your features and characteristics, especially your upright morals and values! but, he really doesn’t like how others sometimes would step out of boundaries and make you uncomfortable. he’s gonna be a bit protective of you, but nothing that’s very extreme or bad! and your organization is a boon for him, since being with someone who’s clumsy like himself would make it more burdensome than anything.
❆ absolutely indulges with you in your hobbies, even if he isnt a big fan of video games, but he still plays them if it is multiplayer! he probably practices in secret in order to get better but you didnt hear this from me. artem definitely is interested in the anime and other films you may watch, and will get very excited when you watch the war and art films he likes!
❆ i think he’d really like cuddling up with you! many date nights are half torn between casual like going to your place or his, or very fancy dinners. let this man spoil you‼️
ᴠᴏʟᴜᴍᴇ : ▮▮▮▮▮▮▯▯▯ LING YAO !
❆ finally… the resident funnyman is here! (most fma characters are pretty funny though but you get what i mean!) he will your days filled with laughter and happiness! i think he’d take a lot of inspiration and motivation from how you are as a person— especially your ambition! you are someone he can always rest with in times of turmoil and trust their words. the palace is filled with those of unorthodox and vile characters, and your judgement and advice is something he is counting on! your values align superbly with his too!
❆ you definitely attracted him with your pokerface and your sense of humor! not only that, placing him in modern times, he would enjoy all of your hobbies; even writing with you! if we go by actual historical accuracy like how arakawa intended, chinese gentlemen, especially of someone of ling’s standing, is expected to be able to write poems, play instruments, in short terms. he’s definitely able to play music for you to set some background music for your writings, and he’ll definitely be curious about your writings! he definitely gives some very good insight onto your works
❆ well read, harmonious, organized, can take care of yourself and others, having filial piety….this is good makings for an empress, no? ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) he’s definitely roping you back to his country after you’ve finished all your businesses here. maybe your family members too. lavish gifts and a heavy dowry will be given! you seem like the type to not be easily impressed, and he will spend days thinking of ways to impress and have your favor on his side! this is the most wholesome matchup here, you two would be so cute together :D
[a/n] enjoy my cooking!! i hope my assumptions about you based on your ask were all correct, and that you like your matchups! if you want, i can definitely state out runner ups. for bsd, i also considered ranpo for you. for tears of themis, it was marius, and for fma, i actually didnt have anyone else. hope you enjoyed!!

anyway--
some (head)canons (idk if it's a canon or a headcanon when it comes to oc x canon) about my killjoy oc Nitro Noodle with the other killjoys aha-
⚝ the other killjoys call him "noodles" like a cute nickname, but only they can call him that, no one else from other groups can. He's non binary but doesn't really mind being referred to as a guy since he does prefer to present a bit more masculine
⚝ his mental state isn't exactly the best, the bandages on his forearms aren't just for aesthetic, he does pretend that it is for aesthetic to not make people worried about him because he cosntantly feels like a burden, and when people worry about him, that feeling gets worse or mixes with fear and stress from not knowing the difference between someone being worried or angry at him, the only person he doesn't feel scared that he might be a burden to is poison
⚝ despite actually needing help and care from other people, mostly from poison due to his VERY fragile mental health state, he absolutely hates being infantilized more than anything else in the world. He is NOT a child, this is a 20 year old man able to do MANY things by himself, he just happens to need help from another person with other things because of the neurodiversity and mental health conditions and despite him being very kind and polite to everyone, he's obviously not gonna be nice anymore if you treat him like a child
⚝ noodles sometimes pulls poison's hair as a dumb joke (he did it for the first time to make them dodge when an exterminator tried to aim for their head so- they just let it slide since that saved them in the first time)
⚝ of all the 4 adults in the group the one he's closest to the most is poison, mostly from experiencing gender similarly and a feeling of comfort and safety from being near them as well, but there's other aspects as well that aren't only those two, of course. It's visible by the fact that he has red hair too, he never hid that it was because of them that he dyed his hair red (i like to think that poison is autistic and partially verbal, which i admit is for no other reason than just wanting to have more things in common with them)
⚝ he doesn't go outside much because of an extreme fear of the outside world and of other people, specially in the daytime when people are outside more, he often stays inside the diner making bombs or chemical weapons and goes absolutely fucking crazy with anger if someone touches his chemistry equipment (he doesn't get straight up hostile and violent, but you WILL get yelled at.) Except if it's just the girl, then he's not so harsh on her but he still wants her as far away from his equipment as possible, for her own safety of course. Due to his fear of the outside, poison often goes out with him to ensure he's not gonna have a panic attack outside, sometimes one of the other 3 go instead, but it's mostly poison
⚝ he often makes and exchanges drugs, bombs and chemical weapons for things that the others might be in urgent need of and making sure everyone's safe and healthy, but sometimes he does it to get some nice things or gifts to the others, mostly to make up for an inconvenience he caused and feels deeply guilty for, even if the other 4 say it's okay and that it wasn't that bad, and even afterwards, the guilt and shame just don't go away
⚝ he hates being touched by other people, but when he trusts them enough he becomes very clingy and follows them everywhere, he was afraid it would be bothersome so it took him a while to get comfortable with showing affection to the others
⚝ he has somewhat of a trauma with stares and visual contact from the times he lived in the urban part before running away, sometimes he makes effort to try to look into people's eyes when requested to do so despite the panic that it brings to him. His friends always make sure to let him know he doesn't need to look at them if he doesn't feel comfortable with it.
⚝ sometimes he feels so much like a burden that he has the urge to run away from the diner and never come back, he only did it once and never did it again after somehow being found by poison with melted eyeliner all over their cheeks and not speaking a single word on the way back home, not to ignore him but simply from being unable to just think or say anything, noodle thought they were angry, he still thinks they were angry in that day, that all of them were angry, even after they seemed relieved that he was found, even if they never, ever raised their voices at him. He can't tell the difference.
⚝ he stole a bl\ind van once lol. The van is still there because he took off the tires and the battery to make sure no one would be able to steal it, he sleeps inside the van sometimes when he's feeling unsafe near everyone else. Only poison and the girl are allowed inside the van. I might draw him in the van some day.
i might add more things later in another post, i can't really think of anything else right now asdajisdkhalj

For the ask meme, "hate" for Bravo and "mistake" for Anti
Hate: What does your OC hate? Why? How do they act towards the object of their hatred?
Bravoman is especially sensitive when it comes to his identity as a hero. Having lived his entire life as a background character with no particular talents or skills and then suddenly being thrust into the foreground was a trip and a half. People noticed him? Cared about him? Admired him?? Impossible!
When Anti came along, Bravoman mistook him for a simple fan. Just some kid who was real good at making costumes and had a passion for drama. But when Brave Man came onto the scene? Bravo felt an anger like nothing else before it. Even he didn’t realize that it went a lot deeper than just “this jerk is profiting off of my image!” In actuality, it was “how dare he take the only thing that makes me special, makes people realize that I exist, and use my life-threatening situations for his own cheap stories?”
For the first time in Bravoman’s life, he had something that made him unique, something that he could feel proud of. And for the first time in his life, he genuinely hated someone. He was even willing to fight Brave Man in public over it at his own convention, until he was reminded that he couldn’t punch a civilian no matter how awful they were.
Even though they have since worked together to save the world on multiple occasions, Bravo still harbours dark and bitter feelings for his copycat rival. He hasn’t let it escalate beyond hostile remarks, eyerolls, or the occasional childish bickering, but he wouldn’t be too upset if Brave Man took a good smack in the face from a baddie from time to time.
Mistake: What's the worst mistake your OC ever made? What led to them making it? Have they been able to fix it? How have they moved on?
If one were to ask Anti what he thought his greatest mistake was, he would probably tell you that he makes a new mistake every day. Or that he is a mistake, just some walking talking accident with thoughts and opinions. He is rather dramatic that way.
In truth, his greatest mistake was a simple little thing that most children do without a second thought; trusting his own father.
Most kids are usually raised with love and affection. Anti didn’t receive any of that. And yet, he never stopped wanting his dad’s attention. Never stopped hoping that today would be the day that he would notice him. All he wanted was to spend some time with the man who created him. Share his interests with him, talk to him about the things he liked, have someone to give him a hug when he was having a bad day. What he got instead was silence, cold neglect, or if he was lucky, yelled at just for being a kid.
Their “relationship” ended the day his dad stopped seeing him as his unwanted son and as an experiment full of untapped potential. Even after Anti was finally taken away from his abusive father, he was deeply in denial about what he had gone through. His dad couldn’t be that bad. His dad would never hurt him without having a really good reason for it. Anti deserved it. He had to. Because if being hurt by his father wasn’t Anti’s fault, then he had to wake up and realize that his dad never loved him. He couldn’t bear the truth that he had never been loved or cared for before.
It wasn’t an easy or fast process. It took a lot of attention and kindness that he wasn’t used to for him to realize that the way his dad treated him wasn’t normal or okay. He still has a lot to learn about how kids are supposed to grow up with their families.
Anti continued to blame himself for his own abuse for a long time. If he did nothing to deserve what his dad did to him, then surely he deserved it just because he was foolish enough to trust him. It’s a learning process. At least now he knows that he isn’t supposed to be nervous or scared by the mere sound of his own parent’s voice. And now, he finally has a family and friends who cherish him deeply and are there for him on every step of his journey.

Btw I went back and reread the part in Old Bond where Seofon jumps in, fully ready to end Lu Woh and. That is a very cool scene. And a very cool thing he did
And like you said, Seofon is dropping his mask and letting the guy catch a glimpse of his powers, which is arguably the first time he's so readily done that, which shows not only how serious a threat Lu Woh is, but also how much Seofon cares about the MC. And that he can hold his own against this serious threat, which is great foreshadowing to and you where his other self presumably wrestles the wedges for fun
Anyway, considering that now the Dragons and the Eternals are on somewhat friendly terms with each other, Lu Woh watches everyone treat Seofon like a joke. Seofon, the man with the 5G boundary connection. I imagine Lu Woh is just standing there, sweating bullets. Doesn't he have to assume that the reason everyone brushes Seofon off like that is because they're all on that level of power, if not above it? That he's hanging out with a group of potential God killers?
I like him, but I'm fine with him being a bit scared of them like that. Serves him right <3
YESS YES YES YES.
Like i find the way Seofon drops the mask to be SO interesting considering he didn't even have a mask dropping moment in Seeds of Redemption when Seox was in danger yaknow? like, sure, he was actually working with the Crew of Enforcers then to drive Nehan out, but once Nehan was driven out, Seofon is still his chill self (which is why Tien and Feower especially really almost eviscerated him).
So like, we've seen Seofon seeing his companions being threatened before, but it's really the first time we see him fully drop the mask on that regard.
And like, of course the situations were still different in term of what Seofon saw of each fights and the intentions of the people hurting his friends, but also i think it tells a lot on how he could see Nehan (someone Seox could manage, especially once Seox decides to deal with it on his own), and how he immediately saw Lu Woh as a threat the moment dear Danchou wasn't able to keep up with him.
It says a lot about how much he cares for MC, about how much of a threat he considered Lu Woh, about how seeing MC collapse was both an indication of something going wrong and that Lu Woh was just this much of a threat--
But it's such a good moment to really see Seofon being serious, and you're so right, works as a perfect foreshadowing once we see Sieten't battle wedges for fun. Like of course he has this type of power.
as for that last observation i LOVE it. Having to see Seofon put on the charade again and no one brings it up is either means no one knows just how dangerous Seofon is and now they're all clowning him over his tummy hurting :( which is bewildering, or they're all on the same level enough to neglect him, which is even worse.
and meanwhile none of the others dragons really know how deeply scary Seofon can be (because like, there also was a private moment between Lu Woh and Seofon just after the battle, because Lu Woh tried to sneak in to heal MC and Seofon was being a watchdog and threatened him). So it's such an eerie place to be.
Lu Woh deserves to be a bit scared, i think it's also kinda the point of Old Bonds. Old Bonds was all about how the dragons, being the wedges holding the world together, couldn't trust the skydwellers, mortals with soft bodies, with the responsibility and power that came with Bahamut's legacy inside of the Red Dragon.
Seofon scaring Lu Woh is one of the major way for it to happen. Because as Lucio realized in 000, the reason Skydwellers will always win despite being mortals and fragiles, is because once they band together and fight for one another, nothing can stop them.
Lu Woh was only testing the Singularity. He didn't care about the others lives around them. And he learnt the hard way that not only he can't underestimate the individuals on the crew as individuals, but that in their desires to protect one another they would call for greater powers than they would let anyone see in other circumstances.
Lu Woh was taught the exact lesson Lucio had to learn as well. Thank you Seofon for delivering it.
