[{ 🗡️}] - "Hard to believe we've been here for three days already. Although..it feels like it's been much longer.."

It had been a very eventful experience during their first few days in the Astral Plane. There was still a lot to learn about this realm, so far Vergil noticed a few things from his observations from each night. Whenever dusk would befall, this whole world would warp and change, several parts of the mirrored floors below would glitch, shift, warp and contort creating an environment too dangerous to run the risk of stepping venturing though. There was also another major factor, Vergil and Eden weren't alone in this world.

This place had these grotesque and warped creatures called The Glitched, according to some records they found here left by an unnamed traveler, these creatures were the lost souls of people who unfortunately got stuck in this realm, and never escaped, succumbing to the cellular glitch decay thus turning them into one of the glitched, empty shells of cellular data that only knew one thing, kill and corrupt, making more of them.

At night time, along with the unstable ground, during dusk, the glitched became incredibly stronger than usual -- all of these factors would force Vergil and Eden to find a place and camp out for the night, traveling through the daytime was much safer, it was far too risky to try and travel on foot normally after nightfall, this was another one of those nights. During the night, the duo discovered, that The Glitched couldn't climb, so campsite's were usually on top of cliffs or hills, high up enough so they were well out of sight

While Vergil and Eden still had a lot more to find out about this place, they were at least used to this odd and unusual world, and were slowly piecing together and solving the puzzle that was the Astral Plane. Clearly there were signs of someone else having been here in the past, but given how vast this realm was, he was sure that him and Eden were the only other two living souls to set foot in this realm again since this last mystery visitor. Regardless, there was one thing that was important. Vergil and Eden had seemed to finally gotten used to each other's company. There was this strange sense of unity he felt whenever he fought alongside her. It was hard to explain exactly, but one thing was for sure. Vergil was glad to be stuck here with Eden and not anyone else.

At first, she seemed like a bit of a headache, but his opinion on her began to change the more time spent here with her in this realm. The two of them were stuck here together, they both had made it this far already, so long as they kept it up, he was confident that the both of them would find a way out of here eventually.

Sat on top of a large hill, the two glanced at the darkness below, nothing could be heard but the calm breeze of the wind, and the heavily distorted groans and growls down below coming from the Glitched in their enhanced forms. Looking up at the glow of the artificial moon, Vergil and Eden talk about many things, differences from their world and other stuff.

Eventually, there's a comfortable silence that falls between them, peaceful tranquility as the two sit next to each other by the fire, looking up at the artificial sky above them. Eden suddenly shatters the silence with something he wasn't expecting to hear, though it did fill him with a sense of warmth, knowing that despite how they both abruptly arrived here, she was able to warm up to him so much -- just like he had warmed up to her in return.

Turning his head to face her, blue eyes meet her golden-yellow gaze, as he gently soaks in what she had just said to him. If being in his presence really helped her calm her, then he was glad he could do that much for her, especially in a hellish place like this.

[{ 🗡️ }] - "...Really?" A short pause, as he gathers his own thoughts before continuing.

[{ 🗡️ }] - "I've been dragged or pulled into several different universes, worlds, and even alternate realities. Each time, I was alone. While I managed, it took a lot longer to adjust to each world on my own world. This world, is by far, the most dangerous one I've ever ended up in..."

A long pause, that seems like its the end of his sentence, but it's not, he just gently bits his lip, before finally continuing, even moving an inch closer to her, but no further.

[{ 🗡️ }] - "That being said, Eden. I'm glad to have you here with me in this hellish landscape..it feels nice having someone I trust with me in a place like this.."

I recently got an on-campus job. During the interview process, I requested that I not be scheduled on Friday nights or Saturdays as I am a Jewish student.

My boss immeadiately brightened and rushed to explain - "Of course ! Of course! We want to accomodate you! We have another worker who takes off for Ramadan. Do you need to take off for Ramadan?"

I shook my head, incredibly confused. "Uh. That's. Not my jurisdiction. I'm good." Boss nodded but was sure to add "Let me know if that ever changes. We can help you with Ramadan."
