Come to think of it, would he even attempt this whole restitching thing just for his own selfish want to experience more to life than what he had been given? Maybe a bit, what did they call it, sappy. It's not like Ryuko wasn't aware of the kind of a person he turned out to be.

Ryuko held out her left hand, looking at the familiar red glove that she used to don in battle. She pulled that pin far too many times to count, that the scars that left had become a permanent reminder for her of those turbulent, but memorable times. It was only recently that she noticed that it was beginning to fade, and that brought her far too many morbid, self-deprecating thoughts.

The red in the Seki Tekkou was a bit darker this time, but it was still the similar red shade. It fit her hand perfectly even now, it was made just for her. Just like Senketsu was, is, and will always be. Would this be a memento for her to hold on to in case her worst nightmare come back to drag her down? It was still a scary thought, but for now, she gently pushed those thoughts aside. She needed this more than anything now.

Something solid to assure her that this is all real, and she wasn't dreaming. Senketsu is here, and will stay, for as long as they need each other.

Ryuko only curled up more in his arms, holding her left hand close to herself. Trying to feel all of him in that moment.
