Thank you for this tag, prev. It's nice to know I'm not the only one that gets angry seeing this effect on not just my but other people's fundraiser posts. Everyone wants to vote on the fun poll, nobody wants to actually do something to help the people the polls and posts are for

Today, after remodeling her ears many times, I figured out how to add the pink. I had to add the texture to the object first and then shape it into an ear. It's weird, but it worked. I also added colored textures to her hands, and feet, and made eyebrows.

Those details took me a whole day.

The next step will be the eyelashes and maybe her mouth when I have the time.

Look at her! Doesn't she look like candy?

Today, I learned how to create textures, and everything went well. But those stupid ears—the pink in them—are still missing! So I have the choice to add a texture I drew in Clip Studio or paint in Blender itself.

Adding the texture: The window (in the UVEditing tab) in which you can see the unwrapped object is there but doesn't show the texture, it's like it's invisible. You can move and scale it but you can't see it. But you can see it on the ears of the model itself (by the way looks strange too).

And after some moving and scaling Blender keeps crashing.

Coloring in Blender itself: I thought maybe color on this texture or a completely new white texture in Blender itself. It's not working, every time I "paint" on the model the computer starts loading after every stroke which can take 10 to 30 minutes and I still see no change on the model but on the texture itself (which this time shows up when I'm on TexturePaint tab)

And because it keeps loading with every stroke I have to force quit blender.

Ugh, I'm done for today.

I don't need you to mourn with us. You clearly don't view those lost as part of your community, so why would you mourn?

And I don't need you to comfort us. You've shown time and time again that you do not care for our pain, so why would I expect you to start now?

But I do need you to not celebrate our grief - to not treat our pain like a victory.

Because nothing has been gained here. Palestine has not moved closer to freedom. It has not gained ground, or resources, or allies. This does not move us closer to the end of the war, and if anything it strengthens Israel's resolve to continue fighting because the alternative is death.

So if you are celebrating, the only thing you are celebrating is death, and grief. And if you think that's worthy of celebrating, then I think you need to really think about if that's the sort of person you want to be.

*grabs you by the front of your shirt* Birds throughout the Cenozoic, including today, have significantly more in common with every other dinosaur than any dinosaur has to things like Dimetrodon or Mosasaurus or even Pteranodon. Dinosaurs are a specific family group and birds are extremely nested within it. Including prehistoric creatures in your media but specifically leaving out Cenozoic Dinosaurs is not only a disservice to dinosaurs, but to whatever thing you're creating and also prehistoric life in general. For the love of Gd, just add Gastornis or a Terror Bird or a Pelagornithid to your damn video game/cartoon/comic strip. Dinosaurs don't just *stop* at Archaeopteryx and I am literally losing my mind at this point, please, for me, just do it

(I love @paleopinesofficial and Amber Isle from @ambertailgames, I do, but the fact that there's Dimetrodons and Postosuchus-es and Thylacines and no dinosaurs closer to birds than Archaeopteryx is so infuriating I'm on the verge of tears)
