I don't need you to mourn with us. You clearly don't view those lost as part of your community, so why would you mourn?

And I don't need you to comfort us. You've shown time and time again that you do not care for our pain, so why would I expect you to start now?

But I do need you to not celebrate our grief - to not treat our pain like a victory.

Because nothing has been gained here. Palestine has not moved closer to freedom. It has not gained ground, or resources, or allies. This does not move us closer to the end of the war, and if anything it strengthens Israel's resolve to continue fighting because the alternative is death.

So if you are celebrating, the only thing you are celebrating is death, and grief. And if you think that's worthy of celebrating, then I think you need to really think about if that's the sort of person you want to be.

That’s what we tell my kids when they see another kid eating broccoli and they go “Ewwww”. It makes the other kid feel bad and may turn them off from something they like, especially if it’s not hurting anyone.

I hope I’m not coming off as pedantic or preachy here. But unfortunately, I’m a parent who also used to write for Wander Over Yonder; I have an almost pathological drive to get everybody to get along. So, some advice:

- Don’t try to shut down someone else’s creativity if it comes from an earnest place. Art is hard. Nobody likes being told their art is bad or invalid for whatever reason, especially after they’re willing to share it.

- Don’t ascribe personal, political, or emotional beliefs to someone based on what two cartoon characters they may want or not want to get together.

- The internet is forever and doesn’t get context. Think hard before you post something negative.

- If someone actually apologizes for something they’ve done that may have hurt others, ACCEPT THE APOLOGY. Give them the benefit of the doubt. If they’re trying to bury the hatchet, don’t dig up the hatchet and yell “BUT THE HATCHET, THO!!!”

Again, this doesn’t seem exclusive to any one ship or “side” or whatever. It comes up repeatedly and all over, and not just on our show. Please try to remain respectful and considerate of each other on here, or I swear I will send Donald back to the moon SO FAST...

Including prehistoric creatures in your media but specifically leaving out Cenozoic Dinosaurs is not only a disservice to dinosaurs, but to whatever thing you're creating and also prehistoric life in general. For the love of Gd, just add Gastornis or a Terror Bird or a Pelagornithid to your damn video game/cartoon/comic strip. Dinosaurs don't just *stop* at Archaeopteryx and I am literally losing my mind at this point, please, for me, just do it

I think it would be helpful for everyone to acknowledge that "Israel is killing a high number of civilians in Gaza AND THAT IS BAD AND WRONG" can and does coexist with "other countries also do pretty much this exact thing and worse literally all the time but Israel gets a much more aggressive response because of antisemitism and that is a legitimate problem". One does not negate the other. This is called
