I HC Gale, who is the canon cook in the party, and also the condition with the magic items, has sharing food as a love language. How would that develop with Zilvera? Considering I can see her at the first days with the new team trying to eat the least possible from other people's cooking in fear of being posioned, hence being the fact that at some point eats Gale's food without at least checking it first and maybe even asking for seconds as a signal of full trust.

It's the time I HC Gale's heart had been heavier with every moment when all they saw was one horror following another. He was painfully pondering if Mystra's demand was necessary. I also have quite a few HCs around this topic <3!

So Zilvera has several layers of strategies to avoid being poisoned:

A special set of utensils, plates, and bowls that would react and reveal most types of poison

Eating small amounts, at irregular times, and in irregular quantities

Consciously consuming poison to build immunity

Studying whenever she has the time

Never talking about her strategies—but Gale had figured it out since his eyes always wandering back to her.

And Cooking:

Zilvera doesn't cook. 1) She finds it troublesome, 2) is not picky about food, 3) has no interest, and 4) thinks it's a servant's job.

Gale's cooking and seasoning unconsciously aim to please Zilvera. Later on, he basically cooks to suit her tastes.

Zilvera can eat the same thing repeatedly. Gale absolutely cannot, he needs variations.

Much later, when they live together, they agree that if Zilvera upset Gale, she has to cook whatever he requests. (He usually order seafood just to see her frown. My HC romanced Gale is a terrible tease XD)

Things I loved about Diasomnia Arc: Deuce and Cater’s dreams

I just finished watching their dreams and I found a lot of things funny XD

Warning(s): if you haven't seen their dreams, ⚠️SPOILERS⚠️

1. The hair of these two, like, EXCUSE ME?😂, I love you guys, but one seems to have been scammed by a hair salon and the other one will lose his hair.

2. When they introduced each dorm in Deuce’s dream, like, everyone looked crazy/high.

3. The way Octavinelle students gasped when Deuce and Ace took out the book of the 810 rules of the queen of hearts, they were like: AND IT HAS A LEATHER COVER!

4. When Sebek hit Deuce with a book saying: BOOKS ARE NOT FOR HITTING!

5. When fake!Cater appeared like the savage bitch he’s (slay✨💅🏻✨), riding his skateboard.

6. How in some scenes Idia and Leona talked together in Cater’s dream.

7. The references to Alice in Wonderland in Cater’s dream.

8. When Leona got bored so he decided to go to sleep in the middle of the trial.

9. When Deuce dragged a sleeping Leona down the floor because he needed another witness and didn’t know what to do.

10. Leona was literally SNORING 😄

11. When fake!Cater said he heard the most important piece of everything but it was just Leona sleep talking about a sandwich he wanted.

12. Deuce literally dragged his friends and seniors into helping him.

13. When Riddle ordered Silver to take off his hat, I don’t know why, but I found it hilarious.

14. While Yuu and Grim denied knowing anything and Leona simply didn’t even try, Silver started talking about his tea he drinks to wake himself up after school.

15. RIDDLE BEING THE DJ, and he did his job with such a serious face

16. When Riddle made Silver eat a scone with a lot of jam and butter on top, it was cute for some reason

17. Deuce fighting with fake!Ace over his favorite food.

18. Real!Cater appearing like nothing just because he heard Leona was in Heartslabyul

19. The fact that Cater just needed to see darkness and the memories came to him by themselves, like, it kind of made me think that, yk, he LOVES Magicam, and if we think about it, influencers probably also lie about their lives there, and even if he’s an obsessed with the app, he’s pretty realistic/self aware.

20. When he went and protected Deuce and Grim, I think he really cares about his juniors 🥺

21. When Cater calmly smiles with drooping eyes, he looks soooooooo

22. The fact that Floyd, Deuce and Cater were like: nah, my friend/brother wouldn’t say that in his life, I know you’re fake; Cater even called them gross and kindly asked them to get the hell out of his sight.

23. When Deuce started his emotional speech because he thought Cater didn’t like life in Heartslabyul and Cater went like: ey, ey, ey! Wait a fucking minute!

24. Honestly, Cater’s dream is my favorite one until now because of the many references it has from Alice in Wonderland, and Deuce’s the second favorite because I found it funny, it was literally something like a mafia but inside the school lmao

First off I have to say this was my favorite panel I think, it’s so pretty. The faint glow! The colors! The cape over his shoulder! Amazing. This truly was Sky’s update, I loved every bit of focus he got. Jojo fed us well :D

So it looks like I was wrong about Sky reading everyone’s mail. He just immediately took off after the mailman instead (and spent all morning chasing him ha!),

Side note but I love the npc guy. He’s simple but still Zelda-y. the character design in this comic is just👌

Looks like the mailman has a list of who he’s supposed to deliver to, or at least that’s my guess. It could be a map maybe, but that probably wouldn’t do much good since he’s time traveling?? How does he do it. Don’t question the magic of the postman I guess.

A WIP you love: In Your Reflection (Stranger Things) by @stuffinggroves / Timetravelersunited In which Billy deals with hunger. Which I am so weak for in fics! Love this fic so far, it brings me joy.

An all-time favorite fic (AN, note that I wrote AN ... not THE): Grievance (Thor) by @peaceheather In which Loki is promptly and publicly adopted by a capable and caring Tyr. It's amazing. The whole "Odin's son, Tyr's son" series is amazing. I have it printed.

Hello, idea for traveling Hero Sakura in GOS!

After she ditched Kakashi and its been a few years in on her journey... she is starting to miss her patron god but moves on stubbornly, until one day she ends up fighting a terrifying, giant cyclops! Her leg is injured and before it can make a finishing blow, 4 arrows come out of no where. It distracts the beast long enough for a yak to come out of the bushes, scooping her up and running away to safety with her until a strange horn is sounded. The yak then takes her to a strange, young man with long hair and a lightning bolt embroidered into his green travelors cloak, by the name of "Gyatsu."(hi travelor Gai!)

He couldn't defeat the beast either, and ended up retreating. They both heard from the same group of people that this monster has been attacking their village, eating its people and stealing its sheep for its own. (I love Epic too XD)

So the two decide to work together to stop it...only problem: they can't actually talk with one another, they speak entirely different languages XD;;;

But the two are resorcegul and use a game of pictionary to come up with a plan, Sakura utilizes her knowledge of anatomy to deduce the beast's weaknesses, whilst Gai uses his knowledge of hunting and animal behavior, to find a way to trap the beast.

Both end up really impressed by the other's skills, bravery and strength, and after defeating the beast, they travel together for 2 more weeks before parting ways for their individual adventures. Both share a bit of knowledge on the areas they came from, and as much of one another's language they can teach in that time. Their time together is brief but they know their friendship is eternal as they part ways, each using the other's name as they travel to show they are a friend/ ally of the other hero, to get people to aid them in their quests.

Then 8 months later, Sakura runs into her old patron god Kakashi, dragging his brother around by an ankle. At first she thinks he's come back for her but instead he's looking for his reincarnated boyfriend, and asks her to point him in the right direction XD!!!

Still the two end up catching up before parting ways again, maybe Kakashi says how proud he is to see how far she's come, and gives her another gift before they go.

(This probably makes Sakura older than Gai in this Au, is that okay? Gai gets to have his first strong, female roll model to challenge his upbringing where women stayed home, and men went to work. And he's SUPER receptive to it. Down right excited to learn of this village where there are many powerful women who fight along side men like its no big deal! Maybe he'll one day go to this "Tonika" if he can.)

See, i wouldn’t have Sakura ditch Kakashi.

It’s kinda like in the musical where it’s very much Kakashi’s choice after she makes a terrible mistake/doesn’t follow threw with what he tells her to do. She acts like she’s fine with it but she also hates it because she feels abandoned, but Kakashi also realizes she needs to learn to ask for help/rely on those around her who are willing to help

And even though she’s older than Gai i think that’s something she could learn well from him. She needs to take in that lesson of teamwork instead of trying to do everything herself.

Travelling with Gai helps her realize that to be a hero she doesn’t need to do everything on her own

She’s allowed to work with others and rely on others and get help from others

Things Kakashi was trying so hard to teach her because she always tried to do everything on her own, even to the detriment of others, and he finally stepped back when her inability to work with others almost cost someone their lives

Like Kakashi had to intervene to save them and when he tried to talk to Sakura she simply insisted she was fine on her own, So Kakashi decided she could work on her own.

He clearly didn’t need him

But even just a few weeks travelling with Gai shows her that she’s able to rely on others, and after they split she actually starts to implement those lesson’s Kakashi tried so hard to teach her

And that’s when Kakashi comes back.

She gets herself into trouble and instead of thinking ‘i can get out of this on my own’ she calls to the god who has helped her do much and who tried so hard to guide her, and even though he’s on a desperate mission of his own he appears

He saves her (and this did need his intervention because it’s a case of Kakuzu targeting Sakura knowing that Kakashi still has a soft spot for her. She’s against a god and while she’s holding her own well enough she knows she needs help, and calls for it

Travelling with Gai was the first time she ever asked someone else for help, and Gai happily helped her without hesitation

He taught her some of his own skills, asked her to teach him, and just by being who he is really emulated that idea of teamwork that Kakashi wanted her to learn

WOOF well my friend, I like to be very detailed when it comes to explaining robot design! So strap in!

We'll start with a face!

A slightly or even heavily inhuman face is what really packs a punch! The fun work around with expression due to a lack of the normal human face is something fun and challenging! And I'm really into that!

I also think using real life helmets and masks are really great for figuring out a robot's visage. There are so many out there! It'd be cool to use those as inspo!

Lights for eyes are a favorite of mine! Especially if the glow changes based on intensity of mood!

Which is great if you combine that with an inhuman face!

Next is body!

Really shape language is the way to go! Pick a shape and go nuts! I do love verity in robot bodies just like with human ones, but in robot cases you can go HAM on the augmented body which is super fun, especially if you over exagerate! They don't have to have organs so again you can go HAM on design!

Referencing real life armor, just like masks, is a fun one as well! I even enjoy when a robot character pulls from human musculature systems! Especially with the idea that you can SEE each muscle at work when they move! I eat that shit up!

EXTRA LIMBS!!! This is fun in design because of the idea of how that would work with movement and also gestures when at rest! It's like a puzzle especially if you plan on drawing robots!

This isn't a requirement but a specific things I've noticed. If the robot can wear clothes, it makes them instantly more interesting. Why do they wear them? How do they feel about them? Do they even need clothes? Who cares!? It's hot XD

Lastly are just a few things that I find hot and fun!

Steam. Nothing hotter than literally showing signs of high body temp! Especially if this robot is in a fight! Talk about HOT XDD

LIGHTS LIGHTS LIGHTS! I adore the different colors and placement of things like biolights and the glowing eyes and even glowing teeth if you're feeling spicy! (Almost all my robot Ocs have glowing teeth and steam up alot)

Also I don't have to draw actual feet. I hate drawing feet XD

If they get to have a developed personality outside of just "I am a machine I do not feel" cause that lacks alot of the fun to be had with the kinds of questions you can ask with robot characters!

Augmented voices are a MUST! I wanna hear that bass! The weird electricity to the voice! It's so much fun!

As far as top five hottest robots? WOOF that's a toughy but l'd say probably in no specific order

Megatron from tfp- his design is PEAK transformers design! Just the right amount of inhuman and human so that he's readable! I love how expressive his face and really all of the tfp robots faces are! I think his shape language comes across perfectly alien, especially versus the rest of the cast! He also has scaring from his times as a gladiator and I think that's AWESOME! Also HE GOT A WALK AND WAIST WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM ME!?

The Giant from Iron Giant- while I wouldn't say he's hot and sexy, he's adorable and was my first robot crush uu. He's a true sweetie and his story is a tear jerker for so many reasons. His design is also CLASSIC and I love that about him! (It helps that he went crazy with grief and had all those weapons. Was really into that XDD)

X-49 from Samurai Jack- look him and his episode up! He's got everything I love about a robot design! He wears a cool 30's hat and coat and only wanted to find his pug Lulu! Very much loved him and his episode and thought his design was sleek as hell!

Zima from Zima Blue- while he is more human looking than the rest, I was so enamored with his powerful story and seeing him evolve from a little pool cleaner to a tall stoic artist looking for purpose! His last scene was also a favorite because of the way you could SEE how he was put together!

Ultron from Avengers Age of Ultron- To be blunt, I'm NOT a big fan of marvel movies and Ultron was the last movie I saw. It wasn't a great movie but ULTRON DUDE!? GAWD you wanna talk about HOT? He follows all my attractive robot bullet points and then some! I don't remember anything from that movie outside of his scenes and I think a character death who I didn't care about since he was under developed. BUT I TELL YA WHAT I'll watch that movie just for him.

I could go on for hours about this and honestly would've listed alot more robots but I wanted to add a bit of verity to the list!

Raphael really thought it was the end, didn’t he? I can't imagine how surprised and confused he must have been, to see the person, that he, is totally not crushing on, coming to save him, when it would only be an "inconvenient waste of time" (by devil standards, since, what use is he to Tav now???), time that could be better spent by chasing after those who DO have the orphic hammer, plus, now that Raphael is out of the equation, tav would be getting to keep the crown for themselves, so... why would they save him???🥺😭

If you could be the Middle Earth race you would like to be, which would it be?

There's always been something about Numenor that I've really liked - in its glory days, not its decline. And yes, I consider that a different race than what I already am, because they were much more long-lived and robust than we are today.

2. If you were the Middle Earth race that your personality most matches, which would it be?

Hobbit. I like to stay at home, stick to my routines, and eat good food. No adventures, please. Makes you late for dinner.

3. When did you first come into contact with Tolkien's work? Who or what introduced you?

My dad is entirely to blame XD One time when I was six and my brother was eight, we'd just been on a long trip and were severely jetlagged to the point that we were getting up at 3 a.m. and such. So my dad, in a desperate attempt to bore us and get us to fall asleep, started reading The Hobbit to us. I'm sure he thought the language would be so far above our heads we wouldn't understand it, but his plan backfired, and we kept begging for him to read more, poor guy.

(Secretly, it did go way over my head, but I still liked it - and would rather listen to a book being read to me than lying in bed in the darkness. I walked away with no real understanding of what had happened - all I remembered were a bunch of dwarves that I imagined like the ones in Snow White, a spooky forest with black squirrels, and the impression that Hobbits were little anthropomorphic hedgehog things with waistcoats.)

Fast-forward a few years, and in 2001 my dad decided we were old enough for him to try reading LotR to us. I'm not sure if the impetus for that was that he'd heard they were making movies of it and he wanted us to read the book first, but the timing was impeccable. At the age of 10, I was much more able to grasp the language and the story (though I labored under the mistaken impression that Merry was a girl for an embarrassingly long time), and I liked it a lot.

But then we went to see the movie...and in those three hours, my life completely and irrevocably changed. I remember staggering out of the theatre, dazzled by the normal, everyday December sunlight, and wondering how everybody could just...carry on with their lives when such ineffable beauty existed in the world. As soon as we got home, I grabbed the copy of TTT we were reading together and ran off to my room to read it myself, because I could read so much faster. My life has never been the same since ^_^

4. What passage in Tolkien's books or in any of the films/shows/media speaks to you the most?

There are so many great passages, but the one that has always stood out clear and beautiful, like the star peeking out from the clouds over Mordor, is this passage from TTT:

Sam looked at him. The early daylight was only just creeping down into the shadows under the trees, but he saw his master's face very clearly, and his hands, too, lying at rest on the ground beside him. He was reminded suddenly of Frodo as he had lain, asleep in the house of Elrond, after his deadly wound. Then as he had kept watch Sam had noticed that at times a light seemed to be shining faintly within; but now the light was even clearer and stronger. Frodo's face was peaceful, the marks of fear and care had left it; but it looked old, old and beautiful, as if the chiselling of the shaping years was now revealed in many fine lines that had before been hidden, though the identity of the face had not changed. I'm disabled personally and I really like how you tackled disability and ableism so far. I live in a joint family so there are a lot of options. But the top two would be my brother(not my actual sibling but first cousin; when you live together it’s the same thing tho) or my dadi. So I met this guy in that second group. I was like 23 and he was like 27. He was sociable and open and played a good game and all that. Suddenly one day I see he's sent me a text on messenger going like "hi pretty :)"

I was frozen. I was looking at my screen going like "he for real?" I had never had someone experience interest in me before, and it was the first time he was being so upfront about it, so I didn't know what to do and I left him on read.

But we did meet a couple days later for a game. He took me aside and tried to explain himself BUT IT WAS SO CRINGE. He was like "I didn't mean anything by it, I could have said anything else, I don't know why you completely ignored me" and I can't properly translate what he said but if I could you would understand how cringe his attempt at explaining was. I was open about how awkward that made me feel... by barely speaking. I was shrugging and barely said anything to him. He didn't push me or make me feel uncomfortable, but the mere effort to try and cover up himself after he was left on read after HE initiated romantic interaction had me feeling so, so awkward that this is all I remember from this dude now.

Oh there was also another time where another guy I knew very vaguely from my university started chatting with me and like ten minutes into the conversation he asked me if I was interested in sex, I told him no and then he said "ah okay understood :)" and then he blocked me. Jouno already knew who was aggressively pounding on his office door. The two biggest idiots in the Hunting Dogs: Teruko and Tecchou. He scrunched his nose as a foul odor from behind the door crept up on him. Whatever it was, he wanted it gone. He had a plan: pretend he wasn't there until they lef--

"Oi, Jouno, we know you're in there! Open up, Damn it! Your captain's commanding you!" Teruko demanded in her usual high-pitched squeaky voice, now banging on the door. Still in line with his original plan, Jouno only remained silent since the last thing he wanted was to let the two smelly intruders into his clean, precious space.

"Captain, maybe he's not in there. It is almost lunch time, so he--" Tecchou started.

"Shut up! We already checked the break room, so--" Teruko suddenly went silent as her hand passed over the door knob, "Hey, it's unlocked..." Jouno winced as he heard her twist the knob and storm in along with Tecchou--not reacting fast enough to use his ability and escape the scene. He cringed as the smell assualted his senses; it was one that was too familiar--Captain Fukuchi's vomit. He impulsively plugged his nose as his face twisted. "See, Techhou, told'ya he was in here. What do have to say for yourself, huh, Jouno?"

Jouno only turned away disgustedly. "I didn't open the door for a reason, Captain. Some of us value hygiene around here. Plus you two stink--unless you're here for a reason, disrespectfully, leave." Jouno coughed dramatically, "I'm about to pass out."

Shock crossed Teruko and Tecchou's faces from the blatant rudeness, and before his hot-headed senior could go off on Jouno for 'disrespecting his elders', Tecchou butted in. "The captain threw up after drinking too much again, so we tried to clean it up since he has a meeting in an hour, but the smell won't go away, even though we tried everything." He clenched his fists sadly, "I even put flowers all over the pile on it to cover up the smell...I guess they died for nothing..."

Flowers? Over a pile of vomit? Now Jouno didn't know if he was going to pass out from the stench or the idiocy of his coworkers. Teruko sighed deeply, "After that, I tried using air freshener, but that made it smell worse somehow...Anyways, we were going to ask you if you knew where the bleach is."

"You two...Did you both lose all your braincells?" Jouno couldn't be more disappointed in everyone, starting with his raging alcoholic of a captain. Next, he turned to Tecchou, "What kind of moron uses flowers for cleaning? We're the Hunting Dogs, not the Hunting Fairies" He sighed as he felt a migraine forming, "God, I wish you would just di--" Jouno paused when he heard a familiar chime in the distance. Once he had confirmed a special someone's footsteps, he took off running, yelling to "call the janitors" and leaving the two confused behind him.

You sighed as you walked into the break room, bowing politely to thank the security guard for leading you there. You placed the lunchbox down on a table and held your face in embarrassment. You'd unknowingly slept in this morning and didn't have enough time to make or pack Jouno's lunch. It'd become an unspoken norm between the two of you to wake up at the same time, and you would cook a meal and stock up Jouno's work snacks while he got ready. Even though he never asked you to do it before, it became a habit after you'd gotten married. He'd always tease you about your "cute little housewife tendencies" like he wasn't the one who'd secretly made you into one. You were just about to call him to say you were there until you felt a strong pair of arms swiftly wrap around you.

"I missed you~" Your husband expressed, pulling you into a chair and seating you on his lap. You yelped as he buried his head into your chest and inhaled your scent. He adored the scent of your favorite perfume and the way you smelled like your shared home--like his. Jouno groaned as he drowned out the world listening to your heartbeat and you both shared an intimate moment of silence.

Smiling to yourself, you ran your fingers through his soft white hair as he pulled you closer. It was clear that he was stressed. "What's wrong, dear?" You asked, massaging his temples.

You giggled as he explained the situation and rubbed his shoulders. "Ah, I see. That sounds like something those two would do..." You looked down to the original reason you came, "Oh, right! I brought your lunch--it's your favorite," you paused, "Sorry for sleeping in today...You should've said something to wake me up..."

Jouno finally dug his head out of your chest to look up at you. "Oh, about that, I didn't wake you up on purpose. Your breathing was just so peaceful that I didn't want to disturb you..." You pursed your lips at that. "Besides, I knew you'd come to visit me at work! It's a win-win situation in the end!" You blushed at your husband's teasing; he'd won another one of his silly games yet again.

"Jeez...just wake me up next time...Anyways, I bought you some strawberry cake since there's a bakery close to the headquarters! Think of it as a thanks for all your hard work!" You perked, kissing his forehead lightly. It definitely wasn't meant to be an apology cake or bought because you were craving sweets.

"Yeah?" Jouno smirked, reveling in your praise. He caressed your sides, "My hard work, huh? What else about me are you thankful for?" You pouted as you realized you'd just been caught in a compliment trap--how gullible you were. It didn't help that Jouno was looking up straight at you and kneading your soft skin over your long dress.

Blushing, you started, "I'm thankful that you take care of me and our home. You're the bust cuddle partner...You have pretty hair and a nice voice, you're strong and..." You were about to continue until you looked to see Jouno's flushed face, he nuzzled into your chest again, muttering "I love you" lowly.

You beamed at the precious sight and lifted your husband's face up to yours. "I love you too, Jouno, so much." You brought your lips to his and kissed him sweetly, your red nails tugging softly on his hair and drawing quiet groans from him. He passionately kissed you back, hugging you tightly and angling your face to deepen the kiss, noting the way your heartbeat got faster and how your muscles relaxed in ease.

You pulled away suddenly after hearing koncks on the door, much to Jouno's disappointment. "It's just the janitor, we can still--"

"It's fine," You sighed, gently getting up from his lap and fixing your dress, "I'm meeting with some friends soon, so I should get going. You've got stuff to get back to, too. The world still needs saving!" Jouno pouted at that, missing your warmth on him and the sound of your pulse in his ears. "I'll see you at home, then. Keep up the good work!" You jokingly patted his head and turned away towards the door before he quickly grabbed the lunchbox and took your hand. He didn't want you to leave him just yet.

"W-wait, I'll walk you out. This place is big, so you might get lost. Security might not let you out since they won't recognize you. And there might be someone suspicious outsi--"

You giggled at his rambling, "Okay, I get it. Let's go~" You pulled him along and he wrapped his arm around your waist to lead you to the exit. He couldn't believe how utterly whipped he'd become for you, his beloved wife. His cheeks were red like the tips of his hair as he held your face and kissed you goodbye, watching as you drove away.

While the world knew Jouno as a sadistic ex-criminal fighting for justice, only you knew his soft side as a devoted and loving husband that would do anything for his pretty wife ♥︎
