Most of My Ryou Head Canons

He is bilingual and speaks English and Japanese fluently.

His mom is Japanese and his dad is mixed (English and Indian)

He learned how to cook from the collective help of his mom and both sets of grandparents.

Everything he makes tastes like heaven.

Sometimes, he forgets his friends can't speak English as well as him and he'll just start talking and have no one understand a single thing he says.

He is a femboy, he's just a little embarrassed about it because he thinks his friends will make fun of him. (They won't. Except Duke)

He admires the fuck out of Kaiba and thinks he's the coolest guy to ever exist.

Despite living away from all of his family, Ryou is still spoiled with gifts and letters. It just isn't enough because he wants his family there with him, but some evil spirit scared him into moving away and never seeing his family again.

Ryou is an anime fan. His favorites include Violet Evergarden, Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure, Black Butler, Nichijo, Disastrous Life of Saiki K, Madoka Magica, Panty and Stocking, Nanbaka, Nana, and Mob Psycho 100.

The reason Ryou's hair looks so fluffy is because he pins most of it up into layers so he can better avoid being told to cut it. When the pins are out, his hair reaches his upper thigh.

Ryou's Monster World campaign group is the other minor characters +Honda and Malik.

He's a picky eater and doesn't like things like milk, lentils, beans, most cheeses, mushy vegetables, or sea food.

If the other summoning types were available in DM, Ryou's favorite would be synchro summoning.

Animals love Ryou. He's like a Disney princess to them. However, Ryou is terrified of dogs and cockroaches. Yami Bakura makes them leave for him.

Ryou is attracted to two things: scars and muscles. This means being friends with Jonouchi, Honda, and Malik is fucking torture.

He and Duke are rivals, he just doesn't know it yet.

He loves Vocaloid! His favorite producers are Maretu, Kikuo, Pinocchio P, Deco-27, and IMO.

Ryou is genuinely just really good at art. Fantastic at making figurines, he can draw really well, and his writing is amazing.

Yami Bakura was the one that made Ryou's friends’ figurines and that's why Ryou's is in a different style. Ryou also made Zorc and Zorc's human form.

Ryou's favorite vocaloid song is UFO by Kikuo (listen to it)

He loves cats! They're his favorite pet animal.

Whenever Ryou gets asked to do something for Yami Bakura, he does it without much question. That's his friend!

He loves costume parties!

While Ryou loves the occult and learning about ghosts and spirits, he isn't much of a horror fan (unless it's Junji Ito).

Honda is Ryou's best friend.

Ryou gets sick easily, and whenever he does he becomes even more useless and airheaded. Yami Bakura usually took care of him, but After the Millennium World arc Honda started helping instead.

After Battle City, Ryou bought a shirt that Jonouchi had in order to show him support during tournament duels. (You know the shirt I'm talking about)

If Ryou has a lot of leftover food from the night before, he brings some of it to Jonouchi and Honda.

Ryou’s eyelashes are really thick, and Yami Bakura's eyelashes are longer than life itself and thin.

Ryou's loves games like Undertale, Zork, Stardew Valley, Little Miss Fortune, Fran Bow and Fire Emblem.

Ryou is smart enough to understand school and his interests, but dumb enough to not understand anything else. He has a case of stupid.

He is constantly dozing off or staring into space.

He is constantly forgetting to eat due to doing something he enjoys a little too much, or finding everything in his apartment disgusting (he buys his own food).

He likes cosplaying.

Ryou uses anti-meta or back row reliant decks. If given the opportunity though, he would use special summons reliant decks like Mayakashi or Tearlement.

His favorite monster card is Curse Necrofear.

He always tries to make friends with everyone, even if they were really mean to him at some point.

Sometimes, he tries to make his own Stop Motion videos. Sometimes, they look good. Sometimes, they look like ass.

Ryou harbors a special hatred towards Bandit Keith Howard.

He's very jealous of Yugi and Yami's relationship. This has led him to try and avoid them as much as he can.

He loves any game that involves Miis. Miitopia, Wii sports, Tomodachi Life, if it involves Miis he loves it.

Ryou has played every single Fire Emblem game.

Was almost diagnosed with an eating disorder, but wasn't due to the doctor “disappearing”.

If he met Astral, they'd be friends.

Hi BPP,

In between all the posts, I just wanted to jump in and say I am beyond excited for JMs next release. I am anticipating few things. I know his next release is going to be much bigger and potentially more commerical. I think with Face, it's been clearly apparent that he is probably one of the most popular if not the most popular member of BTS internationally especially in terms of music so I am keen to see all his achievements. I have a feeling some releases might be collabs or at the very least English songs so I am keen to see how he tackles them. I feel that JK, RM, JM and possibly Suga have the best English pronunciation so I am keen as a bean. I am also liking the directions he is going with his magazine shoots so I am hoping we get to see more of his recent looks. I love JM but I am done with mullets and Boba cuts. Yes we all know you can be cute but we also know you are deadly sexy so I want to see.more of those deadly sexy charms which comes naturally to JM. I guess it's suffice to say I am beyond excited. I waited for all the members releases and have recognised that the rap line and JM are the only ones that I am excited about artistically, more so JM to be honest!!

Despite everything, I'm very curious about Golden, even excited. I've warmed up to Jungkook's game plan in Chapter 2 and just want to see him blow it all out of the water with his poppy pop songs. I know I'm not fond of David's Stewart's production on BTS's English tracks so I likely won't like the songs he's worked on, but I'm looking forward to the others.

For Joon and Jimin though, my body sometimes literally buzzes if I think about their next projects for too long. And no I'm not exaggerating. How is Jimin planning to end k-pop in 2024? I can't wait to see it. And Joon, his energy tells me how anxious he is to show off what he's made. Because that's one of my favourite things about him, you know? How arrogant he is about his music. Because he's certainly earned a right to be, and it makes me happy to see how he basks in how good the music he makes is. Sometimes I feel he's driven almost insane by his obsession with perfecting it, a little bit more so than for Hoseok or Yoongi.

daily notes - overview of oct 5, 2023

omfg, I'm so tired. Like, we got home before 4pm, and I've been resting these last few hours. It was cool but humid, and I was just a sweaty mess when I got home. Hopped in the shower, then laid on my bed in front of the fan, and caught up on my web comic reading.

This will be the text overview of everything we did. When I get other posts up with images, I will edit and link to those.

First, we stopped by the local bakery I had mentioned on Monday. They probably had less-than-half of their inventory left. I got the very last blueberry-almond "scone", a couple other cookies for me, and some bits for LL-K. (K couldn't make the trip today, because she's busy with work.)

Second, we visited Rooster Brother, a store for cooks and those who love them, as they say. Lots of fun kitchen items, though they were more pricey than I'd prefer. Fun things, but nothing that screamed "must buy!". I did browse some chopsticks, though I was torn between using them as hair sticks or as chopsticks. (One was more decorative, but the other was cute enough for either use.)

There was a whole display of mushroom-themed items, too. The opposite side of that display had other woodland creatures, including deer and owls. They had the very same glass xmas ornament that @vintage-tech once sent me, several years ago - a little fawn, curled up and sleeping.

Next, we visited Riverside Cafe in Ellsworth for lunch. Very tasty, but neither of us could finish everything. (I only had fries left, but LL-J had 1-4th of her sandwich and fries leftover.) The music playlist was very good, though slightly biased towards my high school years. I can only remember 5 of the songs

It was tough to hear the music, so I'm sure there were other songs playing, and I just didn't catch them.

We walked down the road, ducking in The Dream Catcher antique shop next. Lots of pretty visuals, though the aisles were crowded and some display cases didn't show prices well. (There was such cool jewelry!) Because it was a cold and humid day, and they left the doors open, we felt very uncomfortable in that stuffy place. Both of us were tired, so we decided to call it quits when we saw there were another 2 floors to the place.

I bought 3 small dolls and a snake-shaped pendant. They're all cheaply made items, with discoloring and no easy way to remove the clothes. One is an Irish (I assume) souveneir doll, who came with a stand - $12. Then I found a dandy, dapper Rococo man. A little more digging, and I found his lady. Both have sleep eyes and painted feet/legs. They didn't have tags, so the clerk said $10 for the pair. Fine by me!

The snake pendant was $1. It's shape to curl around a marble or gem stone, and even has prongs to help hold it in place. It was empty, found in a dish of tiny pewter figures glued to flattened marbles. So so soooo tiny!

When we left, we both felt awful and tired. We visited a kids' book-and-toy store very quickly, didn't buy anything, then browsed the store windows of some other shops. The two I liked both looked very elaborate and fun. We'll hit one of those first on our next trip, when I have more energy again.

From there, we went to LL Bean's outlet store. They had a big sale on women's pants, so I grabbed a couple pairs. One's like... lounge or athletic wear? The other seemed like casual drawstring pants. I can't describe the texture. Omg, the textures for most of the pants were so bad in that section. So 60% off, I only paid about $35 after taxes for 2 pairs, yay.

Hit up Dunkin's drive-thru on the way out of town. LL-J now knows the glory of the "frozen hot chocolate" - basically a chocolate milk slushy.

We stopped by LL-K's house once we got back in town, to drop off the cookies. She gave me 2 containers of chicken stock that she had made. A couple weeks ago, she had asked where she could find chicken feet, so I helped source some from Neighbor-J and -S's chickens. (They were the couple that ran a general store for a few years. S used to sew cloth diapers as a business, too.) ----------

I hopped in the shower once I got home. Very very tired. Laid in front of the fan for a couple hours, and now I've been typing for like 20 minutes. We left at 10:15am and got home before 4pm. If the weather wasn't so clammy, I think we would've done far better. BUT I still did very good, considering how cheerful and happy this day has been.

Will work on posting photos in multiple posts next. Some stuff at the antique store is worthy of shiftythrifting, but some is not. One item is even from the "we see this too often, so don't submit it anymore" list. My first time seeing one in the wild!

YUSA KOUJI. Just YUSA KOUJI. I have watched and listened to so much stuff just to hear his voice it's not even funny.

Honourable mentions to: Ishida Akira (very close second fave), Miyano Mamoru (an actual legend), Kamiya Hiroshi (he's voiced so many iconic characters), Fukuyama Jun (I like his serious characters a lot), Ono Daisuke (duh), Hosoya Yoshimasa (how can a bean like him have SUCH A VOICE?), Suwabe Jun'ichi (asdfghjlajfjslhjhdssd), Sakurai Takahiro (his voice is just so godlike), Namikawa Daisuke (BRO THE RANGE), Sugiyama Noriaki (honestly the embodiment of class).

Toriumi Kousuke, I just don't vibe with his voice at all, even though he seems great as a person and I thoroughly enjoyed every single event with him.

Hanazawa Kana. She tends to get roles that get on my nerves, but of course there are exceptions.

AGAIN, Mamo-chan, the man's such a Gemini and he steals the attention whenever he appears. I also find Suwabe's comedic timing impeccable. Yucchii being a ドS and bullying everyone is a whole another topic...

The seiyuu you recognize the easiest?

Nakamura Yuuichi, for some reason I always tend to spot him in the most random shows. And Tsuda Kenjirou, the man is unmistakeable.

The seiyuu you recognize the hardest?

Generally I don't have trouble recognising voices, but Namikawa Daisuke in THOSE ROLES where he isn't his typical voice... That's just insane.

A seiyuu you’d rather not watch in anything?

Toriumi Kousuke again, no hate for the guy though.

The seiyuu with the best singing voice?

Hiro Yuuki. I've bought most of his solo CDs and he's just the best vocalist I've heard in ages. Also Taniyama Kishou, he literally has a badass band and owns it.

Probably Yucchii lol, he is often called エロ音痴 (sexy tone-deaf) by the Japanese fans. That being said, I definitely enjoy his vocals even if he isn't exactly a good singer.

The series with the best cast overall?

K Project, Bungou Stray Dogs, Durarara and Hetalia have some of the best casts I've encountered, and while each show has its issues, I believe the cast is a consistently strong asset in them.

A series you would not have watched had a seiyuu you liked played a role in it?

i'm not sure if I got this right but I actually watched HUMAN LOST for two reasons: it adapts my favourite book, and it has a dashing cast, but now I regret watching it and I pity the cast for performing in such a poor production lol.

The first seiyuu you remember liking?

Irino Miyu, he played Tsubasa in Beyblade and I was instantly in love. Also Ono-D probably, he was a main character in a lot of the early anime I watched.

A seiyuu you don’t like as much as others do?

Kaji Yuuki. He's great and I adore many of his characters, but he's got so many popular roles that he sort of blends into a single voice type for me, which makes it harder for me to enjoy each performance for what it is.

The seiyuu with the most acting range?

Ishida Akira just cannot be beaten, closely followed by Namikawa Daisuke.

The seiyuu with the least acting range?

Maybe Okamoto Nobuhiko? I feel like a lot of his roles have a similar range. Not a criticism though, because he's fantastic.

I would like to hang out with Madono Mitsuaki, he seems like a fun person from his live streams. Oh and Sugita Tomokazu. Bro is one of the funniest people alive.

How recent is recent? I really enjoyed Oonuki Yuusuke in FUGOU KEIJI: Balance Unlimited as Kanbe Daisuke. It was hard to believe the guy is originally a dancer and not a voice actor.

(i know this is a writing update but i really like putting little reading updates here as well lol. book thoughts in short: Stray Spirit was a 5/5 and very cute and cozy; Fortuna was a 4/5 and is VERY Chaycore with a family of smugglers in space trying to stop an interplanetary war while dealing with their own personal drama; and Nona i've just begun but i am already losing my mind in the best way.)

writing was honestly abysmal this month, i had a few flashes of motivation but most of the time when i sat down to try to write all i would get was a sad trombone noise in my brain. i really hesitated to even make an update for this month but here it is. it's gonna be short.

the climax continues to vex me. every time i think i've figured it out i realize i haven't figured out anything at all. i'm too close to the end for me to give up now but i am sooo frustrated.

i'm hoping to be able to just blitz through this final act during NaNo just to get it over with, but that means i need to actually figure out what the final act looks like so i don't have to think about it in November. so while using October to plan it out would be a good idea i also feel like i should take a prolonged break before November... but i won't be able to relax until i know i have a plan... so basically pain and suffering <3

in the meantime, i've decided, against my better judgement, to start rereading AR1 right away instead of waiting to finish AR3. i'm hoping it might give me a bit of motivation and maybe inspiration for this bit i'm stuck on. (it hasn't, but it has reminded me of bits that i'd forgotten about that are better than i thought they were so that's something i guess.)

When Mortimer introduces Riley, he says Riley can help you with your school project. I...I heard it as school budget and I was all like "Why would a kid need a school budget?" then it hit me. Let's get back to the analysis :D

I was actually going to make a joke about why Riley's eyes are not different, but it turns out it is a lightning error. She looks pretty adorable and I love her teeth.

Also, it looks like he get a new puzzle using SCIENCE for Riley's levels. If you look closely, you noticed that the blue box is actually a mirror. This is also a science experiment. I think it was about the properties of light, you had to make a laser light be pointing at a certain place using mirrors. The fact that they actually added science experiments to this game, makes it so much better!

Here's an example of what I mean!

You are using the mirrors and place them in a certain angle to move the light. This is pretty cool!

Itto x Gorou one shot

The Cliff part 2

Itto had carried Gorou through the first few minutes of rain to a cave he decorated with crates of food and clothes pressed to one wall, dishes around a small makeshift survival stove next to another wall and in the middle was a thin bed where he laid the injured doggy General.

An ankle-height cow demon was woken by the two but quickly went back to sleep as the crimson oni set himself near the entrance. Just far enough to watch for danger and to tend to Gorou as need be.

For the most part, Itto watched the rain pour down but found himself glancing over to the general more often than he thought he would. Not just to check if he's still alive, but to study his face, skin, hair, ears... Those butterflies in his stomach would return every time and it left the oni confused.

Maybe he should write to miss Hina about it. Keeping names out of course! Be as anonymous as possible. Arataki Itto is never shy! But this is uncharted territory for the oni and felt his face flush with embarrassment when thinking of random humans knowing about such a personal matter.

Hours went by, and the rain started to settle. Itto checked on the sleeping pup again; feeling his temperature. "Ah, great. A fever. And I don't have any medicine." The oni sarcastically mumbles to himself. He moves a lock of hair out of Gorou's face and take's notice of his unconscious behaviour. "Awe! He's holding his tail like a plushie! So cute." Itto stares for a good minute or two, before taking his hand back in surprise. "What are you doing, Itto?! Get a grip." A sigh escaped.

Soon after, he stood up and checked the rainfall which shrunk to a drizzle. "Stay here, Ushi," Arataki commanded the cow. "I shouldn't be long. Protect the General till I get back."

"Moo," Ushi responded.

"Good cow." With that, Itto headed towards the nearby village for some medicine.

He scouted around the village square, keeping to the shadows. Itto found the stand that would have the medicine he was looking for, but unfortunately for him, the old man working today was a bean-loving jerk stuck in the past. A past where oni's weren't on the best of terms with humans.

Arataki took a deep breath before taking a step toward him when all of a sudden a tap on his shoulder made him jump almost 10 feet in the air. "HOLY SHOUGON! God, Kuki!? You scared me half to death!"

"Sorry, boss." Kuki spoke, "What are you doing, sneaking around? You better not be looking for more trouble."

"I- No, I'm not. Uh..." A lightbulb pop's up in Itto's mind. "Actually, I'm glad you're here! Please, I need you to go over there and pick up some fever medicine! And perhaps something for a concussion? I promise I'll pay you back! I swear!"

Kuki looked at him confused. "Fever medicine? I thought you oni's don't get sick. Is Ushi ok?"

"It's not for him."

"Then who?"

"Uhhhhhhhhhhhhh..." Itto couldn't think of a way to tell her how he was nursing the doggy General of the resistance without feeling flustered. "I- well-" he stopped responding and stared unblinkingly at a sunsetta sitting on a crate beside him.

Kuki sighed, "Well, whatever it is I wish I could help, but I'm on my own mission to raise the gang's reputation. If you wanna trade tasks, I'll get your medicine while you get this bag of fruit paste to Kujirai Momiji by the docks." She holds out a smallish-tanned bag.

"Oh! Y-yeah. I could do that for ya." Itto takes the bag and salutes.

"K. Meet back here when you're done."

He ran to the docks, nearly startling Momiji and handing her the bag of bait. She thanked the oni and gave him 2000 mora and some Dango before he sprinted back to meet up with Kuki again.

When he got back to the cave with the medicine, he found Ushi putting a wet cloth on Gorou's forehead.

"Is his fever getting worse? I got back just in time then." The oni prepared the medicine as he heard groans coming from the general.

Gorou's eyes fluttered open, turning over.

"G-General! Take it easy. Here. I, Arataki the kind and genorous Itto, got some medicine for your fever." He hands him a pill with some water.

"Uh, Thank you." He took the pill swiftly, trying to remember what happened. Suddenly, it hit him. The warning from the oni, the sudden piercing pain in his shoulder, falling and then his head hit something hard and cold before blacking out. "You saved me. I'm very grateful, Arataki-Kun. If there's anything I could do, let me know. I owe you a huge favour."

Itto began to blush and averted his gaze, "Uh n-no worries! Really! Now get some rest, ok? I'll keep watch."

”K. If you don't mind me asking... Why are you helping me so much?" The doggy general caught him off guard.

"I..." The oni thought for a moment, then chuckled lightly. "Why not?" "I mean, sure. As ticked off as I was from witnessing that cowardly attack, I got nothing to gain from letting such an honourable and cute fighter kick the bucket like that."

"Uh... Cute?"

Did Itto say cute?! He didn't mean to slip up like that. "C-Cunning! I Said cunning! Yeah."

"Oh. Ok. Thanks, Arataki-Kun." Gorou's tail wagged slightly.

"Call me Itto mister general, sir."

"Ok. Then you can call me Gorou."

"S-sure. Uh... if you're hungry I... don't really have food food, but I got some tri-colour Dongo from a friend earlier." The oni looked over and saw doggy ears perking up and Gorou's matching tail wagging vigorously, despite his composure being calm and professional.

"Now that you mention it, I am a bit peckish. I'm truly humbled by such kindness." This doggy general isn't fooling the oni.

"Hey, what friends are for, right?" He handed over the stick of Dongo he had in a wooden butter box for safekeeping. The oni watched Gorou enjoy every bite. "Hey, once you’re healed up, maybe we can hang out around Watatsumi Island."

Gorou smiled after finishing his treat, "yeah. I'd like that." He yawned and fell under the covers again.

Itto attached a note to Ushi and sent him to find a loyal soldier under Gorou's command to come get him.

Over the next few days, Itto would stop by to check on the General. Slowly growing as friends and Itto's true feelings being realized. Maybe he'll tell him.

FFXIV Write 2021 Prompt 1: Foster

It was a quiet afternoon in a low-rent neighborhood of the Goblet, where small shops and residences pressed closely together, worn but tidy. The heat of the day had urged most shoppers and residents along, either back to their homes for a nap before continuing the evening's work, or down the stone path to the brilliant turquoise pools of the posh Brimming Heart district.

It was from one of the aforementioned small shops though, one blessed at least with a large tree to shade it, that came a high-pitched cry, pleading and dramatic.

“Aww, come on, little guy, you hafta eat *something*! Your cute chubby lil tentacles are starting to look all listless, and you're not half as slimy as you were a week ago!”

The shop was the Compass Coffee and Second Chance Shop, and the cry came from Alyona Amariyo, who ostensibly worked there. At the moment, the fluffy, distraught miqo'te was lying on her belly in the middle of the floor, peering closely at a squat, strange creature that almost defied description. The “little guy” in question. Rejected foodstuffs lay scattered around them.

“Might it not be wise,” rumbled the canny hrothgar merchant Cielbasa from behind the counter, “To be a bit more specific than urging the beast to eat ‘something’?” He ran a hand across his furry face and muzzle, and shuddered, imagining the creature latched there.

“That's a g...good point,” Letharon agreed, sweeping a hand through his own dense thatch of cerulean blue hair. He frowned with concern down at Aly, who was pressing her round, pale cheek against the rubbery lavender hide of the blank-eyed animal in an affectionate nuzzle that went absolutely unreciprocated. “We d...don't even know if it's an am...phibian or insect or…” Or an abomination from the dark spaces between the stars, sent to enslave or consume all of mankind, starting with a too-trusting catgirl. “Or w..what,” he concluded, taking a protective step closer.

“Maybe he's a kind of frog,” Flavia suggested, the taller girl smoothing her skirts as she crouched down to join in observing Aly's new “friend.”

“Your belief is that this squelching, six-legged *thing* is a *frog*.” Ciel raised a bushy eyebrow.

“I like frogs,” Flavia explained, as though that was reason enough.

“I like frogs too!” Beamed Aly. “And I like solving mysteries with my friends. And we'll figure out what he is and what he wants, together!”

“Ninki Nanka,” came the proclamation from a shadowed shop-corner, by the bookshelves. Victor stepped dramatically into the light, causing the staff and scattered customers to gasp. Aly clapped at the theatricality.

Leth blinked. “W...what?”

Qoribucha, a tall Xaela shop regular sipping a comparatively tiny cup of espresso, offered a grave nod. “Perhaps he is speaking the words which shall release it back to the Void.”

Victor repeated, “Ninki Nanka. That's apparently what this thing is. Or at least I'm reasonably sure. Look at the striations on its tail.” He gestured to the book he was holding.

Cielbasa frowned. “Let me see that.”

Victor shrugged, and, focusing, used his telekinesis to float the tome across the room to the leonine shopkeep’s hands...perhaps with a bit more force than was strictly necessary.

Ciel flipped rapidly through the pages, while Aly unsuccessfully offered the possible nanka a carrot, a gysahl green, and a handful of birdseed.

“A, ahem, ninki nanka, does not have six legs,” Ciel stated, tapping an illustration with his clawed finger.

“There will be more meat to harvest, when eventually its time comes,” Qori observed. “Perhaps it is a boon.”

“Maybe...this one's just special,” Aly suggested, not responding to the au ra’s suggestion, and massaging the nanka’s back. It made a wet noise that might have been a growl or a trill, or simply the passing of gas. A faint fishy smell filled the air, wrinkling the noses of everyone in the room, aside from the two enamored, oblivious women, and the creature itself, which didn't have a nose to wrinkle.

“You do tend to find the special ones,” Victor chuckled, reaching down to rub a pink, fuzzy ear.

“Ohh, no no, don’t eat that, silly!” Flavia chided the creature, who was waving its tentacles inquisitively at a “coffee” concoction she had made with unground coffee beans, an entire cup of sugar, and, by the look of it, several small pinecones, their sap-encrusted ends protruding from the unwholesome brew. “That’s people food, and it could make you sick.”

“That’s h...half right,” murmured Leth, bemused.

“I dunno,” said Aly. “He hasn't shown this much interest in anything at all today, maybe you could let him have a...bite? Sip? However you would interact with all that?”

Flavia nodded, holding the mug out to the nanka. It waddled over and descended upon the brew with a savage enthusiasm, tentacles flailing, thick tail thumping, as surprisingly loud slurping, splorching sounds filled the air.

“He likes it!” Aly cheered. ”Flavia, you're a culinary genius specifically for nankas, that is a highly specialized skillset, good work with that!” The other woman beamed at the peculiar praise.

The group watched the strange, six-legged nanka messily finish its decidedly unwholesome repast, then scurry around the floor in circles, before scuttling around the corner and down the stairs.

“He certainly seems...energetic, now,” Victor remarked, brushing off his vest and shirt-sleeves as if he felt slightly less clean for just having been in the same room as the strange animal.

“Maybe he went downstairs to get more coffee,” Flavia suggested.

“That's p...probably not the best idea,” Leth said, heading downstairs himself. The others followed his lead.

But when they arrived, the sight that greeted them was not of a nanka burrowing into the beans, but of a nanka frolicking in the fountain. Aly clasped her hands together joyfully, and ran to the creature's side. “Look how moist he is again! And ooh, you're making so much slime, little guy!”

Leth joined Aly and looked down with dismayed distaste. “The w...water’s turning all viscous and s...slimy, like from a h...hagfish!”

Aly nodded, tapping her lips in thought. “Do you think we should save some slime for the next time he's looking a little dried out? Or maybe he should just stay in the fountain…”

Leth put his hand on the miqo'te’s shoulder. “Aly, this is a w...wild animal we don't know much about. D...do you really think it's a good idea to k...keep it?”

Aly looked up at Leth with earnest gray eyes. “There's a lot about *us* we don't know yet. Stuff about my past, the way your machine parts work… And besides, isn't this supposed to be a place that helps travelers who aren't sure of their way? This little guy is a long way from home, and he needs our help!”

Letharon, a long way from what he once called home himself, sighed. “What are you going to c...call it? It probably won't be a l..little guy, forever,” he noted with no small amount of trepidation.

“Yes,” Ciel agreed archly from the stairwell. “What are you going to name the ‘frog’?”

“That's a great idea, Ciel! We will name him Frog.”

In the fountain, Frog ceased his splashing, and put his front feet on the ledge. He looked out into the basement café, and seemed to nod. His tentacles bobbed in apparent agreement, and his tail swished and gently sloshed in a satisfied way. Another wayward wanderer had come to the Compass to stay.

Eijirou Kirishima:

- Nobody knows where you came from, or how you and Kirishima met, but lets just say that everyone enjoyed your presence.

-You were always so kind, even to those who didn’t deserve it 

-Whenever someone did something you didn’t exactly agree with, you would never be judgemental, and that was a good trait to have when it came to being together with Kirishima, who would quickly jump into danger to save a life, disregarding the safety of his own

-You also seemed to get along with pretty much all of Kirishima’s friends, which Kirishima really loved.

- He also loved the fact that you could bake really well. He supported it as both your hobby and job. He loved coming home from a rough day of being a hero, and getting a whiff of the delectable smell of pastries. He’d come up behind you and wrap his arms around you, still in his hero costume, and he’d just watch you bake over your shoulder.

- You were perfect for him and he couldn’t ask for anyone sweeter and understanding than you. Because you were the highest of the high. He held you up on a pedestal and he would never put you down.

Bakugo Katsuki:

- When the Bakusquad first met you, they had to ask and make sure you weren’t being bullied by Bakugo into a relationship or to make sure he was being good to you, which pissed the ash blonde off to no end.

- You just laughed and shook your head, reassuring them that they had the wrong idea. You would tell them that you can’t really judge someone until you’ve seen all sides of them, your non-judgmental trait peeking out.

-It was one of the things Bakugo really appreciated about you. You didn’t judge him when he first yelled at you when you both first met. You simply smiled and laughed, which confused him greatly, but it also kind of drew him to you, intrigued. 

-You actually smiled after getting yelled at by him and you were laughing in his face too. He figured you had to have some pretty big balls. Then your story started from there. 

- When it comes to baking, if Bakugo has the time, he’ll indulge himself in it with you. You had to admit, he was also pretty damn good at it.You would even catch him humming along to the tune you were, which made you smile like an idiot. You’d also catch him staring at you from the corner of your eye.

-Although you couldn’t tell, he was looking at you with a look of intense love, watching your every movement

- He could practically feel his heart beating out of his chest. You...were actually his and there was no way he was gonna let you go. Maybe this is what people meant when they said opposites attract.

Izuku Midoriya:

-You and Midoriya were like the last two cinnamon rolls in on a pan.

- You guys were so much alike, his friends would tell you guys to stop being so sweet, because you were giving them a toothache, just from being yourselves.

- You would laugh, he would blush and apologize. 

-You would hug and kiss him wherever you were, having the best intentions of course, although it would probably just make him pass out from embarrassment and make his heart stop

- You often worried about him, with him becoming a hero who was climbing the ranks rather quickly, putting himself in harms way everyday.

- So what you did every night, whether he was coming home early or not, you’d make some of his favorite baked goods, even making some he’s never tried before.

-He always appreciated it and praised you’re baking skills and you sticking by him through him being a hero and whatnot. 

-You always wait patiently for him to come home, and try to stay awake as long as you can to greet him. You usually wake up in his arms in bed the next morning, him having carried you.

-He loves you and your patience and compassion for him and he couldn’t imagine his world without you.

Kaminari Denki:

- Everyone was S H O O K when they saw that a cute and sweet girl had gotten with their wannabe Casanova pal, Kaminari.

- The guy was practically obsessed with you! He loved everything about you. You never judged him, you were beyond patient and understanding with him. You gave him all the cuddles and forehead kisses he could ever want. Plus, you found his awful jokes funny!

- Eats almost all the sweets you bake, hardly ever leaving any for you to taste for yourself, not that you minded. You found it so flattering that he enjoyed your pastries so much, that he gorged himself on them

- Whenever you got together with the Bakusquad and they would reminisce and poke fun at the way Kaminari practically asked out every girl he could, plus his perverted little schemes with Mineta (ew), Kaminari thought for sure you would be disgusted, since he hadn’t really told you what he was like in High School.

- But you just laughed along with them, much to his surprise. You ruffled his hair and continued to listen in on the embarrassing moments of his past.

- It takes him a moment, before he lunges at you, trapping you in a hug as he rubs his cheek against yours, practically praising you for not being so judgmental.

- All you could do was smile and pat his head affectionately

Ok hear me tf out, even if he’d be just a little bit thrown off by your closed off behavior at the same time he’d be lowkey fascinated with you, as in the thinks you’re some sort of enigma that he greatly wants to discover more and more! He’s a naturally curious person who can’t help but be drawn to people that are his total opposite from time to time. Oku is notorious for coming off as intimidating or even menacing but we all know what a bubbly happy go lucky wholesome boi he really is. That being said, I firmly believe that his outgoing nature would actually vibe with your more reserved one, the man never pushing you to do/say anything but still lowkey helping you to warm up to him faster. He doesn’t mind waiting for you to open up about certain topics and is HELLA understanding and supportive, so you’ve got yourself one fine k e e p e r. Your humor and aesthetic would also draw him in.
