About "tropes": The trope is called Angel-Devil shipping, oh but I don't think PV is an angel. He's more like a God for SM (at least that's my preference)… Thinking at all the possible tropes that suits them make me really wonder why some people consider Shadowvanilla a crack/pro ship. Enemies to lovers or villain/hero ships have been pretty archetypal since the day of olds. Compared to all the ships I've encountered in the past… Shadowvanilla is more or less the "slightly out of the norm" on the "problematic ships scale" <- typing this out make me feel like an old fandom veteran haha

About "how it happens": I have no idea where to put PV on that chart. He's the one who approached first, but not out of romantic intents, him falling for SM is as unexpected as can be. SM fell first and slowly, and in 'slow' I meant decades upon decades. It's inevitable, painfully so, spending all those years watching over this cookie who's so perfect in his imperfections, how could one not feel something? Of course it's not so simple, that 'something' is a horrid mixture of disgust, envy, hatred, understanding, both the need to preserve and destroy… And maybeee the tiniest crumb of affection? SM realized something around the first couple hundredth years mark, he then spends the next thousands in denial of it. No matter. Whether it's PV or the Soul jam, his birth-given rights. SM knows what he wants and he WILL get what he wants. (He's wrong on both fronts. And somewhere in the back of his mind, SM knows that. But he'll never admit it. He'll never ever admit anything. Until it's too late. In a way, the same goes for PV)

About a certain someone who's not clingy, but would die for attention: I think PV gets lonely easily. As he's hyper-aware of himself and considerate of others, appearing clingy is the last thing PV wants. So PV would put extra efforts in taking care of those around him, be it cookies, animals or the greenery in his garden. A healer is always busy, always helpful. If he's always needed by others then he would never be afraid of being alone. Ironically enough, this ended up making PV come off as a little overbearing. As of late, the only ones able to see through the facade are Hollyberry cookie and you-know-who.

Other scattered thoughts: These two are completely different yet can't be more similar, on the various sliding scales they're either stuck to one another or are flung to both ends. On another note, honestly I can't see these two doing anything domestic together, the most I can see is cooking, which is basically the same as magic in the cookie world. Anyways, are they in "love"? Are they dating? Not really, no. It's more of a a parasitic-turned-symbiotic-soulbond, a will-they-won't-they-destroy-the-world situationship (iykyk) I do enjoy relationships that's hard to put into words. Their feelings are somehow romantic, somewhat deranged and something much, much deeper.

My desire to ship these two comes from the desire to see them grow beyound their archetypes. Being with PV does give SM the chance to be horrible as can be, yeah, but I'd like to think SM does have a personality outside of being a villainous tormentor. He spends so long observing others, and now for the first time he's being seen. Now SM have met someone who can see right through him, who can glimpse into those dammed vulnerabilities of his. Being with SM does let us see PV in his darkest moments, but it's at the same time the moments where PV can shine the most, to prove SM that his ideals isn't naïveté or simple platitudes. In canon, SM+PV works well as enemies, but it is the many contradictions born when romance is added into the mix that got me shipping. They simultaneously break down and bolster one another's greatest traits. Like binary stars, they orbit around the other, so close yet so far apart, lest they collide. They could've been so perfect for each other. But not in this life, or the next, or the next...

i left max messages that he didn't answer, and now all my excitement for going out had vanished.

"Ian. Can we talk." Mickey asked. He made it a point not to make any eye contact with the man Ian was out with. He would've knocked him the fuck out on the spot and he knew it. He wasn't worried about jail, honestly, because in Southside you don't call police for fights. You handle it yourself.

"No. I'm with Ryan." Ian shrugged and went to move past him. Mickey grabbed his arm.

"Ian-" Ryan, how fitting for the douchiest looking guy in the world, lifted his hand up to speak but Ian was grabbing it and yanking it down. He knew Mickey all too well to let him do something like that and piss Mickey off.

"Got something to say, Bryan?" He asked as he took a step closer to the man so they were toe to toe, "Because I'd change my mind if I were you."

Ian rubbed his hands over his face as Ryan got into Mickeys face as well. "My boyfriend here said no, so back the fuck off." Mickey looked like he'd been slapped, but it switched to fury so fast Ian couldn't believe it.

"He's not my boyfriend, Mick. Calm the fuck down." Ian said quickly to keep him from swinging and to really let him know that Ian hasn't moved on. He hasn't. Mickey didn't even look at him. The anger on his face was only getting worse. "Mickey." He'd tried again and grabbed Mickey's hand. He yanked it away and balled it up. Oh fuck, Oh God, Ian thought, he's about to hit Ryan.

He was right. Mickey reared back and shot his fist forward into Ryan's eye with practiced ease and watched him collapse onto the ground. He jumped on top of him and got one more hit in, maybe two before familiar hands wrapped around his middle and yanked him up with a force he couldn't fight against. "Mick, let's fucking go," he'd yelled as Mickey attempted to fight against him once he saw the man wasn't out for the count. In fact, he was already getting up.

"You fucking dick!" Ryan screamed loudly as Ian hauled Mickeys feet off of the floor and out of the diner with one arm around his waist. It would've turned him on if he wasn't so fucking angry. Next thing he knew, his back was against the wall down an alley and Ian's arms were by his head, caging him in.

"Fuck you," Ian spat in his face, but Mickey grinned. There was that gleam in his boys eyes that he noticed only came around when he was looking directly at Mickey. He'd watched him interact with Mandy. It wasn't there then. It sure as hell wasn't there when he was wrapped around Ryan. That was reserved for him. "Why the fuck are you even here? You plan on hitting everyone I fucking date now?" He was hurt. He was angry. He was confused. But something deep down inside of him was singing at the fact that Mickey came for him.

""I'm here because I don't want him to have you. I don't want anyone fucking having you!"

"The fuck? Even though you don't want me? You don't want me, but no one else can? Do you fucking see how fucked up that is? How fucked up I am over you and this whole 'i can't do relationships' bullshit, I can't keep-"

As nervous as Mickey was, he decided to speak then.

"Shut up," Mickey cut him off with a soft shaky inhale, his eyes searching Ian's for anything that could give away what he was feeling. Anger, at the moment. But that gleam was still there.

"Mickey, honestly fuck you!" He'd snapped again but now Mickeys hand was on the back of his head and he was pulling him in.

He rested their foreheads together. "Shut up and fucking kiss me,"

"Fuck," was all he heard Ian say before Mickey was pushing up on his tip toes a little to kiss him. When lips touched, Mickey could've fucking died right then. The overwhelming feeling of butterflies erupted in his stomach, which is so fucking gay but an accurate description and he suddenly couldn't breathe though his nose correctly. Ian deepened the kiss almost as soon as they began. No one would be able to blame him, he'd wanted to do this for almost five months now. He even thought about kissing him while Mickey was in juvie. It's really sad how much time he spent dreaming of lips he'd never touched before. Ian's mind was spinning. This was better than he could've ever imagined it being. His body was tingling, his hands were a little shaky. Now that he'd had this, he couldn't ever go without it. He was sure of that much.

Ian had his arms pinned against the wall now as he controlled the motions, dominating the kiss just like he did everything else in the bedroom. Ian kissed a lot like he fucked. Determined, wet, delicious. That one track mind determination of making Mickey jelly in his hands. Of making his boy come apart and feel so good. Mickey whined high in his throat into the kiss which isn't what he'd expected to do, but he couldn't help how much Ian turned him on. Especially when he was kissing him like he'd just come home from war.

Their kiss was disrupted by a loud scoff from behind them, and Ian moved away barely to see who had done it. Ryan, icing a black eye and with toilet paper sticking out of his nose, was watching them from the entry of the alley. He'd come looking for Ian to make sure he was alright. Apparently, he was more than alright. "Fuck this shit. You were a good fuck, but apparently that's all you're good for." He'd called to Ian, and Mickey's post kiss bliss was cut like a knife. He tried to push off of the wall, to get to that bastard but Ian had anticipated that without even having to look at him. He squeezed his wrists gently and kept him pressed against the wall by his hands. Ian turned his head back to face the boy he loved so much, and Mickey saw that he wasn't affected by what Ryan had said. No, he was more entranced by Mickey and everything that kiss had meant to him. It melted Mickey just a little, he wouldn't lie. Mickey relaxed a little bit but still, he wanted to kill that guy.

"Fuck you!" Mickey had yelled to the man he'd beaten up not even six minutes prior, "I'll fucking kill you!"

"Shh," Ian had whispered to him, "Ignore him, yeah?"

"Can I just go fuck him up a little? Come on, he's right there!" Mickey tried to pull away again but Ian turned his face.

"Eyes on me."

Mickey had heard that come out of Ian's mouth before, but they definitely had a lot less clothes and a lot more things stuffed inside of Mickey. Mickeys eyes shot to his and he melted a little. When he did, Ian's eyes were blown out a little with lust. He was thinking the same thing Mickey was. About the last time he'd said those words.

"Oh, you wanna fuck now, huh, firecrotch?" Mickey laughed. He'd know that look on Ian's face from anywhere, but this time held something a little different. Mickey couldn't quite put his finger on it. Maybe hope. Mickey could share that sentiment.

Ian grabbed his face and laughed,

"Shut up and kiss me."

That night was far, far from over.

Why Beaugard "Bo" Sinclair in the 2005's House Of Wax works

I had a discussion once with a friend of mine about House Of Wax, and it was all about if we had to choose or were forced to pick one of the Sinclair brothers as partners. I would have picked Lester, whilst my friend decided to pick Vincent. They were surprised at that, because my friend knew how much I like Bo as a character. So when they questioned me about it, I basically answered it in the most hilarious way possible without meaning to.

"Well, yeah. I like how he's written and all that, but I don’t want a thirty year old matress to be my significant other. He's open to everyone, day and night."

And while that might sound too judging or harsh, it means that the writers did him right. They made a villain that dosen’t stick to the old formula of "oh, I'm terrible, because I hate people." Bo might seem like the typical American villain to some, but he's actually deeper than that, not to mention that his backstory has some more originality to it than the most media we have today. I like characters having deepth. He's so depressingly real and daunting that it puts more impact to me than what Vincent does. Some characters in media have these motivations that feel so insubstantial, or not enough that it might just be an anathor bad rip-off slasher film with no real purpose of existing besides bringing in money to the box office. So when I see a character like Bo, I can't help but to like him, I absolutely despise him as a person. But that's because he might as well exist in the real world.

He isn't unique in the way he does things. We see plenty of men in different positions of beauty and power get away with doing terrible things, and the film gives us enough context in comprehending how he does this, without fully knowing at certain times if he actually means it or not. But there's one thing for certain, he's objectively a monster.

However, that dosen’t stop the viewers from liking him, feeling empathy for him, wanting to save him, thinking about being his significant other, wanting to have intimacy with him, and wanting to date him. How come? Why do people want him, want to help him, and why does Vincent of all people help him? Well, like anything in this beautiful, yet unfair and cruel of a world. It's complicated. There are multiple answers to it, but when you think about it, there aren't any clear direct responses.

Maybe Vincent feels guilty over what Bo went through and wanted to help his twin by finishing their mother's dream in a more easier approach. Perhaps Vincent has some hidden animosity, and that’s why he agreed to do it. Or maybe it was both of their ideas. We don't know. Yet we do know that Bo tries to cope with his trauma in an unhealthy manner, hence why he kept the high chair, enjoying being the dominant one overall (having all control over the situations), unleashing his anger in a destructive behaviour, and stealing affection from those who don't want to give it to him.

Bo has clearly been suffering in his upbringing, and since he dosen’t know how to cope, he has this mentality of "if I don't make myself get the things that I want. I will never receive them." Because clearly, his parents taught him that trying to earn it isn’t enough. Behaving good for once isn’t enough to earn their love and attention. It doesn't help that he's naturally attractive and manipulative as well.

I believe that a part of Bo is afraid of opening up, afraid of being vulnerable because that's what got him hurt. So instead of seeking a potential someone who could make him feel everything that he wanted as a child. He takes everything from a person before dumping them or makes them a part of the wax collection. As if some part of him wanted to honour those he decided to "let in." And those women he decided to give his kisses to are his way of either saying sorry or that he likes them. It's really difficult to tell, because at the end of the day, I think it’s all about the context leading up to that. But I think we can all agree that Bo doesn't do this to everyone, he has his preferences. Whether that be beautiful women or how he wants to kill people.

If we take the alternate delted opening as an example, we can tell that Bo definitely dosen’t give everybody the privilege he deems them to get. I mean, he literally grabbed that woman and swung her to the car shield. He didn't even want to play hunt with her. He just wanted to get it over with. As if he saw her as an anathor part of the collection, not worth his attention or his sweetness. But then again, he doesn't mind doing it to people who are rude or do questionable things (I'm looking at you, Carly). So he definitely has expectations, but they have to be good enough for him to want to have you.

So what we can learn from this is that to make a good villain, is that you don't have to make them different, be so evil, complex, or have a big motivation unless it makes sense. Just making them realistic or have a villain that you can understand is enough. The other way works too, you can have a villain where you don't understand their character, however, that kind of villain is much harder to execute if you can't deliver it perfectly. One villain that did manage to do this is the Joker from The Dark Knight film.

But back to what I mentioned about the key to having a good villain, you need to convince yourself that they are "the good guy." And also write them in a way where they aren't immediately seen as such, even though that's what they are. Now I ain't saying that Vincent is a terribly written villain, he isn't, he's just a slasher that we have seen before. Except this time, the survivors try to sympasise with him directly, trying to convince him that he's more than what he is. Not to mention that he has his own problems that make him special. And although there's nothing inherently wrong with that, I am getting tired of it. I still love Vincent, though, don't worry.

Since he is dealing with loud teammates on a daily basis timeskip, he prefers it if it’s more quiet

Obviously his s/o can have their silly moments but they should know their boundaries

Kiyoomi would definitely look for a s/o who can take care of themselves, physically and mentally

His s/o would also have to bring great patience and understanding into the beginning of the relationship

It takes some time for the Outside Hitter to warm up to someone

But once his s/o has broken down his walls and melted off the ice-cold facade, Kiyoomi is the most attentive boyfriend

He cleans, he has impeccable hygiene and incredibly smart

He 1000% has a routine for how to do things at his home or how he spends his day, his s/o has to accept his busy schedule and adjust to it

Motoya grew up with Mr. anxiety himself, so he knows exactly what to do if you have panic attacks or suffer under panic disorders

But with every professional athlete, Motoya needs someone who understands his busy schedule and shouldn’t get mad about him going away for quite a while on away games or longer training days

Katsuki likes showing off that he had Izuku- that Izuku belongs by his side- neck and neck with him- and Izuku would be lying if he said he didn't adore it. So much missed time between them also fuels this passion- both so desperate to have as much of each other as they can because they both know their jobs are dangerous. They don't want to regret not having enough

Sort of like EraserMic- these two are very low energy when it comes to kisses. That's not to say they aren't passionate- but with Hitoshi's low energy levels from insomnia and Izuku's caring nature- they both have found ways to show affection without causing the other to fret over nonexistent relationship problems. During the day it's no uncommon to see Izuku plant kisses on Hitoshi's cheeks- or for Hitoshi to stop him and kiss the closest piece of skin he can (the most common is Izuku's knuckles or his shoulders). But when they're alone its usually slow and sensual kisses.

These two are the Paparazzi's favorite pairing- It's not rare to find photoshoots of these two being affectionate- whether they're in a relationship or not. Before they ever got together they were touchy- Eijirou always holding onto Ashido, touching her leg, her hands, once they had a photo go around of him holding one of her horns as she was interviewed for her latest takedown. Kisses were not uncommon either. Cheek kisses, kisses on the lips, foreheads, hands, the leg if it's close- these two were so confused when people assumed they were dating despite how affectionate they were in school. However when they began dating it only got worse. Now if Eijirou or Ashido even think there's a camera they'll be making out.

What do you get when you mix and unstoppable force with an immovable wall? You get some of the meanest kissers you've ever witnessed. These two are not afraid to get concerningly into their kisses- I'm talking teeth, blood, spit and sweat. Katsuki isn't afraid to cut his lips on Eijirou's still unbreakable lips and Eijirou isn't afraid to taste blood. They get called the Hannigram couple because of how often they accidentally lick each other's blood and they only greet it with laughter.

TogaChako

Did you know there are two arteries that run across your forehead? Himiko does- and so does Uraraka now as they start dating. I know we all adore the vampire symbolism that comes with neck kisses- and trust me, they do too, but necks aren't the greatest spots for blood flow- foreheads however- foreheads are great spots to feel for arteries and veins. Himiko loves kisses over the Supraorbital Artery since it falls right by the eyebrow- a romantic spot already to kiss- but because of her blood based quirk, she can actually feel the pulse of her heart easily from the artery. She will kiss there whenever she is anxious- or two remind herself that Uraraka is alive and healthy. She also likes feeling her pulse quicken whenever Uraraka gets embarrassed.

DabiHawks

These two are used to quick and short flings with one another- its apart of their jobs. They both know if either side found out about them that it'd be taken from them- either by a decaying hand or by corporate measures. They know their relationship is dangerous- not only for the other but themselves too, so they keep their kisses to the confinement of their midnight meetings. Always in hidden shadows- alleyways and trees that Hawks flies them to. They kiss with everything- often with Hawks knocking his teeth on one of Dabi's staples or his piercings if the kisses travel. Dabi is often the reason why Hawks carries Chapstick- because when you're kissing for hours at a time, it gets dry fast.

TodoShinDeku

These three are kiss fanatics. Mixing Shouto's need for affection, Izuku's tendency to care for everybody at once, and Hitoshi's love for witnessing his partners- you'll often find them tucked away like these. Shouto and Izuku usually lock lips, while Hitoshi is usually late to join, but just as happy to kiss at the skin available to him. That isn't to say he never gets to steal lips for himself- but he's often just happy to watch the two of them, touching their hands and shoulders to show his appreciation for the view. That often earns him a hand in his hair, or fingers on his biceps as the two open their eyes to watch him in return. They make it a show- just for him and they all adore it
