Call Of Duty Modern Warfare Catverse

So, I've been sitting on this thought for a while. There's something about hardened military people with cats that just tickles me, and imagining the COD men and women having jobs that center around taking care of cats in one way or another has taken over my mind completely. And as such, why not have them own and work in cat cafes, rescues, pet hotels, the whole shebang? And yes, you'll notice that Kate, Valeria, Farah, and Alex are missing because I haven't narrowed down exactly what I think they'd be doing in this universe, so if you have any ideas don't be afraid to let me know! Same goes for names for their businesses, as I haven't been able to think of anything that fits. I'll probably expand more on this at a later date, but in the mean time, if you have questions, ask them! I'd love to ramble about this little idea of mine.

Jonathan Price: Owner of the first of the big three cat cafes in London, John’s cafe has become his second home, a place where he takes care of any cats that are found injured or are older than most. John provides the less fortunate felines a place to relax and become acclimated to humans, heavy war-torn hands developing a gentle touch for the felines. He retired from his position as Captain years ago, the stress of his military career and countless near-death experiences feeding into unhealthy coping habits that were heavily affecting him physically and mentally. Now, he feels at peace with himself and is happy with where he is at life, no longer wondering if he’d live to see tomorrow. His cafe has adoptable and non-adoptable cats, so they will often host special promotions for their adoptable cats, though he had to ban Nikolai from coming to those events. They already have 10 cats at home, they don’t need any more, but John always finds it funny seeing his husband disguise himself to sneak in to the events. Nikolai stands out like a sore thumb every time, and John always unmasks him, planting a kiss on his lips before sending his husband on his way.

Nikolai: Husband to Price and rescuer, Nikolai stops by at least once a week with new rescues to be integrated into the cafe, sometimes stopping by just to see his husband and his team. Often wandering the streets of London and even traveling to other cities when needed, Nikolai seems to draw the attention of cats wherever he goes, which thankfully makes his job of rescuing much easier. With John’s help, he turned the basement into a recovery space for cats that couldn’t immediately be taken to the cafe, having learned some basic veterinary work for cats with basic injuries and ailments, though he’s still a frequent visitor to the local veterinarian office. He was the one that managed to convince John to retire in the first place, as he couldn’t stand seeing his boyfriend at the time kill himself slowly, and actually proposed the idea of starting the cat cafe after they had gotten married. He is also the reason behind why they now have 10 cats, and whenever he finds out John is having another adoption event, he tries to sneak in. It always fails, but it brings a smile to John’s face every time.

Kyle “Gaz” Garrick: The solo barista and self-appointed DJ, Kyle was the first to join John’s cafe only a month after it had opened, falling into his role the quickest out of all the employees. Charismatic, sassy, charming, and stubborn as a mule at times, he picked up on the recipes and techniques for making coffees and teas like it was second nature. Kyle gets people in and out of line at a record pace, and has the best recommendations for drink and pastry combinations for newcomers. Kyle was medically discharged from his role as Sergeant after an accident in a church during an operation, where a helicopter shot the floor apart from under his feet, sending him tumbling several feet too many to the ground before a chunk of what remained fell on top of him. Three of his lumbar vertebrae were fractured, his left sciatic nerve was damaged, and his right femur was broken. It took months of physical therapy before Kyle was able to walk without assistance, and even now, he still deals with intermittent back and leg pain. There’s a chair behind the coffee bar for him to sit on and John keeps his spare back brace in his office, along with plenty of pain meds and heat pads. Kyle’s found comfort and brotherhood with his boss and fellow employees, and when he’s not busy making drinks, he can be found chatting with Soap or cuddling many of the cats.

Simon “Ghost” Riley: Quiet and reserved, Simon is the lead baker and pastry chef for the cafe, having joined the team around two months after Kyle did. Often clad in all black clothing and sporting a black mask that covers his face from nose to chin, Simon prefers to stay in the cafe kitchen, working quietly on new pastries and making sure the display case is always fully stocked until the end of the day. Cakes, cookies, croissants, donuts, tarts, macarons, eclairs, cinnamon rolls; you name it, Simon can bake it, and he finds it very therapeutic too. Simon was also medically discharged from his role as Lieutenant after an incident involving a man named Manuel Roba, having been tortured physically and mentally before he was tossed into a coffin and buried alive, and while he managed to get revenge on Manuel, it left him more broken than he wanted to admit. After many tough sessions with a therapist, Simon knew he needed to start trying to do something other than rot in his apartment alone, so he took up baking as a hobby. Baking taught Simon that he was capable of more than destruction, that he could make beautiful things despite the dirt and blood that stained his hands. And when he landed his job under John’s watchful eye, Simon was able to put the pieces of himself back together with the help of his newfound brothers and some loving felines.

Johnny “Soap” MacTavish: Loud, boisterous, confident, chatterbox, all words used to describe one of the later additions to the cafe Johnny, who joined the team seven months after the cafe opened, is in charge of taking care of the cats directly. Whether it be organizing a feeding schedule, clipping their nails, giving them baths, brushing their teeth, or grooming their fur, Johnny is always busy. He’s also the only employee that’s allowed to use John’s credit card, seeing as he often has to go out shopping for food and treats and toys and whatnot. On top of all that, Johnny has also taken over as the cafe’s handyman, quickly fixing any problems that may arise; whether it be behind the coffee bar, in the kitchen, in John’s office, he can fix almost anything on his own or with an extra pair of hands. Johnny chose to leave his Sergeant role after taking a near-fatal shot to the side of his left temple, though some profound hearing loss from all the explosions he created certainly didn’t do him any better during his recovery process. It took Johnny a while to get used to his new hearing aids, and for a while, he detested wearing them because they reminded him of what he lost. Only after getting hired at the cat cafe did Johnny start to become more comfortable with his hearing aids, letting his newfound brethren decorate them to better fit his outgoing personality, and fitting himself effortlessly into their dynamic without disrupting it too much.

Gary “Roach” Sanderson: The youngest and newest addition to the cafe, Gary is the resident nightguard and secondary handyman to Johnny, having joined about a year after the cafe had opened. Gary is the quietest of all the employees, often only communicating through BSL or writing on a notepad that he keeps in his back pocket, but he’s the most expressive of all the employees despite that. He wears a tan face gaiter that covers him from nose to chin, and can sometimes be seen with two homemade antennae secured to his hair with small clips, which the cats love to play with. More often than not, Gary is only seen at night when he comes in to watch the cafe, but if Johnny ever needs a spare set of hands, he’ll come in to help when Nikolai isn’t available, albeit rather sleepily. Gary also chose to leave his Sergeant role after being betrayed by his general, getting shot in the chest and nearly burning alive before someone in his squad managed to save him. He was left with many burn scars and damage to his vocal chords after so much smoke inhalation, making his voice gravelly and painful to use for long periods of time, so hearing him speak is considered a privilege, along with a sign of trust among his fellow brothers in arms. After so long of feeling undervalued, underappreciated, and unconfident, Gary has found a place that sees his importance and makes sure he knows it.

Alejandro Vargas: Co-owner of the second of the three big cat cafes in London, Alejandro’s cafe takes in cats that are rescued from abusive or neglectful homes, spending countless hours of his time gaining their trust in order to get them comfortable around other cats and humans. He also took the time to put higher perches and hiding spots into his cafe for the cats during their adjustment periods, so he always lets patrons know that some cats are more skittish than others and to let those cats come down on their own accord. Alejandro is not afraid to confront patrons who disregard the rules that are set in place and has banned several people from coming back, though it isn’t something he particularly enjoys doing. Alejandro is still Colonel of Los Vaqueros, and now that they’ve finally started cracking down on the Las Almas Cartel and getting closer to putting El Sin Nombre behind bars, he’s allowed himself to take a step back and explore what else he wanted to do with his life. Still, every few months, Alejandro will fly out to Mexico to be back on the field with his team and even offers them jobs at his cafe for when they finally clean up the streets of Las Almas. When he’s not busy with the cafe or working in Mexico, Alejandro often visits the other cafes with his boyfriend, Rodolfo, who gives Alejandro a reason to stay safe while he’s away.

Rodolfo Parra: Co-owner of the cafe alongside Alejandro, Rodolfo, or Rudy as he’s better known as, is an everywhere all at once presence in the cafe, often floating between areas to help wherever it’s needed. Whether it be behind the coffee bar, in the kitchen, at the register, with the cats, or in the office with Alejandro, you’ll rarely not see him working. He also seems to be a cat whisperer, at least that’s what the patrons believe, as he’s the only person certain cats feel comfortable enough with to come down from their perches. Rudy’s clothes are also constantly covered in cat fur since there’s always a cat following him around, and they even enjoy climbing onto his shoulders like he’s their own personal chauffeur. Like Alejandro, Rudy is still Sergeant Major of Los Vaqueros, he’s just on a more extended leave per Alejandro’s request, or rather demand. After a building fire nearly took his life while they were searching for Hassan, Alejandro basically made Rudy take a break from work and join him as his cafe, and Rudy honestly found it both adorable and annoying how much Alejandro fussed over him. He’s finally being allowed to join Alejandro and Los Vaqueros in their pursuit of El Sin Nombre, and as annoyed as he gets with being under Alejandro’s watchful eyes, he wouldn’t change a thing. Reminds Rudy that he has someone who cares right next to him.

Phillip Graves: Owner of the last of the big three cat cafes in London, Graves and his cafe takes in exclusively black cats, giving the most misunderstood felines a second chance to find a home. A cat person at heart, he started his business in remembrance of his childhood pet, Speck. Speck was a grey ocicat that had garnered the nickname ‘Shadow’ thanks to how it would follow Graves around like his shadow. Graves created his business a few months after leaving the MARSOC Raiders, unable to stomach seeing so many men lose their lives while the Generals and Commandants sat pretty in their offices. He hires fellow ex-military men and women, and after a week of working for him, they become one of his ‘Shadows’. He cares very deeply for his employees, pays them handsomely, makes himself a part of their support system, and often hosts parties or celebrations at his home for holidays and birthdays. Graves will and has dropped whatever he’s doing in order to be there for his employees when they need it. When Graves isn’t busy working, he can often be found at the other cat cafes, simply acting as an annoyance in the corner booths he likes to inhabit. He’s a bit of a pain in the ass, but with his suave charm and southern accent, it’s impossible to stay mad at him for very long. Especially not when he breaks out his cat eyes or magically pulls the cutest cat from his cafe out from his jacket as a bribery tool.

Vladimir Makarov: Located near the heart of London is an upscale yet affordable pet hotel, owned by the passionate Makarov, that takes in a high amount of cats compared to any other pet, so much so that it’s now considered a cat hotel instead of a pet hotel. Makarov wants to give any pet that comes in through the doors a relaxing and lavish experience while staying, so he makes sure the rooms are furnished to a tee, the food is of the highest quality, everything is clean, and there’s always someone around to play with the cats so they don’t get too antsy. He also has a bit of a love-hate relationship with John and Nikolai, as while they’re some of his best and well-paying customers, their 10 cats can be such a headache at times. Sure, they can be the sweetest angels when they want to, but there’s something about being at Makarov’s hotel that turns them into the biggest menaces he’s ever seen. And they can act so spoiled, so Makarov has required the two men to bring food and toys from home so their cats will behave more often. Makarov’s business was initially met with some hesitancy, as he could come off as cold and unattached from an outside glance, and he had no issues with taking cats or other pets from owners that were clearly neglectful despite their protests. He has a close relationship with the other cat cafes because of this, and while he wouldn’t consider them friends just yet, Makarov finds himself appreciating his collection of acquaintances and how closely their businesses support each other.

This chart was actually made out of pure self-indulgent a while back with no intention of being posted, I ended up scribbling(?) all over the thing. Hopefully it's readable when zoomed in.

About "tropes": The trope is called Angel-Devil shipping, oh but I don't think PV is an angel. He's more like a God for SM (at least that's my preference)… Thinking at all the possible tropes that suits them make me really wonder why some people consider Shadowvanilla a crack/pro ship. Enemies to lovers or villain/hero ships have been pretty archetypal since the day of olds. Compared to all the ships I've encountered in the past… Shadowvanilla is more or less the "slightly out of the norm" on the "problematic ships scale" <- typing this out make me feel like an old fandom veteran haha

About "how it happens": I have no idea where to put PV on that chart. He's the one who approached first, but not out of romantic intents, him falling for SM is as unexpected as can be. SM fell first and slowly, and in 'slow' I meant decades upon decades. It's inevitable, painfully so, spending all those years watching over this cookie who's so perfect in his imperfections, how could one not feel something? Of course it's not so simple, that 'something' is a horrid mixture of disgust, envy, hatred, understanding, both the need to preserve and destroy… And maybeee the tiniest crumb of affection? SM realized something around the first couple hundredth years mark, he then spends the next thousands in denial of it. No matter. Whether it's PV or the Soul jam, his birth-given rights. SM knows what he wants and he WILL get what he wants. (He's wrong on both fronts. And somewhere in the back of his mind, SM knows that. But he'll never admit it. He'll never ever admit anything. Until it's too late. In a way, the same goes for PV)

About a certain someone who's not clingy, but would die for attention: I think PV gets lonely easily. As he's hyper-aware of himself and considerate of others, appearing clingy is the last thing PV wants. So PV would put extra efforts in taking care of those around him, be it cookies, animals or the greenery in his garden. A healer is always busy, always helpful. If he's always needed by others then he would never be afraid of being alone. Ironically enough, this ended up making PV come off as a little overbearing. As of late, the only ones able to see through the facade are Hollyberry cookie and you-know-who.

Other scattered thoughts: These two are completely different yet can't be more similar, on the various sliding scales they're either stuck to one another or are flung to both ends. On another note, honestly I can't see these two doing anything domestic together, the most I can see is cooking, which is basically the same as magic in the cookie world. Anyways, are they in "love"? Are they dating? Not really, no. It's more of a a parasitic-turned-symbiotic-soulbond, a will-they-won't-they-destroy-the-world situationship (iykyk) I do enjoy relationships that's hard to put into words. Their feelings are somehow romantic, somewhat deranged and something much, much deeper.

My desire to ship these two comes from the desire to see them grow beyound their archetypes. Being with PV does give SM the chance to be horrible as can be, yeah, but I'd like to think SM does have a personality outside of being a villainous tormentor. He spends so long observing others, and now for the first time he's being seen. Now SM have met someone who can see right through him, who can glimpse into those dammed vulnerabilities of his. Being with SM does let us see PV in his darkest moments, but it's at the same time the moments where PV can shine the most, to prove SM that his ideals isn't naïveté or simple platitudes. In canon, SM+PV works well as enemies, but it is the many contradictions born when romance is added into the mix that got me shipping. They simultaneously break down and bolster one another's greatest traits. Like binary stars, they orbit around the other, so close yet so far apart, lest they collide. They could've been so perfect for each other. But not in this life, or the next, or the next...

"why is everyone saying you're dating jude bellingham?" was the first thing i saw when i unlocked my phone. it was 10 pm in spain, but in singapore, where max was for this weekend's race, it would be around 4 am.

"you know how the internet is, mijn leeuw (my lion), don't pay attention to it," i replied. a few minutes passed, and there was no response. worry started to creep in. had i upset him too much?

just when i was about to overthink it, his video call lit up the screen. "are you coming to the race?" he asked, his tone flat. there was no trace of the smile i loved so much.

"are you mad at me?"

"no," he mumbled, more like a petulant child.

"baby, you know i can't control what people say online."

"i know. i just wish everyone knew you were mine."

"it was your idea to keep it a secret," i reminded him.

"well, i don't like that idea anymore."

i let out a nervous laugh, but his blue eyes, even through the screen, conveyed tiredness and something more. i was about to respond when jude appeared behind me. max's expression turned cold.

"are you ready?" jude asked me.

"ready for what?" max snapped, his voice filled with venom.

"we're going to celebrate real madrid's victory, is that okay?"

"whatever. i'll call you later," he said, and hung up before i could reply.

"i'm sorry, i didn't mean to cause any trouble," jude said, visibly uncomfortable.

"it's okay, don't worry about it. i'll see you downstairs, alright?"

i left max messages that he didn't answer, and now all my excitement for going out had vanished.

jude and i have been friends for a while now, it's funny how these rumors are popping up now. we've been trying to laugh it off, but now the situation is getting serious and i'm afraid it might affect my relationship with max.

max sighed. "something like that."

lando showed him his phone. "she just posted something new." max felt a knot in his stomach. "everything's alright between you two, right?"

"yeah, it's just..." max ran a hand through his hair. "i wanted to keep things quiet for a while. you know how fans are." an involuntary smile appeared on his face as he thought of y/n. "sometimes i wish i could show her off to the world, have her come to races with me..."

"and what does she think about that?"

"i know she doesn't mind. in fact, she's told me she'd love to. but i wanted to protect her from the media circus."

lando nodded. "i know, and she knows too. just tell her you want to go public."

"i'll wait until she gets here. she's coming on saturday."

"alright, that's it. don't stress about her and jude. you know they're just friends."

max thanked lando and picked up his phone. as he dialed y/n's number, a sense of calm washed over him. he felt lucky to have someone like her and a friend like lando.

More info: You're apart of 141, no one knows you two are dating, you are younger than him and are shorter than him in this.

Warnings: usage of the word Girl once but it is more geared towards fem! (This is so fucking self indulgent im sorry) possibly ooc for Ghost (idc tbh) , do these even count as domestic? Idk ive never dated someone, nothing else that I know of but do let me know if there is anything that needs to be tagged!

Ghost is so painfully subtle in public with the way he treats you, he'll never outwardly do anything romantic but his actions and how he looks at you while he does it makes people pause.

In your own quarters or homes though, its different.

He's extremely attentive to you, your wants, your needs, your dislikes, he knows it all, he classifies it as important as missions. Simon didn't have a good father growing up, he didn't get to see what a good husband was supposed to be like, he's learning from the bottom up and he takes it seriously.

You'll never have to ask him to make breakfast, he's always up before you and has it cooked on the table with your drink.

Knows exactly when it's the time you wake up, and if he's able he'll go wake you up personally, brushing your hair out of your face and gently running his fingers through to detangle it from your sleeping.

He's yanked you from the street, picked you up just with one arm to make sure you don't walk into something gross on the street, gotten in front of strangers who try and get in your face for something. His body completely covers your own, and he always has weapons on his person, he isn't afraid to resort to maiming someone for you, you're his number one priority.

Simon loves having you sleep on top of him, he finds the weight a good reminder that you're there, you're not going anywhere if you do, he'll notice right away. He demands your attention, this is one he'll do on bass in front of others bc technically he can get a with it. You're next to a recruit he doesn't like? Suddenly there's papers on a recent mission he needs your signature on, or he needs you for special 141 training reasons (he wants you to come with him to the dining hall, he's hungry and he doesn't want to go alone)

Dude stands right up against your back, in every scenario. His chest is probably an inch away from your back. He's playfully called your shadow by Price and the rest of the guys.

He grabs your hips alot, usually just to rest his hands there, occasionally rubbing small circles into the flesh, humming.

Simon will try and subtly leave as well if you leave the room, he gives it 10 minutes before he makes his way out to find wherever you wandered off too 

Price finds it fucking hilarious, he'll look down at his watch and mentally countdown to when Simon makes his escape. Simon can fool most people but not John, the way Ghost will tap his foot and roll his shoulders are tell tale signs that he's had enough of being there.

He'll dance if you want him to, though he simply sways with you in his arms, if you're of a specific culture, he'll try his best to learn it but no promises, while he is fast learner and perfects everything he does, he's a big man, he's not that graceful.

Without thinking if he sees you're cold, he's stripping off his jacket to give it to you, he doesn't ask, he just moves behind you to drape it over your shoulders.

He'll take off his mask with you, and let you trace the scars that litter his face, let you trace his features too, he's fallen asleep to you doing it and he doesn't know how much you cried silently when he did.

Simon practices new jokes on you, to get your opinion of them until he can tell the others, the louder you groan the better the joke is in his eyes.

Soap asks why you don't even react anymore and you just sigh. You are tired.

When he's especially annoyed and done with the day, he just shoves his head into your shoulder, wrapping his arms around you in a death grip while he takes deep breaths, in the least weird possible, your scent and body so close to him helps him destress.

One thing he makes a huge point to do is to clean your guns for you, yes you should do it yourself but ever since y'all have gotten together, he's taken it upon himself.

He's scared, more scared than anything that something will go wrong when you're both not on the same mission, this is just a way he can ensure your gun will fire correctly and efficiently, that you can defend yourself when he isn't there.

Speaking of weapons, he gives you one of his personal knives for you to keep, he'll ask for it back only to sharpen it, everything has to stay in its best shape.

Likes when you drape yourself over him when he's sitting, alas he is just a man so he likes to feel your chest against his back.

Pulls you into his lap if you walk by, he'll let you get up if you truly want to but he'll position you to sit sideways and will rub your legs as he watches whatever is on the TV.

For anyone who has arthritis, Ghost will take the time to rub your ointments into your hands, he knows what weather makes then worse and keeps his own tube of it onhand so he's prepared.

He's always buying you things, he knows that it's not necessary but for him, it sees it as ‘if for some reason I fail at something else, at least I can provide this’ someone hug him he's fighting for his life.

Like TodoDeku- both Katsuki and Izuku are prone to heavy and heat filled kisses. And with these two's history? Who could blame them? Katsuki likes showing off that he had Izuku- that Izuku belongs by his side- neck and neck with him- and Izuku would be lying if he said he didn't adore it. So much missed time between them also fuels this passion- both so desperate to have as much of each other as they can because they both know their jobs are dangerous. They don't want to regret not having enough

Sort of like EraserMic- these two are very low energy when it comes to kisses. That's not to say they aren't passionate- but with Hitoshi's low energy levels from insomnia and Izuku's caring nature- they both have found ways to show affection without causing the other to fret over nonexistent relationship problems. During the day it's no uncommon to see Izuku plant kisses on Hitoshi's cheeks- or for Hitoshi to stop him and kiss the closest piece of skin he can (the most common is Izuku's knuckles or his shoulders). But when they're alone its usually slow and sensual kisses.

These two are the Paparazzi's favorite pairing- It's not rare to find photoshoots of these two being affectionate- whether they're in a relationship or not. Before they ever got together they were touchy- Eijirou always holding onto Ashido, touching her leg, her hands, once they had a photo go around of him holding one of her horns as she was interviewed for her latest takedown. Kisses were not uncommon either. Cheek kisses, kisses on the lips, foreheads, hands, the leg if it's close- these two were so confused when people assumed they were dating despite how affectionate they were in school. However when they began dating it only got worse. Now if Eijirou or Ashido even think there's a camera they'll be making out.

What do you get when you mix and unstoppable force with an immovable wall? You get some of the meanest kissers you've ever witnessed. These two are not afraid to get concerningly into their kisses- I'm talking teeth, blood, spit and sweat. Katsuki isn't afraid to cut his lips on Eijirou's still unbreakable lips and Eijirou isn't afraid to taste blood. They get called the Hannigram couple because of how often they accidentally lick each other's blood and they only greet it with laughter.

TogaChako

Did you know there are two arteries that run across your forehead? Himiko does- and so does Uraraka now as they start dating. I know we all adore the vampire symbolism that comes with neck kisses- and trust me, they do too, but necks aren't the greatest spots for blood flow- foreheads however- foreheads are great spots to feel for arteries and veins. Himiko loves kisses over the Supraorbital Artery since it falls right by the eyebrow- a romantic spot already to kiss- but because of her blood based quirk, she can actually feel the pulse of her heart easily from the artery. She will kiss there whenever she is anxious- or two remind herself that Uraraka is alive and healthy. She also likes feeling her pulse quicken whenever Uraraka gets embarrassed.

DabiHawks

These two are used to quick and short flings with one another- its apart of their jobs. They both know if either side found out about them that it'd be taken from them- either by a decaying hand or by corporate measures. They know their relationship is dangerous- not only for the other but themselves too, so they keep their kisses to the confinement of their midnight meetings. Always in hidden shadows- alleyways and trees that Hawks flies them to. They kiss with everything- often with Hawks knocking his teeth on one of Dabi's staples or his piercings if the kisses travel. Dabi is often the reason why Hawks carries Chapstick- because when you're kissing for hours at a time, it gets dry fast.

TodoShinDeku

These three are kiss fanatics. Mixing Shouto's need for affection, Izuku's tendency to care for everybody at once, and Hitoshi's love for witnessing his partners- you'll often find them tucked away like these. Shouto and Izuku usually lock lips, while Hitoshi is usually late to join, but just as happy to kiss at the skin available to him. That isn't to say he never gets to steal lips for himself- but he's often just happy to watch the two of them, touching their hands and shoulders to show his appreciation for the view. That often earns him a hand in his hair, or fingers on his biceps as the two open their eyes to watch him in return. They make it a show- just for him and they all adore it

Chuuya is a proud man who isn’t afraid to show off what’s his, that includes you- his lover.

From countless precious gifts to extravagant dates at 5 star restaurants, he makes sure to shower and pamper you with anything and everything his money can buy.

Countless people around Yokohama envied you, just think about it! You were an extraordinary individual that caught the eye and affections of one of the port mafia executives.

At first, you began to feel confident- proud even. People would praise your beauty and admire your sense of mannerism, some even seeing you as inspiration and strived to follow in your footsteps in hopes to one day reach your achievements.

Unfortunately for you, every good thing must come to an end.

“I seriously don’t get what executive Chuuya Nakahara sees in such a plain individual.”, the sneaky comment filled with bitterness found its way to your ear as you passed by two lower rank workers.

Your steps faltered and you quickly fixated your gaze at the individuals with the full intent to snap back. Yet your words were cut short as you saw almost everyone’s eyes on you, their gaze filled with judgement as they looked you up and down.

Their eyes trailed from your legs to the expensive promise ring decorating your neck.

All of a sudden your body felt warm, your face feeling hot and your palms becoming damp as your mind swirled with self conscious thoughts.

“What is it? Wait- what did they say? Do I have something on me? Plain looking? Nono they couldn’t have possibly- Is there something on my face, why are they staring like that?”

Just as your mind began to fabricate irrational scenarios a loud and stern voice rang through the main lobby.

“The hell is wrong with you all? Is this what I pay you scum for, to gawk at my lover? Get back to work.”, as soon as the crowd heard the familiar harsh voice they all dispersed and ran off, leaving you standing utterly in a trance.

A familiar touch snapped you out of your thoughts as you turned and were face to face with your boyfriend.

Chuuya saw your somber expression and raised an eyebrow, wondering what happened. “Well you look upset, the hell happened?”, his question remained unanswered as you avoided the topic.

He decided not to push it and hung his arm around your shoulders as he led you to his office.

As you two walked you couldn’t help but look at him and wonder woefully if what the lower rank workers said was true.

“Just look at him…he is a port mafia executive, one of the strongest ability users the world has ever seen. He is handsome, rich, confident, proud, and admired by all…maybe they were right, how could he be with someone so plain?”, your mind spiraled. Your once bright and confident smile was now reduced to a sad frown.

Chuuya took note of your quietness and found it rather unlike you. Usually, you would spend hours upon hours talking to him about any event that went on in your life. He always payed close attention and loved the sparkle that shined so brightly in your eyes as you talked about the most unimportant thing. Chuuya could care less if the topic of conversation was relevant or not, he just liked hearing your voice…a voice that now- was crucially missing from his day.

He stopped walking as he noticed you looking at your promise ring with a doubtful look. His brows furrowed and he immediately questioned you again, looking into your eyes with concern and sternness. “What exactly did those assholes say to you?”, his voice demanding.

You knew you couldn’t lie to him so you told him everything they said. Your hands fidgeted with the promise ring as your voice trembled.

He immediately cursed out and condemned them all to hell. He cupped your cheek and told you to not listen to the words of envious low lives.

His words were full of determination as he reassured you he loved you, every breath you took was like a drug to him. Your voice was beautiful, your eyes were unlike any others, and your delicate mind should not stump itself with the opinions of irrelevant people.

He gently kissed your lips and wrapped his gloved hands around you…quietly whispering praises against your skin.

You were his everything, you weren’t plain- you were extraordinary. If he could, he would choose you over and over again…

Dazai

Dazai, in short words, is very handsome- and he knows it.

He was trained from youth to easily sweet talk his way into getting anything he wanted.

And luckily for him…he managed to capture the most precious thing he wanted, your heart~

His love for you knows no bounds and he does everything to show it.

Late night talks, special dates, flirty texts, and constant “I love you” reminders.

You were sure of yourself, he worshipped the very ground you walked on. He was the most loyal and loving man you knew.

Yet who knew one simple comment would be enough to shatter the illusion…

“Oh to not be taken by such a lovely woman, pity” Dazai said dramatically towards a waitress, Clearly intending to tease and bring slight jealousy out of you…an innocent joke really.

Yet the only thing that sly comment brought out of you was insecurity. Your mind spiraled with questions and comparisons as your eyes drifted to the busy waitress.

Your eyes scanned her up and down, maybe he was right…she was lovely.

Days passed and all that filled your mind were negative criticisms of yourself and praises towards the waitress.

You began to recall any previous interactions your boyfriend had and blatantly blew them all out of proportion/context.

Afternoons were spent grabbing and pulling at your skin from your stomach to your back, hating any and every part you could grab as you felt nothing but flaws.

You began to subconsciously miss meals out of self loathing, hobbies were now shredded down to just hours upon hours of scrolling through social media as your mind grew dimmer.

Worst of all, anytime you looked at Dazai your heart ached, maybe he would be happier with someone worth his time and affection…

Dazai is a very observant and intelligent individual, so your frowns and quiet glances did not go unnoticed.

He observed your behavior and easily connected the dots…

Guilt and dread instantly filled his expression as you broke and confessed just how much of an impact that seemingly innocent comment had on you.

He held your hand and listened intently as you explained how you felt; the negative thoughts, the missing meals, and worst of all…the pure unworthiness you felt of his love.

Dazais words matched his eyes, full of sincerity and sadness as he apologized and reassured you he did not mean anything nefarious with that idiotic comment. His hands held onto your waist, gently soothing you as he spoke.

To him, your tears were earth shattering…how could he have so naively hurt his most precious jewel? His perfect love? His one and only…

Honkai Star Rail Men as Your Boyfriend

Argenti

Argenti is a very passionate man, and that doesn't change when it comes to his relationship with you. He doesn't let his work keep him spending time with you, Argenti will always find time to spend time with you. He's always complimenting you, he won't let you forget how beautiful he thinks you are. He can be a bit protective, but he also knows that you can handle yourself. That doesn't mean he won't step in if you're in danger. Whether it be someone simply making you uncomfortable or someone actually trying to hurt you, he will make sure to defend you. Argenti loves taking you on romantic dates where he spoils you. Even if you tell him it's not necessary, he doesn't care. His favorite gift to give you is roses. He doesn't have a single love language, he likes physical touch, acts of service, gift giving, and words of affirmation. He's a very sweet boyfriend.

Blade

Blade doesn't seem like the type to be able to be in a relationship. He comes off as cold and heartless to most. But when it comes to you, you've managed to worm your way into his heart. With you, he still isn't completely expressive with his emotions, but he is a bit more soft. Someone like him wouldn't be expected to care for someone, but he does care about you deeply. Blade is the definition of protective, the moment he thinks that someone is even thinking about hurting you, he's ready to kill them. Even if you're more than capable of defending yourself, he will step in. Blade isn't very romantic most of the time, though he tries just to see you smile. Surprisingly, he doesn't mind physical affection, though in public he'll only have his arm wrapped around your waist. In private, he's a bit more touchy. He's both your scary dog privileges and a teddy bear.

Dan Heng

Dang Heng isn't as closed off as blade, but he isn't as expressive as Argenti. He simply enjoys spending quiet time with you. He isn't afraid to show affection in public, but he does keep it toned down when there are people watching. He's absolutely smitten with you, when the two of you are alone, he will shower you with compliments. His favorite way to spend time with you is staying in your shared room and cuddling. As long as you're there with him he's content. When the two of you are adventuring together, he's always watching out for you. He cares about you and wants to make sure that you're safe. He knows you can handle yourself, but he's ready to step in to protect you if need be. When it comes to his past, he does tell you eventually. To Dan Heng's relief, you only see him for who he is, not who he's a reincarnation of. It makes him happy that you don't tie him to a past that he doesn't want to keep himself attached to. He very much cherishes you.

Dr. Ratio

Dr. Ratio is the type of person that most people assume isn't interested in a relationship. Being in a relationship means you got his attention with your personality. He takes pride in being in a relationship with you and will brag about it. He subtly shows you off but will deny it if someone brings it up. Dr. Ratio isn't a very social person, but he's willing to talk to you for hours. You're the only person he likes.

Gepard

Gepard is a man of duty, and because of that, he isn't around as much as he would like. He does make time for you when he can since he knows you get lonely when he's gone. When he is away, he's always thinking of you, and he makes sure that he comes back to you. When the two of you are together, he's always close to you. He'll have an arm wrapped around your waist, keeping an eye out for any possible danger. He's also very soft with you, making you feel loved all the time. He doesn't care if his sister teases him for it, he's not ashamed to show that he loves you. Speaking of, his siblings fully support your relationship.

Welt

You and Welt spend a lot of time together, especially on the Astral Express. The two of you enjoy just spending time with each other in silence. You don't feel the need to talk to each other all the time, just being in each other's company is comforting enough. When either of you leave the Astral Express, you both worry about each other a lot, you keep in contact with each other to make sure nothing went wrong. When the two of you are together on an adventure, you have each other's back. Your relationship with Welt is simple yet loving.

Sampo

Sampo is usually a very cunning man, though he is willing to show you a bit more of his actual personality. He is still dramatic around you, always wanting to make you blush whenever he can. He's also worried that he's putting you in danger since he's made quite a few enemies over time. He's protective over you and he will keep a close eye on you when he can. He love language his gift giving, which he does a lot. Sampo wants to spoil you, even when you tell him he doesn't have to. All he wants is to make you smile.

Dating Yandere Bo Sinclair Would Include:

As a yandere, he's extremely aggressive and dominant, and he's possessive, obsessive, and manipulative. He takes what he wants, and it's always in the most extreme way possible.

When he decides he wants something, he will do anything he can to get it and do anything to keep it. He will manipulate, deceive, and even harm anyone that he sees as a threat to get what he wants, and he won't feel guilty about it either, once he has what he wants, he'll go to any lengths to keep it and ensure he has full control the relationship.

He can also be quite charming and charismatic at times, able to turn on his charm in order to manipulate or even exploit others. He'll use honeyed words and sweet talk to convince people to do his bidding and often use gifts and tokens of affection to make others feel special and to make himself look good.

His possessive and obsessive nature means that he can become very jealous and aggressive when he thinks someone else is trying to interfere with what he considers his. He will use everything at his disposal to make sure that your attention and affection only belong to him and no one else.

He's not afraid to resort to violence and threats to keep what he perceives as his and he'll go to just about any lengths to do so. He'll play with your emotions, make you feel like he loves you but if you upset him, make him angry he'll turn it against you in an instant.

He's also very controlling and manipulative, always trying to make you do what he wants you to do, even if it's not what you really want. He'll use different tactics to make you feel like you need to agree with him and give in to his demands.

He's great at playing mind games with you, making you second-guess yourself and your decisions. He'll try to make you feel like your choices are wrong and that he's the only one who knows what's best, and he'll use your weaknesses and vulnerabilities against you to get the upper hand in the relationship.

In front of others Bo, puts on a charming and hospitable persona, trying to portray himself as a friendly and welcoming person. He will typically speak in a casual, almost playful manner, and make it seem as if he is nothing but genuine. In reality, he's far from friendly and is just pretending to keep up the illusion of being a normal person. He's also extremely manipulative and calculating, using his charm and manners to get what he wants.

Bo can definitely give reassurance to you, but it's not coming from a place of kindness, it's more of a calculated move to keep you under control. He's constantly reassuring you of his love and devotion, telling you how much you mean to him, and how he'll always be there for you no matter what. But behind all of that, everything he says comes with a hidden price.

He can be very generous, often showering you with gifts and rewards, both material and emotional. But it's all about him trying to keep you completely focused on him, he wants to show off how much he cares for you in order to make you dependent on him and keep you from straying. But he's also unpredictable, and those rewards will often come with strings attached.

His punishments can range from more subtle, emotional manipulations and put-downs, he can be very cruel and hurtful in his words and actions. But he can also be more overt and physical in his punishments, he might use threats, intimidation, or even violence to keep you under his control, but he's careful to make sure that his methods leave no trace so he will rarely, if ever, cause any actual physical damage.

You and Bo will most likely find yourselves in a toxic cycle of fighting and making up, he will say or do everything he can to rile you up and get a reaction but then once he has he'll turn on the charm and you'll fall back again. It's a constant back and forth that will wear you down but he'll never let it end because he needs you under his control.

His affection is always accompanied by a measure of possessiveness and control, he'll be extremely affectionate and loving, showering you with attention and gifts but it's all a manipulative tactic to make you feel indebted and beholden to him. He's constantly trying to show you how much he loves you, but it's all a means to an end - the end being complete control over you.

Bo can certainly take you on dates, and he'll often go all out, trying to impress you with his thoughtfulness and charm. But these dates are more about him showing you off and making sure that his love and devotion to you is clear to everyone around. He wants to make sure that everyone knows that you belong to him and that he's in charge of your relationship.

If he thinks that someone is a threat to his relationship with you, he will not hesitate to kill them. He'll do anything to keep you by his side, including resorting to violence and letting Vincent take over to turn them into wax.

He wouldn't take it lightly, to put it lightly. Any attempt to break up, or even just step out of line, would be met with a huge outburst from him. He'd try to convince you to stay, and if you tried to leave him he would become very possessive, aggressive, and even violent to get you to stay. He'd use whatever means necessary to make sure that you never leave him.

Lester is generally happy that Bo found someone, and often in charge of watching you and keeping you out of harm's way when Bo can't, he's always happy to see you. Vincent on the other hand, might be a bit more observant and realize the situation you're in, but he might be hesitant to intervene, as the two brothers seem to have a pretty co-dependent relationship and he might be afraid to make Bo angry if he's trying to rescue you.

Bo would absolutely love nothing more than to marry you and have you by his side permanently and publicly, but only where he has you tightly under his control. He'd use the marriage as a way to show off his dominance and to make sure that everyone knows that you're his property and only his, forever. He'd be very possessive and protective, not wanting you to have any interaction with other people like those who come through town.

Bo would probably want children, but again, only under his terms. He'd only see them as a way to tie you to him, and as an extension of his own genetics and lineage. He'd be very jealous and possessive over them, not wanting you or them to have any kind of independence from him. He'd probably be a very hands-on, overprotective, and micromanaging parent, wanting to be in control of every aspect of their lives.

He would be very disappointed and upset if you didn't want or couldn't have children, but he wouldn't give up. He'd probably pressure you and try all kinds of manipulation tactics to get you to change your mind, or try to find other ways to satisfy his desire for you to have his kids.
