Shez knew how to wield a sword, had been practicing with one since before they left their home village (if it could be called practice then, since it was more swinging a stick with the enthusiasm of a child lost in daydreams of adventure), and had made their trade as a merc using one. Using an axe was an entirely different matter, and yet, they decided to pick up the challenge. Fewer ways there were to stay in top form then also expanding your knowledge of other fighting forms, and if they could use a couple axe based tricks with their dual swords, all the better for them in the long run.

Of course, they had to make it even more challenging for themself in asking Dimitri to spar with them while they learned. He always knew how to push them to their limits in a spar, and considering they were in the middle of a war, they figured it would help accelerate their training. It was brutal though, and they hadn't won a single match yet (infuriating, but they were determined to win at least once).

Which is why, when they finally managed to disarm Dimitri and knock him onto his back, they froze is surprise. It took a few seconds before their face split into a bright grin, they slammed their axe point down into the ground, and genuinely jumped in their air with a fist pump for joy. "I did it!" The joy was palpable and rang in the air as they jumped at Dimitri, not really forgetting he was on the ground, but also not truly aware of it, and partially tackling him back down as he was trying to stand. Grabbing his face, they kissed him, their satisfaction in this match practically radiating off of them. "Thank you Dimi, I couldn't have done this without your help." A brief brush of their nose against his, and then they were crawling off to offer him a hand up. "Let's celebrate in the dining hall! Whaddya say?"

Ghost: I’d go with a black cat, low maintenance and he can leave it if he has to with just bowl of food and water. Black cat because he felt bad for them at the shelter since they get adopted less.

Soap: this man can not be trusted with anything more than one of those 1 dollar pet store snails.

Gaz: definitely a Lab or a Golden Retriever too.

Roach: man has a tank of roaches

Laswell: her and her wife probably have those really pretty Mane Coon(sorry if I spelled it wrong) cats, but they aren’t really hers.

He’s traditional in some sense. He believes in wooing a women. So he’ll leave you notes.

“Come see me after lights out” and you would. You would sneak out and talk and drink.

More thank once he had you sat on his knee and arm around your waist head turning to look at you once in a while. He would try and convince you to spend the night in his quarters.

His drunken confession would be that “I won’t be making love ta ya yet darlin’ I just wanna hold ya”

You weren’t a doctor. You weren’t trained in medical science. Yet every time he hit injured he turned up at the door of your lab or even your quarters.

Eyes sparking with joy when the door opens to show your angered form. “Again!” It wasn’t a question at this point. You almost think he was doing this on purpose. You just didn’t get why.

He would sit so still when you patched him up. Whether it was a graze or fill gash that required stitches. Even when you have to use a needle to pull the edges of the torn skin together, he doesn’t complain. He sits there legs spread eyes focused on you, a dangerous smirk on his lips. When you were done he would sit up throw you a wink and mumble “thanks sweetheart” walking away.

He would always find reasons to want to be around you. Picking things up when you drop them. Grabbing things when you can’t reach, almost acting as a shadow.

He asks you random questions. Basic stuff but if it isn’t obvious that he should know he will either radio you or find you somewhere.

When you disappear into the mountains with Jake and the others he’s restless. He doesn’t like you being so far out of the way. Somewhere where he can’t protect you.

He will try and ask about you in subtle ways. In his replies to Jakes reports he will try to ask how the group as a whole are doing. “Is the group functioning to the east capacity” Jake maybe be a golden retriever boy but he isn’t dense. He will reply to all the important information and then pushing his luck he will add. “(Y/N) is fine”

When he fly’s out the drag you all back to hells gate and Lyle gets a little rough with you… he goes insane.

When his eyes meet yours he stiffens. You were standing behind grace. Arms folded over your chest and a obvious bruise on your cheek. He does his best to keep his composure but when you are all taken to your cell he stops you pulls you to one side.

He traps you between his arms, back flush against the wall. “Who hurt you” “Lyle” you bite back his expression scared you he looked like he was about to explode. “I’ll fucking kill him”

He kept you by him for the rest of the evening his hand resting on the base of your back. Something so subtle and gentle but you don’t know how to feel. You don’t know how you feel. And when Jake and the others break out, you run.

And it breaks his heart. You grab a mask and you bolt for the ship. Knowing he won’t shoot, knowing he will avoid trying to hit you. In hopes it will save your friends. He stands there. Staring at the spot where he lost sight of you.

And he wonders where he went wrong. He waits until it hits him. He never once said the words “I love you”

Baldurs Gate 3 Origin Characters and Co. as Dog Breeds

If I’m not thinking about BG3 I’m thinking about dogs therefore I’m qualified to do this.

Halsin- Newfoundland, Because not only is he a large hairy man but he’s soft, ready to work, save lives and most of all he wants to take a nap.

Gale- Everyone WANTS him to be a Golden Retriever. But if you give it two seconds of thought you realize that he does NOT have golden retriever energy and that in fact he is just a little guy who is smarter than you and probably has ADHD. So he is a Miniature American Shepherd.

Karlach- She could honestly go so many ways but if you REALLY think about her backstory, personality and overall vibe you cannot tell me she isn’t an American Staffordshire Terrier like!! The breed was made for bloodsport and yet they still love people??? Are you kidding me??? (Not to be confused with the American Pitbull terrier, American bully, staffordshire bull terrier or American bulldog)

Lae’zel- She is a coated Belgian Malinois which without getting into the dichotomy of the Belgian Shepherd breed basically just know she is a full on bred for biting and protection Mal who just also happens to have really nice hair.

Shadowheart- Basenji, why? Because it is the most undog-like dog to ever dog. When I was trying to figure her out it took every ounce of strength to not just write “cat” and move on. Basenji are aloof with strangers, small, sneaky but still USEFUL!! They had jobs and did their jobs well. Just like god’s favorite princess.

Wyll- He’s just a lab yk? He’s a classic, he’s the safe choice, he’s liked by so many and really really hated by a select few. Has drive to not just work but to SUCCEED! So so useful and practical. He can fit into any crowd or situation and typically come out a few friends ahead.

Astarion- Shiba Inu. And no Astarion army it is not because he’s cute and popular it’s because he hates strangers, is always looking for ways to get himself ahead, probably stole my sandwich, and honestly?? He would absolutely scream bloody murder if I tried to trim his nails.

least favorite thing about them - also on a meta level. look. im not a nasty little hater (except when i am), but i have to admit that the writers are CONSTANTLY shoving him to the side in favor of the rest of the cast. even in his own game, Monster Roadtrip, a majority of the events tend to lean on polly being the center-focus with scott acting as her sidekick. this was esp apparent in the End of the Road ending where Polly was basically the main character while Scott was also There (sort of). ill admit i partially understand this since polly is generally a more active character while scott is more reactive, but still, id love to see my boy get his kudos

he seems to be a morning person to me, being a martial artist enthusiast and all. it's part of his routine to wake up early and drag any unfortunate person to his morning exercise and stretches that is soul crushing from how painful it is. also don't even try to sleep through his first call out to you for the morning exercise, he will become your personal rooster so just you can accompany him.

cha hae-in.... i honestly think she's a white cat just to contrast jinwoo but she's more of an angel to be with in general or I'm just biased to girls... anyway she seems more aloof and quiet compared to an orange cat or any dog breed except for a few probably but to me she's a cat from just how she strut in those panels lmfaoo

Uzi tried screwing around with the Solver thingy on N (V wouldn't let her do shiz and tbh i agree Uzi shouldn't be near a lab because the first thing she'll do is make mustard gas that spawns funky fungus everywhere it touches) aaaand it got a biiiittt too far and she fucked up! A little!

N pretty much started feeling this random sharp pain in his... Well- everywhere, like he's tryna grow but can't, and also his temper was... Affected quite a bit. As in he gets a little angrier a little easier. As in you hurt Uzi he's eating you after he's done slamming you around a la Hulk with Loki in that one movie

Aaaand at some point yeah he's finding the reason for his random sharp pains :)

He has a beast form now that activates whenever he's stressed or overstimulated and boy is it painful when he transforms

His design, instead of being N but beeg, it's N with flesh and bones all over, increasing his size by a LOT

He's FERAL feral in this form, roaring and all that jazz, mighty impulsive and follows instinct instead of thought (his instincts boils down to "cause of stress has to disappear, unless it's Uzi she can give good pets")

Of course he purrs and is capable of being chill in this form, he just needs a certain goth girl to help him snap out of it... And deal with his pains after turning back a few minutes later. Yes he can turn back but it hurts just as much and leaves him kinda cranky lol

You’ve opened the flood gates of me and my love of dogs, so I’m giving EVERYONE a dog breed!

Riddle: bichon frisé, à very cutie small white puffball of a dog, but are high maintenance with their coats and mental stimulation. One of the smarter dog breeds, but also with a need to please. One of the healthiest dog breeds I know of (they never die! Like ever!), but with a need for schedules. Because of the need for mental stimulation, they are a breed that needs strict rules, and strict schedules or they get confused and frustrated.

Trey: some sort of Rottweiler. Laid back, family loving, happy to sit in the presence of others. Not overly large, but still needing exercise, but also happy to just sit on the couch. Also, I feel their stockier build best fits Trey

Cater: shih tzu or Pekingese, both are one of the most ancient breeds, once only allowed to only be owned by the royal Chinese family, some where even given standings in courts! They adore attention, and affection, but tend to only listen to a select few, if any. Cater is a difficult character to get to trust, much like a shih tzu, but I feel once he does trust you he’s attached at the hip much like a Pekingese

Deuce: pit bull. There is no other dog breed I can think of for Deuce that fits as well as a pittie! Tough and aggressive? Yes. Also a loving big baby? Yes. When trained properly, pits are great dogs, but because they can have short tempers, it’s best to not leave them unaccompanied around children. They’re STRONG, so people who can’t wrestle one to the ground if needed shouldnt own one.

Ace: Affenpincher, sassy brats of dogs who would die for their people but refuse to listen to them. One of the more “human like” dogs as they will hold a grudge, and they’ve got an attitude to rival a sassy toddler!

Leona: basset hound, stubborn, can be lazy, but when they put their minds (or noses) to something nothing gets them off track! While bassets aren’t the smartest breeds, I think they fit enough for Leona to be an outlier (nearly said Rhodesian ridgeback because they were breed to hunt lions! Lol)

Ruggie: (hyenas are closer related to cats than they are dogs! But they actually have their own class so whatever) I struggled! But I think lab fits best. They’re basically walking stomachs, and will do anything for food! They are easy to train when given treats, but also have a tendency to just start doing tricks if you’re eating something they want. Intelligent, and friendly reminds me of Ruggie.

Jack: dogo Argentino. A dog if more popular would give pits a run for their money with the villianization! STRONG dogs, we’re originally bread to hunt wild boars, they’re tough dogs! And while extremely loyal, they have a tendency to refuse to attack who they deem as friends. Super courageous (that word took me four tries to spell) they’re high energy with a need to please their people!

Azul: Japanese Akita, loyal but reserved around strangers, these are smart dogs! They tend to be more socially difficult when around other dogs, tending to snap and resource guard, but with their people they are ready to share, sometimes… they’re more reserved with affection, but if you get down they won’t refuse some love and kisses

Jade: Basenji, also known as Africa’s “backless dog” is a silent but intelligent hunting breed! They tend to hide in the shadows before striking, but also love their few people they allow in their circle. NOT family dogs as they don’t like many people, but great for a small household.

Floyd: Central Asian Shepard, NOT FOR MOST DOG OWNERS! I’ve got my gripes! CSA are dogs that NEED jobs, they’re breed to protect livestock in Mangolia and Northern China. These dogs are powerful, and known to hunt down wolves nearby! But they’re babies with their owners, even if they prefer staying outdoors, they won’t turn down a snack or cuddle. But also indépendant where they’ll find their own food

Kalim: golden retriever, loving, friendly, though not the smartest, just a ball of sunshine.

Jamil: Chinese crested (one of my favorite breeds!) are smart, sassy dogs who LIVE for praise. They tend to be picky eaters, and don’t always do well with other dogs as they can be attention hogs, but they are also breed to hunt rats on Chinese trading shops, so they need a lot of exercise

Vil: standard poodle, OR a doberman (partly cause dobies are one of my favorite breed!) both are extremely intelligent, but also can be aggressive when around new dogs as they like being incharge.

Rook: borzoi coonhound mix. Originally I said fox hound, but coonhounds have a sleeker look, and a friendlier personality. Borzois are gorgeous and would die for their people, but are dumb as a box of rocks. Coonhounds are not as pretty, but not ugly either, and known to live for praise. Both are hunting breeds and need their exercise, or they will find some way to exercise (coonhounds are also escape artists)

Epel: i can only see Epel as a yorkie. Big personality, underestimated, super pretty, need of mental and physical stimulation. It just fits him perfectly!

Idia: Carolina, shy and suspicious little buggers who prefer quiet homes, with little activity’s around. But they need their mental stimulation as well. Not the smartest breed, but not the dumbest, they’re independence can get them into trouble though.

Ortho: English Cocker Spaniel (Lady from Lady and the Tramp) are friendly, sweet and loving dogs. They will bend over backwards for their people, and are just some of the sweetest dogs I have ever met!

Malleus: Komodor, the dog that looks like a mop. They’re strong sheepdogs who are willing to die to protect their flock. Soft and docile around their people, but reserved around strangers, they can even come off as agressive when you’re just starting to know them.

Lilia: Icelandic Sheepdog, the only breed from Iceland! Friendly, faithful and charming, their such sweeties! They do their job then come trotting back for a pat.

Silver: German Shepard, strong, sturdy, and protective. One of the best guard dog breeds I can think of, and amazing to train! Ready to please, and ready to play!

Sebek: bull terrier, head strong, loyal, and can be downright aggressive in their love! Their the dog to bowl you over when you get home! They’re hard working dogs who need exercise!

Cats or Dogs?

Which do the chacaters of Arcane prefer? The sometimes ferocious felines? Or the playful pups?

Vi

Now, Vi may be a lebsian, however she does not follow any rules and shes not about to start now. Violet would definately have two dogs. One would be a super cute, super fluffy fur baby. While the other would be some big bulky protecter. She loves both her dogs equally and they go everywhere with her. For her smaller dog she would have a littler carrier for when it gets tired. As for her "scary" dog, she would most likely get a breed with lots of stamina so they wouldn't have trouble keeping up as she runs through the streets of Piltover. Names. When it comes to names, Vi would be very basic. Something along the lines of Fluffy and Spike. Only theres one catch. Fluffy would big her big dog while Spike would most certainly be her small baby.

She had considered calling one her of dogs Naked or Nude just so she could watch people's faces turn to horror when she said "Let me just go get naked."

Vi's dogs are very well behaved.

Caitlyn

Caitlyn is not a rule breaker. However, this is not because she dislikes dogs or even because she prefers cats. Infact, Caitlyn likes both dogs and cats. But due to the nature of herself job, she tends to not have enough time to properly care for a dog.

She never planned to get any animal due to her job, but when she found Whisker scared and alone in the wreckage of a burned down building, she knew he needed a good home.

When whisker first came into Caitlyns care he had a few burns which she tried her hardest to take care of. And with the help of the cities finest vet, whisker healed up in no time at all.

Whisker was never overly loving unless it was on his terms. With that being said, he did like to stay close to his master. This worked rather well for Caitlyn because she could get on with her work and not have to worry about Whisker being upset.

Whisker does not like dogs but Vi's dog fluffy is his bestfriend. Hates all other dogs.

Whisker is not that well behaved and will scratch all the expensive furinture in the house with no cares. Caitlyn never tells him off because she loves him so much. Her mother on the other hand... is not a fan of the cat.

Pumpkin/Blackberry are protective of her master. In fact, when Jayce and Mel had gotten into a partiularly heated argument, she wake up and placed herself between Mel and Jayce. Then she got into a defensive stance, bristled her fur and showed Mel her teeth. All whilst letting out a low warning growl.

Mel wasn't afraid of Pumpkin/Blackberry but she did leave while remarking that Jayce should teach his dog some manners.

"Maybe you should ask Vi for some advice? Even her dogs are better behaved than this."

Jayce wasn't mad Pumpkin/Blackberry he was fuming at Mel though for how they acted but he did secretly agree with Mel.

Pumpkin/Blackberry still has some training to go before she can be the best girl around.

-mick is kind of a golden retriever but in my opinion he is more of a blue eyed labrador

maybe bc he's a little shy and g retrievers are all out a have a very energetic vibe even when with strangers they're over energetic, but I feel like mick is more of a shy person who might be social but doesn't initiate any interaction + mick with short hair looks exactly like a labrador don't lie to yourself guys

-mick invites estie everywhere bc he's a very intuitive person (not that you need it to see it) but he feels like estie is always kinda left out even when he is invited to things - he is a empath and you can't change mind

-I know how bad it is to "diagnose" people out of nowhere BUT as a neurodivergent my self I feel such a neurodivergent vibe from him?!? am I the only one?

-out of all the drivers he's the one who seems to try to get out of his bubble the most (if we count Seb and Lewis out) he engages and tries to learn + support a lot of things that are socially important, out of the younger drivers he is the one who shows most interested in it too. Five long, excruciating seconds pass. Bit by bit, Icarus pulls Crys up, till they’re both collapsed and wheezing in the snow, safe on the clifftop, the Witchrisen far below them. “Well,” Icarus says, still out of breath, and he eyes the last of the rope as it goes over the side, eliciting an angry shriek a moment later when the Witchrisen finds no prey on the other end. “That was not fun. Thanks for the save, though, uh…” He turns towards the hooded figure, packing away the short length of rope they’d manage to hack off and salvage into a small satchel sitting in the snow. “Oh, don’t thank me,” they grouse, “ruined my day and my rope. What I want to know” – they whirl, finally tugging down their hood to reveal the freckled, scowling face of a young girl – “is just what the fuck did you do to piss of a Witchrisen that size?”

SYNOPSIS:

The Khujsa Mountains. Cold, unforgiving, and housing one of the Anti-Magic Army's biggest strongholds, it might also just be the most dangerous place anywhere in the country, especially for Beasts.

After a week of travelling, Crys and Icarus have finally reached the Elai Pass. From there, they're supposed to pass through to Riel, and then it's (mostly) smooth sailing all the way to Tel, where Icarus's contact resides.

But upon arrival, they find that things may not be as easy as they seem.

A Beast rebellion group. A Halfling in the AMA. And a young, brash girl who seems to hate the AMA just as much as she hates Beasts, and who certainly has something of her own to hide. Throw that onto the fact that Elai is an AMA stronghold, add in a Knight Captain from the Order of Klysmos, plus sprinkle in the hint of a conspiracy…well, they've certainly got their work cut out for them.

On the other end, after an equally stressful two weeks, Beatriz Das-Reille has finally reached Crys's village… just to find out Icarus is already long gone. However, she soon gets her own set of problems to worry about - joining up with Dahlia Reistveil brings to light that a certain poacher group has come back to town, and that this entire operation may run deeper than she's ever imagined. Does she go after Ink, now that she knows where he is? Or does she pursue this deeper and unearth what's going on, despite the risk it brings and the fact that she'll have to abandon her original goal?

Crys had picked to save someone in the face of an impossible choice. Icarus just wants to get home. Beatriz had never asked for any of this, and Dahlia only wants to do the right thing, but  one thing is true for all of them.

No matter their intentions at first, they've just been pulled into something that might be far bigger than them - and if they aren't careful, that something will swallow them whole. No country is without its secrets, after all, and Kosei has quite the number of skeletons in her closet…

okay so my wip intros are kind of a mess right now, and I still haven't made a page for beast, but since I'm working on book 2 right now and there are a lot more new characters, I figured I should at least attempt to clear up some of the future confusion.

here’s a few exemple to support my argument:

peter would tell tony right away about spider man and they would work in secret on a super suit. pepper gets mad at the both of them. especially tony. he’s supposed to be the adult and set a good exemple, but honestly, pepper isn’t sure why she expected better

peter messes with tony. a lot. like he uses his big brain to hack into jarvis and then friday to change the name of the protocols to something ridiculous and nonsensical. just for the comedic effect. he also locks tony out of the code to enjoy the chaos just that much longer

pepper tries to give her son a somewhat normal life, forgetting that he basically grew up holed in a lab with tony. as a consequence of that fact, peter freaks e v e r y o n e out with his obscure science knowledge. his teachers gave up. tony is proud. pepper is tired

everyone at si loves him. they think he’s the loveable son of their lovely ceo. r&d knows it’s a lie though. they saw peter crawl through the vents in the middle of the night once, for the sole purpose of pranking tony. there’s also the time they saw him build a ghoul like animatronic only to set it loose in the tower (what can i say, the boy loves chaos). they do not trust the golden retriever mask

everyone that isn’t r&d finds him real polite tho. they often ask him to run errands like bringing paperwork to his mum and stuff

everyone who isn’t in the know thinks peter is an orphan, and no matter how many times he explained that no, mary parker was not his mother, just his dad’s wife, his mom is still alive thankyouverymuch, they still deny the truth. he just became peter “i’m not an orphan” parker to the outside world. it annoys him very much. especially since he can’t say the full truth due to Security Reasons. he loves his mom very he much and would consequently love to brag about her

peter calls tony mr stark the moment there’s an impressionable soul (read; new employee that isn’t familiar with the si dynamic) in the vicinity. he knows tony hates it because it makes him feel old. he doesn’t care. he likes being a pain in the ass.

Every 87 years the courts of the Seelie and Unseelie come together for an arranged wedding between members of prominent families in order to maintain the peace.

This year, Enid Sinclair, in the fey realm a blink dog but in the human realm an ordinary if naive teen, was chosen by the Seelie court. The Unseelie candidate, Wednesday, is a small, intense girl that comes from a family called Addams. A family unknown to the Seelie, and even the Unseelie are unnerved by.

Fey form kept secret, Enid doesn't find out that her new bride is a displacer beast - sworn enemy of blink dogs - until months later when the only way to save her best friend/wife from her stalker is to forcibly drag her to the fey realm. Just when Enid was starting to catch feelings, too.

(In dnd Blink dogs are teleporting lawful good dogs whereas displacer beasts are lawful evil 6 legged panthers with tentacles on their back and can displace light to appear in a different location. Thought it could be a weird twist on golden retriever/black cat)

Wednesday was a patient in a hospital for children with terminal illnesses, and has thus far outlasted every prediction the doctors have set for her eventual end. Every day aove ground is a new record, and she loves to remind them of it.

Too old to remain in her previous hospital but too ill to stay at home, Wednesday is transferred to a new facility where Enid happens to be a researcher. Wednesday refuses to accept being treated with pity, and Enid becomes the only one in the hospital that can handle the macabre woman.

Wednesday's health flucuates infrequently to the point that Enid forgets why she's getting to spend nearly every day hanging out with her bestie at work. When Wednesday takes a dramatic downturn, Enid basically shuts out the whole world outside of her lab to help - she even leaves dinner midproposal when she gets the call. Once Wednesday is on the mend Enid can deal with the repercussions.

Gonna say that I really don't get the kneejerk doodle hate. Are most of them well bred? No, not really (health testing, people. We can do that now). But neither are the vast majority of Golden Retrievers or Labs.

Is it possible to get a healthy doodle? Yeah. I know two of them. They are 12 y/o Cavapoos who belong to a person who wanted traits from both breeds, but not those two dogs. She's happy with what she got. They have fewer health issues at 12 than my Golden Retriever (registered, from solid lines, but still has health problems) and her (registered, from health tested parents) Italian Greyhound. Did she have to train her dogs? Yes. Are they a pain in the ass to groom? Also yes.

But so is my Golden. So was the German Shepherd my aunt had before. My sister has a Shih Tzu/Chihuahua mix that's basically a Shih Tzu with a much shorter coat. Also a nice dog. Did she need to be trained? Yes. Does she have a bit of a PITA coat? Also yes.

I actually wonder how much of the doodle stuff comes from stupid people owning dogs. The same person who has a fat husky with a matted coat and untrimmed nails is going to do the same with a doodle. Their issue right now is that they're a trendy mix and bad breeders are going for quantity over quality.

I will say that I'm not impressed with my purebred, registered Golden. She's allergic to both grain and chicken, along with other issues, and that makes caring for her hard. I can read a pedigree and I got her from a good breeder who has supported me through the struggle with my dog. She's a good dog, but I don't know if I'm going down the purebred route again. It just may not be right for me.

vesper is a train thats controlled by an AI. hes pretty rude and just generally Not Nice but he has his moments. hes basically meant to be the way to change levels/locations/whatever. he was specifically sent by annie to help/protect cecil and prim but he hates it

SAM is short for something but it likes to be called that bc it likes the name. it was invented by alice to help her around her lab but its AI gained sentience one day after an accident. cecil and his friends wind up in alices lab for some reason and something TBD happens that makes SAM go awol and they have to shut him down or something idk

apollo was cecils bestie before he got sent to the surface world. theyre very high energy and kindof like a golden retriever type dude. they Can however get very jealous and they do get that way over jona and cecil being close so they end up being the 3rd to last boss of the game and their fight is supposed to be pretty hard since theyre fast + dude just flashbangs your ass
