Welcome to the world(s) of Chains Across Hyrule!

In the cycle keeping the Hero’s Spirit alive, there are 10 heroes now, each with their own abilities and experiences. From the first of the heroes to the most recent, they all share a name and destiny.

These heroes call each other by their titles, as none seem fit to hold the name when they’re together.

They all now travel together, brought together by ties of blood and spirit.

These are their stories.

Come around the campfire, and meet the cast!

Sky (Skyward Sword): The former leader of the Links, and one who’s a bit distant due to his role as the first Link

Time (Ocarina of Time/Majora’s Mask): The leader of the Links, and one who prefers his privacy. The others know essentially nothing about his personal life.

Wind (Wind Waker/Phantom Hourglass): The best ocean navigator and the most sarcastic one of the bunch.

Wild (Breath of the Wild/Tears of the Kingdom): The resident prankster of the group and the designated chef.

Twilight (Twilight Princess): Eager friend and eager companion — nicknamed “Wolfy” by Wild.

Warriors (Hyrule Warriors): The bodyguard of the group. He’s quiet most of the time.

Legend (A Link to the Past/A Link Between Worlds/Oracle of Seasons/Oracle of Ages/Link’s Awakening): The most experienced and the most insufferable member.

Mind (Destiny of Mind — @loz-destiny-of-mind ): The youngest Link, and a master lie detector.

Four (Minish Cap/Four Swords [Adventure]): The blacksmith and the leader of his other three selves — Blue, Vio and Red.

Spirit (Spirit Tracks): Excellent navigator on land and can speak with ghosts.

Boundary List:

Please do not tag any posts as “Linked Universe”. While Mod holds immense respect for @/linked-universe and while they see the resemblance between LU and CAH, Mod made this au much earlier before they found out about Linked Universe. These characters are separate and have their own lore — and this world has its own lore that’s even detached from the original Legend of Zelda universe! Mod spent a lot of time working out things in this world; please don’t reduce it to “just a copy”.

Hey, this is not about anyone specifically because we have seen it happened to us multiple times already over the span of as long as we're doing NPTs here but...

I would like to ask you that if you do request any NPTs from us that you do not go suddenly to another blog and request the same pack (often with the same specification) from them while we are still working on it.

If it's done AFTER we already have done the request we can understand it - maybe you just didn't like the options we suggested and want a "second opinion" of some sorts - we TOTALLY GET IT AND ARE NOT OFFENDED BY IT

However when it is done while we are still working on the request it feels discouraging? We might add it to our rentry but we are both mentally and physically disabled and also chronically fatigued, while we love doing your requests they often take a lot of spoons to make (especially if we are less familiar with source than we wish we would be, we then have to do extra research or deny it completely if we think we are not able to complete it in a satisfying manner).

That, on top of our blog getting a lot of traction and with that a lot of requests over the last few months, make it so your request can take a longer moment for us to make (since we're always doing requests in the order they came to our inbox)

So I hope you can understand that it feels heavily discouraging when we have a request in our inbox pending and then we see on our dash that someone also got the same request as we did despite us still havent completed it. It feels like we are too slow with our work despite doing our best and that people are tired of it. Makes us actually do the requests even slower due to that terrible feeling.

Again, I will probably add it to our rentry soon but our requests are always open but due to all the factors mentioned above your request might take a longer moment to make depending on fluctuating factors but unless we immediately deny it (which we always do the moment we notice the request - max 2 days but usually quicker) your request WILL BE DONE

TL;DR: Please wait with requesting the same ID Pack on another blog if you request one from us first till it is done, it feels heavilly discouraging to us when you do that before we post your ID pack.

mole: i don't think we have a whole ton in common but i like him as a character and i think he'd be polite enough that i wouldn't have any major beef with him

lammy: i like her quite a bit as a character but something about her just screeeeams ex catholic guilt to me and i think she has some stuff to unpack with a therapist before we could be close friends

flippy: ditto on needing to unpack stuff with a therapist + i honestly find him pretty boring as a character (⁠´⁠-⁠﹏⁠-⁠`⁠；⁠) i wouldn't have any serious problems with him though

fliqpy: surprise i'm acknowledging fliqpy for once!!! in a universe where he's not a terrible caricature of DID/PTSD i think we'd find a good level of respect for each other but not be like. friends. also again with the therapist thing

petunia: quite frankly i think i would stress her out 😅 i'm pretty messy irl so i don't think she would spend much time with me

we wouldn't get along:

splendid: this is so funny because i actually quite enjoy him as a character, but we'd be beefing if i actually met him because he's enemies with the twins. he would be deadset on arresting my boyfriend and i would be hellbent on ruining his life.

disco bear: i also am very fond of him as a character but i just know he would immediately start hitting on me if we met and he wouldn't even be good at it. i would not be into it at all

giggles: this is gonna sound completely off the wall batshit but i really think she would have bullied me in high school that's the vibe i get from her 💀 as an adult i don't think she would be Openly mean to me i definitely don't think she would like me and there's just a vibe that people give off when they find me overly offputting that would drive me away for sure
