In Super Mario World, various glitches allow unintended items to be put into the reserve item box. While this is mostly used during particular categories of speedruns to spawn either the level-ending goal orbs or Lakitu clouds in unintended locations, it is possible to cause any sprite object whatsoever to be placed in the item box.

If the sprite at memory address 7E0DC276 (which is normally used behind the scenes by the game to handle scrolling) is released from the box, the event seen in the footage will occur, whereby the level will start scrolling extremely quickly in a glitched manner, also causing Mario to die as a side effect.
