i think it was dr baking soda who said one stipulation of the rosquez reconciliation would have to be uccio estrangement and like i just cannot picture it… the only time i ever bought into vale ever doubting uccio was in you guys’ fco au when uccio tries to blame the pictures on marc and implies he orchestrated the whole thing and vale is like but i was there i put him on his knees i saw his shocked expression when the camera flashed etc like vale loves uccio and is so dependants on him… it’s difficult to imagine !

marc and vale are truly the most codependent people (alex and uccio, respectively) on earth and i think we don’t discuss how much those relationships and the perceived rejection of their chosen partners would be pretty hard for them lol. i mean we DO but you’re right its hard to reckon with in a reconciliation framework…. GRANTED. i don’t think alex would drop careful somewhat jealous poison in marc’s ear wrt to vale over the course of literal years but. idk vale who clearly values uccio’s opinion and marc who will only not race if alex tells him to. and i think realizing that they can in fact function outside of those relationships WOULD be a necessity for them to exist on a long form sort of commitment to each other. i dunno it’s one of those knots of tension that mean rosquez is the kind of puzzle you can think about literally forever

I’m really enjoying writing Attention like I’ve never written anything like this before and it’s nice getting out something that’s been formulated in my brain. And when I start writing it kind of takes hold and takes little turns that I never even predicted. Also I promise reader is not being purposefully malicious 😂, she’s just really stuck on the both of them and her attention (see that? 😂) is based on who she’s with at the moment.
