Today we woke up to the sounds of huge explosions, because the Israeli occupation ordered the evacuation of our area to which we were displaced two days ago. My family and I miraculously escaped from the bombing and gunfire, knowing that this is the sixth time we have been displaced to another place this month! I don't know why all this is happening to us. I really wish to die. I am very tired and I wish to die so I can rest or I wish to get out of Gaza now. Please, I need your help so that I can leave and travel outside Gaza with my family. Please, I hope that everyone who sees this post will donate whatever they can, even if it is five euros, to help me and my family get out of Gaza as soon as possible.

the things that we've been forced to manage through crowdfunding websites are insane. victims of a genocide are having to market themselves as someone who is worthy of being saved.
living for more than a year under an active genocide while seeing your oppressors cruelty and disregard for your life increase is so horrendous.
every single person in gaza has lost too much. i don't think everyone must have to share their personal loss in order to be deemed as a person worthy of safety. i think we should try to help those we can see asking for it.
i request you to help alaa and her children. she needs to buy supplies and remain safe. her area was bombed very recently. her fundraiser has been verified.
please donate here

What is the fault of this little girl in the picture? She is my daughter Salma, who lacks basic food supplies, and malnutrition is eating away at her small body. What are you waiting for? I ask myself every day: Does Palestine not deserve attention? Donate Here

Two months after October 7, Sarah’s* eleven-year-old daughter Talia* quietly deposited the Star of David she had been given as a baby on her mother’s dressing room table. It was not a casual gesture. The previous week, she had told her mother that she was resigning as a Jew.
...
“After the big march against antisemitism in London in November 2023, I kept a big Israeli flag in our kitchen but it would regularly disappear” says Sarah “When I asked Talia if it was anything to do with her, she confessed and said she didn’t want her best friend, a non-Jewish girl and frequent visitor to our home to see it.”
...
Dalia*, an Israeli and Israel activist in London, knows all about the yelling that often accompanies in this inter-generational rift. “My daughter has screamed that I am a Nazi and I have called her a kapo which I regret but I am horrified by the anti-Israel sentiments that come out of her mouth.” Her 22-year-old daughter works in the arts and Dalia thinks this is part of the problem. “Being anti-Israel is an article of faith in her professional circles and if you are dare to stand up for Israel, you are bullied.”

Today, I went to a charity kitchen (tekkieh) to get some food for my family, and a rocket fell nearby. I could have easily been added to the list of martyrs. We live in tents—no safety, no adequate food, no clean drinking water. We risk our lives just to find a meal, and we die if we don't get one.
Please help us.
Every donation and every share could save our lives.

"Did you know that most Arab countries have abandoned us, left us to face death and hunger alone? They sold the Palestinian cause and turned their backs on our suffering. But you—people of the West—stood with us. You marched, you donated, you raised your voices for us. Without your support, we would have been among the dead. Please, don’t stop now. Keep supporting us, keep donating, keep standing with us—so we can survive this war and reach a better life."

50 days The border crossings are closed for 50 days, and no humanitarian aid has entered Gaza. 50 days of siege imposed from all directions and Israel's return to the war of genocide
Yesterday, the planes bombed a charity kitchen that provided food to the displaced, killing innocent people who were innocent for the sake of a living. I'm afraid to go get food and not come back, but I have to because there is no shelter or food
Please share and donate if you can, I need kind hearts Thank you for your kind heart and wonderful feelings.

There is no 'normal' left in Gaza — only loss, hunger, and the will to live
Homes are gone. Entire neighborhoods erased from the map. Families torn apart, and memories buried beneath shattered walls.
There’s no food on the table. No clean water. No safe place to sleep. The basics of life — things the world takes for granted — are dreams for Gaza now.
People aren’t living here... They’re surviving. Barely. With empty stomachs, sleepless nights, and hearts full of fear
I believe that you want us to live our life normally but it's not in our hands
We depend on you, on your generosity that you are never gonna leave us alone
We are waiting for your support and donations here

Hossam Al-Qazzaz and his family were finally able to move into their newly rebuilt tent... And now, it looks likely they will be displaced yet again.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Images: Hossam Al-Quzzaz rebuilt his family's tent after it was destroyed in an airstrike on the night of March 17/18, 2025.

In the early hours of March 17/18, 2025, the ceasefire in Gaza collapsed. Airstrikes lit up the dark night, killing over 400 people.
Sleeping in their tent in the Khan Kunis displacement camp, the Al-Quzzaz family had a nightmarish awakening: their tent collapsing on top of them, their belongings catching fire from the blast.
Hossam, his wife Hanan, and their four children—Bashar (9), Hani (8), Diana (4), and 4-month-old Habiba—managed to scramble out of the wreckage.
Video: Clip from a ten minute Al-Jazeera video, featuring Hossam, as he recounts the night his family's tent was destroyed in an airstrike.
Original Video: [LINK]
"Miraculously, we survived," Hossam wrote to us the next morning, assuring us he and his family were unharmed. The tent, however, was completely destroyed.
“By the grace of the Creator, we were not physically harmed, but we are psychologically and morally broken,” Hossam wrote in the March 19th update on the family's GoFundMe page. “... our hearts are still trembling until now, because we have lost everything. Our tent was completely destroyed, just as our house was destroyed before, and we are now homeless, without food, without clothes, without money…”
The devastating blow was softened a little by the kindness of others; thanks to everyone who donated to the Chuffed campaign our founder, Bethany Grace, created to help the family rebuild, we were able to send the Al-Qazzaz family $788 (€697.48 after conversion)—enough to start constructing another shelter out of sturdy materials.
Hossam, skilled in construction, has been hard at work for the past few weeks, clearing out the debris and reconstructing the family's shelter with materials he was able to obtain.
Every day, Hossam toiled to rebuild his family's shelter. And every long night, the family could barely sleep as brutal airstrikes continued to light up the night.
“The sounds of bombings are everywhere,” Hossam wrote to us one evening. “And the planes fly at a close distance. And fires everywhere.”
A few days ago, the family was able to move back into their shelter together.
But today, Hossam sent us a message that made our blood run cold:
“The tanks are approaching and are almost a kilometer* or a little more away. If [they] come any closer, we'll get out of there because we'll be within range of [their] fire.”
*Kilometer = 0.62 miles
Tumblr media
This precious family, already displaced multiple times for over a year, now might be displaced again, under threat of fire. With no stable income and essential supplies priced beyond reach, the Al-Qazzaz family is fighting a daily battle just to keep their children warm, fed, and safe.
The Al-Qazzaz family is one of countless in Gaza enduring wave after wave of trauma, displacement, and loss. And yet, through it all, they have held onto their dignity, their love for each other, and their will to survive. The support of the online mutual aid community has been a lifeline for them—allowing them to feed their children, find temporary shelter, and begin again each time everything is taken from them.
If you are moved by their story and wish to help, the family has a GoFundMe campaign that directly supports their daily essentials—food, medicine, and immediate needs. Every donation, no matter the size, helps them meet the most basic requirements to keep going in impossible circumstances.
Additionally, a Chuffed campaign, organized by the founder of Gaza Giving Tree, is helping to raise funds specifically to aid the family in either rebuilding yet again or evacuating to safety if that becomes possible. This effort is aimed at long-term stability and survival—a future where the children can sleep without fear.
Please consider contributing to one or both campaigns. Your generosity can be the reason this family has a chance at life beyond war and rubble.
The Al-Qazzaz family's campaign has been vetted by @gazavetters and is (#287) on their list of verified campaigns.

Children in Gaza are losing their limbs every day—just like the little girl in this heartbreaking photo. The war has stolen their futures, their mobility, and their right to live in peace. My own son, Qais, is just two years old. He was injured in an airstrike, and I cannot afford the medical treatment he desperately needs. As a mother with no income, I beg you—please Donate and help us. Your donation could be the reason Qais walks again.
This is the terrifying reality for many children in Gaza:
1. Airstrikes often target residential areas, leaving children with life-altering injuries.
2. Hospitals lack medicine and equipment, and most families cannot afford private care.
3. Children like Qais are at risk of permanent disability, even death, without timely treatment.
I watch my child cry in pain every night, and I can do nothing but hold him. No mother should face this. We need your support now more than ever. Every donation—no matter the amount—can help save Qais’s , his future, and his life. Please, don’t look away. Help us heal.

If this comic made you smile, please help us!!
We are a family of ten trying to survive in northern Gaza. Our landlord keeps increasing our rent, and we will be at the mercy of the drones and the tanks if we have to leave, on top of having to leave behind all of our belongings. Every kind of food at the market now costs a fortune and there are no jobs available due to the dangerous situation outside, so we have to fully rely on this campaign.
My sister Soso is only four years old, what kind of life is this for her? My mother and I have been sick and thankfully we finally got the help of a doctor, but that means we had to pay for the medicine as well. In the midst of this, I’m also trying to complete my engineering degree, but it’s difficult with money worries on my mind.
Please help, I swear I’ll be thankful for anything. Share at least if you can’t afford to donate.

This is the story of my four-year-old sister soso whose only crime is to be born in northern Gaza. I hope it will touch you, because I don’t know what to say anymore. I don’t know what to share about our situation anymore.
Tumblr media
I have lowered my campaign goal because I have lost hope. I wanted to complete it before March when a new semester will begin so I could register for university again and focus on nothing but my studies. I wanted to rebuild our home so we would avoid the years and years of displacement we went through last time it was destroyed. Maybe I dreamed too big. Maybe my life isn’t meant to be rebuilt.
Can we please achieve that at least? I won’t have a home, it’s okay. I’ll study in a tent, but at least I’ll be able to somewhat focus if our needs are met.
Please, I’m not angry if you can’t donate. I understand. But please at least share, it helps a lot too.
