Forgiveness

Just because you forgave someone doesn’t mean that you have to be around them. It doesn’t mean you ever have to talk to them. It also means you don’t have to tell the person that has hurt you that you forgive them. Always remember..forgiving someone isn’t for the person that hurt you, it’s for you. So you can be free and not allow all your hurt and pain to hinder you in any way, Healing is a process, don’t rush your healing. And if you can’t forgive, that’s okay too.

Some people don’t care about something unless it happens to them or someone they love and care about. Why is that? I was a victim of childhood sexual abuse and I could feel how people treated me differently. I was young but it’s a feeling no one want to experience. Why do people blame the victims for being sexually abused? Why do people get mad once the abuser goes to jail/prison? They deserve to be locked up!! Why do “we” give things the attention once it’s on the news or the trending topic? We have to do better as a whole. Sexual abuse and any abuse needs to stop. Let’s not talk about it. Do something about it. Bring awareness. Something!!

“Stand for something or you will fall for anything”. I’m pretty sure we all have heard that saying before. Before I started my YouTube I was honestly scared as crap lol. I was thinking so many negative thoughts. “What if people say bad things about me, what if people will judge me, ask me why I’m doing this”, those are some of the thoughts I had. I thought a lot of people will be just negative towards me and what I was standing for. Who makes a YouTube and talks about sexual abuse? Me!! And I’m proud of myself. I’ve always been shy in school and around people I didn’t know. But I can get in front of a camera and talk about what I’ve been through, my struggles, and share other people’s stories about their abuse. My goal is to encourage, inspire, and uplift whoever I can.
