Cheers to New Beginnings: Wishing You a Year of Joy, Growth, and Success!
As the holiday season unfolds I wanted to take a moment to send you my heartfelt wishes for a holiday filled with hope, joy, and inspiration.
In the midst of the festive cheer, it's important to acknowledge that this time of year can also bring about a range of emotions. If you find yourself navigating through a dark place, remember that you are not alone. Like the brightest stars against the midnight sky, the beauty of the human spirit often shines the most in challenging times.
Christmas is a season of reflection, a time to recognise the strength within yourself and those around you. Embrace the power of resilience and the courage to face whatever challenges come your way. Just as winter leads to the promise of spring, your journey through difficult moments can pave the way for a brighter future.
If you ever feel overwhelmed, reach out to those who care about you. Whether it's a friend, family member, or a professional, sharing your thoughts and feelings can be a beacon of light in the darkest moments. Remember, seeking help is not a sign of weakness but a testament to your strength and commitment to your well-being.
As you celebrate this Christmas, may you find peace in the present, inspiration for the future, and the support you need to navigate any storms. Cherish the moments of connection, savour the beauty around you, and let the spirit of the season fill your heart with warmth.
May the coming year be a chapter of renewal, growth, and positive change. Here's to a new year filled with love, understanding, and the unwavering belief that, even in the darkest of nights, a new dawn awaits.
Wishing you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all!

Beets, The Unbeetables🤓👊
🌱Beets are a member of the chenopod family. Its relatives are (Swiss) chard, spinach, and quinoa
🌱Beets and it's greens are packed with nutrients like iron, manganese, copper, potassium, folate, vitamin A and K, and magnesium
🌱The presence of calcium, betaine, B vitamins, iron, and antioxidants keeps beets amongst the best liver foods. Beets also thin the bile, allowing it to easily flow through the liver and small intestine – this further enhances liver health.
🌱The betalin compound found in beets, which gives them their red color, helps to capture troublesome toxins and flush them out of the system via the urinary tract.. The fiber in beets clears the toxins that have been removed from the liver – making sure they dont re-enter the body. Making it a great hangover cure!
🌱Ancient Greeks used beets to treat a wide range of ailments, such as headaches, constipation, toothaches, wounds, and skin problems. In fact, beets were so highly regarded that they were often used as an offering to the god Apollo- Cool right!
REMEMBER☝️- The entire beet is edible, from the top of the greens to the bottom of the root.

Good Morning world 🌍🌤🍃 • • “A meaningful life is close to, but at points importantly different from, a happy life” • • “ A meaningful life is bound up with the long-term. Projects, relationships, interests and commitments will build up cumulatively. Meaningful activities leave something behind, even when the emotions that once propelled us into them have passed.” When you wake up in the morning what gives you the drives to reach your goals & dreams? • • • #dreams #goals #dreamer #behappy #healing #notetoself #quotes #quotestoliveby #books #educateyourself #knowledgeispower #supernalhealth #goodmorning #smallsteps #peptalk #risengrind #WLYG https://www.instagram.com/p/BrCo9fGjOID/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=stol5vsajm27

Consider these words by Don Miguel Ruiz 🌈🌦 “What you are seeing and hearing right now is nothing but a dream. You are dreaming right now in this moment. You are dreaming with the brain awake. Dreaming is the main function of the mind, and the mind dreams twenty-four hours a day. It dreams when the brain is awake, and it also dreams when the brain is asleep. The difference is that when the brain is awake, there is a material frame that makes us perceive things in a linear way. When we go to sleep we do not have the frame, and the dream has the tendency to change constantly. Humans are dreaming all the time.” • • • #quote #mindfulthinking #itsalljustadream #dreams #dreaming #dreamer #dreambig #makebelieve #illusion #bookquite https://www.instagram.com/p/Bq7lzeegyFT/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1q37jgwhavw66

Practice living every moment of your daily life deeply and in freedom. If that’s what you really want, then what you need to do is let go of pursuing the past, the future, and all your worries, and come back to the present moment.

Let me tell you, I know all about a bloody rough day, usually I turn my phone off, lock myself away from the world and just generally don’t want to do anything. Do I still have this days, absolutely. People piss me off, I don’t feel all that great and I generally just hate everything. But years of going through this I am still in the very grueling process of learning to deal with it.
Here are some tips that I find help me and that may be of use to you when its one of those days!
First things first, get moving. If you are like me when having an episode, I confine myself to my room and never want to leave, not wanting to get up, or ever call in sick for work (totally done this multiple times). Why is this a terrible idea? Well you are left sitting there with your own thought, over analyzing, making scenarios up that may never happen etc You need to get some other form of stimulation. Even if its as small as just getting up and cleaning, or taking a shower & getting dressed, working out, or going for a walk. Just leave get up and get moving. If you find yourself not changing mindset, do something else. Just keep busy.
I have a hard time trusting anyone, but you have to find a sanity buddy, whether that be a family member, friend, co-worker, doctor, partner, or Susan down the street, someone that you can turn to in a time of a depressive state. There are many reasons for this. Firstly it give you someone to talk to and be completely open with, without feeling like you are being judged. If you have at least one person to turn to when you need and want to, that’s good enough. Let them know that you’re not yourself. Educate them a little on the goings-on of depression and they’ll better understand when you either need space or checking up on, a shoulder to cry on or someone to rip you out of your shell for a short time. It’s also holds you accountable, it holds you accountable from doing anything destructive, and can help change your mindset.  Honestly that one person can flip your mood around, give you tips from a different perspective, or even just come chill with you.
Do something you love. whether that be as small as drinking your favourite latte, walking to your favourite park, pampering yourself, buying yourself a new outfit. Whatever if may be just do it.
Keep a journal. Freely write, doesnt have to make any sense, youre the only one who is going to see it. It gets your thoughts and emotions out in the open, and writing can be very theraputic! It’s also great to keep track of patterns. Is there a certain person or situation that brings forth the episode. Did you sleep enough? what did you eat that day etc All these have an effect. Also if youre not a big writing, maybe try drawing or painting. Being creative has theraptuic effects as it keeps the mind stimulated and can help you express emotions.
Breathe. Do you know how mad I use to get when people would say this? Almost as annoying as someone saying “Just stay positive” But over the years I have learnt this helps tremendously. Breathe in deep, right from the diaphragm and exhale, even let out a loud sign. This helps regulate your heartbeat bringing it down to a nice steady pace. Stretch as well if you need to. Just take the time to clear your head and deal with the present moment.
Hold yourself accountable. Be true to yourself, and know when you aren’t doing anything to help yourself get out of the mindset. Be patient but persistent!
