When people tell me I should read more and I have to hold back the fact to tell them I read fanfiction till 7 am and they probably have read less in a year than I have in a week.

Why do I actually love that Ao3 doesn't allow you to follow people? You can subscribe to them to watch for new content but that's it. The way I judge is how many chapters it has, if it's finished, sometimes the reads though that can stray you from a good book if you focus on it too much, and in all the description. I don't really focus on how popular someone is, and I think it's better that way. Makes you not focused on it as much as a writer as well.

Teen Skk Headcannon

Picture this:

Dazai was drenched. Every step he took would cause water to splash back up onto the bottom of his pants. It was a dark day outside, clouds thickly coating the night sky as the rain poured down.

Dazai had just gotten back from a small and easy mission, just dealing with some things that underlings couldn't figure out. He didn't exactly want to go, but Mori had sent him anyway.

He didn't want to call for help to seek shelter from the rain, but what other choice did he have? It was pouring and he was about three miles away from the Port Mafia headquarters. He would've rode back with some other underlings, but none of them were going back to headquarters. They were all going back home to their families.

Against his better judgement, he called Mori. He told him that he needed to a ride back and the boss was happy to send someone out.

So he waited.

He waited in the pouring rain, sitting down in the middle of the sidewalk by himself with his knees pressed up to his chest. He didn't even have his PSP to pass the time as he had left it at home, so he just watched the cars pass by, waiting for his.

Finally after what felt like forever, he heard an obnoxiously loud engine coming his way. Looking in the direction from where the sound was coming from, he saw none other than Chuuya's stupid bright red bike.

Great.

Here he was looking like a drenched puppy with his hair was soaked an in his face along with his bandages messy and to add onto it, he was exhausted. Of course it had to be Chuuya to pick him up.

The red head had looked slightly annoyed as he pulled up next to Dazai on the sidewalk, staring at him quietly for a moment before saying, "Get on."

Dazai just stared at him, causing Chuuya's frustration to grow. "Are to deaf or something?" He growled, his grip tightening on the handles to his bike. "Get on."

The soaked boy scoffed, standing up from the ground and purposefully talking short steps to piss of Chuuya on purpose as he stepped over towards the bike, and it seemed to be quite effective.

He then just stood there, not saying at word as he stared.

Chuuya dealt with it for no more then a couple seconds before speaking up once again, "I don't have all day."

Dazai shot him a looked, scoffing under his breath as he mumbled something quietly, so quiet that Chuuya couldn't hear anything.

"Eh?" The shorter quirked a brow, "What'cha say?"

Dazai shifted uncomfortably, mumbling again, this time a bit louder than before. "Never.... bike.... don't know...."

When he looked back up, Chuuya was staring at him like he was an idiot.

"For fucks sake, speak up!" He snapped, causing Dazai to huff and cross his arms. He looked away, speaking just loud enough to hear this time, "I don't know where or how to sit. I've never ridden a bike before."

Chuuya was dumbfounded for a moment. Seriously? He didn't know one thing that Dazai didn't know how to do and yet he didn't know how to ride a motorbike? He was almost amused. Though something about Dazai's expression, how his brows had been furrowed when Chuuya pulled up on the bike and how he looked at the vehicle warily.

He sighed. "Sit behind me with your legs on either side, not that hard."

Dazai stilled for a moment before he shuffled over towards the bike, sliding onto it behind Chuuya and just sitting there quietly.

There seemed to be a silent sense of tension between the two, though it broke the moment Dazai sneezed.

Chuuya blinked just before a smile cracked on his face. "You look like a damn mutt out here in the rain."

Dazai perked up right away. "Chuuya is such a hypocrite since he looks like a dog all the time."

Neither of them were going to speak about how Dazai was clearly terrified to get onto that bike. They didn't need to. Chuuya bickered with him the whole way back and Dazai didn't even notice when they arrived. He didn't notice that Chuuya had purposefully taken his attention off of the situation.

I think the best part about being a fanfiction writer is that you get appreciation for every single chapter. People get to comment and talk each chapter about their favorite parts and how excited they are for the next.

When you're a novel writer, you don't entirely get to show off your hard work for each individual chapter. Sure people will post stuff about the parts they like and such, but it's a different type of feeling to work for days on a single chapter and get to post that little piece and have people appreciate it.

It makes you more grateful as a reader too that you only get another chapter every so often and you don't even know when it'll come.

When you posted a fanfiction that you were super excited to make a month or two ago but now you how no motivation to continue it even though it already has a decent amount of reads and you don't wanna stop writing it cause you know there is that one person that looks forward to every new chapter cause this is their dream book and you continue writing even though the more you write the cringier you realize the story is and then you're just drowning in a puddle of your own sadness.

It’s the principle that held Tommy’s back straight and his shoulders broad through the years of hardships and trials of errors; through yet another formal meeting where his father’s gaze would look past him and where his brother’s words would be filled with poison that makes the deepest parts of his soul ache. At that time, Tommy couldn't know that his family would find a replacement for him in the face of a commoner boy named Ranboo. Tommy's family has replaced him. It's only fair that he gets to do the same.

After a hectic day of getting separated from Tubbo, getting into a few fights, and ending up in an entirely new town, he comes across Phil, and saves him from an assassination attempt by smashing a plate over someone's head. So then both Techno and Wilbur decide to see who this kid is, and Tommy sure is endearing, in the way that the first time they spy on him, he starts a fight in an alleyway over a bag of cookies.

If they find him, Tommy will have no clue what to expect, because the Syndicate might know him, but he has no memories of them. So he can't let them find him. No matter what. Of course they end up finding him anyway.

OR Tommy wakes up in a world where the new video game everyone is talking about is *very* real. That includes the three main villains, heads of an organization called ‘The Syndicate’. But it’s totally fine! He just has to make sure he never meets them – he’s got a feeling they won’t be pleased about another crow hybrid in an otherwise hybrid-less world.

Tommy has never been one to get too close to the surface. He's been above it a few times just for a couple of seconds, but he never saw anything interesting. Though after he started to keep an eye on the surface more, he'd sometimes spot a large shadow trail past him. It would usually drop down ropes weaved together that would pick up fish and bring them back up to the surface. He had to admit that he grew jealous with how easily it picked up a hundred fish and had tried to craft his own out of seaweed. It didn't work. He supposed it wasn't that much of a loss. After all, siren claws were sharper than mermaids, he could hunt better than Niki anyway, he didn't need a fish catching contraption. Though when he told the girl about his discoveries, she quickly forbade him from ever nearing the shadows again, especially the weaved ropes they dropped into the water. Fine. Another popular one is called 'passerine' but I personally am too much of a wimp to read it cause it's full of angst and will for sure make me depressed. Yandere Trope

The yandere trope is actually an amazing book/movie/whatever trope, people just focus it on the part that the yandere is obsessed with their love. Think about it. A yandere is someone who is so hopelessly devoted and in love with someone that they would do anything to be with them. I'm gonna break this down piece by piece. A yandere doesn't usually always start off with being bland or emotionless, in fact, most yandere trope I've seen they are quite the kind and helpful person. Though the moment the find someone who does a certain thing, it's like flipping a switch. They have two completely different sides. They don't show it though. The are incredibly skilled at masking emotions and hiding their feelings. The moment the reveal themselves to someone it's usually just because they are tired of pretending, they snapped from waiting for their love to like them back, or they're just tired. It's emotionally very draining to be in love, though when you take that simple love and enhance it, it's even more tiring. Some yanderes in tropes truly believe they're the only one for their love. There is no other person fit for them and if they fall in love with anyone else their brain quickly starts to make up excuses to cover up for their love's feelings. Cause their love could never do anything wrong like fall in love with the wrong person right? They must be getting manipulated! Though there is another kind where the yandere is just desperate. They could be mentally unstable otherwise would not seeing themselves as good enough and needing to prove themselves to their love. And of course, the best way to prove they're needed is to either manipulate them into thinking that they are truly a kind person, slowly proving to their love that they're the only one that ever stays with them. Though since they can't just make people vanish, they start with minor methods. Rumors, gossiping, setting up an embarrassing situation for their love in front of everyone, even going so far to mess with one of their love's friends family to get them to leave the area. Though I think it's too much with how often time they make the yandere kidnap or murder other people right away. Most people, even when insane, if they have a certain goal in mind they don't just start killing off. They slowly slip themselves into the persons mind without force, making the person themself let them in willingly.

I do get why people tend to focus the trope of females since they can get a bit more.... excessive about knowing everything about who they like more then males tend to do, though it could easily be a trope for both genders if you write it the right way.

Focus on the personality.

Shy and kind? Most likely would start off with a simple approach or have someone else, maybe a friend do it for them. Most yandere feelings don't start off until they've faced some sort of defiance. I'm not talking about rejection or getting with another person, it could be as simple as doesn't look back at the yandere when they look, talks to someone else when they're clearly open to talk(usually could be used with a yandere who already has a close relationship with their love)

Though a certain kind of yandere I think people tend to forget is a platonic yandere. No romantic feelings for the person of their affection whatsoever. Simply they just feel most attached to that certain person or feel a need for them.

Take the song Aishite Aishite Aishite(or Love me, love me, love me) for example. It's a great show of a platonic version of that type of personality. A child so needing of love that they are begging for it from either a certain person or multiple. They are so immersed in the idea of being loved and cared for.

Now this next one is big.

NOT ALL YANDERES ARE INSANE!!!

Yes, yes, I know. 'But their obsession is insane and their not mentally ok!' Exactly. They're just not exactly mentally stable. Don't get me wrong, some yanderes are completely off their rockers, but others are just so full of the idea that the have put most of their focus on the idea of being loved or loving someone so much themselves. Any type of yandere you're thinking of is better to understand when you use the words unhealthy obsession, attached, and needs to feel needed, instead of killer, psycho, or insane.
