The Stars.
Armed with tenebrosity,
Eyes squeezed tightly shut from lustre.
Maybe ignorance of the constellations
is bliss in its own rite.
~
But one day, he came into light.
Held her wrists,
pushed her into a nose-dive flight,
spiralling through a haze,
the moon and stars set her heart ablaze.
This luminescent reverie,
darkness was now a past memory.
~
Free-falling,
through a smothering galaxy.
A wing-snipped raven,
reached out for his hand.
Little did she know,
his feet never left the ground,
his arms were never around,
he was gone faster than she could whisper a sound.
A wing-snipped raven,
she squinted for the flicker.
Little did she know,
the stygian river burned,
the midnight sky desolate,
and her stars already stopped shining today.

I hope she is breathing now
I have been holding my breath.
Since the last time my heart was pressed
Against yours.
I have been holding my breath
Waiting.
For you to lead me up the stairway
of a happily ever after
I have been holding my breath
but
You took her hand
Made her yours
I have been holding my breath
but I am now the missing sock under your couch.
The yesterday,
no one seems to care about
I have been holding my breath
But at least,
i hope,
maybe.
(If not, then she isn’t worthy.)
She also feels this way about you
I hope
she is finally breathing now.

2015
The clock begins it's 731st tick Bleached parchment unfolds Minutes fraudulent at what we have left My heart skips along with each tick, Hoping to catch up with your scurry Perplexity creases on your forehead Desperation traces my lips Clenching down on the creased blue blouse Let's make this last

Crumble
Brick-by-brick, I built a fort around my already pulverized heart, Hoping to enclose the most Diminutive piece of it left. Brick-by-brick You tear the walls of my emotions down, ruthlessly yet gently. That I didn't know it broke some bones, killed some soul, tore some nerves I was using to keep myself sane. Brick-by-brick I prayed for renewal, Recovery and to rebuilt the gates around what was left of me. Brick-by-brick You ripped open, the old but hastily stitched wounds. You carved deeper the scars that ran along the narrow pulse that held me together. You brought me back to despair Brick-by-brick. Could you leave me to crumble Leave, please?

Me
Look this way,
past the boulders that hinders
your trespass into the silky drapes.
Lost collarbones.
Look this way,
sing me profanities
with perfect harmony.
Lost collarbones.
Look this way,
through the hilltop of imperfections
that thread into my deepest cord.
Lost collarbones.
Look this way,
where
i lost my collarbones.

Don't be my valentine
Boxed up Ferrero rocher,
stalk of crimson rose.
Arrows staked into my
hastened heart.
Is this all that my love,
is worth?

Murderer
Turn away
from my desperation of flailing arms,
wanting to wrap themselves
around your affection.
But, empty-handed.
Snub.
Smugly pulling at my
ramshackled anticipation.
Already thorned
by derelict hopes that
disappoint time and time again.
Leading me by my nose,
leaving me in centre of mistaken
weeds.
Weeds that kill
tender daffodils.
Wilted and unmellowed.
But the feet of detest
leaves it
bleeding for you.

Just A dream
Arms around me,
Warm like the toasty bread
on a white morning.
I like toasty breads,
in fact i love them.
Clinging onto your sugarcube affection,
Felicity.
Only to be trampled on
by the rising,
sinister,
sun.
The end.

Just another Poem
You thought
I was going to write
of words
threaded by beauty and emotions.
But why does it
always have to be beautiful?

The wrong kind of Love
Words sharpened to a point
with the intentions to invade the unguarded.
And left me,
left me locked to your intoxicating shiv.
Wounded but at bliss;
Dumped the idea of beatitude.
This is my euphoria
My impotence curled around your fingertips,
You laugh, I'm already broken.
But I ask.
For more.

My Mother
An Amorous embrace,
around the inconversant.
Penning the Prologue
with knitted genial.
Whispers of endearment,
that drew the best curves.
Smiles.
Dressed entirely,
with the heart,
of my mother.
Dedicated to my mum who's celebrating her birthday today :)

A poem for a friend
(dedicated to a very close friend)
Affixed hopes,
on the bulletin.
Provoking on the
Green, effete soul.
Shot down by yours truly.
But you are blessed,
with the everlasting bulwark.

Stop.
contract that diaphragm.
Move your cutting-edge gaze
from the rear-view mirror,
and fixate on the streaks of navigation.
For a wrong turn,
is already one too many.

Home.
Words laced with
a caramelised bloody battle.
decorticating the dainty integument
of the ripe, succulent fidelity.
The first crack
on the frosty smiles
that held on for too long.
Meadering down the highway,
hold her while you still can.

Listen,
to the whispers
of the enchanting breeze.
That speaks of the veracity,
in the scribes we once penned.
But the sonority of the windchimes are
Soulless.

50 shades of red
Feathers of absolute innocence,
Shielding the broken hearted.
Bandaids,
Mending the shards,
while bleeding
With everlasting compassion.
Displaced jigsaws,
realligned.
Crimson lacerations,
to Lustful reliance.
