I follows tags because I have an interest in the actually tag. Whether it be for pictures of pretty people, cool art, fanfics, headcanons, or just shitposts doesn't matter. What I don't follow tags for is people complaining and getting on their high horse about some world events being more important than others. Margot Robbie and Greta Gerwig didn't get nominated for an Oscar. Okay that happened. So what? I'm a little sad about it but I'm not going to go yell about it on the internet. Can't take it back (probably I'm not entirely sure about that). The Israel-Hamas war is really really bad (I know that's an understatement) and Palestine should be freed. That's a common and reasonable statement. I agree that Palestine should be freed and the war should end. However I'm not interested in being preachy about it. I'm a more passive person. I am definitely not going to compare the two. I think they should be separate issues. I think people shouldn't be comparing two pretty damn unrelated issues. I want to have fun in the fandoms I'm in here and that's it. No more.
