Learning about new… certain technological developments is freaking me the fuck out. I don’t wanna say what it is too much because I don’t know if I’ll get recommended stuff by Tumblr involving it. It especially scares me since I wanna start animating more but I’ve been in a terrible demotivated state for years. I wish my brain would just let me enjoy any of my passions or let me have some modicum of energy. Hopefully I’ll have something made at some point. I just want life to feel like something worth investing energy in.

Happy Pride to these two beautiful souls who are unequivocally in love.

For context, they were all doing karaoke the night before and a lot of the characters were hungover.

Being queer, seeing all these gay moments from Bunsen and Beaker makes me very happy. Especially since I grew up with the Muppets. Plus Beaker (and Scooter, Statler, Janice and Sweetums) was originally performed by a gay man.

I don’t know if this is an autistic thing but it feels like it very well could be and I wanna see if anyone else relates.

Does anybody else involuntary mimic the facial expressions, body language and breathing patterns of whoever they’re imagining?

For me I can easily even cry if I imagine someone crying. Not even out of getting emotional myself, just out of of unintentional mimicry. I wanna see if anyone else does this.

Hello, everyone. Just so you know, this isn’t really my main blog, despite it being the primary blog on my account. My main focus is art and my other blog is where you’ll find that. I’ll still use this blog for mostly text posts. Whether that’s about things I’m interested in or passionate about or if it’s writings related to my projects that I feel I’d rather put somewhere else. So follow me at scoop-lookatpinpeopleneedhelp (there’s a bunch of donation links pinned) if you wanna see my creative side beyond just rambling about stuff mostly unrelated to my projects in a direct sense. The drawings are often strange and potentially off putting so it’s not for everyone which is fine, but if you’re into strange looking artwork, by all means welcome aboard!

Below are some drawings I’ve made so you can see the kind of stuff I do. I also love pixel art and hope to do games, 3D art, music and writing in the future.

Hey guys, I know I’ve been gone for a while so here’s an update:

I totaled my car! Yeah, that blows. Had to miss a lot of work because of that.

Super fun.

Unfortunately, as the sole provider of two disabled adults (my parents), I can’t be missing work for that long, because my bank account is in the negative now.

So what I have to do now is open up donations.

Don’t feel obligated to give, especially if you’re in a bad place yourself. Only donate what you can. I know times are hard right now.

HELP US ESCAPE!

Hello! It's me again. I know we keep asking for help, and I know this is a lofty goal. This goal, however, if achieved, will set us up for financial stability, for safety, for mental and emotional health, etc. This is our only hope now.

Kippers and I need to get out of KY. We are moving to Colorado. A thousand and some miles away from that which keeps us pinned down and suffocating. We are currently living in a bad situation. My sister is abusive toward us, and my mom. When she is home, we are not allowed to make *any* noise. We cannot speak above a whisper. We can't use the microwave, washer, dryer, or anything that makes noise. If we do, she yells, she screams, she insults us, she threatens us, slams doors, throws things, etc.

Please. We are incredibly stifled here. The two of us are both autistic, and trans. Two things that she does not "believe in" and readily spews vitriol at us for, saying transphobic and ableist shit at us daily.

We are both artists, but this situation makes it to where we can't even express ourselves through our art; we are too pushed down, the creative spark is dead.

We have a cat, Waldo, who needs to come with us if we can afford it. He can't stay here with her. She has already hit him once. She *will* do it again, I'm sure of it.

We have tried for years to work things out. We have tried getting her to leave. We have tried -everything- . There is no other resolution but this. We need to get as far away as we can, lest she try to follow. We need to be in our own home, away from everyone here.

Please help us.

We are both working. I'm about to have a second job. We still can't make it out by May with that. We *need* your help to get out. We need deposits, car repair, a pack rat, moving funds, etc.

What this covers, in detail, will be under the cut:

This is the board lists everything that we need, with the approximate and average prices of what is needed.

• First/Last month's rent and deposits: $3,600 - We avg'd the area, and found the average rent to be around $1,200/month, with deposits equalling one month of rent.

• Other deposits: ~$830 - We are including the pet deposit of 500$ in this, plus water, sewer, trash, electric and internet deposits.

• Travel Costs: ~$1000 - We considered gas, incidentals, food, lodging for the middle of this 19hr drive, etc.

• Car Repair: $1500 - My honda needs new brakes, a/c evac and recharge, transmission and coolant flushes, oil change, fuel filter, and needs the charging port fixed (for gps charging).

Paying off current rent: $2275 - We still owe the landlord this from when I had cancer.

This is what we're trying to get help raising. We cant do this on our own in this amount of time. Please share this if you can. And thank you so much to everyone who has shared and helped thus far.

EDIT: GFM is giving me grief because this is going to someone in Gaza. I am trying to sort it out, but if the worst-case scenario happens and they shut it down, I’ll have to refund everyone. EDIT 12/24: the fundraiser hit its goal! But the funds are still in limbo. EDIT 12/29: the good news is that GFM reached out to Ahmed directly, received his documentation, etc and it looks like they’re moving forward with lifting the hold on the account, hopefully. The bad news is that the cost of the permits has gone up in the time that this has taken. It’s $7500 per person now. I’ve adjusted the goal and re-opened donations accordingly.
