There are so many games I would love to be able to play and that I really enjoy. The problem is though that most of these games aren’t designed to be single player games and that I don’t have anyone to play with. I’ve tried and played many of these games and thoroughly enjoyed them, but when played single player they feel quite lacking. Like you can tell you are on the verge of something amazing and genuinely enjoyable, something that you can actually look forward to, but it’s just out of reach and the moment you try to get closer the farther you sink into the abyss.

There are more than two sides to every coin, there is also the thin rounded side that separates the two. This third side doesn’t necessarily belong to heads or tails, but instead encompasses a general neutral ground between the two, and is practically always overlooked as an option when choosing heads or tails. In addition to this, whenever said coin is dropped, it is typically the third, commonly overlooked side that takes the brunt of the fall.

I know this may seem like gibberish, but think of the coin as a war or any other conflict or disagreement. Typically you are forced to chose heads or tails. The belief of there only being two sides to a disagreement (black or white, good or bad, right or wrong) is so heavily rooted in our society, you almost never get the opportunity to stay neutral. And whenever a war/conflict breaks out (e.g. the coin being dropped) it is typically the ignored neutral side that takes the brunt of the impact.

There are some people who’s eyes you can never look into, not because you are scared of them, not because you are nervous, not even because they are too strong willed, but because they are so beautiful and captivating that you won’t be able to look away.

Truthfully, one of the worst parts about growing up is when you have a friend that you used to talk to and be really close to. Like you used to talk with them about everything that happened. And as you both get older you don’t necessarily drift apart, but you don’t really talk about your day like you used to.

And the what really sucks is that you don’t know whether it’s just that you all are getting older, if the world just isn’t that interesting anymore, if you both are just starting to get more busy, or what the reason may be.

That’s not even the worst part. The worst part is that you want things to go back to how they used to be. You want to talk to them about it, see why this is happening, and fix it. But you can’t. You can’t talk to them about it because your afraid. Afraid of what the reason might be. Afraid that asking them and finding out could end up tearing you apart.

So you just have to sit there, and watch, as you and this person slowly start to drift further and further apart. Not knowing whether or not your relationship will survive. Not knowing if you will end up loosing one of the few people you actually care about. Not knowing if you will end up all alone in this world again. But you can’t do anything about it but watch and pray for the best.

It just really sucks, you know?
