A hot take on Simon & Garfunkel
I used to think the lyrics to Mrs. Robinson were: “Heaven holds a place for hoes who pray” and I was very confused, but now actually knowing the lyrics to the song it kinda fits the aesthetic—

hi friends so i never really expected to get any attention from this post and this is the most attention i’ve ever gotten from posting anything and ig i just want to say thanks for noticing this? my intention for making this was kinda to enforce that the majority of people are indeed #3′s who literally sing everything (yes, including the instrumental bits) but i’ve noticed that a lot of people are actually discussing being ones, twos, or even fours, where they put their own twist to it! i’m really happy to have contributed something like this to the queen community, and i don’t really know why else i’m writing this other to say thanks, continue being fabulous single person operas (or whatever part you’re comfortable with), and make queen proud!!
There are only 3 kinds of people:
1. People who sing the high parts in Bohemian Rhapsody
2. People who sing the low parts in Bohemian Rhapsody
3. People who try to be a one-man opera and try to sing everything all at once

Rock? Rock.
Being a rock fan is so fun because there are so many things that are included in “rock”. Like with other genres, you kind of have a set type of music that you listen to and it doesn’t really differ, but with rock, two songs can sound completely different, yet still be classified as rock. It’s just really funny that you can go from listening to Jerry Lee Lewis to The Who to Queen to Van Halen to Nirvana, who all have completely different styles of music and sound nothing alike, yet are all under the giant rock umbrella. And when you enjoy listening to all the sub-genres that go along with rock, it’s just one big party and it’s really, really amazing.

Fangirling
There was this one time when my friend was obsessing over Tom Holland and I was like, “Wow, I forgot that normal people don’t fangirl over musicians four times their age.” Oops.

Duff’s Cheekbones
Tumblr media
Today I was reading Duff McKagan’s autobiography It’s So Easy and Other Lies (it’s really good, 10/10 would recommend btw) and I was with my friend who unfortunately knows nothing about GNR. When I closed the book for a second, her reaction to the cover was “Wow, he has better cheekbones than me” and honestly it was too good to not share with y’all because Duff does have some pretty kick-ass cheekbones tbh.
